Crystal Snow

Chapter 21 - Iron Bells of Love and War

I do not own Naruto in anyway

Hey everyone, been awhile. School started back up for me and I haven't really had the time to write any since classes and work are both really annoying. However, I have been able to work on it every once and awhile and it's now done. A good thing has come out of this though because I was able to learn quite a bit more about how to use japanese correctly for stories. So from this chapter on in this story I should be using correct honorifics for everyone.

The poll for the next story has been closed. Meaning that the next story has been chosen.

The next story I will be doing once I finish Crystal Snow is… Plucked from the Sky!

Thank you to everyone who voted.

Update - 20/1/16 - I have reset the poll due to a interesting increase of stories for choices. The 23 chapter will have all the updated information when it gets posted.

I leaned on the railing of the cliff, looking down at the rebuilt sections of the village. It has been nearly two months since Pein's attack and we're only just getting over the initial effects of it. Because of the attack our squad hasn't been allowed to go on any missions. I let my eyes drift over to the rebuilt Hyuuga compound. Mostly because of the fact that having two Jinchūrikiin your village is a great way to make enemies think again about attacking.

I stood up straight and looked the sky and took a deep breath. I stepped away from the railing and turned toward the stairs, feeling my ryu-sennin cape flap against my legs. I needed to get back to the compound. Hanabi-chan would be getting worried soon if I didn't report soon. I sighed and started to walk.

Ever since Pein killed her Hanabi-chan has been very attached to me. So much so that I couldn't be gone for more than an hour without her going into a extreme panic. As far as we could tell it's an irrational separation anxiety. She will destroy anything and everything just to get me into her line of sight. We know that Hokage-sama would be able to heal Hanabi-chan from her mental illness but there lies another problem.

I noticed the guards standing outside of the temporary walls and metal gate of the Compound. I nodded to them and they slide open the door for me. I walked down the halls and toward our room.

I slide open the door of our room and saw Hanabi-chan and Onee-sama on our bed with more binders, probably full of wedding materials. I saw both women look at me, I saw Hanabi-chan get a glint in her eyes and launched herself at me. I caught her and held her. "Rai-kun, where did you go?" I looked down at Hanabi-chan's pure white eyes. Her eye's still held such innocence even with all the suffering she has gone through.

"Just getting some air." I saw her nod and she walked back to the bed and grabbed the binder she tossed away. I walked over to the chair we got for the room and sat down. "How is everything going with you Onee-sama?" Because of the attack no one knows that if her child will survive or if it's already dead. She refused to have any tests to check saying that time will tell for sure. I had already checked with my byakugan. Her child was dead, but I haven't had the heart to tell her.

"I'm alright Kurai-kun, I'm pretty sure I felt him kick today." I saw Onee-sama start to rub her stomach. I felt a sad twing flow through me.

"That's good Onee-sama." I looked away from her happy smile. It was difficult to lie to her like this but I had to. I had the feeling Hanabi-chan knew to but I never brought it up. "How's the wedding coming together?" I saw Hanabi-chan's eyes scan over the page of the binder she had.

"Hmm… we're about done selecting the decorations." I watched as Hanabi-chan put down the binder and looked at me. "All that's really left for us is to select the cake flavour and style."

"Oh, I'm included in on this?" I smirked a little as I saw Hanabi-chan blush slightly.

"It's not my fault you're terrible at selecting decorations." I heard a muffled laugh. I glanced over to Onee-sama and saw she covering her mouth with her hand.

"Onee-sama?" I saw her calm down and smile.

"Sorry, it's just that you two really are such a good couple. Seeing you two bicker like that just reminded me of…." I could tell Onee-sama was getting depressed. She has lost so much and is going to lose so much more. I wonder how she can keep herself together. I made my way to the door.

"You two must be hungry. Want me to grab you some lunch?" I saw the girls look at me and nod. They went back to their binders. I opened the door and left the room. I made my way down the hallways toward the kitchen. I opened the door to the kitchen and saw the kitchen busy with a large amount of chefs baking, roasting and other types of cooking. I made my way past the chefs to a storage area that held food that did not need to be prepared. I quickly grabbed some bags of chips and made my way past the chefs again. I exited the kitchen and started to make my way back to Hanabi-chan and Onee-sama.

"Boy." I stopped mid pace and looked behind at the voice behind me. I saw an elder standing his dull white eyes attempting to glare at me. I got bored looking at the old fool and turned away and started to make my way back to Hanabi-chan. "I did not dismiss you yet, boy." I sighed and made a clone sign. With a puff some smoke next to me I saw another me standing there. I handed the clone the chips and my clone went on his way. With that done I turned and looked at the aged idiot.

"What do you want?" I saw the elder wanted to lose his temper but held it back like a true Hyuuga.

"The elder council is having a meeting and Hiashi-sama has requested your presence." Now that got my attention. Why would Hiashi-sama have any need to speak to me? If it has to deal with the council though it's more than likely not good.

"Were you given a reason why?"

"It has to deal with Hanabi-sama and yourself." I sighed.

"Please lead the way, elder-san." I saw the elder glare at me for the lack of respect I was showing. I saw him turn and start to walk. I followed quietly behind him, wondering what wonderful pleasantries I was going to great each elder with.

I walked into the large meeting room and saw the entire elder council. I saw Hiashi-sama sitting by himself while the elders were closer together. I stepped forward and walked toward Hiashi-sama, feeling all the old white orbs follow my every movement. When I got to Hiashi-sama I gave a slight bow. "Hiashi-sama, you have requested my presence?" I saw Hiashi-sama nod.

"Yes, I have had an interesting request from the elders for you and Hanabi." I couldn't help but think about how annoying this was going to be and how would I fix this mess as fast as possible. "This wish to move the date of the wedding to three days." I felt my blood run cold. What the hell were they playing at? Why would they want to move the wedding to such a close date? I glanced at the elders and saw them all stoic.

"Why do the elders make this proposal?" I saw a younger elder rise and stood before me.

"We on the elder council think that something like your wedding could be used to increase the moral of the village." So they were just using us for the benefit of the clan. Have us have a large wedding and have people take so much focus off of the attack and on something more happy. This would make the Hyuuga seem quite stable for us to do something like that. I could see why they would suggest this and it's not entirely for their greed for the clan.

"I will discuss this with Hanabi-chan." I looked back towards Hiashi-sama. "Hiashi-sama, may I give you an answer later?" I saw him nod. "Thank you." I looked back toward the elder standing before me. "Is that all you have to discuss with me?" I saw him nod.

"Yes." I saw him make his way back to his seat. With knowing that I was done here I made my way out of the room into the hallway. I closed the door to the council room and felt a huge tension lift off of me. God I hated situations like that. I gathered myself mentally and started to make my way back to Hanabi-chan and Onee-sama.

WWW
I slid open the door to the Onee-sama's room and saw several empty bags of chips on the ground. I looked toward Hanabi-chan and Onee-sama and saw them both incredibly focused in their binders. I walked toward the chip bags and pushed the pile with my foot. "Should I even ask?" I saw Hanabi-chan's eyes glance at me while keeping her head in the binder.

"No." I sighed and sat down in the chair.

"Hanabi-chan, I just spoke to the Council and Hiashi-sama." I saw Hanabi-chan slam her binder shut. She threw the binder on the ground and rushed over to me.

"What the hell are they trying to do now." I looked Hanabi-chan in the eyes. I could see that she was starting to overthink things, not that I did much better at first.

"It's actually out of the usual greedy things they try." I saw Hanabi-chan give me a suspicious look. "They want to move the wedding to three days." I saw Hanabi-chan's face go from pale to red rapidly. I saw Hanabi-chan go back to the bed and sit down. I watched her face slowly return to normal colour. I heard Onee-sama close her binder and look at me.

"Kurai-kun, why are they pushing this?" I leaned back in the chair and looked at the two women in the room.

"They say that it will be a good way to improve the moral of the village." I could tell that the two could feel like there could be more. "I know, I'm skeptical of them to. But so far I can't really see them getting anything out of it." I saw both Hanabi-chan and Onee-sama attempting to think of something that the elders would get out of this. I saw Hanabi-chan sigh.

"I can't think of anything, can you Koyuki-sama?" I saw Onee-sama close her eyes in focus.

"I can only think that they are trying to show that the village hasn't been weakened by the attack." I nodded. That could be another reason. I looked to Hanabi-chan.

"So, Hanabi-chan, what do you want to do?" I saw Hanabi-chan light up red again.

"W..Well I think that if there's n...nothing bad about it….." I could tell what Hanabi-chan was saying but I felt like teasing her.

"If there's nothing bad about it what?" I saw Hanabi-chan cover her face with her hands, a trait she picked up from Hinata-san and her finger poke.

"W...well… I think that it wouldn't be a…. bad idea.." I saw her face get even brighter. I smiled at how Hanabi-chan was reacting.

"Yea, I agree." I saw Hanabi-chan get wide eyed. I saw her process what I said. She suddenly jumped up off the bed and hopped on top of me. I felt her push her lips against mine suddenly. I heard a cough in the background. We looked back and saw Onee-sama with a sinister smile on her face.

"Wow Kurai-kun, I didn't know you had such a way with the girls." I felt my cheeks heat up slightly.

"What can I say Onee-sama, I'm just the coolest." I raised my hand and formed a cube of ice. I saw Onee-sama put a hand on her face and shake her head. I felt a sudden impact on the top of my head. I looked at Hanabi-chan and saw her with a fist.

"Don't make such lame jokes Rai-kun."

"Alright, Alright." I motioned for Hanabi-chan to get off of me. She slid off of me and I stood up. "Okay, I'll go tell Hiashi-sama that we will move the date." I saw Hanabi-chan nod her head.

"Alright Rai-kun. See you in a bit then." I nodded and went to the door. I slid it open and stepped in the hallway. I closed the door and started to make my way toward Hiashi-sama's office.

I knocked on Hiashi-sama's office door and waited for a few seconds. I heard movement of cloth on the other side and a muffled voice. I moved to the side and watched as the door swung open. I saw a thin man in lavish red robes walk out of the room. He's face was quite thin with short shiny hair combed over to all one side. I saw him glance at me and lock eyes with me, no doubt because of my mismatched eyes. I heard him scoff and start down closest hallway toward the exit of the Compound. I let the man fade from my mind and I turned toward Hiashi-sama's opened room.

I saw Hiashi-sama sitting in his usual signing papers as usual. I knocked on the open door and saw Hiashi-sama raise his head slightly to look at me. "Ah, Kurai. Good timing." I walked into the room and closed the door behind me. "I take it that you have an answer for me?" I nodded.

"Yes, Hanabi-chan and I think it's fine to move the wedding date." I saw Hiashi-sama nod and start to dig through papers.

"I think that your choice is a wise one. I could not find the elder council attempting anything in the background." That made me feel better. I looked at Hiashi-sama and saw him very focused on the paperwork in front of him. Even though he had his usual stoic face on I could tell something was off.

"Hiashi-sama, something is worrying you." I saw him glance at me before looking back at his paperwork.

"I have no idea what you are talking about Kurai. I am just doing my job." I heard the words but they sounded hollow.

"If you don't speak about it now then the council is going to pick up on it. Better for me to know than anyone else." I saw Hiashi-sama look at me again but did not return his sight to the paperwork. I heard him take a deep breath.

"Kurai, it's not something easy." I had no idea what he was talking about but I was willing to let him speak his mind. "I thought I had so much more time before I lost my daughters but now in three days." I got what he was saying. He thought he had more time with Hanabi-chan. If this was happening with his youngest then he was probably worried about Hinata to.

"Hiashi-sama, you're not losing your daughters. Sure things aren't going to be the same but Hanabi-chan and I are always going to be here at the Compound." I saw Hiashi-sama have a small smile on his face.

"Yes, I know. It's just me being worried as a father. I'm sure you'll learn someday." I felt my cheeks heat up. "Well, are anything else you wish to speak about?" I shook my head.

"No, thank you." I saw Hiashi-sama nod and stood up and started to make his way to the door. I stood up to and followed him. Hiashi-sama opened the door and I walked out of his office.

"Oh, Kurai one more thing?" I turned and looked at Hiashi-sama. "Hurry up and get strong. I want out of this office as soon as possible." I opened my mouth to say something but his closed the door on me.

"What…." I fully processed what he said. "The hell." I shook my head and smiled. Looks like everything was actually starting to come together. I started to make my way toward Hanabi-chan and my room. I felt like bathing before dinner.

I sighed in relief as I stepped into the bedroom. The bath in the Compound was really relaxing for some reason today. I patted the top of my head and felt my still slightly moist hair. This is the life. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes. The image of the man in robed popped in my head. Now that I had a clear head he seemed familiar, or at least the robes. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I heard the door open and I looked over and saw Hanabi-chan. I guess it's been close to an hour and she was getting worried. "Sorry Hanabi-chan I guess I wasn't looking at the time." I saw her shake her head.

"No, it's something else. A new Hokage has been chosen!" I looked at her. Right, Hokage-sama was still in a coma.

"Who is it?" I saw Hanabi-chan look at me worried.

"They haven't announced it to the general public yet but it's someone named Danzo-san." I ran through all the names I knew and couldn't match a face to the name.

"I don't believe I know that name." I saw Hanabi-chan look at me with worry.

"He's just a bad man. He thinks that Konoha should be a war like state." I nodded in understanding. That sounds like something that would only lead to a lot of people being killed in useless battles.

"I agree. However, there is not much we can do is there?" I saw her look down and nod. "We'll play this by ear for now. However, until then let's just focus on the wedding." I saw Hanabi-chan cheer up greatly.

"Yeah, that should be our main focus for now." I saw Hanabi-chan wave to me "Well, I should go help the coordinators. See you in a bit." I waved back.

"Yea." Hanabi-chan closed the door to the room. I walked over to the chair near the window and looked outside. I was worried about this Danzo-san person. I felt Hanabi-chan was fearful when she spoke about him. He's questionable person and now he has a lot of power coming to him. I closed my eyes and sighed. Things just never seem to go right.

It was dark out when I woke up from the door being opened. I silently activated byakugan and turned my vision. I saw it was Hanabi-chan coming in the room. I cut the chakra flow to my eye and acted like I was waking up. "Hmmm, Hanabe-chan? What's up?" I saw Hanabi-chan look at me and just motioned me to the bed as she popped on it. I got up and walked to the bed and laid down next to her.

"I thought training was bad but those coordinates are something else." I lightly laughed at Hanabi-chan. I felt Hanabi-chan latch onto me. "Tomorrow we need to do the rehearsal." I stiffened a little.

"Tomorrow?" I felt Hanabi-chan nod.

"Tomorrow, is that a problem?" I saw Hanabi-chan's pearl white eyes look at me. I shook my head.

"No." I saw Hanabi-chan close her eyes and smile gently.

"Good. Good night Rai-kun." I didn't say anything because I felt Hanabi-chan's breath slow down already. She really was tired. I closed my eyes and smiled.

I looked around the event hall of the Hyuuga clan. It was a huge room that was currently filled with countless tables and decorations for the wedding. Since this was such a large event the entire clan was invited to come and attend, even against the insistence of the elder council, and multiple high status figures, mostly nobles that were going to try and gain favour with the Hyuuga clan. I refocused on the two people near me. Hanabi-chan and the priest that were going to marry us. I leaned over slightly to Hanabi-chan.

"Can I take this off yet?" I saw Hanabi-chan look at me.

"No. You need to get use to a suit. That's why we have the practice suit." I just shook my head and sighed. We had been going over the rehearsal for the wedding for nearly five hours and we were nearly done. I was forced into a suit the first thing in the morning. I wasn't even allowed to have the ryu-sword with me. I looked over to Hiashi-sama and saw him in his normal robes looking at us stoically although I had the feeling that he was laughing at me on the inside. I refocused on the practice.

"With the power of the all mighty I recognize Kurai and Hanabi Hyuuga to be wed. I wish thee a long life with each other and may your children be healthy with strong eyes." I watched as the priest close his book.

"Alright, that's good for today correct?" I looked over to Hanabi-chan and saw her nod.

"Yes, thank you priest-san." I saw the priest bow slightly and made his way to Hiashi-sama. I looked over to Hanabi-chan.

"You feel okay?" I didn't need to ask since I could feel Hanabi-chan was nervous. I was nervous to. Things just didn't seem so real until now. I looked around and saw all of the decorations and groups of people discussing. People who were hired specifically to make sure this went without a hitch. It just seemed so foreign to me almost like I was in an alien world. Even living with the Hyuuga for so long I didn't really get anything near an experience like this.

"Yeah, I'm just a little nervous. You are to." I just nodded slightly as I looked over everything.

"I am." I noticed that most of the practice was over. "Can I take my suit off now?" I looked to Hanabi-chan. I saw her close her eyes and shake her head. She looked at me with a knowing smirk.

"You'll never change Rai-kun. The practice is over so yes." I smiled. I started to make my way out of the ceremony area. I was about to leave before I heard a man cough behind me. I looked back and saw Hiashi-sama behind me.

"Kurai, some anbu just came by and spoke with me." I tensed up. What was going on? I turned to Hiashi-sama.

"What did they want?" I saw Hiashi-sama motion to follow him as he walked past me. I did as told and followed him. We walked for bit before he put a hand on my shoulder and wind whipped around us. When the wind died down we were in his office. Hiashi-sama motioned for me to sit down as he did himself. I sat down and saw Hiashi-sama's desk was clear of paperwork for the first time in years.

"Kurai, I was just told information that ninja from Kumo will be coming to the leaf in a day." I tensed up. What reason did Kumo have to come to the leaf? "I'm sure you heard Danzo was being stated to be the new Hokage until Tsunade recovers." I nodded. "Kumo's Jinchūriki was attacked by Sasuke Uchiha. I believe Kumo wishes to as for the right to kill the Uchiha." I relaxed so they were here for the Uchiha. Wait, Uchiha.

"Does Hinata-san know?" I saw Hiashi-sama shake his head.

"No, so far you are the only one who knows outside of the council and myself." I took a deep breath. If Kumo ninja and Naruto were to meet that could cause some problems. Mostly in the form of the bits of ninja we could send back to Kumo. "Make sure Hinata-san does not learn. She's sure to tell Naruto." I saw Hiashi-sama nod.

"I know Kurai. This isn't the first time I had to keep information from going around." I just nodded. Guess that was true he is the head of the Hyuuga.

"Are we going to do anything?" I saw Hiashi-sama shake his head.

"No. However, I do see what the elders wanted to do. Show Kumo that even after an accident like Pein's attack we still are strong enough to have a wedding." I just leaned back in my seat.

"That's not too bad of something." I saw Hiashi-sama nod. We sat in silence for a bit. My suit was starting to bug me again with the tension gone.

"Also, I have heard rumors that Danzo is going to Tetsu no Kuni for a Kage Summit to see how to deal with the Akatsuki." I nodded.

"That's good. So we'll have backup for when they come for Naruto again." I saw Hiashi-sama stay stoic.

"Maybe, or the Kage may decide to give Naruto to the Akatsuki." I squeezed my hand into a fist.

"They won't. They can't do that."

"They can make the choice but if they have the ability to enforce the choice is an entirely different thing." I saw Hiashi-sama's eyes were steel cold. "Uzumaki-san is the person closest to Hinata's heart. I won't allow that to happen." I smiled at Hiashi-sama while he had a light smirk. "I believe you wanted to get out of that suit Kurai?" I nodded and got up.

"Thank you Hiashi-sama." I walked to the door and swung it open. Things were sure to get interesting in the future.

It was the next day and I couldn't feel comfortable. Knowing that Kumo ninja were in the village made me feel on edge. Earily in the morning I made a shadow clone and made it follow Naruto so if anything happened I could stop them, mostly Naruto. We already finished with practice and I rushed to get my normal gear on.

I got my normal shirt and pants on with my equipment pouch. I clicked the ryu-sword into place and threw my cloak over myself. I grabbed my hitai-ate and slid it over my byakugan. I wanted a edge over the Kumo ninja if they tried anything today. I heard the door to our slide open and I instinctively reached to my pouch. I stopped when I saw it was Hanabi-chan. "Rai-kun… What are you doing?" I relaxed my stance and smiled.

"Nothing. I just was surprised by you that's all." I saw Hanabi-chan look at me with a blank stare. She could easily tell I was lying. "Fine. Yesterday Hiashi-sama told me that there are Kumo ninja in the village today." I felt Hanabi-chan's emotions skyrocket but quickly calmed down. "They are here to discuss Sasuke Uchiha. as he attacked one of Kumo's Jinchūriki." I saw Hanabi-chan nervously. "What I'm worried about is Naruto finding out." I suddenly felt a sudden influx of information. Naruto had just meet the Kumo ninja. "Shit. Naruto found them." Before Hanabi-chan said anything I ran out of the room and rushed out of the Compound.

I saw a Kumo ninja with red hair start to take a swing at Naruto. I jumped in front of the punch and caught the ninja's punch. I saw the other Kumo ninja tense up with my sudden appearance. I looked back at Naruto. "Naruto. Explain. Now." I saw Naruto nod.

"Well these ninja from Kumo are angry at Sasuke and I told them that Sasuke isn't healthy right now. I said that they could take their anger out on me." I saw Naruto's eyes were watery. He really cared about Sasuke. I turned to the Kumo ninja.

"Now, why is a Kumo ninja attacking a Konoha ninja, even if they were told to?" I saw the ninja's fist I was holding bared her teeth at me and glare.

"Who the hell are you even?" I looked directly at the ninja and looked directly in her eyes with my lone uncovered eye.

"I'm a Konoha ninja and his captain." I felt Hanabi-chan's and Hinata-san's chakra closing in. "Now leave." I saw the red haired ninja glare at me.

"Like hell I am." I saw her start to swing her other hand at me. I easily blocked it a simple palm slap to her wrist. I felt another chakra source appear with a shinshun. A blond haired women with a Kumo band appeared.

"Karui, Omoi, let's g.." I guess the women finally saw the situation. I saw her tense up. I quickly spun around the red haired ninja and formed a kunai out ice and put it next to her neck.

"Not so hasty now." I saw everyone was tense. "Look at the situation you caused." I looked at the red haired women only to see her staring at me with wide open eyes.

"Kurai-kun?" I paused. How did she know my name?

"Rai-kun!" I looked up and saw Hanabi-chan and Hinata-san on a tree above us. I looked back at the women I had hostage.

"How do you know my name?" I saw the women start to tear up.

"It's me, Karui." Now that I heard her say her name I felt everything fall into place. This is the girl I left when I visited Kumo all those years ago. I let go of Karui-san and pushed her away. I saw her stumble toward the male Kumo ninja and he caught her. "So you do remember me." I saw her face me. Hanabi-chan jumped and landed next to me.

"Rai-kun who is this women?" Not taking my eye off of Karui-san I thought of the best way to explain who she was.

"This is Karui-san. The one I learned my sword style from." I saw Karui-san tense up.

"Like hell you did. You abandoned me when those ninja caught us." I could feel everyone look at me.

"Yea, I did. But I knew you only for a few hours. What did you expect from a child?" I saw her hands squeezed into fists. I saw the blond woman put a hand on Karui-san's shoulder.

"Let it go Karui, he's not the boy you remember." I saw Karui-san nod slowly. "Team our mission is done." I saw the three Kumo ninja slowly made their way toward the village gate. I saw Karui glance at me once before she was out of sight. I saw her face had tears running down it. I watched as a single tear fell from her face and toward the ground. I froze it and set the frozen tear to follow them. I shifted my hitai-ate back to its normal position as I turned away and looked at everyone.

"Who's hungry?" I saw everyone just look at me. I saw Hanabi-chan step forward.

"Rai-kun, who was that really?" I looked at Hanabi-chan. I eye shifted to Naruto, then to Hinata-san and back to Hanabi-chan.

"What both she and I saw is true." I three just kept looking at me waiting for more. "I went to Kumo as a child. When I arrived Okaa-san told me to find ninja and watch them train so I can learn jutsu. Karui-san found me by surprise and I had her take me to the training fields. We had been caught and Okaa-san told me to leave Karui-san behind. I did just that." I saw everyone take in the information.

"Rai-kun, you could have been nicer to her." I looked to Hanabi-chan.

"Maybe, but she tried to attack Naruto. I wasn't going to let her." I saw Naruto about to say something but I shook my head. "It doesn't matter I did what I did. However, I know why they were questioning you." I saw Naruto look at me. "How did they know you knew about Sasuke?" I saw Hanabi-chan and Hinata-san tense at hearing that name. I saw Naruto shake his head.

"I don't know. They came out of nowhere." I nodded. They must have gotten the information from someone from Konoha. However, that information wasn't exactly secret so it could have been any person with any basic level of clearance.

"Anyone who spent time in Konoha three years ago would have known about Naruto and Sasuke. It could be anyone who told Kumo that." I saw Hinata-san nod.

"It's true." I glanced at Hanabi-chan.

"We should get going Hanabi-chan." I saw Hanabi-chan nod.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow Naruto-san, Onee-chan." I saw Naruto look at us weird.

"Why tomorrow?" Hanabi-chan and I both looked at Hinata-san.

"Hinata-san did you not tell Naruto?" I saw Hinata-san start to poke her fingers.

"Umm. N.. Not yet. I was planning on telling him today." I saw Naruto start to wave his arms around.

"What is it!?" We all looked toward Naruto. I smirked.

"I think we should just let Naruto find out when it happens." I felt a palm against the back of my head. I looked back and saw Hanabi-chan with a open palm.

"Hell no." I saw about to say something but decided that it was better not to. "Onee-chan, please tell Naruto-san before it happens."

"What the hell is it!?"

"Alright, later Hinata-san." I waved to Hinata-san and started to make my way back to the Compound. I turned the corner and felt someone grab my hand. I knew it was Hanabi-chan.

"You owe me." I looked at Hanabi-chan.

"Why?" I saw Hanabi-chan give me a deadpan glare. Right, I just suddenly ran out on her.

"I owe you. What do you want?" I saw Hanabi-chan grin. I knew exactly what she wanted. "Let's go." I felt Hanabi-chan squeeze my hand and started to tug me as she ran towards the bakery shop.

Hanabi-chan and I had been sitting in the bakery for a few hours. Hanabi-chan was busy killing dozens of cinnamon buns. I closed my eyes and start focus on the tear that I froze earlier. I felt that it was still in Konoha. I opened my eyes to see Hanabi-chan toss the a small bit of a bun in her mouth. I saw her look at me. I watched as she took a overly exaggerated swallow. "Is something wrong Rai-kun?" I glanced in the direction of the frozen tear.

"They are still in Konoha." I saw Hanabi-chan give me a weird look.

"Who are?"

"Kumo." I saw her look at me nervously.

"Rai-kun, how do you know that?" I look Hanabi-chan in the eyes.

"I froze some water and had it link to their chakra signature. The ice is still in Konoha." I saw her nod stiffly. I could tell she still had doubts. "What use could those Kumo ninja have to stay in Konoha another day?" I thought what is happening tomorrow. "Hanabi-chan, the wedding." I saw her stiffen.

"Are you saying that they could be sabotaging the wedding?" I shook my head.

"I don't know. But we should figure it. If it is people could get hurt." I saw her nod. We both stood up and walked out of the bakery. They'd know who to bill.

Hanabi-chan and arrived where I felt the iced tear. It ended outside of a average looking hotel. I glanced at Hanabi-chan. "Let's observe from the rooftop of the building over there." I pointed at roof of the building across the hotel. I saw Hanabi-chan nod. We both leaped up to the rooftop. I closed my left eye and focused chakra into my byakugan. I saw my vision shift from colour to black and white with small mixtures of blue flames. I focused past the chakras that I knew where not the Kumo ninjas. "You see them?"

"No." We went back into silence as we scanned the entirety of the hotel. I scanned over the rooms again and saw nothing that was close to their chakras.

"They're not in their rooms." I let the chakra flow to my byakugan stop as I opened my left eye. I looked over to Hanabi-chan and saw the veins around her eyes decrease until they were gone.

"I agree. Must be in some other section of the hotel that we can't see." I figured out where they were. I looked at Hanabi-chan and saw her nod.

"Bathroom?"

"Bathroom." I sighed and sat down on the edge of the roof so that my legs were hanging off. I watched as Hanabi-chan sat with much more dignity folding her legs and sitting a little farther back from the edge.

"How long do you say they are going to be in there?" I saw Hanabi-chan shrug.

"How should I know?" I just sighed and looked up at the light blue sky.

"I was just wondering." We let silence fall between us. It was nice just to have some quiet time, especially with everything that had been going on. After a few minutes Hanabi-chan ended up leaning against me with her legs dangling over the edge with mine.

It had been close to ten minutes and nothing noticeable changed. Just to see what was going on I let some chakra flow into my byakugan just in case. I scanned each room one by one for the Kumo ninja's chakra. I saw two chakras that were very similar, one so similar that it had to be Karui's chakra. I focused on the two more to try to see what they were talking about. Guess this is where Hyuuga lip reading training was going to come in handy.

"I still don't understand why we are still here. We should be out searching for the traitor Uchiha and..." I saw the blond woman shake her head at Karui.

"Raikage-sama told us that there is a Hyuuga wedding happening tomorrow and he wants us to be there to wish the couple a good life." I saw Karui start to pace around the room.

"Why should Raikage-sama care about two Hyuuga getting married?"

"It's the Hyuuga's main family youngest daughter." I saw the blond women grab some type of paper from her bag. I tried to read it but the handwriting was too bad and it was too far. "Geez, his handwriting is still terrible. Let's see. It says Hanabi Hyuuga is the bride and the groom is Kurai Hyuuga. Huh, that seems familiar." I saw Karui stop dead in her tracks.

"Kurai. Could it be the guy from my childhood? One eyed guy from earlier that held a ice kunai to my neck." I saw Karui rub her neck.

"No way. It has to be a coincide." I stopped the flow of chakra to my eye. I had what information I needed. I noticed that time had passed quickly as the sun was starting to set colouring everything in orange. I looked over and saw Hanabi-chan was half asleep. I gently shook her back to consciousness. I watched as she yawned and looked around.

"Rai-kun? What's going on? Did they come back?" I nodded.

"Yea, but I know what's going on. I'll tell you when we go to sleep tonight. It's nothing bad." I saw her nod and look at me sleepily.

"Carry me." I looked at Hanabi-chan as she pulled herself into my lap. I just shook my head and picked her up princess style.

"I suppose I should get some practice for tomorrow." I saw Hanabi-chan blush. Add the sleepy look in her eyes and it was actually really cute. I tensed up and released as I jumped from the roof to the next. Before I went to sleep I needed to check something with Hiashi-sama.

I opened the door to our room as quietly as I could. I brought Hanabi-chan to the bed and gently set her down. I heard her groan a little but quieted down. I slowly made my way out of the room. I closed the door and looked down the hallway towards Hiashi-sama's office.

I quickly made my way to Hiashi-sama's office and knocked on the door. "Enter." I opened the door and closed the door. I looked to Hiashi-sama and saw him looking at me expectantly. "I hope you're not here to cancel the wedding. It's a little late for that." I shook my head.

"No. I'm not thinking about canceling. However, it does have to deal with the wedding." I saw Hiashi-sama put away the paper he had been working on. "What are the Hyuuga to do with Kumo ninja?" I saw Hiashi-sama's eyes harden.

"They are ordered to not allow any Kumo ninja into the Compound even if they have to kill. Why?" I sighed.

"Does the Raikage know this?"

"Yes."

"So you're not aware that three Kumo ninja are going to visit the Compound tomorrow during the wedding?" I saw Hiashi-sama's eyes widen. Quite a reaction from such a stoic man. I saw him quickly school his features.

"No. I should have gotten that information from the elder council though." I put a hand on my forehead.

"That's what they are trying to do." I saw Hiashi-sama nod. They were trying to get Hiashi-sama and Raikage in a fight. They wanted accelerate the date of the wedding so Kumo ninja were in Konoha for another reason than just the wedding. Hide the information from Hiashi-sama that the Kumo ninja are coming and have the guards and Kumo ninja argue or even fight. The Raikage saying that his ninja were allowed to enter and were stopped unjustly and Hiashi-sama saying that he never agreed to something like that.

"Thank you for your information Kurai. I will make sure that the guards will know of the arrival of three Kumo ninja. Any description?" I nodded my head.

"Two women, one man. The man having white short hair. One women with long blond hair. The other with red hair. That should be enough for them to figure it out." I saw Hiashi-sama write something down, probably the discription. "If that is all, I should return to Hanabi-chan. We do have a big day tomorrow." I saw Hiashi-sama nod his head.

"Yes you two do. Dismissed." I opened the door to Hiashi-sama's office and closed it. I started to make my way toward the room. Yea, tomorrow is sure going to be a big day.

"Rai-kun wake up." I cracked my eyes open and saw Hanabi-chan standing in front of me in her underwear. I felt my cheeks heat up. I sat up and looked out of the window. Even the sun wasn't awake yet because it was still dark outside.

"Hanabi-chan, why are you like that?"

"Do you not remember?" I got out of the bed and stretched a little.

"No I completely forgot what we are doing today. Was it to go get your haircut?" I saw Hanabi-chan just glare at me. "Okay, bad joke. But why so early?" I watched as Hanabi-chan folded her arms.

"Because I have to get in the dress and it takes awhile. Now." She threw some black clothes. I looked at the clothes and saw it was a tuxedo. "Out." Before I even got to say a word she shoved me out of the room.

"What the hell. I don't even have any normal clothes." I looked at the tuxedo I had in my hands. I couldn't help but sigh. I heard some footsteps coming. I looked toward the sound and saw Onee-sama.

"Oh, Kurai-kun, what are you doing?" I just held up the tuxedo.

"Hanabi-chan kicked me out. Saying that her dress takes a long time to put on." I saw Onee-sama nod.

"It's true. I'm actually going to help her along with Hinata-san." I felt the previous annoyance I had leave. I heard more footsteps coming.

"Well, I think I'll go annoy Naruto then." I saw Onee-sama nod and knock on the door.

"Hanabi-chan, I'm here to help." I figured it would be better to go. I started to make my way out of the Compound. I just hope Hanabi-chan would be okay without me being around for longer than an hour.

I arrived at Naruto's apartment and knocked on the door. I heard nothing from the other side. I sighed. I should have figured that Naruto would still asleep. Looking around I saw that even most stands were still not open or were just getting started. I knocked on Naruto's door again. I knew he wasn't going to answer but I needed to try at least. After not hearing anything again I remembered my pouch since I had a key to Naruto's apartment in there. I reached for my pouch when I felt nothing but air. I looked and saw that I was still in the clothes I slept in. Hanabi-chan was in such a hurry that I couldn't get any new clothes except the tuxedo.

I looked at Naruto's door with it's aging paint and sighed. I wasn't going to be able to get inside anytime soon without breaking down the door or at minimum breaking the lock. I looked past the balcony and saw that the sun was just now breaking past the horizon. I didn't really have anywhere else to go except here. The rest of the Compound was either asleep or busy with the wedding. I put my back against Naruto's door and folded my arms. I watched as slowly more and more people started to walk by. I closed my eyes and sent some chakra to my byakugan. I looked past Naruto's door and saw two chakra sources in his apartment.

One in the bed and another behind the closet doors. I knew that the clone in the normal bed was a kage bunshin. I focused on the real Naruto. I saw him snoring away without a care in the world. Thinking about things I could do to wake him up I thought about trying to drop water on him but doing so through walls could be dangerous. I stopped focusing on Naruto and focused my vision on his bunshin. That could work. I focused on forming a cube of ice above the clone. It was very slow process since my chakra had to travel quite a bit of distance.

After a few minutes I had a rough looking cube of ice floating above the bunshin. I stopped the chakra making the cube float and saw it land on the bunshin's face. I saw as the bunshin woke up with a surprise and suddenly popped. I heard a crashing sound and looking to where the real Naruto was sleeping to see him standing with a rasengan in one hand and a kunai in the other. I watched as he looking around the room searching for the reason that his bunshin had popped. When he saw the cube of ice in his bed the rasengan dissipated into nothing and the kunai was haphazardly tossed onto his dresser. I saw him look directly at me even through the walls. I saw him open his mouth and form three words. I. Hate. You. I couldn't help but laugh as I stopped the flow of chakra to my byakugan. After ten seconds I heard the door unlocking and Naruto stepping out of his door in his normal jumpsuit. I saw him attempting to burn a hole through me with his glare. I couldn't help but smile. "What?"

"I really hate you." I saw Naruto start to stretch.

"You going to train even today?" I saw Naruto nod. I looked at my attire once more. My clothes weren't too bad for a light training session before the start of the wedding. "What time is it?" I saw Naruto glance at me.

"About four." I nodded so I had three hours until I had to be back. Two hours to train and one hour to clean up, get the tuxedo one and get back. Maybe less. I looked in the direction of the Compound. I shook my mind of any negative thoughts.

"Alright. How about you and me do some light training, a few laps around the village?" I saw Naruto look at me and give a gigawatt smile.

"Sure." I saw Naruto leap off the balcony railing onto the next buildings rooftop. "Come on. I know the perfect starting spot." I nodded and leaped after Naruto.

Naruto and I finished our laps around the village with just a little over an hour to spare, just like I planned. We went into his apartment and I saw him go into the kitchen, no doubt to get his daily fill of ramen since the wedding was not going to serve any. "Hey, Naruto I'm going to go wash up real quick." I heard the clicking of the gas stove.

"Alright." I went toward the bathroom and got ready for this day.

I stood out of the Compound. For some reason it felt a lot more intimidating than before. I took a deep breath and stilled my nervousness. I walked forward and saw the four elite guards look at me. I saw all four activate their byakugan.

"Clear." I saw the three other guards nod. The leader of the squad bowed to me. "Welcome Kurai-sama." I felt a little uncomfortable with how formal he was speaking to me already. Today is going to be a long day. "Please make your way to the event hall." I nodded and made my way into the Compound as the guards opened and slammed the door behind me.

I looked around and saw the usual surrounds of the Compound that I was use to seeing everyday but today. Today I felt like I was seeing an entirely new reality that still seemed like fantasy. I heard the door open again behind me and I glanced back. I saw Naruto in a black tuxedo with a orange bowtie. I couldn't help but crack a grin at that. Beside him with her arms linked with his was Hinata-san in a light purple sundress. It was the outfit that the Hanabi-chan along with Onee-sama and Hinata-san picked. "Naruto I understand coming in but Hinata-san?" I saw Hinata-san blush lightly.

"I wanted to walk into the Compound with Naruto-kun, we're a couple and if what we know is true I will have to walk into the Compound." I nodded while Naruto even blushed a little.

"W..Well Hinata-chan should we get going?" I saw Hinata-san nod.

"We'll see you in a bit Kurai-kun." I saw the two start to make their way toward the event hall. It was probably bursting with people. I took a deep breath and started to make my way toward the event hall and my future.

I entered the event hall and saw the entire room, even as huge as it was, go completely silent. I looked around and saw multiple tables with people that I had never seen before. I started to make my way down the long carpeted walkway toward the priest.

As I made my way I started to see people that I knew slightly more and more the closer I got. There were three tables that were closet.

The first had the Kumo ninja. I saw all three staring at me wide eyed. The most notable reaction was from Karui. Her eyes were watering. Guess even after all this time she held some belief that I cared for her in some way. Continuing at my same pace, I turned to them and smiled making sure to show them my byakugan. I heard Karui take a sharp breath. I did not have any feelings for the women and wanted to show her that I was Hanabi-chan's.

I moved on and saw that the next table had Hanabi-chan's family at it. I saw Hiashi-sama sitting with a empty spot next to him. The place was set. I figured it was for his wife. I made eye contact with him and I gave a slight bow. On the other side of the table was a older women and next to her was Neji-san. I saw that he was wearing the traditional Hyuuga clothes that he usually wore only without a his hitai-ate, showing off the bird cage seal. I then noticed the women next to him had the same seal.

Wondering where Hinata-san was, I tore my eyes away from the horrid seal and looked to the last table. I saw Naruto sitting there directly sitting next to him was Hinata-san with who was trying to cover her mouth from laughter. Across from them was Onee-sama who was chuckling herself with a single hand on her belly.

I looked away knowing the truth of her child and looked back at the aged priest. He stank of age and the clothing that he wore hung loose on his thin skeleton-like body. I ignored it and stood near him waiting for Hanabi-chan to walk in.

I heard music start and I nearly jumped. I looked around and saw a large band that I somehow missed while I was looking around. I heard the swing open of doors and saw two women in dresses just like Hinata-san's walk in with flowers in their hands. I forgot to breath when I saw the person behind them. Hanabi-chan walked in and I couldn't believe my eyes.

She was wearing a pure white kimono. Her hair was tied into a bun on top of her head held in by a white flower. I watched as she took step after step with absolute perfection that only her training allowed her to do. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as her guards split off in opposite directions and bowed as she passed them. It was obvious that Hanabi-chan had to practice much more than me. I watched as she made the final few steps and stood next to me. I stared at her and, as practiced, grabbed her hand. We both turned toward the priest and the band stopped the music. I cleared my throat and recited the words in my head one last time.

"Priest-san, I Kurai Hyuuga wish to take Hanabi Hyuuga as my own." I didn't like the words that had to be spoken for this ceremony. Making Hanabi-chan sound like an object, but I had to deal with it. I watched the priest nod and look toward Hanabi-chan.

"Does Hanabi Hyuuga disagree with the claim to be Kurai Hyuuga's?" I saw Hanabi-chan shake her head, the flower moving in perfect sync with her.

"No, I do not disagree with Kurai Hyuuga's claim." I saw the priest nod.

"Does the family of Kurai Hyuuga disagree with the claim made?" No sound was heard. Not like I had much family to disagree with it in the first place. "Does the family of Hanabi Hyuuga disagree with the claim made?" Again I heard no sounds from the room.

I saw the priest nod and move toward us. He stood before us and grabbed our linked hands. He pulled our hands apart and moved to the other side of us. We turned to face him again as he turned to face us again, with us facing the entire event hall. "Wedded please turn to each other." I did as he told. I faced Hanabi-chan and she faced me. "Please hold each other's hands." I held out my hands and Hanabi-chan slipped her fingers between mine. "Will you Kurai Hyuuga will you protect Hanabi Hyuuga from all attacks, be them physical or otherwise?"

"I do."

"Will you Hanabi Hyuuga give Kurai Hyuuga your life, to support him and raise children with him?"

"I do."

I saw the priest nod and turn toward the event hall "In the case of Kurai Hyuuga's claim of Hanabi Hyuuga no disagreements have been made. With the power of the all mighty I recognize Kurai and Hanabi Hyuuga to be wed. I wish thee a long life with each other and may your children be healthy with strong eyes."

With that the priest made his way down the long carpet walkway. No sound being made other than his footsteps. He opened the doors to the event hall and walked out. The doors to the hall slammed closed. Suddenly cheering erupted all around me. I saw as the hundreds of people stood up and clapped for us. I looked around and saw only one table that was not clapping. The Kumo ninja were surrounding Karui who looked like she was crying, pretty hard from the looks of it.

I threw the thoughts of the women away as I turned toward Hanabi-chan, no just Hanabi. "Looks like we're going to have an interesting future." I saw Hanabi nod. "Oh, and you look beautiful in that kimono by the way." I saw Hanabi blushed but quickly schooled it. I saw her turn to say something but someone jumped up to us. I looked to Naruto questionably.

"Yes Naruto?" I saw him glance at both of us.

"Come on, it's getting boring with you two just standing there." I couldn't help but cracking a smile at Naruto. I saw a figure appear behind Naruto and grab his jacket from behind. I watched as Hinata-san, nope, Onee-san started to pull Naruto away. I turned toward Hanabi.

"Well, I suppose it's time to get the party going, although being the Hyuuga I'm not expecting much." I saw Hanabi smirk at me.

That was one hell of a party. Whoever said that the Hyuuga clan were all stuck up had never been to a wedding. I saw the entire event hall dancing, be it foreigner or Hyuuga, main branch or not, together like it was the end of the world. The addition of mass quantities of alcohol may have helped with that situation though.

Luckily the entire clan was going to help clean up the mess of the event hall the next morning, with the exception of Hanabi and I. It was late though and Hanabi and I were still up with Naruto and Onee-san. Hiashi-sama and Onee-sama both went to bed just a little bit earlier. I saw Onee-san and Naruto were quite close now, especially since Onee-san was leaning against Naruto. The funny part was that Hanabi was doing the same as me. The four of us didn't really have much to discuss so we sat in the quiet hall. I saw Naruto yawn which spooked Onee-san to fully awake. "I think I should get going." I saw Naruto stand up and stretch. I saw Onee-san stand with him.

"I think I'll follow you out Naruto-kun." I saw the two make their way out of the hall. Pretty much leaving me alone with Hanabi. I looked over to Hanabi and saw her smiling nervously.

"Rai…"

"Yes Hanabi?" I saw Hanabi blush.

"I'm a little tired. Do you wish to go?" I started to wonder why Hanabi was being so passive and nervous but just thought it was just her being more tired than I thought.

"Sure." I got up and held out my hand and helped Hanabi out of her seat. We made our way out of the event hall. We walked down the hallways hand in hand. The entire Compound was silent which was a huge difference from what I had been experiencing for the last hours.

We got to the door to our room. I slid it open and moved so Hanabi could walk in. She did and I followed and closed the door to the room. Suddenly I was hit by a huge amount of tension. I looked over to Hanabi and saw her standing near the bed. I moved past her and started to take off the stuffy suit. I got of the jacket and tie with ease. "Rai." I stopped taking off my shirt and turned toward Hanabi. I saw that she had removed her kimono and was lying in the bed only in her underwear.

"Hanabi, what are you..." I saw her sit up and stare at me.

"We are married now Kurai. Am I ugly?" I felt that Hanabi was honestly hurt by my choice of words.

"Hanabi, you're the beautiful women in the world." I saw Hanabi smile.

"That's so cliche." I sighed and shook my head. I removed my shirt and went to grab the shirt I sleep in. I heard Hanabi get off the bed. Before I could think I felt Hanabi hug me from behind. "Kurai, please no more running away." I removed Hanabi's hands from around me and turned around.

I saw Hanabi standing in front of me in her underwear, I could tell she was embarrassed but pushed past it. I looked into her eyes and saw that she really did love me. As I started into her eyes I felt the last bit of the darkness of my past break away.

She was right. Why was I still trying to run away from someone who spent so many years of her life with me. Someone who could have anybody she wanted. Someone who could be considered a princess was willing to wait for me. To marry me. I had the no right to keep anything from her anymore.

I looked down to Hanabi and gave her a kiss. I stopped the kiss and looked down to Hanabi's pure white eyes. "Hanabi you're right. I. I won't run away." I kissed Hanabi again. Tonight everything didn't matter to me except Hanabi.

I heard a heavy knocking on the door. I tried to ignore the sound and get more warmth from Hanabi. I heard the knocking again even heavier this time. I opened my eyes and saw Hanabi in front of me still asleep from last night. I got up and, making sure the covers kept Hanabi's decency, and put on clothes to make myself to look decent. I heard the knocking again. "I'm coming." I swung open the door and saw Onee-san standing there. I saw her look around the room and suddenly go beet red.

"I… Is th..is a b...bad t..t..time?" Why was Onee-san acting so weird. I looked back at Hanabi and saw why. She had moved in her sleep uncovering her naked form. I felt my entire body go stiff as I slowly turned toward Onee-san.

"L… Let's step outside." I saw Onee-san nod and move so I could step out. I stepped out of the bedroom and closed the door behind me. I coughed in some feeble attempt to break the awkward atmosphere. "S.. So, what brings you here?"

"Well, b... breakfast is ready and Otou-san asked me to get you." I nodded my head.

"Right, um, we'll be out in a bit." I saw Onee-san nod and start to make her way toward the private dining area. I turned around and opened the door to the bedroom. The very first thing I saw was a fully covered Hanabi. I felt my eye twitch in frustration. I shook my head and made my way toward Hanabi.

I reached the bed and shook her lightly. "Hanabi, breakfast is ready." I heard Hanabi mumble something and wrap the covers tighter around herself. I shook her again a lot rougher. "Hanabi, it's time to get up." I saw Hanabi's eyes slowly open and look at me.

"Why are you wearing clothes?" I saw Hanabi slowly get up. "Wait, was it just…" I saw her trail off until she noticed her state of dress, or more accurately undress. I saw Hanabi start to blush. "Last night happened?" I nodded.

"Yea, the only reason I'm up is because Onee-san came by to say breakfast is ready." I saw Hanabi's eyes squint.

"Onee-san?"

"Hinata." I saw Hanabi nod in understanding. "However, we had to talk outside of the room since you decided to have a sudden hated toward covers at that moment." I saw Hanabi's half asleep brain slowly add everything together.

"Oh." I saw Hanabi start to rub her head. "Yeah, great way to start this morning." I watched as she got up and stretched, not caring about her nude form in front of me, and made her way toward the closet. I noticed that she looked different than last night, but I couldn't figure out what it was. "Come on let's get dressed." I nodded and made my way toward the closet.

I put on my normal gear on while Hanabi did the same. I looked toward Hanabi and still saw that something was different about her even though she was wearing clothes that were normal for her. I shook off whatever it was and made my way toward the door. "You ready Hanabi?" I saw Hanabi pat her equipment pouch and nod toward me.

"Yep." I opened the door and stepped out of our room. I left the door open and heard it close a second later. I looked back and saw Hanabi step next to me. I grabbed her hand and linked our fingers together. I gave her a small smile which she returned before we schooled our features and made our way toward the dining area.

I opened the door to the dining area and saw something surprising. Hiashi-sama being visually irritated looking directly at the other surprise. Naruto, who was sweating, sitting right next to Onee-san. I saw Naruto look directly at me and give me a look of pleading. I made my way into the dining hall along with Hanabi and we sat down at our usual spots.

We all sat in silence as Hiashi-sama kept his vision directed at Naruto. After almost a full minute of dead silence I heard Hiashi-sama move and readjust his seat. "So, Hinata, could you please explain why Uzumaki-san is with us this morning?" I saw Onee-san jump at being suddenly called upon.

"Well, um, it was late by the time Naruto-kun was going to leave so I offered for him to stay the night." I saw Onee-san take a deep breath and Naruto gave a huge fake smile and rub the back of his head. I saw him about to speak but I shook my head slightly. I saw him slam his mouth shut.

"Just make sure this does not happen again while you two are dating." I saw the two blush and nod in sync. I saw Hiashi-sama look like he was about to call for the food when I saw his eyes shift suddenly toward Hanabi and me. "Hanabi, Kurai, would you like to explain to me why Hanabi has a slight glow to her." I stiffened. That's what was different about Hanabi.

I started to rack my brain for a reason but was coming up blank. I felt a cold sweat start. I saw Hiashi-sama then smirk. "I am joking of course. I know the reason why." I felt relief for one second before I fully processed what he said. I saw Hiashi-sama's byakugan flare as he stared at me. I started to look for a way to run but noticed there were none. I swallowed and look directly at Hiashi-sama.

Before anything was said I saw the veins reside and Hiashi-sama smirk. "Otou-san was correct. It is fun messing around with my future sons-in-law." He was messing with us. That sneaky bastard. I thought he was legitimately angry. I felt my whole body relax with that over. "Now, let's begin."

After that odd breakfast, the four of us made our way out of the dining area and into the main courtyard. I saw multiple groups of Hyuuga speaking to each other. The air had a pleasant royal-like feel to it. As we made our way through the yard I noticed some subtle glances from the Hyuuga, I had no idea if it was because of Hanabi and I or because of how close Naruto and Onee-san was.

We arrived at the entrance of the Compound. I saw Naruto and Onee-san open the door to the Compound. Before they took a step though an anbu. I saw his masked head look at the four of us. "Team Marai." I tensed at hearing our team name. We should still be off duty since Hanabi and I just got married. "Hokage-sama has requested your presence immediately." I didn't really care about what Danzo-san wanted.

"What does Danzo-san want." I saw the anbu tense. Was it against the law to call him that?

"Did you not hear? Danzo-san was labeled a traitor after he ran from the kage summit in Tetsu no Kuni when Sasuke Uchiha attacked." I saw Naruto tense for a second before Onee-san put a hand over his. "Kakashi-san was going to be elected Hokage but Tsunade-sama awoke before hand." I nodded at the information.

"So why does Hokage-sama need us? Our team should still have time off." I saw the anbu shake his head.

"No, all squads have been called." I saw the anbu look directly at me. "War has been declared."
