Dawn: Will she be ok?
Static: *Snorts* (Oh yea. This has happened plenty of times!)
Paul: Should I be relieved or even more worried?
Static: (Both actually... But for now, I'M in charge with Talon as my Co-Host!)
Serpent: I'm not taking orders from a dog!
Talon: *Breaths fire in his face*
Serpent: ... Carry on.
Static: (Now that Clan's pokemon will be ruling for this chapter, I will be in charge of all of you.) *Puffs out chest for good measure*
Talon: *Sits next to Clan's desk* (Anyone who objects will be tied to a torture chair and will be shown their worst nightmare.)
Dawn: That's a little extreme for a pokemon...
Static: *Sit's at Clan's desk and slams paws on desk in anger* (YOU DARE SPEAK AGAINST YOUR GENERAL?!)
Dawn: *Straightens up in seat* NO MA'AM.

Serpent: *Takes pokeball and calls out Luke* Here, *Hands him lucarionite and puts on mega ring*

Talon: (So you're completely ok with a flame breathing canine and an electric lion, but you draw the line at a ring you put on your wrist?)

Talon: (Her game name is Aurora and Rory for short. In her party to fight the 7th gym, she has Tsunami the Greninja, Eruption the Charziard, Female Meowstic, Aura the Lucario, Jewel the Sableye, and Orb the Grumpig!)

Short Story Info
Clan's name: Aurora
Pokemon: Static and Eclipse (Weavile)
It was a bright and clear day... Aurora was sleeping in her tent when she woke up to a loud sound. She shot up, but hit her head against Eclipse's. "What was that for?!". Eclipse glared at me. "Wea wea! Vile, weavile!". Aurora got up and stretched. "Whatever...", I opened up our tent's flap for us to go outside. Once we saw who was outside, out jaws opened wide.
Cobra was siting by the fire with a trumpet in her hands, blasting it louder then they thought was possible. Cry, her purrloin, was laying in her lap twitching her tail happily. Behind her stood Riley, staring off into the distance as he normally does with his Honchkrow standing right by him. I facepalmed. "What are you doing here Cobra...?"
Said girl stopped playing and gave me a look. "I just wanted to play to you the song of my people.". I sweatdropped and turned to Riley for answers. "She wanted to invite you to come with us.".
"Yeppers! I wanted to see if you wanted to do a contest for once! Your first dream was about being a coordinater anyways!".
I looked to Eclipse, one of my most trusted pokemon. She was my second pokemon, right behind Static. Eclipse gave a nod. I sighed. "... Fine... Where's the next contest, and when?".
She pointed south. "There.". I turned left and for the second time, my mouth gapped. We were already in Veilstone City, only a few feet away. 'How did I miss that last night', I thought to myself. I turned slowly back to Cobra who was feeding Cry some cute poffins. "Do you have any poffins? And how many pokemon do I need?"
Cobra took out a brush and a box. After tossing the purple and black spotted box to me, she began to groom Cry. "Two pokemon. I suggest Static and Weavile since they're close to you.". I opened up a box and smiled to see it wasa box full of dry, spicy, and sweet poffins. 'Beauty, coolness, and cuteness. Perfect for Eclipse and Static.'. I looked back at Cobra. "One last question."
She put away her brush and fell on her back, hands behind head. "Fire away.".
"When is the contest?"
"Today at noon."
"Oh, alrigh- WHAT.". I quickly checked the time. ... 3:14 AM?! I hung my head low and growled lowly to myself. Riley looked to me and raised an eyebrow. "You always wake up at three AM anyways, what's the problem.".
"THE PROBLEM IS I WAS WOKEN UP FOR THIS!", I shouted at them both. Cobra hid behind Riley due to my anger and rage. "S-sorry! I just thought-"
I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Never mind... I'll meet you by the Contest Hall at noon..."
12:00 PM
Aurora/Clan's POV
I paced around the backstage of the Contest Stage. I was nervous, I've never done a contest before! Not only that but I had to dress up nice. I had on a black tux and my black hair was put up in a long pony tail with a golden star piece at the end. The tux had a dark blue under shirt and dark blue outlining. The bottom of my pants and sleeves had a bright yellow line, and then a dark blue line. Static, my Luxray, watched my as I walked back in forth.
"Luxray lux."
"I know Static, but what if I fail?!"
"Ray Lu."
"I can't just 'Get over it'! This is important to me!"
"Lux...", Static got up and nudged me on the leg. "Ray ray, Luxray ray lux luxray lux!"
I sighed as I crouched down and smiled happily at my pokemon. I patted her gently on the head. "I know you will do your best, and so with Eclipse. Your my two closest pokemon!". I got up and looked at one of the several screens hanging around the room. On the screen was Cobra and Cry preforming.
Cry used Shadow Claw on the Shadow Balls and they all exploded in a glittering purple. Cry landing on two feet, and gave a bow.
That looked amazing! How will I be able to top that?!
"NEXT UP IS AURORA, A NEW COORDINATOR FRESH TO THE SCENE!"
I put Static in her ultra ball and looked if over for a second. It was scratched and scarred from the many battles she's fought through. No... the battles WE fought through. And we'll fight through this one. I walked out onto the stage with my head held high. The crowd was silent. I didn't give a rat's a**. I smiled and threw out Static's pokeball. "Do it right, Static!"
Blue lightning shot out as Static landed in front of me, her head held high. She gave off a mighty roar that made some of the crowd shiver.
"Wow! Aurora starts it off by taking out a Luxray! Let's see what this fearful looking pokemon can do!", the announcer said.
Static looked back at me, and gave me a nod. I nodded back. Use Electro Ball, followed by a Thunder attack and a Crunch!".
Static whipped her tail and several orbs of electricity flew off into the air, floating in a ring. 'Just as we practiced!'. Once they looked like they reached as high as they could, the lion-like pokemon jumped up and shot a Thunder attack. The bolt of lightning hit the Electro Balls, making a line of electricity connect each one to the ones next to it. Finally, the second Static landed, she pushed off the ground and launched back up and hit all the Electro Balls with Crunch. Each Electro Ball exploded, leaving nothing but sparks falling to the ground.
The crowd clapped and cheered as I took a bow. Static struck a regal pose as the judges began talking.
"You really know how to show off your pokemon! That was truly an amazing Crunch too!"
"Your Luxray isn't nearly as scary as I'd thought it'd be! Remarkable!" (Static: Yea, we all know that "Remarkable" guy...)
"I can sense the bond you and Luxray have between each other!"
I bowed one last time as I stepped backstage. The second I was out of sight, I fist pumped the air. "I knew it'd work! It took most of our time, but it was so worth it!", I turned to Static and tossed her a Poke-puff. "I ordered them from Kalos!", I saw her eat it happily, "I knew you'd enjoy it!".
I clapped my hand childishly as people gave me weird looks. I made it into the second round! Since this was a small contest, it was a two round one. Only two appeals, with no Contest Battles. I was kind of disappointed, but I guess I've never done a Contest Battle before.
"FIRST UP, WE WELCOME BACK AURORA! WHAT'LL SHE BRING OUT NEXT?"
I took a deep breath and put my hand on my other Ultra Ball as I walked out. This time, cheers came from all around as I stepped out. I smirked at the change I put onto the audience. 'Better not let my ego inflate', I jokingly ordered myself as I tossed the next Ultra Ball. Eclipse popped out and struck a pose with hands on her hips and an arrogant smirk.
"And the next pokemon we see from this new coordinator is a Weavile! Another scary pokemon... can she possible pass with such a dark looking pokemon?!"
'Yea. I will'
The Weavile seemed restless, so I answered to it. "Do it! What we practiced!". Eclipse put out it's hands on each side, palms upwards. Two twin beams shot up into the air and Eclipse started spinning. The light blue beams suddenly branched out into a Blizzard attack. The result was a tornado of snow that swallowed up most of the stage.
"Amazing! I wonder what will happen next! It seems that Aurora is hard to predict!"
I smirked. "Metal Claw.". Eclipse stoped spinning and stopped using Blizzard. Her claws began to shine and take in the snow swirling about. She launched herself into the air and into the middle of the tornado. "Dark Pulse!".
A hole peeked through the tornado, letting out a beam of purple and black. Another hole appeared along with countless others as the snow and ice exploded. Purple snow drifted down slowly and calmly as Eclipse landed. "Enchant 'em with your Sword Dance!". Four swords appeared above Eclipsed head and glowed purple from the snow raining down, matching her claws. The swords waved around as she danced with grace around the stage. Once the dance was done, she stopped in front of me and took a bow with me.
The audience roared, and a few threw flowers.
I held up the trophy in my hands. I did it...! I had barely pulled before Cobra's preformance, but I did it. They handed me a mic, urging me to take a speech, so I did.
"Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of being a coordinator. I choose the patch of a trainer once I got my first pokemon, Static. But... The spotlight was great! All the eyes on me and... and...", I looked to Eclipse and Static by my side, who gave me questioning looks. I laughed out loud. "Who and I kidding?! I'm a trainer all the way!", I put down the trophy as everyone, encluding Cobra, had their jaws wide open. "See ya later Cobra! Thanks for inviting me! I might just do this again next time, but with Contest Battles!"
I stepped down from the platform and walked off stage with Eclipse and Static trailing behind me. "Oh.. and also... WAKE ME UP AT 3:OO AM AGAIN AND I'LL HAVE STATIC CHARGE BEAM YOUR BUTT.". Static sparked to make a point, and we ran out the stage. 'We have a battle with Maylene to win!'
Me: Oi... *Rubs head* Where am I?
Serpent: *Walks up and kisses Clan deeply*
Me: ... *Breaks away and wipes at lips* THE *EEVEE* SERPENT?!
Static: (It was actually a dare this time...)
Serpent: A dare I'm ok with...
Me: And a dare I can't wash away... *Is washing mouth with a bar of soap*.
Talon: Oi, it couldn't have been that bad...
Me: ... *Throws the bar of soap at Talon's head, and it hits* ... Anyways... Prompt Ninja and Latara Hanu are making a Truth or Dare fanfic~! *Poses arrogantly* One that may rival even mine...!
