Chapter 20: Day 188
After the argument Raven and I had a few hours ago after she informed me that we were no longer together as well as absolving our friendship. After yelling due to frustration between the thought of not having her as well as my frustration of not being able to help Gloria, Patrick not to mention all the others from other cities I'd defended in years past. After I returned to my room sad, angry and frustrated which yelled and cried to release up on the roof I undressed down to my underwear and flopped face first onto my bed and due to how tired I was from my emotional release sleep came upon me easily. However after only a few hours I was awoken by a feeling that I couldn't place but the presence felt calming but once I opened my eyes I was unable to return back to sleep despite the fact my eye lids were heavy with tiredness. I then spent the next few hours trying to return to sleep but I couldn't calm my mind with meditation my mind full of too many thoughts, I tried reading but it too proved uneventful as my thoughts about my past distracted me. I then decided to try quelling my hyperactive thoughts by giving into them so reached under my bed and I pulled the show box that contained all the news paper clippings I had on Logan's past activities. The top one however was not about Logan, but Katie. I looked down at it as if I was reading it but I'd memorized it over the years and I was actually remembering her. I was lost in past experiences and I remembered how soft Katie's lips were as well as the warmth of her velvet feeling skin. I stayed up from the time I awoke at 2:30 A.M. all the way until my alarm went off at 7:00 A.M.
I shut it off before putting the newspaper clippings I had kept for years back in the old beat up shoe box before putting it back under my bed and then I went into my bathroom to start my shower while I relieved my full bladder. Once the water temperature rose to my desired temperature I stripped off my boxer briefs and once naked plus the water temperature being where I wanted it to be before I stepped into my shower. I slid the glass door closed behind me and the water coming from the shower head felt great as the water pounded against my back massaging it. As I got done feeling the pleasure of the water beating on my back I washed my body and hair before cleaning the suds from my body getting out of my shower after I was clean.
Once my shower was done I stepped out drying off before leaving my bathroom and I strode to my dresser to get a pair of boxer briefs, pants, t-shirt and socks. Once I had my clothes I dressed quickly before putting the clothes I left on the floor from the night before into my hamper and then I put on my jacket and boots before leaving for the GPS Room. As I entered the GPS Room I walked over to the kitchen island and I poured myself a mug of coffee as I sat down and while usually I took mine with two sugars today I drank it black. While I sat there drinking my coffee Bee commented.
''Max you usually don't drink your coffee black. Why today?'' Bee asked.
''I didn't sleep well last night.'' I said.
''Oh that sucks. Do you know why?'' Bee asked.
''You ever have one of those nights when your brain just won't shut down?'' I asked her.
''Oh yeah I hate those nights.'' Bee said in agreement.
As Bee and I talked I didn't let on about mine and Raven's argument nor the break up as I wanted to talk to Raven about everything first as well as try to change her mind about it all. Her and I were the first two in the GPS Room and the team slowly filtered in and sat down at either the kitchen island or the half circle couch while Bee started on breakfast a simple one on sausage patties, toast, eggs and melon balls along with OJ, coffee or milk. I sat talking to her and making the toast from my seat sipping on my coffee and I also scooped on Honey Dew, Cantaloupe and Seedless Watermelons with the ball scooper placing them in a bowl. Raven was one of the last two people in the room, followed only by Terra, she and I acted civil toward one another wishing each other a good morning and she poured herself a mug of coffee as well before sitting down a few seats away from me. She reached out with her TP to my mind and I allowed her access just incase she wanted to make up but to my dismay she just said ''Tonight after dinner I want to talk with you about how to explain our break up to the team.''
''Fine we'll meet in my room.'' I replied still angry about what she'd done last night.
''Fine.''
Bee continued to make breakfast with my little bit of help but it took some pressure off of her which she liked. Once breakfast was done the team gathered at the kitchen island and to keep up appearances Raven sat next to me. We were as I said before civil to each other but not happy neither one of us it but while we acted this way it was hard not to get emotional I still cared about her and didn't want this to happen but I knew I wouldn't be able to convince her which was going to be my main focus tonight when we talked. Once the team was finished eating breakfast Raven left immediately for her room saying she wanted to meditate alone today when Star asked to join her.
''That is most okay Friend Raven. Friend Maxcy and I can meditate together in my room.''
''Actually Star I was going to meditate alone as well just to change things up a bit but we can have a group meditation session later this week.''
''Okay Friend Maxcy I will then leave the two of you to your own meditations for today.''
We both left for our rooms right after this while everyone else went down to the Gym to workout. Now normally we'd meditate for two to three hours usually the latter and those in the Gym would do the same but the team was only an hour into their respective activities when we heard the city wide alarm go off. This pulled mine and Raven's minds out of our focused concentration same as with everyone else in the Gym where they were lifting weights, using the punching bags or hand to hand sparring in the Dojo area. Once the alarm sounded Raven and I quickly adjourned to the GPS Room where she used the console to find out where in the city the emergency was. The others came up in the elevator and hastily made their way to the GPS Room to see Raven hitting the keys and asked her where we were going.
''I don't know I'm trying to pin point it but I'm getting three places at once.''
Cy headed over to take over for Raven and he was getting the same when he determined all three locations were being hit at the same time and all three were banks.
''Three banks that can't be a coincidence.'' I said.
''No it's not.'' Robin stated.
''It's probably Billy.'' Jinx said
''You know who it is?'' I asked her.
''Back when I was a villain and in the H.I.V.E. Academy he was part of my team.'' she said.
Before I asked her anymore questions the team went into the elevator and we rode it down to the Vehicle Hangar and we spilt into three separate teams. BB, Jinx and me, Cy, Star and Terra and finally Robin, Raven and Bee. Before we headed out we set our T-Communicators so they were in speaker mode like on a cell phone so we just had to speak and the other two teams of three could hear us. We all started to head out and Jinx hoped on the back of my bike holding onto my waist as we started to move forward. As BB, Jinx and I headed towards the Bank of Jump City I used my TP so I could find out more information on Billy from Jinx.
''So Jinx what else should I know about Billy?'' I asked her.
''He's a hick with a southern accent who can make multiple copies of himself up to a certain point.'' she said.
''What happens when he reaches that point?'' I asked.
''He passes out and all his copies slam back into him and in this case his copies will go through the walls of the bank if he gets back to that point.'' Jinx stated.
''So how will we go about getting him to that point when his body can't handle all of his copies?'' I asked.
''We'll come up with something.'' Jinx said.
The three of us arrived at the Bank of Jump City and we told the other two teams we had arrived there and we collectively devised a plan. Even though Raven and I were mad at each other we put our drama aside as when the city was under attack our problems took a back seat and she gave me the advise to use TK to distract him. After that BB, Jinx and I stormed the bank entering into it we saw the citizens were all tied up. Then one of Billy's copies saw us and he replicated himself and suddenly there was four times as many and they quickly out numbered us six to one.
''Jinx ya shouda neva joind up wiff deez wimpy Titans an' ya kna I's betta then y'all.'' Billy said in his deep southern accent.
''Shut up Billy you know you can't compete with me. I've always been better than you.'' Jinx said confidently.
Jinx was in her fighting stance pink lightning flowing freely ready to cause him bad luck, Beast Boy had turned into a Gorilla ready to punch and grab the Billy's that came at him and I was ready for him in my fighting stance my TK ready and flashing in my hands. Billy was ready and he made the first move as one of the copies ran at BB who swung his arm and clotheslined the clone knocking him to the floor. Then more copies all moved at once mostly for BB while Jinx and I had to deal with three each. The copies attacking BB were flying all over the place but they were quickly getting back up and rushing him until finally they all jumped for him and he was overwhelmed by multiple copies of the cloning teen. BB ended up at the bottom of a dog pile under at least thirty to thirty-five clones of Billy and while BB was under many copies Jinx and I were each preoccupied with three of our own but soon each one of the three made two more clones so we were facing nine each.
Jinx and I weren't beating the Billy clones but we were holding our own Jinx punching, kicking and using her pink luck powers causing the Billy clones to trip, slip and falling over themselves until eventually his sheer numbers over took her and she too was at the bottom of a dog pile. I like her was punching, kicking and using my TK to push and throw copies of the southern teen around the room but he kept making more and more copies of himself until I too was overwhelmed laying at the bottom of a dog pile but I stopped my TK usage switching to my PK. Fire flared and surged up my arms and I increased the temperature steadily which I didn't need to do as my ''coolest'' flame was still as hot as a matches but it got the Billy clones to get off of me releasing me from the dog pile I was under. Once I was out from under the dog pile I then decided to shoot a beam of flame from each hand at the piles containing BB and Jinx. This was helpful to both of them as Billy clones jumped off after being hit with a small amount of flame and the reduction of weight was enough for both BB and Jinx to be released from their piles. Unfortunately my PK set off the sprinkler system and water started to drench us but we continued fighting.
Now that all three of us were from our piles of Billy clones we quickly started to punch, kick, and use our powers against them again with me sticking with my PK but the blocked and dodged our attacks as well as made more clones of themselves but this turned out to be a horrible idea as all the clones started to become woozy. Now all through the battle everyone could hear all the others due to our T-Communicators being on speaker mode and while nobody was really paying attention to the other teams we all had similar experiences with Billy making multiple clones at all three banks. Once all the clones became woozy they quickly fainted as he had made too many copies of himself and then all the clones in two of the banks started to shake back and forth rapidly through the walls of buildings and along the streets colliding harmlessly into one another making their way towards the original Billy while at the last bank all the Billy clones were colliding back into the original before the other ones arrived.
Once all the Billy clones had left two of the banks and slammed in the original Billy the Titans quickly found out that he was at the Jump County Trust where Robin, Raven and Bee were. Jinx BB and I quickly untied all the citizen's at our bank just as Cy, Star and Terra were at theirs same as Bee, Raven and Robin were at theirs after putting null cuffs on the only Billy left. After quickly thanking us for saving them at all three the cops eventually showed up at each bank to get statements from everyone including us Titans. Once all that was done and they arrested Billy at Jump County Trust we all left through the front doors. BB turned into an Eagle while Jinx and I mounted my bike which I started revving it into life and she grabbed my waist to keep from falling while we concurred on a rendezvous which was our favorite pizza place downtown for lunch as well as a recap of the events at each bank. We were seated on the outdoor patio of the skyscraper the pizza place was in ordering our drinks first after we were seated. As we heard everyone else's timeline of events and the tactics used at the respective banks.
After we ate we all returned to the tower and once we arrived back, those of us that rode vehicles parked them in the Vehicle Hangar, before we took the elevator up to the top floor. Once the doors opened we all walked into the hallway and into the GPS Room except for me. I went to my room and I sat in my room for hours contemplating on how and what to say to Raven to both apologize and take me back as I'd come to realize how much of any ass I'd been the previous night which was her perspective and I needed to give her mine to help try to see mine. Eventually I after coming up with how to apologize to Raven, hopefully get her to take me back and have her see things my way even if she didn't agree with them I decided to take a small nap as I didn't sleep but a couple of hours the previous night.
As I napped Raven watched T.V. with the others a bit before deciding to go meditate since she only did so for an hour before going on the bank mission. She went to her room to meditate for a few hours but as she sat in her room to calm her mind instead her thoughts traveled to last night and the things she'd said to me. She tried to push the thoughts away but after an hour of being unsuccessful of doing so to meditate properly she decided that her inability to push the thoughts from her mind meant something. So while I slumbered she thought of ways to apologize to me, have me take her back and tried to see things from my perspective. She too had a plan as how to do all this while we talked in my room after dinner. Once she'd come up with her plan to have me take her back she decided to also take a small nap before dinner.
While I napped and Raven thought about her plan as I had mine earlier the rest of the team did their own thing. Robin studied some evidence in the Evidence Room, Cy and BB were in the GPS Room playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 together passing the controller off to each other every other game, Bee, Star, Jinx and Terra were on their way to the video store to rent movies for the team to watch over the next few days. They returned about forty minutes later with a good mix of movies that we'd all enjoy to some extent and once they had come back to the tower Bee with Terra's help cooked dinner as per usual. When dinner was almost finished Bee asked if someone could get the stragglers who were off doing their own thing and while Star would get Robin Jinx volunteered to get me and Raven.
Jinx and Star walked out into the hall together and as Star got in the elevator which she took down three floors to the Evidence Room to get Robin while Jinx first walked to the room she shared with Raven. When she entered the lights were off and she saw Raven's boots by the door with her cloak hanging on a hook above them. She strode over to the half demon's bed and shook her shoulder light rousting her from her slumber.
''Huh?'' Raven said with a startled gasp.
''Time to wake up Raven. Dinner's almost ready.'' Jinx said.
''Okay.'' Raven said rubbing her eyes ''Thanks.''
Jinx left to do the same to me while Raven threw her covers back and stood up walking over to put on her boots and cloak before joining the majority of the team in the GPS Room. After waking her up Jinx walked down the hall to my room and once in she walked over to me in my bed to shake me awake like she had Raven. I awoke yawning and stretching as I sat up.
''Ahhhh.'' I yawned before asking ''What time is it?''
''7:15.'' Jinx said after looking over to my clock ''And dinner is basically ready.''
She then left my room and I sat up swinging my feet and legs over the side of my bed and I used my TK to float my boots and jacket from the floor over to me on the bed. After putting them on I stood up and walked out of my room towards the GPS Room. about thirty seconds later I stepped through the doors to see everyone else was at the island just as Bee was serving and plating the food. As I sat down next to Jinx who was between Raven and I we all ate and discussed which movie to watch afterwards. Raven and I even helped decide which movie to watch despite the fact we were going to be talking in my room after dinner with neither one of us realizing the others plan of apologizing, reconciliation and seeing things from the others point of view while defending our own. After we were done eating Raven and I excused ourselves while everyone else went over to the couch to watch the movie. Raven and I walked in silence to my room unsure of what the other one was thinking as we were blocking each other from using TP to communicate as well as keep from also reading the others thoughts.
After the two of us walked into my room I offered Raven a seat on my bed which she accepted and I started things off by saying ''First off I'd like to say thanks for agreeing to meet in my room while we discuss all this and secondly I've done some thinking coming to the conclusion that you're right I shouldn't blame myself. I've thought all day and I can see where your coming from but I feel I need to explain my views on why his actions are my fault.''
Raven interrupted me to say ''Max stop.''
I gave her a questioning look my eyes asking ''Why?''
''I know what your going to say Max because I was going to say the same thing. I too thought about things from your point of view and I was going to explain my reasoning as to why they aren't and therefore you shouldn't be responsible so instead lets agree on the following we each have our own views on things and we'll explain them to each other but first I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart. Last night when I said that not only was our relationship over but also our friendship I was wrong to have said those things and I was wondering if you'd forget I ever said that and be willing to accept my apology and take me back.''
I then gave a chuckle which started to visibly anger her but I told her it was only funny because I was going to ask her the same thing and then she too laughed before we gave each other a hug as well as kiss making up and getting back together. After the kiss we each explained our views of why we felt the way we did about the subject of last nights argument IE: whether the people hurt by Logan over the years was and is my fault or not. I went first while Raven on my bed listening as well as watching me pace back and forth. I explained how I felt his actions were my fault because while the physical body was of my friend Logan from my youth the energy that reincarnated and continued to influence the decisions he made almost becoming a different person because of it was in fact my own anger and rage from the day he killed Katie. Therefore I viewed him kind of as an extension of myself almost like there were two versions on myself. One who helped people and another hell bent on hurting them and since I had accidently transferred my powers, as well as hate and rage, into Logan's body since I also killed him the same time I created this new version of him I felt it was my job and duty to stop him. The caveat of that though was once I did manage to defeat him which would mean killing him again even though that wasn't how the team rolled I knew it would come down to that before now I didn't know what that meant for me. Whether I would stay a hero defending innocence against the forces of evil, return home to see if the intense effects of Logan's mind influencing them had warn off or stayed. But as I was part of a team something bigger than myself I knew I'd stay here to fight crime which was part of the reason I had decided to stay and fight but my old way of thinking had clouded my judgment causing me to run from city to while Logan stayed behind to continue causing chaos and hurting people.
Once I explained my fears, thoughts and views on the situation she nodded with better understanding of why it was such a touchy subject with me and some of what I'd said aligned with her thoughts of what she thought I'd say about the creating and sense of responsibility. Raven then asked me to sit on my bed with her which I did gladly happy she'd apologized and asked me to take her back so we could continue our relationship. She held my hands in hers as we sat on my bed and she then explained her views on the situation which were while she agreed on the creation of Logan with me accidentally transferring my powers to the corpse which somehow caused him to reincarnate before resurrecting as well as using my TP to influence the town into hating me. She viewed it as a mistake a friend who lost their way even if the way he lost his was extreme he still knew the difference between right and wrong with him making his choice. She then said she believed in me and knowing what happened causing me to end up in Jump City she knew I would defeat him and ultimately have to kill him which she didn't want to happen but if it helped me she would respect it even if she didn't like it. She then said how she knew the fear, terror and dread I felt as she knew who her father was as well as what would happen on her sixteenth birthday a couple of years ago and she knew I'd make it through my situation because she did with the help of her friends same as I would.
After we explained our views and listened to each others we both felt better as I knew she believed in me and she knew that I was now more determined wanting this the cycle of events to end. We then hugged again before I stood up and adjourned to my bathroom to piss before we joined our friends in the GPS Room to watch the rest of the movie. As I walked into my bathroom to relieve myself she put her feet on the floor and the heel of one of her boots hit something which caught her curiosity so she bent down reaching back between her legs and she felt cardboard at her fingertips. Feeling for the edges of what was under my bed she pulled up an old beat up shoe box.
I strode out of my bathroom and once the door slide open I saw Raven still sitting on the edge of my bed her feet on the floor and an old beat up shoe box in her lap and time seemed to slow down going in slow motion. I then saw as Raven picked up the top newspaper clipping which was Katie's obituary and she read the first few lines before time seemed to return to normal my anger building and I could find my voice.
''What are you doing?'' My voice filled with a slight bit a irritation.
''My boot hit something and I wanted to find out what it was.'' Raven said as she held the clipping.
''Well that doesn't mean you have the right to look at my private property.'' I said harshly.
''It's alright Max I'm not hurting anything is this Katie's obituary?'' Raven asked me holding the newspaper clipping in her hand.
''Yes.'' I said wanting her to put the clipping down.
She could see my agitation and put the clipping back in the box before setting it on the bed next to her cautiously.
''I'm sorry if I did something that upset you but...''
I cut Raven off saying with a hard edge to my voice ''There's very few things that truly piss me off but snooping through my personal private things is one of them.''
''Okay Max I'm sorry if I hurt or angered you but it was an accident plus I didn't know. My curiosity got the better of my and again I'm sorry.'' Raven replied calmly trying not to a handle on the situation, as well as both my and her own anger not wanting my to repeat the choking incident. She stood up slowly keeping her eyes on me not making any sudden movements before I noticed her body language.
I held up my hands in a show of being none threatening and exhaled slowly to calm myself before I spoke again apologizing for letting things escalate additionally I knew it was an accident on Raven's part so I accepted her apology for that too. I then sat on the bed and asked Raven to join me so I could look at the clippings with her sharing an object that held painful memories that she already knew about but these told the story from an outside perspective adding clarity. After she sat next to me and read it as I held it for her she looked at me with deep empathy hugging me to comfort the pain of sharing this with her as well as the event that started me on this road that ultimately led to me meeting the Teen Titans. I then told her about how last night I couldn't sleep after the bomb shell of her breaking up with me and how I pulled out this box and lost myself until this morning in this box of bad memories.
''Why would you torture yourself like that though?''
''I don't know it's just how I act when people I care about leave me. I depress myself in memories usually my failures and how I screwed up.''
''But how is this your fault?''
''It's my fault because I couldn't stop it and I feel guilty for that.'' I said the agitation in my voice returning.'
Raven's anger started to peak through her façade as she said ''Maxcy I can see how you'd feel guilty for the things Logan did after he resurrected but this is not your fault he did this before you transferred your powers into him you have to just let this go as far as feeling guilty!''
''Raven if I don't feel guilty and responsible about what happened who will?'' I shouted back pointing at Katie's obituary.
''How exactly are you responsible!?'' Raven shouted questioning my view.
''I'm responsible for her death!'' I shouted at Raven.
''How were you responsible for her death when that was Logan's fault?''
''It's my fault because I love her and I couldn't stop him in time!'' I yelled.
Raven was slightly taken a back at my words focusing on only part of my sentence ''You love her? or loved her?'' Raven asked hoping for the latter.
''I love her.'' I said admitting the truth that I'd never let go of her.
Raven then said ''You know Max before I met you I was interested in guys but I was too afraid to rope them into my whole crazy life. My father's an inter-dimensional demon who used me as a gateway to this one on my sixteenth birthday. I myself an half demon who has to watch my emotions or I'll hurt those I love and care about. I was fine for years but then you came along and after spending time with you I grew to like you then love you as more then a friend. You asked me out much to my own trepidation about what may happen if I let you get too close but you helped allay those fears and helped me see I could show my emotions without fear since I've learned to control my emotions from taking over. I made all these sacrifices and compromises for you only to find out that you've not only been carrying a flame for someone else but that she's been dead for years well fuck you for playing games with my heart you piece of shit!'' As Raven spoke her voice matching the anger that now clear for me to see her eyes slowly changed from their usual violet to red like when she went into her demon form with two slight but noticeable differences. Instead of four completely red eyes she had the two normal ones and secondly only the iris' turned a deep shade of red.
After I noticed the change in her eyes I was still mad but also worried and in her anger Raven said ''Well I hope you two will be happy together in death.'' before she threw a hard fast punch hitting me in the face with enough force to send me to the floor. She then ripped up Katie's obituary and let it fall to the floor as she turned and stormed out of my room down to the opposite end of the hall entering her room. unbeknownst to her as she stormed out of my room and down the hall to hers her eyes were still red but they soon went back to their normal shade of violet shortly after entering her room. She was still angry, jealous, but most of all hurt and betrayed to discover where my heart truly lied so in order to calm herself knowing going to bed feeling these emotions she decided to meditate to calm herself.
As Raven was in her room starting her meditation I lay on my floor with pain in my face from where Raven hit me as well as knowing I'd screwed up in getting her back and keeping it that way. Not to mention her reaction to hearing I still loved Katie and her response wishing a happy death with her plus ripping the obituary up me last physical link to Katie. Once a few minutes passed my trying to figure everything out I stood up gathering the pieces of newspaper into a pile before I put them on my nightstand. I then lay in my bed and cried for the following reasons. One my face still hurt from Raven's punch, Two the fact that Raven had ripped Katie's obituary into confetti, Three was that I wasn't sure if Raven still loved me and Four I didn't know if this was the end of any sense of normalcy between her and I. I continued crying drifting to sleep as I did while the rest of the team finished their movie before eventually going to their beds to find sleep easier than Raven or myself.
However while we were eating dinner Raven and I wondering what the other was going to say when we met in my room soon a major crime was happening but nobody knew or would find out until the morning came as some of the Titans most deadly adversaries were being broken out of their prison cells by the most unlikely of people the prison's very own warden. He released The Circus of Crime, Cinderblock, Control Freak and Plasmus before he led them to a prison bus where they thought they were being transferred but instead he unlocked all their null cuff as well as regular ones in the case of Control Freak and given their clothes back, if they wore them, back. In addition to getting their clothes back there were two additional people on the bus the driver in his mid teens and Red-X who was sitting relaxing as comfortably as possible in the back. Once they were all on the bus the driver closed the door and sped off to the next location.
The bus sped off down the streets of Jump City at normal speeds s as not to arouse suspicion even though the bus had written on the side of it ''Jump City Prison Transfer'' but there were no escorts but those in traffic and walking the streets didn't seem to notice this fact at all. As they rode to the mystery location the Wildman asked the driver ''Hey where're we going?''
''Don't worry my master wouldn't have planned this prison break just to cause you harm we'll be arriving shortly.''Minutes later and miles away from the tower and prison the bus arrived at an old office building with a factory area attached that seemed abandoned but everyone sort of knew the drill. They walked into the lobby area and the bus driver led them up a few flights of stairs apologizing for the inconvenience as the elevator wasn't operational yet. Once where they nee to be on the fourth floor they entered an old conference room where they were greeted by someone dressed in a black hooded rode, similar to those of Medieval Monks, and he spoke to the group of The Circus of Crime, Cinderblock, Control Freak, Plasmus and Red-X.
''Welcome everyone.'' the raspy, gravelly voiced man said.
''Thanks for the ride.'' Red-x said.
''Not a problem now allow me to introduce myself. My name is Logan and you may all call me as such.''
''Okay Logan, Madam Ringleader cut in, before you continue would you mind telling us why we're here?'' everyone else seemed to wonder that as well but she voiced the groups opinion.
''Ah yes I was just getting to that you see I have a plan but I need more help then my apprentice can provide.'' Logan said gesturing the teen bus driver the masters skin crackled with even the slightest movement with nobody knowing why it happened.
''However before I explain why I helped break you out of prison and my plan please turn your attention to the screen to your left.''
''But you didn't break us out of prison the warden did.'' The Engineer said in his normal snotty attitude.
''Dude even I could tell he was under Mind Control.'' The Wildman said.
''Yes indeed he was but before I explain my plan and why I need your help please your attention to the screen.
They all turned to look to find Raven and I on the screen talking. They could hear our words as well as see Raven and I sitting on my bed as she explained her views on some thing no one was sure except the host. They continued watching as I got up to go to the bathroom while she put her feet on the floor before she reached down under the bed to grab something. They watched as everything happened and just before the final moments of the argument Logan said ''Now watch this.''
He channeled his energy and power his iris' turning a deep shade of red same as Raven's and he spoke the words ''Well I hope you two will be happy together in death.'' before throwing a phantom punch that Raven mimicked as well as mimed ripping up paper which again Raven followed. He then moved his feet walking in place while Raven stormed out of my room and down the opposite end of the hall to hers.
Once in her room Logan was shaky from the power use and he collapsed to his knees with the teen bus driver coming over to his side aiding him in standing again.
''You see that's one reason why I need everyone's help I need someone to teach to better handle my powers at least until I can syphon off more energy from him.'' he said pointing at me.
Everyone was on board after seeing the display of Logan's power first hand and they started talking about who to call to train Logan, as well as ask him about the rest of his plan which he gladly explained plus they wondered how he'd gotten even a single camera in the tower without suspicion being aroused by Cy. After everything was explained Logan's apprentice showed them where they'd be staying for the duration of their time here while they helped with the plan Logan had in mind. He led them to the stairs and up they when to the last floor and he said ''It's not much but you each get your own room with a cot but soon there'll be beds for you to sleep on my master apologizes we made due with what little we could. Everyone get some rest as tomorrow we start his plan to destroy the Teen Titans.''
