Summary: After finding a hanyou pup that is supposedly his, Sesshoumaru does the most honorable task any demon can make—becoming a daddy. But with the help of his half-brother's secretary, maybe being Daddy Fluffy won't be so bad.

Kagome stared at the demon in front of her, holding a bouquet of roses. Was she dreaming or was this real life?
Whatever possessed Sesshoumaru to suddenly be nice and well, affectionate towards her...she liked it.
Last week, he had opened all the doors for her...and she didn't even walk through them.
Two days ago, he had invited her family over for dinner...and paid for their airfare and hotel.
Yesterday, he had complimented her cooking.
And now...flowers.
Was he going to fire her soon?
"Are these flowers not to your liking, Kagome?"
The dark-haired woman shook her hand and took the flowers from his grasp, her fingers immediately wanting to touch the soft petals. She couldn't help but smile, which definitely didn't go unnoticed by Sesshoumaru. "They're beautiful. Thank you."
Kagome eyed him carefully. What was he planning on doing? He was acting very uncharacteristically and it was bothering her. She didn't know what would happen next and the thought of not knowing made Kagome very uncomfortable.
Sensing the change in her scent, Sesshoumaru straightened up and cleared his throat. "Kagome Higurashi, I have something to confess to you."
Confess...? Kagome thought, fiddling with the flowers in her grasp. "Go on..."
The demon gulped and attempted to calm himself down. If this didn't work, surely he could castrate his father and half-brother. It just seemed like the right thing to do if this plan failed. "Rin enjoys your company."
Kagome furrowed her eyebrows and nodded. "I suppose so."
Sesshoumaru glared at her and pursed his lips. "Do not interrupt me at the moment." Kagome immediately shut her mouth and listened to him. "Rin, my father, Inuyasha and I enjoy your company. You are...uh...a well-raised and respectable young woman who I enjoy spending time with."
The dark-haired girl stared at him in confused. What was he trying to say? Sesshoumaru had never been this repetitive and it was starting to worry her.
"What I am asking you is to stay here and be with Rin-"
Kagome felt her heart deflate in her chest. So he was doing all of this to ensure that she wouldn't quit being Rin's technical nanny. She wasn't going to quit anyway...it would mean that she wouldn't be able to see Sesshoumaru and the thought of that pained her heart. "No worries, I'll continue to be Rin's-"
"What did I say about interrupting me?" Sesshoumaru's powerful voice overpowered her and Kagome found herself unable to speak once more. "What I was saying was that I want you to stay here and be with Rin and I. As a...as my girlfriend."
She knew her mouth was hanging open. She knew that her heart was racing out of her ribcage. She also knew that she threw herself into Sesshoumaru's strong yet comforting arms, grabbed his face, and quickly kissed him senseless.
Kagome knew exactly what her answer was.
"Yes!"

I know, I know! It's a rushed ending but before you start throwing flaming rocks on me,
I'd like to announce that this story's sequel: Playing Mister Romantic will be out in a week!
I had started writing a bunch of drabbles on Kagome and Sesshoumaru both being already romantically
linked together and trying/learning to raise Rin and well, I just knew that it couldn't fit with this story.
