Hi everyone, Sorry for the shortness of this chapter or the time it took me to publish it, but it,s a teaser for the next chapter comming soon, as soon as I can get something that I like out of it. I will try to post the next chapter during the next week, but I can't promise anything. but for now, Enjoy.
That night, I woke up around midnight, bathing in the moonlight passing through the windows. The light reflecting on my fur gave it a little silver looking sparkle, which captivate my attention for quite some time. I felt peaceful, until a chill down my spine brought me back to reality. I was observed, from this very room, but where. Closing my eyes, I activated true vision, revealing absolutely nothing. I could still feel like I was being watched.
Stretching, I uncurled and stood up, moving from the windows where I fell asleep. Without a sound, I moved around the room, heading to the door, then down the stair, soundless. As I walked through the front door of the house, the feeling stayed, seemingly following me.
Suddenly, a figure appeared to me, a small cat looking shape. As it close's, I made my ring glow gradually more. As the light almost covered it, the shape stopped, waiting there. I sat down, showing I didn't want to make one more step. It then started moving again, showing herself. Standing there was a Skitty, looking pretty familiar.
-Midnight, something great is awaiting you. Said the Skitty.
-What are you talking about?
-You'll see when you're able to handle what's coming.
-What is coming!?
-That, my friend, is a question seeking for another answer...
As she finished her last word, she fell on the ground. She wasn't moving anymore, as if she was dead, or unconscious. I moved to her side, looking if she was alive, but she had just fainted. Feeling relieved, I put her on my back, and headed to her dens, to put her somewhere safe.
Walking back, I wandered here and there, thinking about what she said, and about what it could mean. I finally walked back home, head full of questions. I moved to the windows, jumping on its ledge. I curled in a ball, letting sleep take over me.
