AN: Hi guys! I am so sorry I took so long to update. Life has kept me busy. Finally I had time this past week to finish this chapter. Now i'm going to warn you, it's probably not the best of the lot, but it was necessary to move forward. I promise next chapter will be better and there will be more progress :) Enjoy!

disclaimer: i don't own glee, just the shit load of mistakes and grammar errors in this chapter.

Quinn was determined. She hadn't been this determined to do something in a very long time. But after what almost happened in the auditorium with Rachel, she finally knew what she wanted. Rachel. It was no longer a mystery what the two felt for each other. The blonde had seen the way Rachel had looked at her. She had felt the weight of Rachel's gaze on her lips. Quinn didn't know how deep the brunette's feelings for her went, but she was determined to find out.

Many things became clear the moment Rachel kissed her cheek. One, she wanted Rachel's lips on hers, not her cheek; two, she had to break up with Sam as soon as possible, and three, she had to talk to Mr. Berry.

Throwing away a full ride scholarship to Yale was probably the most idiotic thin to do, but not having Rachel in her life would hurt more than not going to Yale. Quinn knew that if she continued to "work" for Hiram, Rachel would eventually find out and end her friendship with her. The blonde did not want that to happen, especially if she wanted more than a friendship with her.

Quinn spent fifth period thinking of what she was going to tell Mr. Berry. The situation was complicated because she wasn't sure if he knew that Rachel was Bisexual. She didn't want to out Rachel, but she did want to tell him how she felt about her. Quinn wanted to be honest with him. He deserved the truth after what he was doing to help her.

A part of Quinn just wanted to shove everything aside and act on her feelings, but she knew doing so would be wrong. There was Sam to think about. Sam was still her boyfriend after all. She didn't want to hurt him but at this point it was inevitable. Quinn just hoped he'd be supportive of her as her best friend. Because even though they weren't going to be a couple anymore, she hoped they'd stay friends.

Can we talk tonight? –Q

The blonde couldn't wait any longer so she messaged him. She had to break things off tonight.

Almost immediately she received a reply. It was odd because Sam hardly ever texted during fifth period.

Sure. After the game? –S

With everything that was going on Quinn had completely forgotten that there was an away game that night. They would have to talk when they got back to Lima. The Cheerios and football players rode in different buses so they wouldn't have any time to talk.

Yeah, when we get back into town. – Q

Sounds good. Good luck tonight :) – S

Quinn smiled sadly. Breaking up with Sam was going to be hard.

Thanks :) Good luck to you too – Q

Rachel Berry was not a very patient person. She had some patience, but most of the time her patience grew very thin in a matter of seconds. The brunette desperately needed to talk to Sam. The problem was that she was stuck in Ms. Pillsbury's office until it was time for glee and Rachel didn't think she could wait that long.

Usually during fifth period Rachel helped out Ms. Pillsbury with some of her tasks. Mostly it was calling in students and retrieving her mail. Today the cheery redhead didn't have any work for her since it was a Friday, so Rachel sat in the office while she watched the counselor work on the computer.

Rachel stared at the clock anxiously but only a few minutes had passed since the bell had rung. She still had 40 minutes left til it was time for glee. It was too long. She had to speak to Sam now.

The pad of calling slips on Ms. Pillsbury's desk got her attention. What if she could get Sam out of class to talk to him? All she needed was to know what Sam's fifth period class was and she could call him out of class. The problem was that there was no way Ms. Pillsbury would call Sam out of class just because Rachel needed to speak with him.

The brunette looked at the computer. She could find out Sam's fifth period class if she typed in his name, but she needed to get Ms. Pillsbury out of her office first. It was going to be difficult. Ms. Pillsbury didn't leave her office unless she had to go to the restroom or talk to an administrator.

A light bulb went off in Rachel's head.

"Ms. Pillsbury? Is it okay if I go to the restroom?" the brunette asked.

The redhead happily replied. "Of course, Rachel. You don't have to ask to go to the restroom. Just go."

The smaller girl gave her a small smile and exited the office. She went to the restroom down the hall but didn't enter. She stalled. She needed the counselor to think she was using the restroom. Once a minute or two passed she went back to Ms. Pillsbury's office.

"Wow, those restrooms are just so unsanitary," Rachel commented as she entered. Ms. Pillsbury looked up from her computer.

"Why do you say that?" the counselor questioned, concerned.

"Because there is no soap or seat covers and the floors are all wet, not to mention the smell in there is repulsive," Rachel cringed.

The look of disgust on Ms. Pillsbury's face made Rachel smile inside. It was her goal all along. Immediately the counselor stood from her desk.

"That is unacceptable, Rachel. I am going to have to go talk to Principal Figgins about this," the redhead ranted before thrusting a bottle of hand sanitizer into Rachel's hands.

"I'll be back. Don't forget your elbows," Ms. Pillsbury pointed to the bottle of hand sanitizer. Rachel only smiled and nodded.

Once the counselor was out of sight, Rachel hurried to the computer and typed in Sam's name into the student search. When his file popped up she ignored all the information except for his school schedule. According to the computer system, Sam was currently in Pottery with Mr. Whitten. The brunette found it to be quite surprising that Sam was taking pottery. She didn't think he'd be that artsy.

Rachel quickly grabbed a call slip and wrote down Sam's school ID number, classroom number, and the name of the teacher. Once she finished she went back to the screen Ms. Pillsbury previously had it on and went back to her seat. But before she sat down she grabbed the counselor's signature stamp and stamped the forged call slip. She stuffed the slip in her jacket pocket and waited for Ms. Pillsbury to return. She didn't have to wait long, though. The counselor walked in a few minutes later with a satisfied smirk on her face.

The brunette needed to get out of the office but this time she was hoping she didn't have to come back so she asked if she could go to the library to begin on an essay she had for English. Ms. Pillsbury didn't have a problem with it is so she wrote Rachel a hall pass and sent her on her way.

Finding Sam's classroom wasn't hard, but it was pretty far from the office. She had never been to that side of the school before. The halls were covered in murals made by students. It was beautiful. The brunette was so enthralled by the murals that she almost forgot why she was there.

Usually when she delivered call slips she would immediately approach the teacher, but in this case she couldn't even locate him. The room was large and the students were scattered everywhere busy doing different tasks. None of them had even noticed her when she walked in. There was music playing that everyone was bopping their head along too. It was some kind of Bob Marley song.

Rachel had never been a big fan of pottery or sculpting, but now she wished she had picked this class. It looked like so much fun.

Since the brunette couldn't seem to locate the teacher she began to look for Sam. She scanned the class and found him sitting down behind the pottery wheel. He had an apron on and was concentrating on what he was working on which looked like some kind of bowl.

Rachel approached the blond but didn't get his attention. She just watched him as he worked. She didn't want to cause him to mess up whatever he was working on. Eventually, though, Sam noticed she was there and stopped what he was doing.

"Rachel, what are you doing here?" he asked with an amused smile.

The brunette grinned and showed him the call slip. "I came to get you. You are very talented, Sam. That looks amazing," she said awestruck. The bowl looked professionally made.

The blond blushed. "Thanks. I had pottery last year and I really liked it so I wanted to take it again."

Rachel nodded. "Well you're really good."

"Yeah, well this totally beats math," he laughed.

Sam carefully took his bowl off the wheel and put it out to dry. While he did that Rachel looked around at all the amazing things the other students were working on. Some were sculpting, some were on the wheel, and others were painting their creations.

"Okay, ready to go," Sam walked up to her with his backpack in hand. He was no longer wearing an apron.

"But what about your teacher?" Rachel asked, taking another look around the room for him.

"Oh it's totally cool. He doesn't care. As long as we turn in our projects on time he doesn't care if we leave early. Plus, I told him already."

The brunette's brow furrowed. "When? I couldn't find him anywhere."

"Over there," Same pointed to a small room towards the back. "It's his office. He's always in there."

Rachel felt stupid. She hadn't even noticed the tiny room in the back.

The pair left the classroom with Sam following the brunette. They were walking towards the auditorium and Sam spoke up when he realized it was in the opposite direction of Ms. Pillsbury's office.

"Where are we going? Ms. Pillsbury's office is the other way," Sam told her.

"Ms. Pillsbury doesn't need to talk to you. I do." Rachel told him. "I took one of her call slips so I could get you out of class," she said bashfully.

Sam laughed. "Wow, who knew Rachel Berry was such a badass. You know you could have just texted me and I would have met up with you, right?" he chuckled.

The brunette deadpanned. "If I would have known I wouldn't have risked suspension or even expulsion."

Rachel's expression made the blond boy laugh even more. The smaller girl childishly stuck her tongue out at him.

The two headed straight to the stage once they arrived at the auditorium.

"So what's up? Did you wanna rehearse one more time before glee?" Sam asked as he hopped up on the stage, reaching down to help Rachel up.

"Actually," she started as she leaped up on stage with Sam's help. "I wanted to talk to you about something."

He nodded. "Okay. What's up?"

The brunette bit her lip and started playing with her hands. Sam took notice.

"Rachel, are you okay? You seem nervous," he said, concerned.

"It's just that I need to ask you something and I'm finding it a little difficult to do so," she answered honestly.

Sam gave her a smile. "Don't be nervous. It's me. We're friends," he said reassuringly.

Rachel nodded. "I was just thinking of what you told me yesterday… about Quinn liking someone else."

Sam's smile faded a little but he nodded, urging her to continue.

"You said you knew who it was. I didn't ask because I didn't think it was any of my business. But I need to know," she said, swallowing hard and taking a deep breath.

Rachel felt Sam's eyes on her. When she looked up from her hands their eyes met. His eyes were piercing. He didn't look upset, just sad. When a small sad smile appeared on his face the brunette grew confused.

"Something happened between you and Quinn, didn't it?" he asked.

Rachel's eyes widened. "H-How did you know?" she stammered.

"Because you wouldn't be asking me if it didn't."

Rachel looked down at the floor. "You're not going to tell me, are you?" she stated sadly. Her head was screaming that it was her but she needed someone to confirm it because it was too good to be true. Sam was the only person who could tell her the truth.

Sam chuckled. "You already know the answer."

Rachel huffed in frustration. She found Sam to be a little frustrating at the moment with his vague answers. Not to mention the fact that he seemed to find it amusing.

"If it's who I think it is why are you chuckling about it? Why don't you hate me?" she demanded to know. Her frustration was showing.

The amused smile on Sam's face slowly faded. "Why would I hate you?"

The brunette felt like pulling her hair out and slapping Sam in across the face.

"Because Quinn and I… there's something there, and if it's what I think it is then you should hate me," Rachel finally admitted in her short rant. "So tell me, is it me? And if it is, why are you still being so kind to me?" the brunette stood from the bench nervous to hear what the boy had to say.

Sam nodded. "Yeah, it's you," he said sadly.

The brunette was filled with giddiness but at the same time she was still very confused by Sam's behavior.

"And I'm being nice to you because you are my friend, regardless of my girlfriend's feelings for you," he added.

Rachel just looked at him like she couldn't believe a thing he was saying. Confusion was written all over her face. She was expecting him to confront her and tell her to stay away from his girlfriend but none of that was happening and it was too confusing. Sam took notice of this and decided to explain.

"Rachel, I'm not mad at you because it's not your fault. It's nobody's fault. Quinn didn't choose to have feelings for you, she just did," he explained. He looked close to tears and it made Rachel feel bad for pushing him to give her an explanation.

"It sucks," he continued, "it really does. It hurts a lot, but you're my friend and Quinn is my best friend. You didn't do this to hurt me. It just happened. That's why I don't hate you."

Rachel could feel the drumming of her heart throughout her body. It was a very overwhelming sensation. It must have been all of her conflicting emotions that were making her feel that way. Regardless of what Sam told her, she still felt like her feelings for Quinn were wrong.

"I just can't believe that you still consider me a friend," she whispered. "Friends don't do that to each other."

Sam was amused. "Do what exactly? Rachel, you didn't steal my girlfriend from me. Quinn didn't cheat on me with you. Up until today, neither of you knew you had feelings for each other. Well, you didn't. That's why I knew something had happened between you guys during lunch."

Rachel nodded. Something had happened. Something she really couldn't explain.

Sam smiled sadly.

"We didn't kiss or anything," she clarified. "We just… I don't know how to describe it, but I just felt it when she looked at me."

The blond nodded. "That's how I knew. The day we ran into Quinn at the mall, I felt it when you guys looked at each other. It isn't just you that can feel it. People around you can feel it too. You guys are intense."

Rachel blushed. "I'm embarrassed. Not only because I was too stupid to realize it, but because you knew before I did. You and Quinn are together. I'm ashamed for feeling something for her when I know you love her."

Rachel sat back down and looked down at her hands, ashamed. She felt that way ever since she realized she was falling for Quinn. Sam was her friend and she was falling for the love of his life.

The brunette felt Sam put a comforting hand on top of hers.

"Don't feel bad, okay? You didn't do it to hurt me. Like I said, it's nobody's fault. Yes, it sucks that Quinn doesn't love me the way I want her to, but all I've really wanted was for her to be happy. Besides, you're my friend now too. I want you to be happy. There's a reason why I told you all that stuff during lunch. I accept it. No hard feelings," he told her, "and if I'm being honest, I think you two are kind of cute together."

This time it was Rachel's turn to raise a brow. "You think we're cute together? Are you not upset at all?" she exclaimed. Sam's attitude towards the situation was a little hard to believe.

Sam stood from the bench and slowly paced the stage. "Of course I'm upset," he murmured. "Quinn might have not loved me but I'm still in love with her. It hurts a lot."

The blond stopped and faced Rachel. "But I can't deny that the two of you go really well together. I envy it, but at the same time, I think it's pretty cool."

Rachel didn't want to argue or say anything in response. She just nodded and gave him an understanding smile which earned her a smile from Sam in return.

It was quiet between them for a moment. It was a comfortable silence, so neither Sam nor Rachel felt awkward. But it only lasted for a few seconds before the sound of Sam's phone vibrating rang through the auditorium.

Rachel watched as the blond reached into his jean pocket to retrieve his phone. When he looked at the screen a small smile appeared on his face.

"Looks like whatever happened between you and Quinn made an impact on her," he told Rachel as he typed a response.

Rachel's brows furrowed in bewilderment. "Why do you say that?"

Sam looked up from his phone. "Because Quinn wants to talk, which basically means she's going to break up with me," he explained.

The brunette felt a pang of guilt in her chest and frowned.

"Hey, don't do that," Sam called her out.

"Do what?" Rachel frowned.

"Look all guilty. You look like you kicked a puppy on accident or something," he chuckled. The brunette blushed.

"I knew it was coming, okay? I mean, why do you think I chose the song we're going to sing?"

Rachel nodded. It made sense, but she still felt a bit guilty.

Sam sat back down and put a comforting hand on the brunette's shoulder. "Don't feel bad. Just, like, don't make out in front of me… or maybe you should. That would kind of be hot," he teased.

"Hey!" The brunette smacked his arm and laughed, like she would ever do that.

Rachel was still not sure if something was going to happen between her and Quinn. For all she knew the blonde probably didn't even want a relationship with her. It killed Rachel to think it, but she had no idea what was going on inside the blonde's head.

The brunette was also thinking about the fact that she was going to head back to New York in a little more than a month. There was so much to think about and a lot of factors to consider. She was just going to have to wait and see what was going to happen.

Both Sam and Rachel stayed in the auditorium talking until the bell finally rang for sixth period. They were both a little nervous and they headed to the choir room. Rachel was nervous about seeing Quinn, and Sam was nervous about performing their song. When they arrived they were met with a very concerned Kurt who had been trying to get a hold of Rachel. The brunette apologized for failing to let him know she would be walking with Sam. The boy only eyed her. He was going to ask for an explanation later.

When Quinn entered the room Rachel tried her hardest not to look in her direction but failed miserably. She couldn't keep her eyes off of her. Even when the blonde had caught her staring, she couldn't look away. She blushed and gave Quinn a shy smile. The Cheerio smiled in return and winked. Rachel was sure her heart had stopped for a second.

Everybody sat in their seats the moment Mr. Schuester walked into the room. He immediately got right to it and called Brittany and Mike to perform. The duo had decided to perform "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C+C Music Factory. Their dance routine was amazing. They weren't the best vocalists of the group but they were definitely the best dancers.

Quinn and Kurt were called up next and the two walked up gracefully to the front of the room. Rachel had a beaming smile on her face. She was so excited to finally hear the Cheerio sing again, and Kurt too.

As soon as the music started Rachel recognized the song. It was one of her favorites.

(Quinn/Kurt/Both)

Dear, I fear we're facing a problem
You love me no longer, I know
And maybe there is nothing
That I can do to make you do

Rachel couldn't take her eyes off of Quinn as she sang. She loved hearing the blonde's voice. Whether she was singing or just talking, she loved hearing her voice.

Mama tells me I shouldn't bother
That I ought to stick to another man
A man that surely deserves me
But I think you do

So I cry, and I pray and I beg

Love me, love me
Say that you love me
Fool me, fool me
Go on and fool me
Love me, love me
Pretend that you love me
Leave me, leave me
Just say that you need me

So I cried, and I begged for you to

Love me, love me
Say that you love me
Leave me, leave me
Just say that you need me
I can't care about anything but you

The way Kurt and Quinn interacted in a playful way as they sang made the brunette enjoy the performance even more. They were an unlikely duo but they really worked well with this song. They really looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Lately I have desperately pondered
Spent my nights awake and I wonder
What I could have done in another way
To make you stay

Reason will not reach a solution
I will end up lost in confusion
I don't care if you really care
As long as you don't go

So I cry, I pray and I beg

Halfway through the song Quinn had looked over at Rachel and the two girls stared at each other raptly. Most of the glee club was oblivious to what was going on between the Cheerio and the brunette but others noticed.

Love me, love me
Say that you love me
Fool me, fool me
Go on and fool me
Love me, love me
Pretend that you love me
Leave me, leave me
Just say that you need me

So I cried, and I begged for you to

Love me, love me
Say that you love me
Leave me, leave me
Just say that you need me
I can't care about anything but you
Anything but you

Love me, love me
Say that you love me
Fool me, fool me
Go on and fool me
Love me, love me
I know that you need me
I can't care about anything but you

Kurt and Quinn received a loud round of applause and a standing ovation from Rachel. The small brunette gave Kurt a hug as he made his way back to his seat and smiled bashfully at Quinn as she went back to hers. She and Sam were called up immediately to perform. They were the last ones to perform and everyone was eager to hear what song they had chosen. Most of the members were surprised when they heard the first notes to the song.

(Rachel/Sam/Both)

You and me, we used to be together
Every day together, always
I really feel that I'm losing my best friend
I can't believe this could be the end

It looks as though you're letting go
And if it's real, well I don't want to know

Nobody thought much about the fact that they were singing a break-up song―except maybe Quinn. She knew the song was for her. It was devastating as the reality of the situation finally hit her.

Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
I don't need your reasons
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

Our memories, they can be inviting
But some are altogether mighty frightening
As we die, both you and I
With my head in my hands, I sit and cry

As Rachel sang she couldn't help but look at Quinn. She had a sad smile on her face as she watched the brunette sing. Rachel noticed how the Cheerio would glance at Sam and her smile would fade into a frown. It made Rachel realize that Sam and Quinn's break-up was not going to be easy on either of them.

Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts, no, no

Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
And I don't need your reasons
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

It's all ending
We gotta stop pretending who we are

You and me
I can see us dying, are we?

Don't speak
I know just what you're saying
So please stop explaining
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts, no, no

Don't speak
I know what you're thinking
And I don't need your reasons
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts
Don't tell me 'cause it hurts

I know what you're saying
So please stop explaining

Don't speak, don't speak, don't speak, oh
I know what you're thinking
And I don't need your reasons

I know you're good, I know you're good
I know you're real good, oh
La da da da, la da da da da
Don't, don't

Oh, oh
Hush, hush, darling, hush, hush, darling
Hush, hush don't tell me 'cause it hurts
Hush, hush, darling, hush, hush, darling
Hush, hush don't tell me 'cause it hurts

Rachel and Sam ended their performance strong which earned them a loud round of applause and even a standing ovation from a few of the members, including Quinn. The duo just smiled and took their seats

"Wow! I am really impressed! All of you did such an amazing job this week," Mr. Schue clapped as he walked up to the front of the class. He went on to tell the group what his favorite part of each performance was as they still had time left in class.

Rachel felt someone's eyes on the back of her head but she didn't dare look back. She didn't want Mr. Schue to call her out for not paying attention. Ten minutes before school was going to be let out Mr. Schue finally let them talk amongst themselves. Rachel was able to look back but by the time she did everybody was busy talking to each other.

The brunette took a chance and glanced at Quinn, but the blonde seemed to be having a heated discussion with Santana. She really didn't want the Latina calling her out for staring so she instantly looked away.

When the bell rang Rachel watched as Santana dragged a struggling Quinn out of the room with Brittany in tow. Rachel was definitely concerned. She left the choir room with Kurt flanking her side. Sam, Puck and the rest of the football players in glee had left to the boy's locker room to get ready to leave for the game.

"Okay, Spill!" Kurt demanded as soon as they made it out of the halls of McKinley. "Did your little detour with Sam before class having anything to do with the fact that you changed your song from a country song to a rock break-up song?"

Rachel bit her lip. She knew Kurt was going to have questions. She just didn't know how to answer them, so she just started at the beginning. The brunette went over everything that had happened since she and Sam had run into Quinn at the mall. She told him about Sam's decision to change their song selection and how he had figured out that the blonde had feelings for someone else. She then explained why she hadn't been there after fifth period because she had gone to Sam to interrogate him about Quinn. Kurt just looked at her with a grim look on his face. Once Rachel was done telling him what had happened, Kurt told her that he had already known about the blonde's crush on her. This led to him explaining how he had known and the little investigating he had done. Rachel almost couldn't believe it.

"So all this time you knew and you didn't tell me!" she stomped her foot like a petulant child. The boy rolled his eyes.

"Rachel, you were completely clueless when I figured it out. If I would have told you, you probably wouldn't have believed me," he told her.

The brunette stayed quiet. It was true, she wouldn't have believed it. She would have thought he was trying to mess with her, even if he really insisted on it.

"To be honest, it's still hard to believe. I know that there's a chance given the fact that something really intense occurred between the two of us during lunch, but Quinn is just so… wonderful. Too wonderful to like someone like me," she said sadly.

Kurt scoffed. "Are you kidding me, Rachel? Do you know how lucky she would be to have someone like you? If you told me you had feelings for me I'd declare myself bisexual and ride off into the sunset with you!"

Rachel couldn't help but laugh. She could imagine him doing just that.

"So don't say things like that," he continued, "You are just as amazing, if not even more." Kurt wrapped an arm around the smaller brunette as he walked her to her car. Rachel smiled up and him and leaned into his tall frame.

The two walked to Rachel's car and got in. Kurt had left his car at home and opted to ride with Rachel in the morning seeing as she had asked him to ride with her and Mr. Berry to the game in Dayton. They were going to head to her house to get ready for the game and then leave from there.

On the way to the Berry's the two talked more about what had happened between the brunette and Sam during fifth period. She expressed how guilty she felt for what was happening but Kurt immediately told her to stop it. He told her the same thing Sam had said to her, which was that it wasn't her fault. She didn't choose to have feelings for Quinn and neither did the blonde. Rachel was just happy Sam was being very understanding.

"Ok what the hell was all that about?" Santana demanded as soon as they reached the locker room. Quinn glared at the Latina. This is why she could never tell her anything.

"I still don't know what you're talking about," she said stoically as she reached her locker. They didn't have any practice but they had to change into their warm-ups before leaving to Dayton.

"Don't act dumb, Q," the raven haired told her. "I know that there's something going on between you and the hobs. Why can't you just tell me?"

Quinn turned to the Latina. She wasn't ready to tell her friends about her feelings for Rachel. If she was being honest, she was terrified to tell them, but it seemed she didn't have much of a choice. Santana had been on her since glee and she wasn't going to let up until she told her something. Quinn knew she could lie to her and tell her something besides the truth but she hated lying to her friend. So she took a deep breath and told her.

"Fine," she said firmly. "I'm in love with Rachel."

Santana's eyes widened dramatically. That was not what she had expected to hear. She heard Brittany squeal beside her and watched as the bubbly blonde leaped to give Quinn a hug.

"I totally knew you were a unicorn like San and me!" Brittany cheered. "You and Rach always look at each other like you want to give each other lady kisses."

Quinn blushed. She had never realized how obvious she had seemed to them. It was a bit embarrassing.

"So… you're in love with manhands?" Santana asked as if she still couldn't believe it.

The head cheerio glared but nodded.

"What the fuck?" the Latina whispered to herself, but of course the other two blondes heard. "I just thought that you two were like becoming best friends and shit. I thought you were picking her over us. I didn't actually think you liked her like that."

Quinn and Santana heard Brittany laugh. "But San, Quinn would never pick anybody over us. We're her besties! But Rach is so much more. You didn't have to be jealous."

The Latina immediately glared. "I wasn't jealous."

A small smile spread across Quinn and Brittany's face.

"You were, weren't you? You were jealous of Rachel," the head cheerio teased.

Santana eyes narrowed. Yes she had been jealous, but she didn't want to admit it. There was a reason why she didn't like Rachel and that was because she felt like she was taking her best friend from her. Quinn was her only best friend aside from Brittany. She didn't want to lose her to some Barbra Streisand wannabe.

"I wasn't jealous. I just didn't like that you and Barbra were suddenly butt buddies when you had me and Britts," she grumbled.

Brittany and Quinn looked at each other. That was a yes.

"S, I already told you that you and Britt are my best friends. We've been friends since we were in diapers. Nothing is going to change that," the Quinn calmly explained.

"Yeah San," Brittany spoke, "We're the unholy trinity! Nobody can break us up."

Santana shrugged. "Whatever. So like… are you bisexual?" The Latina questioned, changing the subject.

Quinn sighed and took a seat on the bench by her locker. "I don't know. Rachel's the only girl I've ever been attracted to in a romantic sense," she explained.

Both Brittany and Santana took a seat next to Quinn. "Well whatever you are, it's cool with us. We'd kinda be hypocrites if we didn't support you," The Latina told her.

"Yeah, cause we're totally into girls too. I like guys also, but San doesn't so whatever you like is fine with us," Brittany hugged the head cheerio.

"I'm just mind fucked that you like the midget. I mean, she's not terrible looking but still," Santana trailed off.

"I think Rachel is hot!" Brittany grinned. "You do too, San. Don't lie. You're always checking her out."

Santana's face flushed in embarrassment. Quinn glared at her. "Oh really?"

The Latina shrugged. "She's got an alright ass. Like I said, she's not terrible looking."

Quinn just shook her head. Rachel was beautiful and her ass was more than alright.

"I think you and Rachel are totally going to make a hot couple, Q. Are you gonna ask her out?" Brittany asked.

"Yeah, I mean you two were totally eye fucking each other in the choir room. Not to mention the fact that trouty basically broke up with you via song. Do you think he knows about you and the midge?"

Quinn sighed. "I don't know if he knows but he will tonight. I texted him letting him know I wanted to talk. I'm pretty sure he knows I'm going to break up with him, if the song was an indicator than he knows."

Santana gave her a pat on the back. "Well good luck with that, Q. I'm sure trouty won't be too upset. Maybe," she laughed.

The three girls began to get ready. As Quinn was slipping on her warm up pants she received a text message. A smile appeared on her face thinking it was Rachel, but when she took out her phone to check the message her smile instantly disappeared.

I have 2 tlk 2 u. Now – P

Puck. Quinn pursed her lips. What the hell did he want?

AN: So yeah, that's it. Sorry if it was a disappointment. Like i said earlier, next chapter will be better. I promise. I'm pretty sure you guys know what songs were sung in this chapter but in case you don't, Quinn and Kurt sang Lovefool by The Cardigans and Rachel and Sam sang Don't Speak by No Doubt. I always thought it would be cool if Quinn sang Lovefool on Glee. I liked it when Rachel sang it but Dianna Agron's voice would have totally made it better lol
