Chapter 21-

"But I suppose that it's supposed to get worst or else I wouldn't be here." Sierra said.

D.J. frowned. He hated tense moments, sad moments, as well as awkward silences.

"Do you think that Mr. Hatchet will just leave us locked in here, do you?" he asked, trying to make the room less tense. Ezekiel looked up.

"I hope not eh." He said.

Lindsay let out a gasp in horror as her eyes widened.

"I hope not. I have a date with Noah tonight." She said.

Gwen smiled and leaned back in her chair. "I wouldn't put it past him."

Heather just scoffed. "Well I certainly hope not. I can't stand being around you losers for the time I'm here; I can't deal with you for an entire night."

"Jeez, we love you to Heather." Bridgette replied sarcastically.

Izzy laughed.

Eva turned toward Heather with a smirk gracing her features. "Oh, don't worry about it, Princess. I'd probably kill you before midnight so you don't have to worry about being around us 'losers' that long."

The Asian let out of 'Humph', before muttering, "Whatever."

Serra let out a giggle but shook her head. "As much as I agree with you, he can't leave us here. If he forgot we're here eventually someone will start asking questions and look for us. Some of us get picked up."

"Good point." Justin said.

"Are you sure you don't want to take a break? Or finish next week?" Bridgette asked. The tall shook smiled.

"Thanks for your concern Bridge, but I'd rather just get it over with now."

The blonde nodded. "Well alright then."

Before Sierra could respond, Izzy spoke up.

"Say do you think that Chris is spying on us?" The teens turned their attention toward the red head.

"What are you talking about?" Ezekiel asked.

"I mean, what if he rigged the room with like hidden cameras and is watching us right now?" the red head explained.

"Why on earth would he do that, chica?" Alejandro asked.

"Duh…to make sure we came and do what it is were supposed to do."

"You're crazy." The male model answered.

"I agree." The Latino muttered.

Izzy glared at them.

"As much as that sounds like Chris would do. I don't think he's that smart." The Goth mused.

The red head laughed. The teens turned their attention back to Sierra.

"Whenever you're ready." D.J. told her.

Duncan looked around the living room for his keys.

"Where the hell did I put them?" he asked himself. After checking under the couch, he decided to look in the kitchen. He glanced around and found them on the counter top. Grabbing them and putting them in his pocket he walked out of the kitchen and toward the front door. As he approached the door he noticed a yellow envelope under the door.

'What the hell?' he thought. Duncan picked it up and looked at it.

'Well that's weird.' He thought to himself as he read it. There was no address written on it. It just had 'Gwen' written in the middle. He was tempted t open it but decided against it.

"I'll just find out when she opens it." The punk muttered as he headed out to pick her up.

"Things were quiet for a little while longer after that incident. For the most part they treated me as if I were part of the family. Well the other foster kids did. Mrs. Wilson's daughter couldn't stand us. She was so mean. Mostly to me but that was probably because I was closets to her age."

"How many foster kids did that woman have?" Eva asked.

"Counting me there were 4 of us. 5 altogether if you count her daughter."

"Wow."

"Yeah."

"Did you two fight?" Justin asked.

"Who? Me and her daughter?" Sierra asked. The male model nodded.

"Of course I did."

"What's the witch's name?" Gwen asked.

"Is it Heather? That's the name of a witch." The fitness buff said.

"Ha-ha, funny." Heather replied dryly.

"No. Her name is Jessica."

"She sounds like a bitch." Lindsay said.

"Well, she sort of is." Sierra agreed.

"How long did the 'peace' last?" Bridgette asked.

"Not that long…About a month later."

"Was it over something stupid?"

"Pretty much."

"Which was?" Heather asked.

"I forgot to do the laundry."

"Seriously, that's why you got in trouble the second time?"

"Yes. I forgot to do the laundry because I had to stay after school for the debate team. We had practice. So I didn't get home until after 6. But the Laundromat closes at 8 that day so I didn't have time to get it all done."

"So what happened?"

"I didn't get a prize that's for sure."

"Sierra, come here!" a voice yelled from one of the bedrooms.

The tall girl sighed as she got up from the table where she was doing homework and hesitantly made her way toward the room. She stopped and leaned against the open door.

"Yes, Mrs. Wilson." She said.

"Did you do the laundry like I told you too?"

The tall girls eyes widened in fear.

'Damn it!' she scolded herself. 'How could I forget that?'

"No. I didn't. I'm sorry." She answered.

"Oh you didn't?"

"No I didn't have time." Sierra explained.

"Jessica! Come here sweetheart!" the woman called her daughter.

Seconds later the teen appeared. She stood next to Sierra.

"What is it mom?" she asked.

"What is it that you needed for tomorrow?"

"My dress… I needed it washed for talent show tomorrow night."

"Well thanks to Sierra, you'll have to wear something else."

"What!" she yelled. She turned her attention to Sierra.

"You ruined everything!" she yelled at her. The tall girl rolled her eyes.

'Drama queen,' she thought to herself.

"I don't see what the big deal is. Wear another dress, go to the mall tomorrow buy one and get to school late. I really don't see what the big deal is."

Jessica let out a frustrated growl and stomped back to her room.

"Can I go now?" Sierra asked.

"No." was the short reply. She got up from her spot in the bed and walked over to Sierra. Grabbing her forcibly by her elbows she pulled her into her room and closed the door behind her and locked it.

Sierra braced herself, she knew what was coming.

"Listen here you, you little disobedient bitch. I'm going to teach you a lesson." Without warning she slapped her across the check. Her head turned to the side. It stung like hell but she held back her tears she refused to cry in front of her.

"Look at me!" Mrs. Wilson yelled at her. She turned her attention back to the woman.

"You are going to learn that when I tell you to do something, you do it."

"Understand?" she asked.

The teen just nodded her head.

"Good. Now strip." She ordered.

"Strip? Your kidding right?"

"I wish I was."

"Why did you need to strip?" Lindsay asked.

"Basically she hit me where no one would see. They don't see they don't ask questions and she doesn't get in trouble."

"Ouch." Gwen muttered.

"And after she beat me needless to say it wasn't over. She starved me for two days."

"Crazy bitch." Bridgette said. They all nodded in agreement.

"From then on, it was standard routine. If I forgot I'd get beaten and not feed. There were times when she would call Jessica and the two of them would gang up on me."

"That's just sick." Ezekiel said.

"So how did you know…?"

"How did I what?" Sierra asked.

"How'd you get out of the situation?" Heather asked.

"As time went on she got sloppy." She explained.

"Sloppy?"

"She made a mistake in my punishment once and hit me in the face, which gave me a busted lip and a black eye. I covered up the eye before I went to school but I couldn't do anything about the lip."

"Why not stay home?"

"As much as I wanted to I couldn't I had finals that I just couldn't miss. I'll be damned if I failed the semester because of that bitch. So I went. But I wish I hadn't."

"Okay you lost me." D.J. said.

"That was the day that helped me get out of the situation I was in but it was also the day that I will never forget.

Notes- Sorry for the cliff hanger, but this chapter was written a while ago and I just got the chance to post it. But the next chapter is already written in my notebook and half of it is already typed. The next chapter is my favorite so far, all the drama is in it. I'll be back to posting normally again, now that my computer is fixed and school is less of a pain now, so the next update will probably be next week. Till next time!
