Happy New Year! It's finally 2015 and it's time for the first official chapter of the year. I thank you so much to all of you who have voiced your positive reviews and continue reading this story, also to those who have discovered and added the story to their favorites or alerts. Chapter 20 was filled with mixed emotions and opinions and I totally embrace the fact that you guys can tell me your thoughts about it but I would also like to address that I will not accept comments that degrade the story. I do this story out of the love I have for the theme and characters and I know that my writing is not the best but I'm learning and like I've said before this website gives us the chance of limitless options. So I encourage doing so for those of you that don't like the story but please don't leave messages that will only waste your time knowing that you could invest it reading something that you do enjoy.
I love the reviews and constructive criticism but I will not tolerate for some people to come in and try to destroy something that I have put my heart in and that other people have appreciated. That's why for each review I get I would like to personally thank every single one of you for the feedback and for also supporting this journey.

Chapter 21
Change is here
Three weeks later
"She's precious" I said holding my new goddaughter.
"Luciana was tired of being in mommy's belly and decided to get here sooner than later" Jacob laughed.
"Ten fingers and ten toes" I commented since the important thing was that she was happy and healthy.
Luciana Marie Garcia was born two weeks before her official birthday but was as cute as a button. She had her daddy's black hair and her mommy's angel complexion. She came as a total surprise since the majority of the family didn't even make it to the birth only my parents and Jacob's parents who were in town.
"Too bad I missed the birth" I said touching the baby's silky cheek
"Don't worry about it Bells, what's important is that you're here now to see her" Sarah looked amazing given by the fact that she had just given birth less than 24 hours ago.
The only people left in the hospital room were us three and my two other sisters. I had come rushing from the airport since I was in New York for business with Edward when I got the call and made him get his jet ready for an emergency flight home.
It was moments like these that made me feel at peace in a chaotic world like mine, to just put my feet on the ground and hold a newborn baby.
"When can you leave?" I inquired
"I am cleared for release tomorrow but I want to make sure that everything is alright with Lucy before we take her home" she looked at the tiny baby I was holding.
"Your mom must be jumping with joy getting everything ready at the house" Mrs. Garcia was waiting her whole life for this moment.
"I almost didn't get her to hand me the baby" he laughed "but I can't say anything since she has insisted to stay with us two weeks and I think we are going to need all the help we can get with this little diva"
"A diva just like mommy" Sarah smiled. I was so happy for this new chapter in their lives.
The door opened again but it wasn't my sisters who were in the cafeteria but my husband carrying a bouquet of flowers and pink balloons to add to the dozens that were already located in the corner.
"Congratulations! Your little girl was definitely a pleasant surprise" he put down the presents and gave a bear hug to Jacob and Sarah.
"Thank you for the presents and beautiful flowers" Sarah expressed her gratitude.
I didn't want to make him the center of attention since I was already busy soaking us the smells and loveliness of this baby girl.
"You look great Sarah but can I just say how beautiful my wife looks holding a baby" he didn't waste time to give me a longing kiss on the lips and touched the baby's hat covered head with his big hands.
"Luciana, I'm your uncle Edward and you have to be in my top four list of most gorgeous women, which include my wife, my mom, my niece Claire and now you.
"Your uncle Edward knows his way with words Lucy so don't you be fooled by his good lucks and height' Jacob commented.
"He sure does" I coldly whispered under my breath but being so close to Edward right now, he was the only one who heard it.
"Bella don't act like this right now" he whispered back.
Seeing the baby made my heart fluttered but seeing Edward right now just made my heart pissed off. We were now on our ride home from the hospital.
"Love, I am trying to please you anyway I can. Why are you so upset of me being a part of your dad's company?" he asked
"Because I don't want you to be a part of my father's company" I crossed my arms in spite and even more now since Parker Technologies and the Grimaldi Corporation were the only companies anyone could talk about, making Edward even more popular than he was before.
"I'm sorry that the only things you can see on the streets are your dad's and I on newspapers but the companies are growing and some people are interested…"
"I don't want to hear it" I lifted my hand.
"Don't be upset with me love" he parked the car and we entered the house but he was quick to grab me and hold me against him.
"Sell it" I said seductively "Selling your part of the company would make me very happy" I pulled on his tie and kissing his jaw and lips.
"You know I can't do that amore" he breathed
"Then I don't want to hear anything you have to say" I turned on my heels and walked up the stairs.
He was shouting my name for attention as i ran into Debbie on my way to the room.
"Oh sweetheart how did it go?" she had been carrying some sheets.
"It went great and Lucy is absolutely beautiful. We have to go to their house so you can meet her"
"Of course" she said getting distracted by Edward frustrated voice.
"What's wrong?"
"He is just upset he can't get what he wants" I said calmly "can you please get the guestroom ready?"
"Again?" poor Debbie was caught in another crossfire.
"No!" Edward came running up.
"I am going to cook dinner" she hurried out of the hallway and I just walked into our room.
"I am not going to sleep in the guestroom when I have a king size bed that can accommodate my size!"
"This is my house and I can do whatever I want, just like how you can do whatever you want with Parker Technologies" I shut the door in his face.
Edward Pov
With all the success coming from both the Grimaldi Corporation and Parker Technologies, Bella wasn't giving me a second to breath. It's been almost three months since that fateful day that I lost all of my wife's trust in me and I was still in the doghouse for my mistakes. The relationship was definitely different and I hated it, I quickly learned that it wasn't enough with the heartfelt apologies and pleading knees.
The changes in Bella were starting from her physical aspect being that she was already gorgeous before but with the new hair and working out almost every single day of the week, she was becoming even more irresistible which worried me since other men perceived the change as well.
She was clearly no longer the naïve and innocent girl that I met and married, she was now very confident and very aware about her surroundings. Taken by the fact that I am trying to please her with whatever she asks of me.
I have now admitted that to being a total monster for obligating her to stay with me after all that I've made her go through with the lies and secrecy's. Even though in her eyes our parents were the masterminds for this business merger, I was still the man that agreed to everything they said and went through with it all because I wanted Parker Technologies. Now I had the two most powerful private owned companies in the world under my command but had blindly sacrificed the loving affection from the woman I loved and to top it all off she didn't want to have my child.
I needed to show her that I would make my life's work to make it up to her for every pain and tear I had caused her. Of course pleasing her with everything she wanted wasn't going to be easy task since the only thing she wanted was for me to sell my stock of Parker Technologies and I totally negated her, which left me sleeping alone on the small guest bed.
I was a man on probation.
Two weeks have gone by since that last fight and now I had to bring Bella to agree on something that had been planned and that involved the two sets of people she didn't want to see at all.
"So I can pick any car I want?" Bella questioned
"Yes, it's my gift to you baby, plus I think it's time to change some of my models" I said kissing her hand.
"Do you or dad really need another car?" Kate said from the back.
"I feel like it's already a mistake bringing you. Today's my anniversary and I need to share it with my wife not my annoying sister" I snickered but was quickly put in place by my wife heated stare.
"You're just jealous because dad really values my opinion to choose his new car since I'm his little girl" I saw her mischievous smirk through the mirror.
Bella laughed.
It was so refreshing hearing her laughter when it was becoming so rare around me.
"Bella I really want to rob your bag"
"I know that your well capable of doing that but don't be surprised if you see the police at your doorstep" she smiled.
Kate was spellbound by my wife's new Birkin handbag something I learnt of in Kate's ten minute lecture about the most famous bag in the world.
"I would sell my whole wardrobe to have one of these, mom has the full collection but I can only borrow them if I ask"
"You can sell your entire One Direction memorabilia and still end up owing" I remarked
"Ha-ha very funny I don't even listen to them butthead"
We arrived at the car dealer with seconds on the clock before I decided to throw Kate out of the car and make her walk here instead.
"Edward! How are you my man?" one of the two owners greeted us.
"I'm good Amir" we shook hands and hugged.
"Bella…" he hailed
"Nice to see you Amir" They did the double kiss on the cheek which was the appropriate Persian way to greet.
"Amir, you know Bella but this is my little sister Kate" he received her with a kiss as well.
"So where is Cyrus?" I asked since he was the second owner of the place and blood brother to Amir.
"He's finishing with some paper work to join us so you told on the phone that you were looking to buy some new cars. We just got the new models"
"Yeah, it's Bella and I's anniversary today"
"Congratulations" he chuckled
"Thank you" I replied
"Why don't we start looking?"
We all nodded and started in our car quest. Keeping my wife happy during this trip was going to be crucial for what I had to tell her.
We walked around looking at the cars. I was the first person to have my car ordered, a Beautiful Maybach. On the other hand Bella wasn't really excited for any car that Amir was proposing to her, cars that were maybe proposed by me a day prior to our visit.
"You don't like this one babe?" I asked while she sat in a black Mercedes-Benz CLS.
"It's not really my taste" she sighed
"We've seen quite a few cars now and I have yet to see you go crazy for one of them"
"I want a convertible" she proclaimed as I helped her out.
"Ok let's see what Mercedes has in conver…."
"Amir, Can you show me the Bugatti?" she bluntly asked as I cringed inside since I really didn't want her driving something that was so fast.
"Uhh…" Amir looked at me for approval.
"Love why don't we look at the Porsche convertibles instead?" I placed my hand in hers.
"No, I already have one that I enjoy. Now I want a convertible and I want to see the Bugatti"
Bella Pov
It was upsetting to me that Amir was to show me cars that were suggested by my husband so when I said "Bugatti" of course his face went rigid. I looked again at Amir as he showed us the way to the most expensive and fastest car on the planet and one of the only cars that Edward refuses me to drive since I was not use to driving a fast car.
"I love it!" I said trying to test his willingness to have this car for myself. "Don't I look good in this car babe?" I smiled touching the smooth leather wheel of the silver race car.
"Love you are always beautiful but…"
"This car is amazing Bells" Kate enthusiasm matched mine perfectly.
"Kate! No!" I saw him give the death stare to Kate in opposition.
"Amir I'm sold. Can I take it home today?"
"Sorry Bells you can't take it home today…" Amir was about to explain the regulations.
"Oh no problem, I completely understand that you are only going to bring me the best. I'm just so excited. Thank you babe"
"No" he firmly said standing over Kate and i in the car.
"Why not?" I shot back.
He lowered his face to mine in the car. "Bella you know I don't want you driving this car. Love, you are a great driver but you are not use to fast cars" I was not offended by his comment because it was true but I made it seem like I needed this car to get my way, I didn't even want this car anyway.
"You have three Bugatti's. This is supposed to be my anniversary present and you told me that I could pick whichever one I wanted" I mentioned his word to mouth action.
Edward Pov
She wasn't going to get this car out of me by imposing a challenge. I knew that deep down she didn't really want this car and I was about to show her.
"Oh wait, look who it is" I smiled seeing the face of my other good friend Cyrus emerge from the office.
"Hey, sorry I was finishing some business. I see that Bella is already getting comfortable in the Bugatti" she smiled in approval and he looked at me in disbelief.
"I'm taking it home Cyrus, Edward is going to get it for me as an anniversary gift" she confidently said as if she had never heard anything I just stated.
"Wait a minute there. Cyrus I want you to accompany Bella for a test drive" I saw my wife's smile fade as fast as the speed of the car she "urgently" wanted.
"Fine" she agreed as Kate got out of the car so Cyrus could be in the passenger seat next to Ms. Formula One.
The rest of us stayed and watched as Bella drove on the track for a taste at what the car could do. It was clear to me from the second she started that the car started to suspend a lot from the high intensity speed to the lower levels of intensity. She was incapable to keep control of the car which made me smile in victory. I was right.
"So how was it?" I asked grinning like a cat.
"She did good overall" Amir said not really backing his words with his corporal gestures.
"I loved it. There was just this one moment that has me without concern" she crossed her arms
"What?" I looked back at Amir.
"She was getting dizzy at one point because of the speed of the car" he stammered
"That explains why I saw you hit the break on the car a couple of times" I reported
"But it's not a problem at all, I could always get used to it" she said "So were done here and I'm excited to get the car delivered to the house"
"I don't think so my love. I am not letting you get dizzy on the highway with this car"
"So you're basically saying that you are not going to buy this car for me?" she questioned leaving me to just stare in ratification.
Bella Pov
That's it I'm leaving.
I stood up from the car and hugged Amir and Cyrus "Thank you guys so much for showing me these beautiful cars, I'm so sorry for wasting your time" I kissed them both on the cheek and retrieved my bag from Kate to make my classy exit.
"Amore don't leave like this! Choose another one! There must be another one you want!" he proposed shaking both Amir and Cyrus's hand before following me back to the car.
I got in the car and apologized to Kate for my unfortunate behavior that really backfired since it ended up making me madder than a grizzly bear.
"I'm sorry you had to see that Kate. I promise it won't happen again"
"Don't worry about it Bells. I've seen worse" she said referring to the first problem that tipped over the glass of water.
The car door opened and there stood the man I was sharing this infuriating anniversary with.
Edward Pov
I know I acted authoritative but I was not going to let her make a stupid and unnecessary decision like that just to get back at me.
"Baby, don't get mad. Look they're…"
"Let's just go" she said dryly
"Are you sure?" I asked trying to convince to choose any other car she wanted.
"We promised to take Kate out for lunch" she insisted
"Okay" I got in the car defeated and drove off to a lunch spot.
I decided to take them to Terrazza Restaurant in Santa Monica. They showed us to a table, Bella discounted my presence while we ordered.
"I looked so great in Dad's new Bentley that I almost want it for myself"
"If you work really hard you can get one someday" Bella smiled
"I seriously need a raise; I don't earn enough working for dad"
"Well technically you're working for me and as your boss I think your earning just enough" I managed to grab Bella's hand while she ogled the menu, it was a miracle she didn't pull back.
"Dad still owns half of that company and I'm working as his secretary so I can buy the things that I want" she explained.
"I had to work really hard to get where I wanted to be and I also worked for dad until he gave me full control of the company. I didn't even have much of a summer vacation during my high school and college day since I was busy learning everything I needed to learn from our father and grandfather"
"But I don't even work directly for you. I think Dad should be the one to pay my salary"
"I use for work for my dad too Kate, then I got to leave for college and study what I wanted to study and be successful at it but for some reason I still got stuck with his company anyway" Bella calmly said undoubtedly referring to me.
"I can't wait to go to college and study art" Kate changed the tone, noticing that things getting awkward with Bella's comment.
"You're going to be a great art dealer and I am going to buy every art piece at your exposition" Bella said in her encouraging words. I just wished she could be as encouraging with Parker Technologies.
Our waiter arrived with our drinks and appetizers, a Guinness beer for me, Prosecco for Bella and a Sprite for Kate. We also took the chance to order our meals. I looked at Kate as an indication to start the awaited conversation.
"I can't believe neither Alice nor Emmett can make it to the party this year, but thank god you're going to be there Bells"
"Be where babe?" Bella asked distractingly looking at her phone while taking a sip from her Prosecco.
"At the Grimaldi Anniversary party"
"I didn't even know I was going" she separated her eyes from the phone and raised her eyebrow at me.
"My parent's sent us the invitation, yesterday" I slid the update in.
"Of course they did" she scoffed at me.
"Well I supposed since you guys are always there each year" Kate explained
"I'm sorry Katie but that invitation is for your brother only, I have plans"
"You have to be there Bella or it's going to be the longest party in history" she insisted.
"I don't know Katie"
"Okay" Katie said quietly
Well that was fast and unsuccessful, but at least the news was out.
I only needed to convince Bella to come with me tonight at our anniversary dinner I had planned for us.
Bella Pov
How dare he use Katie to emotionally bribe me to go to the Annual Grimaldi Party!
"Don't talk to me for the rest of the day" I said walking into our house again from that disastrous car shopping and lunch with Kate that the poor girl was sucked into.
"Bella…" he called out
"No! I'm going to take a nap because I have a horrible headache" I said pressing my temple.
"Okay beautiful, just be ready by seven pm" he notified from the bottom of the stairs
"I don't remember having plans with you for this evening, just like I don't remember agreeing to go to the your family's anniversary party"
"Bella, I have something planned for our anniversary and we are going out even if I have to blindfold you and carry you out of this house"
I ignored those words and went to bed for a long nap that lasted precisely three hours until it was time for me to wake up and get ready for whatever Edward had planned for us. I showered and blow dried my hair until it was silky enough to clip back, I then did my makeup and slipped on my red Alexander McQueen dress completed with peep toe Louboutins.
"I have to be the luckiest man on the planet" Edward offered his hand for me as I took my last steps down the stairs.
"Of course you are" I said, he didn't wait to wrap his arms around me.
"I was just admiring our wedding pictures and thought about the two years that you have made my life better than it was before"
"Four years together filled with lies. I never knew I would end up with an amazing man that could be capable of extramarital relationships with someone's wife and buying half of my father's company. You really have it all and all I got was deceit"
"Bella, it's our anniversary. Can we just not talk about this today?"
"I still have to be true to myself Edward and honesty maybe is not your best policy but it sure is mine"
"Amore I really screwed up badly and I'm trying my best to make you happy again. Let's enjoy what the night has to offer us" he stated
I breathed out.
"My first anniversary gift didn't work out as expected but I hope this can make up for it" he pulled one of his arms out from behind his back. In his hand was a black velvet book.
"Open it"
Inside the box revealed itself, one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I had ever seen.
"This is an art deco diamond bracelet that belonged to Elizabeth Taylor"
What?! My inner fan girl was jumping up and down.
"I know that she's one of your favorite actresses, so when an auction opened at Christies selling her jewelry collection I had to buy something from a classic beauty for my classic beauty" he used his free hand to take the bracelet out of the box and place it around my right hand.
"Now I have two priceless hands I can kiss" he said, speaking of to my wedding rings on the left and the vintage Elizabeth Taylor Bracelet that was on my right.
"Thank you, I love it" I couldn't stop twisting my wrist to get a better look at it.
"I love you" he grabbed my face for a kiss that left me like a soft noddle.
Edward didn't waste any more time to get me out of the house and into our chartered car. He didn't tell me where we were going but the trip did take about twenty minutes.
We got out of the car and saw that we were at my favorite restaurant and also one of the toughest restaurants to get a reservation, Melisse in Santa Monica.
"Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Grimaldi, let me escort you to your table" The restaurant was full as always but we had our private dinner area that featured dim lights and a working fireplace.
"Thank you" I expressed to the maître'd
"Good evening Mr. and Mrs. Grimaldi my name is Federic and I will be your server, may I interest you in our selection of wine"
"I think we will have the Romanee-Conti Grand Cru" Edward had always taken the lead in wine choices.
"Of course Mr. Grimaldi" he left us alone.
"Do you like everything so far?" he asked me taking me away from my trance.
"Oh! Of course and thank you again for the bracelet" I smiled looking at the bracelet.
"I want you to have everything you desire my love" he takes my hand in his and gently kisses it.
"Anything but a Bugatti" I said slowly building up my walls again.
"I don't want you to drive such a fast car amore"
Since the first part of my plan was for him to indulge me with anything I wanted. I really needed to get into his head and let him realize that I was the boss and whatever I said, goes.
"I can never win with you and I can never get what I want even though I'm giving you another chance" I gave him a despondent look.
"I always want you to win my love and I'm trying to make amends"
"My wants don't consist in you buying me things Edward. I never married you for your money" I said "I have my own money and I could have bought that Bugatti myself"
"Then why did you choose that Bugatti knowing that you didn't really want it?" he enquired
"To make a point Edward the Bugatti was the first item in your tendencies to control me and get everything you want, leaving me with nothing"
"I'm trying my love"
"Well you're not trying hard enough and it feels like I'm wasting my time" I am a sensitive girl overall and not useful for most cases but for this moment and time I needed to be emotional to show him my resignation.
"Don't cry amore" he caresses my cheek.
"I'm not going to cry Edward but I am getting tired. It's been two months and you haven't given me any signs that this is going to work out"
"Don't say that Bella'
"I am still young and I would still live my life without you…"
"But you can't because you love me" he interjected
"Don't be proud of it because I am still upset and we both know that I am not going to your family's event"
"Bella…"
"No! Edward even with the help of Kate I don't want to see your family and I don't want to see my mine either"
"My entire family did not know that I had bought your fathers company" he defended them.
"Your family didn't recognize about the purchase but Alice did tell me that some of them knew about Eva" Another situation that really twisted the knife in my heart.
"They expect me to be there as CEO of the company"
"I'm not chaining you to a bed Edward. It's your job to be there as the third generation Grimaldi"
"I need to be there with my wife Bella or people will start asking questions"
"Tell them that I'm busy with a new movie project" I took a sip of the palatable French wine.
"It's the company's 51st anniversary" he insisted
"And next year will be their 52nd anniversary. I don't think they will notice the little lie you're telling them, we both know that you have gotten pretty got at telling them" I saw his hand clench around my hand. It doesn't feel good being on the other side now does it.
"You hurting my hand isn't going to win your case Edward" I tried to pull out but he calmed down.
"Why are you fighting me Love? It's just a party"
"Yes your right, it's just a party and that's why I'm not going"
"Is there anyway I can convince you to come with me?"
"And let you all humiliate me again, I think I'll pass"
"I'm sorry for hurting you as I did that night but nothing like that will ever happen again"
"It is going to happen" I said calmly
"No it won't!"
"Yes it will! As long as you're the part owner of Parker Technologies, the humiliation will repeat itself!" I said in an exasperated breath.
"Bella, I am not going to sell my half of Parker Technologies. Your father wanted me…" he firmly stated
"Okay" was the only thing I said before finishing my meal. I could tell that he was very frustrated.
This anniversary was a failure on all accounts.
We got back to the house and went to bed.
I changed into the Victoria Secret lingerie I had planned to wear for my anniversary, of course I wasn't going to let anything happen between us tonight but I didn't want to waste this cute outfit that consisted in a see through teddy paired with a small thong.
I woke the next day with the morning sunlight blasting my face and a morning wood pressing against my butt. I turned my head back enough to see Edward dead asleep hiding in my hair and nothing on but his boxers on which explained how his little friend wanted to get out of his confines.
I managed to get out of the body knot, put on my silk robe and head downstairs for breakfast.
"Good Morning everyone"
"Good Morning Sweetheart"
"Blast to from the past" I laughed since Debbie had some 70's disco music playing.
"Best decade" she danced with a spatula in hand. "What tea will it be honey?" she asked
"No! You keep dancing, it's quite entertaining" I said while giving kisses to Milo who wanted mommy's attention.
"Let me just feed my big boy" I walked to his doggie pantry and took out his organic food. "There you go baby" I kissed him and continued with the preparation of my morning tea. I decided to go British and make an Earl Grey tea with a dash of milk.
I took my time, talking with Debs about her weekend activities and my anniversary with Edward.
"Isabella" uh oh she's calling me by my full name. "you know I love you but you are entering in some treacherous waters my dear"
"I know but I'm going to do whatever I can to make him sell"
"You two need to focus on your relationship and equal partnership"
"That's what I'm trying to do..." I sipped and whispered "but I want it in my favor "
"I hope I'm not biting my tongue with this information"
"What?" I questioned her hesitant demeanor.
She breathed in "I'm not supposed to give you this advice but I'm going to tell you if you are going to go through to what you are telling me. You need to go to that party"
"There is no way I'm going to that party Debs" I laughed at what she had just said.
"Of course you are going" she pointed the spatula at me.
"If I go Debs then they win and I will look like a fool once again" I declared
"You are a gorgeous girl sweetheart and very smart at that, use your qualities to get what you want"
"That's what Lindsay and Samantha told me and I'm trying to do that" I took a bite at the eggs benedict she had prepared for me.
"Well you're doing it wrong" she turned back and sat next to me at the table. "You are going to make them think that they won. If you don't go they are going to think that you are weak, if you do go they will be able to see..." she said in a whispered tone.
"That I have somewhat of a control over Edward" I completed her sentence.
Debbie was officially my Yoda.
"Have a lady like attitude about it, dress up like a goddess for that party and act like nothing has happened"
"You blow my mind Debbie"
"I know what you're wearing underneath that robe honey" she fixed my bra strap that had fallen from my shoulder "and that is phase one, the next phase is just what you have in here" she poked my head.
"Thank you for the advice Debs" I said finishing my tea.
"You didn't hear it from me and I'm telling you once again that you are playing with fire, just don't go too far with the matches because you could end up burned" she went back to her diligence.
Debbie was absolutely right and I have been doing everything wrong from the start. I couldn't act spoilt or childish, I needed to place my brain first and let the confidence exude my body language. I needed to dissect Edwards CEO brain and make me the owner of his body and mind.
"Good morning!" Edward walked into the kitchen, wearing sweats to cover his nudity.
"Good Morning! You were ten minutes from missing breakfast hour" Debbie retorted
"Wow, now were McDonalds? 9 am is too late for breakfast?"
"Yes, I have you and Bella on a strict schedule and I would like to keep it that way so I can do the rest of my responsibilities"
"I'm sorry Debs, Please forgive me for my selfishness" he kissed her on the cheek. "Can I please get my cup of coffee?" he walked right in front of me and pulled me up so he can sit and placed me on his lap.
"You can make it yourself" she answered. I just watched their unusual interaction since he was supposed to be the boss.
"Please Debbie! No one can make a cup of coffee like you do" he murmured while kissing my cheek.
"Okay but from now on you have to come downstairs with a shirt on when the rest of your employees are around" she commented on his naked chest.
"No one should be uncomfortable with it, this is my house" he claimed
"Edward, you need to be mindful for your employees, especially the other women working here. I don't my girls getting distracted by your "body" of work" I didn't really care of the other girls who came here to clean and maintain the house. They are nice and very professional at their job.
"I will consider your recommendation Debbie and don't worry I only do this to distract one girl" He tightened his grip around my waist and kissed my shoulder.
"Now I can't sit on my own chair?" I asked
"I like it better when you sit on me" his insinuendo came with a recurrent poking friend. "You've been driving me crazy all night" he pushed my robe down from my shoulder so he could kiss my teddy strap.
It wasn't long before Debbie came back with Edward's coffee and winked at me before leaving the room.
"Edward, I need to go upstairs" I wiggled but he didn't lose his grip.
"Let me just drink this and we'll go up together" he keep one hand on my waist while sipping his coffee by the other.

"Why not amore?" he kissed my cheek.

"Victor has called me for a confirmation to our invitation for the party next week" he said, wary to my answer.

He didn't back down, he instead walk over to the other side and climbed back on the bed. My eyes were closed but he began kissing my eye lids.

"I know I'm asking a lot from you amore but please…I really need you there and I will accept every request so we can make it happen" my eyes were closed but I could still feel his burning stare, waiting for the answer he desperately wanted and needed for that matter.
Silence…

"BUT…I do have a list of demands that you will need to ensure" I opened my eyes and looked straight at him.

"I am going the day before the party and not a week before"
"Okay no problem, I'll have the plane ready for you and have Thomas pick you up from the airport"
"I want the guest list to the party"
"Why do you need the guest list babe?" he asked
"So I can see whose coming! The last time I was a fool for not knowing anyone…"
"Okay okay my love, what else?" he waited for the rest of the petitions.
"I want to think about it and invite some of my friends"
"Of course"
"I don't want your employees and Victor speaking to me as if I knew about Parker Technologies" I said resentfully.
"Okay"
"Since I'm going two days before the party, I want to spend one of those days with you at the office"
"You're always welcome to come with me amore but it's going to be boring, filled with meetings…"
"Is there a meeting involving Parker Technologies?" I asked
"Yes…"
"Then it's perfect, I want to be there" I was going to need to be at those meetings for what I planned.
"But your father and grandfather will be there" he said waiting for me to decline.
"I don't care. I'm your wife and I should come first over anything your family or my family has to say… and the last thing, I do not want to go out with your family or my parents before the party and when we are at the event I am not going to waste my breath on them for a single conversation" I said emphatically "I'm serious Edward if everything doesn't go as planned, I'm leaving you at that party and coming back to Los Angeles for a divorce"
"Everything will happen to your expectation love, Thank you" He tucked me back into bed.
"Can I have a kiss before I leave" he asked
I lifted my face up a bit so he could plant a peck on my lips.
"You won't regret it babe!" he left our room.
"You won't but everyone else will" I concluded, talking about his family and my parents.

Uh oh trouble is coming and real drama is about to erupt.
Bella will become a real bad ass and a pain in the ass for others. I'm so excited to finish the next chapter because it will feature the party and the recurring character.

Bella will run into the famous model and things will get very uncomfortable for Edward's ex-lover since she has it forbidden to be around her.
We will also get to see Bella's interaction will Edward's family and her parents, for them to see how much she has changed and treatment that Edward's making towards them.
