It was cold... and dark. It was pressing in on the teen, everywhere. He hated it.
The door opened, and light filtered through, only for a few seconds though. The door shut again, and a voice cut through the darkness, razor sharp like knives.
"You fight me bitch, and I'll make sure it's the last thing you ever do." The teen shivered, and flinched when he felt a hand on his cheek.
"Mmm... I can see what Caspian was talking about... just your skin feels good. Can't wait to see what I'm really screwing with." The man purred, and the boy flinched when his companion leaned in, lips just behind his ear, inhaling deeply, "Smell good too. What about how you feel, huh?"
The teen didn't have a chance to respond, because the man was already ripping his clothes off. The teen felt tears slide down his cheeks.
"Please..." He whispered, helplessly, "Don't do this..."
"Shut up!" The teen cried out in pain as his assailant slapped him across the face, "I was guaranteed a submissive thing! And I won't take any form of rebellion!"
The teen wisely didn't say another word, but the tears still stained his cheeks as the man continued in his assult.
God... He prayed, Please, just end this torture for me...
Lucas' scream tore through the entire apartment, jerking Wales awake down the hall, who stumbled out of bed and to his brother's room. When he was able to turn the light on, he watched his brother flail and thrash in his sleep for a moment, before reaching out.
"Lucas! Lucas, wake up! It's just a nightmare!" Wales said, shaking his younger brother by the shoulders. He grunted as a set of nails raked at his eyes, before grabbing the other's wrists and pinning them down in one hand, still shaking his brother in an attempt to wake him up.
"Lucas! LUCAS! LUCAS!" Wales shouted.
His voice finally seemed to cut through the night terror his brother was experiencing, because Lucas snapped awake, a low scream on his lips, "Wales?"
"Yeah, it's okay. Just me..." Wales panted, trying to catch his breath from the struggle.
"W- what happened?" Lucas asked, weakly.
Wales pushed off his brother, letting him go, "Nightmare."
Lucas curled in on himself, putting his head between his knees and holding his head between his hands, as though he were trying to block out something. He began rocking back and forth a little.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Wales asked after a while, unable to see his brother suffer.
"Y- you'll flip out... get angry... unreachable... unable to talk too." Lucas continued to rock back and forth.
"But it's not good to keep all of this bottled up inside you, either." Wales pointed out, and sat down on the edge of the bed.
Lucas looked up, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Wales..." Lucas whimpered.
Wales held his arms out, "Come here."
Lucas lurched forwards, arms wrapping around his brother's ribcage and sobbing into his chest. Wales wrapped his own arms around his brother's shaking form, hushing him.
"It's okay... everything's fine... I'm right here." Wales murmured, softly.
Lucas just continued to sob, only grateful his brother was there for him.
When Wales' phone rang the next morning, and it was Kuro's number, the lawyer answered with a snappy, "If you've called to ask me and Lucas to come down to the station so you can interview him again, forget it. He had a nightmare last night and I'm sure as hell not about to put him through another torturous interrogation."
"I just called to tell you, that yesterday's interview was Julian's orders. Good bye." The line went dead.
Wales cursed, and quickly dialed another number.
"Julian Konzern speaking, how may I help you-" Julian was cut off on answering his office phone.
"You son of a bitch! I told you I wasn't going to have Lucas help you find Nero, and you ignored me damn it! Thanks to you, he had two nightmares last night!" Wales' voice snarled over the line.
Julian jerked the phone from his ear, letting Wales go on his rant, before putting it back to his ear and asking, "You done yet?"
"Damn you, no! You have any idea what yesterday's interview stirred up in Lucas' memory! Things he'd like to forget!"
"Wales, I can explain-"
"Julian, I don't want you in my apartment, or the building for the next few weeks. And if you ignore this warning, I promise you, I'll get a restraining order against you, got it?"
Julian sighed, "Yes."
"Good." The line went dead.
