AN: I know it took forever for me to put this chapter up, but it took me forever to write it. I'm having a hard time writing for this fic. That being said I am amazed that I'm still getting reviews and alerts added on this. I appreciate all of you so much. I have a couple chapters, or pieces at least, after this one mostly written from a few months ago, so hopefully they won't take as long to get up.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this chapter except for the things I do. Yeah, that made sense.
Return From Camp
It had been almost two weeks since Ali came home from camp. It had been the longest and strangest in her life. She missed her camp family. She had lived with that group for two months. Even now the guys were only a couple hours away. But it was still very different. She had gone from being connected to Jason nearly constantly and being in his arms for hours at a time, to being limited to phone calls and webchats most of the time. She was still out of school and obviously her summer job was over so she had plenty of free time, but the boys were preparing for their upcoming tour and she didn't want to get in the way, or cause trouble with the press. If Mitchie and Shane could keep out of the headlines, so could she and Jason. On top of that, she was trying to catch up with her friends after being gone all summer.
Originally Ali had thought it would be like any other change in her life. She would go home, fall back into the swing of things, no problem. She was wrong. Almost everything she did reminded her of something at camp.
What is going to happen when he goes on tour? Or when classes start up again? Ali wondered. She had a few weeks of down time before things went back to normal. Schools would start up again, she figured that being in class, and working with the kids would help keep her mind off Jason while he was on tour. For now she was trying to find ways to spend time up in LA so she was closer. She had plans to go up and sleep over at the Torres residence before going to dinner at Jason's house. That was a cuople weeks away. She would officially meet his parents. Ali was excited to meet his mother. She could tell they were close, but she couldn't remember hearing much about his father, from Jason or anywhere else.
Without Jason at her side she felt different, she felt like there was something incomplete. She wasn't as bubbly as she had been at camp, but it wasn't a huge change. Since she'd gotten back she was wondering how to proceed with Jason. It was becoming harder to actually see him face to face. It worried her. But when she was on the phone with him, everything was right with the world in her eyes. As it was at the moment, Ali sat on her bed watching her laptop as it played the screensaver of her summer pictures, thinking about her last day at camp and the days after.

After being dragged to the campfire the group had sat with the remaining employees and talked and sung.
The goodbyes were not as tearful as they would have been, with the knowledge that they would see each other soon. The group had promised to meet up once everyone was settled, but knowing they would see each other wasn't enough to keep the event void of emotion. It was a daunting thought that the next day everything would change. The boys who were instructors all summer would go back to being international popstars. The paparazzi would be watching almost every move. Jason would go from hugging first graders, to hugging fans.
"Come on guys, we have to get going," Nate said. His words were urgent, but his delivery of them showed how much he didn't want to leave. Shane gave Ali a light hug and got into the limo. Connie and Mitchie had left nearly an hour earlier and had taken Caitlyn with them to drop her off at the airport.
Jason nodded and sighed. He looked over at Nate.
"Sorry man, can't postpone it any longer," Nate shrugged, a helpless slave to the schedule, "See you Ali." He pulled her into a hug, before following Shane. The scene looked just as it had the summer before, Ali and Jason stood outside the car, neither wanting the day to end. So much had changed in that single year.
Ali was the first to break the silence, "Well I don't want to keep the guys waiting. It's not like I won't see you. You don't go on tour for a while yet, and you are only a couple of hours away." Jason was nodding and shaking his head appropriately as she spoke. She continued talking, "Sure the photographers and everything will make it harder, and I start classes again. Plus I go back to work and..."
Jason cut her off, putting a finger to her lips. "I love you." Was all he said and smiled at her in his loving, innocent, Jason-y way. Ali melted, all of her worries went out the window, and she couldn't for the life of her remember what she had been talking about.
She took his hand away from her face and held it, "I love you too." She pulled him in for a quick kiss, which ended up being longer than anticipated once Jason got the upper hand. Ali managed to pull away, and laughed.
"Ok, you seriously need to leave now," she smiled and ruffled his hair. He nodded, kissed her on the cheek and got in the car. Ali could hear the other band members teasing Jason about the kiss, she giggled as he stuck his tongue out at who she figured was Nate. Jason threw a smile and wave her way before the door was shut. She watched as the car drove out of sight. This time the smile on Ali's face was genuine because unlike the last time he had left her at Camp Rock, this time she new she would see him again soon.
She stood there staring for a while only to be drawn out of her daze by a chirp from her phone indicating a text message. She was slightly surprised to see that it was from Nate.
You have a long drive tomorrow, please get some sleep. Call us when you get home so we know you got there in one piece.
Ali yawned and was about to close her phone when she got a second text. This time it was from Jason.
The calling thing was my idea, he just texts faster. I love you. Sweet dreams Songbird.
Ali couldn't help but giggle at the first part, it was probably true. She waited until she got to her cabin and into bed before texting back.
I'll call. Good night Guitar Man.
Her plan was to get up as early as possible and out on the road at a decent hour. She was technically supposed to have left that day, but Brown was letting her sleep over one last night so she wouldn't have to drive tired. Listening to the radio on the way back proved that she was back in the real world, and that dating Jason was going to be complicated. The big music news was that Connect 3 had returned from their vacation and was ready to hit the road on their fall tour. She smiled, though it didn't last long when the news went on to speculate about summer loves and what hearts they would break in the coming months.
"Sources tell us that at least two members of the famous pop band have come back from their summer break very much off the market. Will these summer romances be more than just fun in the sun or, with the new tour approaching, will the change of season be especially cold for two certain girls…"
Ali shook her head and changed the station.

She came out of her memories with the worst feeling in the pit of her stomach. How am I homesick while I'm sitting in my room? She wondered. Just then her phone rang. It was Jason's ringer. She smiled and answered it.
"Hey Guitar Man. You have amazing timing."
"Awesome. What did I do?"
"You called me. I was thinking about our last day at camp and getting homesick, well camp sick I guess."
"Do you want to meet up today?" Jason asked. He hadn't seen her in over a week. Shane had pointed out that a week wasn't very long. To which Jason replied that it "was too" and that it was even longer since he was used to seeing her everyday.
"Sure, but we need a time and place." This was a problem they had faced nearly every day. It was becoming tradition. Every day Jason would call and ask if she wanted to spend time with him. She always wanted to, but so far he had never thought it through far enough for it to actually happen. She tried to help, but she was new at the whole hiding from the press thing, and the distance was a little bit of an issue, they needed to allow for hours of travel time.
"I know, this time I've got one."
"Let's hear it then."
"We are staying home today, well we are at the house all day. I don't live there yet," Jason started. He knew that Ali couldn't come directly to the house, people would see and the rumors would start, at least that was what Nate had told him. "Anyway, Jasper is coming over. I think you two should meet up and he could bring you over." He sounded very proud of his plan.
"So you want your manager to smuggle your girlfriend into your house?"
"Dude, she can't hear you nod your head," she heard Nate say from somewhere near Jason.
Ali giggled, "I think that plan might just work. Tell Nate I say hi. Where should I meet up with Jasper?"
"Nate, Ali says 'hi'," Ali heard Nate shout a 'hello' back towards the phone, "I think you should call him and ask. I told him about the plan, but I thought it would be easier for you if you guys picked the place. I think he might be going to the library, if that helps. Plus, he didn't go for my idea to meet up at the pet store by all the birds."
"That's cute. So I'm just another errand?" Ali joked.
"But you're the prettiest errand."
"Aw, you're sweet. I'll give Jasper a call and let you know when I'll be over. I'll try to convince him that the pet shop is a good idea too, just for you."
"Ok, see you later Songbird."
"Love you G-man."
- - - - -
It was nearly three in the afternoon when Ali got to the house. Jasper and Ali got out of the car and approached the door. Ali stayed just around the corner and out of sight as Jasper rang the doorbell. Jason answered it and it was easy to tell that he had been waiting by the door. He was bouncing slightly, like an excited puppy.
"Hey Jaz, where's Ali?"
"Hello and nice to see you too," Jasper greeted sarcastically as he entered the house, "Ali who?"
Jason's eyes got wide, staring at his manager, his back to the open door. Ali chose that moment to make her presence known. She launched herself at Jason leaping onto his back. Ali figured that at most he would catch her and remain upright. She wouldn't have been surprised if they both ended up falling to the ground. However that was not the case. As usual she was amazed by Jason, who not only caught her, but somehow managed to swing her to his front. The whole thing happened so quickly that they were unable to balance and ended up with Ali pinned to the wall, just inside the house, with her legs still around Jason's waist. The action made a rather loud sound, drawing the attention of the other people in the room.
Jason didn't pull away at first. "Hi." He said brightly, still holding her up.
"Hi love, I missed you. But maybe you should put me down. Our friends might get the wrong impression," she smirked. He shook his head no.
"Hmm. Would this help?" She kissed him lightly. His hands went from holding her up to her hair. They pulled apart and Ali smiled victoriously, "That's better."
She looked past Jason to Shane and saw him rolling his eyes.
"You just wait Shane. Let's see what happens next week when Mitchie moves within driving distance." She slipped from her sandwiched position and went to join the others, Jason following close behind. "How's it going Nate?" she asked, giving him a half hug.
"Tour is coming up." He shrugged.
"That's not really an answer, but I'll take it anyway." She smiled and Jason pulled her down to sit next to him on the couch and intertwined their fingers. She smiled and looked around the room. "So what are you guys up to today?"
"We are going to work on some design ideas for the album. Art and such," Jasper said, speaking up for the first time since entering the house."
"Sounds cool," Ali nodded, "Can I watch?"
Nate looked at her as if to ask if she was serious, "Have we ever not included you when you're around? If you want to you can design it yourself."
"Cool. I am all powerful," she said in an attempt at a booming voice, before breaking down in giggles, "But I don't want to. Actually, all I want right now is some water. Got any of that around here?"
"No, we live in a house with no water," Shane said sarcastically. Jason looked at him.
"That's not true, I saw a bunch of water bottles in your fridge."
Shane rolled his eyes and Ali laughed lightly, "Well then how about you point me in that direction."
- - - - -
Ali stayed for a few hours. When she got tired of sitting on the couch she gave herself a tour of the house and ended up back in the living room as the group was finishing up. Jason was stretched out on the couch with his feet propped up on the coffee table. Ali decided to take up the rest of the couch, just as she put her head on his stomach she heard a rumbling and felt Jason tense.
"Hungry?" she asked smirking. He nodded sheepishly. Ali sat up, "Well in that case, mind if I cook?
"Is that a trick question?" Shane asked, "You are in our house and offer to cook. Why would we say no?" Nate threw a wadded up piece of paper at the pop star. "Hey!"
"Ali, you don't need to cook for us, we can fend for ourselves," Nate told her.
"Well I hope so, but I don't mind. I want to do something, keep my hands busy."
"Well if you want to, I won't stop you. But I'm helping," Nate said, getting up.
"Sounds good."
Jason was about to follow them when Jasper pushed him lightly back into his seat, "Oh no you don't. You weren't paying much attention to the stage design in the meeting yesterday and I know for a fact your band mates don't want you asking them about it constantly.
Ali and Nate walked into the kitchen and he pulled out two aprons off a hook in the pantry, one of which had music notes and birds playing guitars on it.
"Let me guess, that one is Jason's," Ali noted. Nate nodded and tossed it to her.
"Thanks," she put it over her head, "So you are the one that keeps you both from starving."
"Have you ever seen Shane in the kitchen?" he shuddered. "He can bake well enough, when he's supervised. But cooking is really not his strong suit."
They went through the kitchen deciding what to make. Ali was nearly in tears, laughing by the time the others joined them in the kitchen. The rest of the evening went smoothly, they finished dinner, which Shane and Jason were forced to clean up, and were settling in to watch TV when Jasper looked at his watch.
"Sorry all, but it looks like I need to get going, and that means there is a certain someone in this room you need to part with."
Jason wrapped his arms a little tighter around Ali as she sat on the couch next to him and shook his head.
"None of that, I smuggled her in, that means I'm responsible for smuggling her out. Consider her my hostage."
"He's right. My mom will be calling me any minute I'm sure, to figure out where I am and when I'm coming home. I told her I was going to hang out with some friends and I wasn't sure when I was getting home. She's not a huge fan of the drive two hours away for a day trip concept." As if on cue her phone rang. Ali gave a slight laugh and answered it. "Hi Mom, I was just talking about you."
"All good things I hope."
"Of course."
"Hi Mrs. Spencer," Jason said loudly, leaning toward the phone.
"So that's where you are. Are you planning on coming home anytime soon? You know you have things to do tomorrow."
"Yeah, I know. I was just leaving," she shot Jason a sad face, still listening to her mother. "Ok Mom, I will. See you later." She hung up the phone. "Well by orders of Mrs. Elizabeth Spencer I am Jasper's hostage. Bye guys, thanks for having me over." She slowly drew herself up from the couch.
"You're over eighteen," Shane pointed out.
"Yeah, I know. But I'm still under my parent's roof, so I have to follow their rules." She gave Shane and Nate quick hugs. She kissed Jason on the cheek as Jasper went to the car and their friends went inside.
"That's it?" Jason asked. She was going to say good bye and leave, no plans for next time or anything?
"Well, Mitchie is moving in a couple of days and then I'll be able to be up here a little more. Maybe this will help," she kissed him soundly on the lips. "Remember, I'm helping the Torreses move and spending the night with Mitchie and Caitlyn the next weekend. Plus we are having dinner with your parents the next week right? So I'll see you pretty soon."
Jason hung his head but nodded.
"Hey Guitar man, give me a smile?" she asked.
"Maybe," he smirked. Ali acted offended and put her hands on her hips. Jason grabbed her hands pulling her towards him and met her in a kiss, he pulled back and smiled. "Ok, now you can go."
Ali shook her head laughing. "What am I going to do with you?" she asked as she got in the passenger side of Jasper's car. Jason shrugged his shoulders and closed the door for her.
It was about a forty minute drive back to where Ali had left her car. That could go two ways, a great conversation with the mildly famous manager/producer/writer or a really long, awkward silence.
"You and Jason are the most interesting pair I've ever seen." Jasper said out of the blue, after sitting in silence for the first few minutes.
"How is that?"
"I've seen Jason interact with every girlfriend he's had since I started working with them. None of them acted like you do around him. You are completely at home around the whole group. I've never seen him with anyone like that."
Ali shrugged, "They are kind of like family. After being around them all summer there's really no other way for me to act around them."
"I'm glad for that. Jason has had some, how should I put this?" he paused, thinking, "Let's just say that Jason wasn't their main interest."
"So those internet rumors were true?" Ali asked, irritated, "She was just using him? That's unbelievable. Why would anyone do that to Jason?"
Ali knew there were a ton of reasons people would use Jason, but it infuriated her to think of him getting hurt because of it.
"Well in case you haven't noticed, he's not always the most perceptive and he has his quirks."
"Like the personal space thing?" Ali knew that most people weren't used to the fact that Jason was a very tactile person.
"Yes, things like that. There has to be something about Jason that irritates you," Jasper prodded. He wanted to get to know Ali a little better, they hadn't spent much time together, but Jason had told him plenty about her.
Ali thought for a moment, "Nothing comes to mind." It was an honest answer, but it bothered her. There had to be something about him that bugged her. Most of her friends had attributes that got on her nerves at least once in a while.
"Hmm, interesting." Jasper turned on the radio, to an oldies station that they had agreed on.
- - - - - -
The next week flew by. Ali had spent a few days up with Mitchie and her family, helping them move. Nate had offered for her to stay in the guest room of their house, but she didn't think it would be the best idea, given the fact that there were already a handful of pictures of her and Jason floating around the internet.
"There is no way that you can honestly tell me that it's a good idea to have pictures of a girl that is rumored to be dating your best friend seen coming out of your house first thing in the morning."
"There is no guarantee that they will see you. Sometimes you need to not worry about the press Als." He told her. He loved that she was thinking of the band, and she was right, the rumors wouldn't be pretty by any means, but that was only if they got the pictures in the first place.
"That might be true, but I don't think this is one of those times. I'd rather not be linked to multiple Connect 3 members, thank you very much. And don't think that using my nickname is going to get you anywhere in an argument with me." She winked at him before walking away.

It had been nearly a month since the end of camp and the group of friends had gathered at the Torres residence to watch some movies and spend some time together. Ali was there to spend the night and meet Jason's parents the next day. The couple was lying on the couch, watching the credits of a movie. Jason was sandwiched between Ali's back and the back of the couch. He had one arm hanging over her waist; the other was propping up his head.
"I can't believe we just watched High School Musical," Nate moaned, running a hand over his face. He was sitting sideways on the recliner, his legs hanging over the arm rest. Caitlyn was sitting where his feet should have been.
"You loved it and you know it," she told him, tossing some left over popcorn at his face. She was a fan and when that became apparent Jason had to pause the movie because he couldn't hear the dialogue over Nate and Shane's teasing.
"You'll never be able to prove that," Nate muttered, making Caitlyn laugh.
"Eh, I don't think it was that great," Shane said shrugging.
"What would make it great? Having it be all about you?" Mitchie asked sarcastically.
"Maybe. Why not?"
"Because then 'E! True Hollywood Story' would be out of the job," Nate smirked.
"Not my whole life," Shane said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "How about last summer at Camp Rock? When I was looking for Mitchie? That would work."
"Would we be able to play ourselves or would you have us audition?" Caitlyn asked, deciding to play along.
Shane thought for a moment, "Maybe. I think I might need Mitchie to try out," he joked, "After all, I'm sure that there are tons of girls that would love to play my love interest."
"Shane!" Mitchie squealed and slapped his chest. They were sharing an oversized chair. Ali noticed Jason hadn't said anything yet.
"What's up G-man?"
"That Jason guy reminded me a little bit of someone." He thought for a moment before his face brightened. "He acts like me!"
Ali couldn't help but giggle. "I guess he kind of does, but I've got to say that I like you better," she smiled, "It's not his parents that I'm meeting tomorrow you know."
"So you get to meet the Walkers tomorrow?" Caitlyn asked Ali before turning to Nate, "Have they changed at all?" Caitlyn had only met Jason's parents once. It was after Connect 3's first performance as a band, in Final Jam. It was based off of that performance that they had been signed to a record label. She found it hard to believe that that was four years ago.
"Not at all," he responded. He still remembered the "once over" that Mr. Walker had given them and the semi-disappointed glance he gave his son as Mrs. Walker gushed about how amazing they'd been.
"What is she talking about?" Ali asked turning over so she was facing her boyfriend.
"My dad isn't the most supportive person around," Jason explained carefully.
"What?! How could he not be?" Ali exclaimed nearly getting up. Before Jason pulled her back down so she was laying beside him.
"It's our style," Shane said, "That's why his hair is curly right now."
She turned so she could face Jason; she had been facing away from him until that point. Jason nodded truthfully.
"Not totally. She likes it, too," Jason explained to Shane, and tightened his hold on Ali's waist almost subconsciously.
"Aww," Ali cooed, and shifted so she was on her back, wrapped her hands in his curls and pulled him down for a kiss.
"Come on guys, not my girlfriend's couch," Shane joked. They pulled apart. Ali giggled and Jason took a pillow from behind and threw it at his band mate.
"He has a point. What about tomorrow?" Ali asked trying to distance herself from his face, leaning back into the couch to look him in the eyes.
"What about it?" Jason asked propping himself up on his elbow again.
"We are pretty affectionate. Where do we draw the line around you parents?"
She hadn't thought about it before but now she realized that she wasn't very familiar with his family. What if they don't like me! Ali started to panic, if they judge Jason, their son, after everything he's accomplished, what will they think of me? Jason was still thinking about an answer. Their friends had gone back to their own conversations.
"We'll just see how it goes," Jason answered eventually. He looked down at Ali. She looked terrified. There were hundreds of thoughts rushing through her head.
"What's wrong songbird?"
"They aren't going to like me."
"Who?" he asked, he must have gotten lost in the conversation again. There was no way she was worried about his parents, right?
"Your parents!"
That answers that question. Jason thought.
She started ranting, "I'm plain, and boring, and definitely not good enough. I'm not planning to do anything exciting with my life. And with my looks the tabloids won't even … but I guess that's a good thing, but still, I just don't fit. Why do you even like me?" her voice continued to go faster and faster through her ramble. The more she spoke the more she realized how much she didn't fit in. Jason just smiled and ran his fingers down her cheek.
"I love you because you are absolutely amazing. Don't think for a moment you don't fit. We fit," he affirmed taking her hand in his. "Everyone says so. And don't worry about my parents, no matter what they say. But I do have a favor to ask."
Ali's panic was quelled by his words. He was showing his more serious side. Most people didn't know it existed and Ali was always amazed by it. "Sure."
"Watch out for my dad. I'm not sure how much he'll say in front of you, it tends to be in undertones, but his comments are usually negative towards me."
"So you don't want me to say anything?" Ali wasn't a very outspoken person, but she had defended Jason as a musician before she even knew him, "He's your father, he's not supposed to be that way."
"Please," he pleaded, "I'm not going to be there much longer. I'll be fine, I'm used to it."
"Fine," she huffed, "But I won't be happy about it."
"Thank you."
Ali gave him a half smile, but it faded, "There's no way you don't get affected by what he says." She thought for a moment about what she should do if things got awkward, "Would it be weird if I held your hand the entire time?" She was only half joking; she wanted to be able to calm herself and support him. At the moment she couldn't think of a better, or more subtle way to do that. Jason gently intertwined their fingers.
"That shouldn't be a problem," Jason reassured her. He seemed to know why she asked. In Nate's words, they were on the same wave length.
"So do we want to watch another movie or what?" Caitlyn asked. Ali looked at the clock.
"I don't know, you guy's can. I'm going to crash so I can be mostly awake when I meet the parents. My morning commute was a little to early for me today." Ali got up from the couch and knelt beside it. "G'Night Guitar Man."
"Sweet dreams Songbird," he replied. She gave him a peck on the lips, got up and disappeared down the hall. Jason watched her and smiled before settling back into the couch.
Ali could hear the faint dialogue of new movie as she shut off the light. The talk about his parents had shaken her, but she tried to quiet her mind enough to sleep. Jason's laughter was the last thing she could remember hearing before she fell asleep.
She slept fitfully, dreaming of disastrous meetings with the Walkers where they laughed at her and banned her from seeing their son ever again. At one point she dreamt that the house transformed and she was trapped inside. Somewhere in the back of her mind she acknowledged that it was becoming very similar to Michael Jackson's video "Thriller". However, knowing that it was all just a dream didn't make it any less terrifying.
In the other room the laughter was dying down and Jason got quiet, his eyebrows furrowing.
"What's up dude?" Shane asked.
"I'm going to check on Ali," Jason replied getting up. There was a weird feeling in his stomach, something wasn't right. Shane raised his eyebrows suggestively, "Sure, you are."
Jason rolled his eyes and walked down the hall to Mitchie's room. He poked his head through the door, it allowed enough light in from the hall to see Ali tossing and turning. She was sleeping. He wasn't happy to see that she wasn't sleeping well, but she was sleeping, so he figured she was ok. He was about to close the door and go back to the living room when he heard a muffled yelp. Within moments he was by her side, confused and unsure of how to help. At the closer proximity he could see her distressed expression and furrowed brow.
"Ali? Shh, it's ok," he soothed, running his hand over her cheek, brushing the hair from her face. It seemed to help, she stopped tossing and curled up on her side, facing him.
"I know I'm not good enough," she semi-cried, still trapped in her dream. Jason shook his head. It really bothers her that much? He wondered, and continued stroking her face. He started to sing the lullaby he remembered he'd heard her sing to the kids at camp.
"Baby sleep, gently sleep. Life is long and love is deep. Time will be sweet for thee. All the world to see. Time to look around and know, how the shadows come and go. Why the breeze stirs the trees. How the blossoms grow." By the end of it Ali's face had relaxed and she appeared to be sleeping soundly. He bent down and placed a kiss on her temple before going back out to the living room.
He got a few questioning glances when he resumed his place on the couch.
"She was having a bad dream," he explained as if that cleared the whole thing up.
The questioning glances changed to one of disbelief, one of awe, and the other two were just confusion.
"You knew that from this room?" Mitchie asked.
"No… maybe."
"You're still surprised by that?" Caitlyn asked her.
"We were with them all summer. It's like they share a brain" Shane commented.
"Yeah, but not on this level," Mitchie defended, it was like telepathy she added silently.
"She's right," Nate interjected, "I don't know if I've ever seen him do that."
"Guys, why does it matter? Problem solved, end of story." Jason asked. In all honesty he didn't understand it either. It was just kind of a gut instinct to check on her.
"How did you do anything about it?"
"I sang to her," he shrugged like it was obvious and went back to the movie, oblivious to the looks from his friends.
- - - - -
Back in Mitchie's room Ali's dream had changed; the horror scene in front of her had faded and slowly, almost melodically, changed to a familiar setting. She and Jason were sitting together on the dock looking out over the lake at Camp Rock. He was singing a lullaby to her as she rested against his chest. She tried to pull away to tell him about her nightmare but he just held her softly where she was and continued to sing. She calmed down and relaxed into him, closing her eyes. The only thing running through her mind was that everything was going to be fine.
