An: Sooo... I know how many hate bad endings, which this story has. Soo I'm going to be an kind author and make two endings. One planned, one not planned. I will mark each ending as being good or bad so you can either choose to weep, or smile.

Anyway. Yes, this is the final chapter. Why? Because I am losing inspiration and feel winded like this story has gone on for too long... I would prefer to end it while I can rather than give you half-assed written chapter with months between them... I hope that this will be forgiven as I plan on starting another story with Naruto OR Naruko where he/she leaves Konoha and rebuilds Uzu. It will most likely be a Naru x Ten though I haven't dismissed the possibility of a Naruto x Hana... I will write most of the story before posting it so I will be able to update even when I lose focus... anyway. On with the final chapter.

Chapter 21: Final wish, final love

Naruko and the rest of the allied shinobi forces stood in front of the remains of the akatsuki army. There were fewer of them now since Killer-B had managed to kill Kyusuke who had foolishly tried to attack Naruko and him alone and she and Fu had killed Black Zetsu shortly after that making the white Zetsu much weaker. Kisame had been killed by the double lariat of A and B when they had clashed and now there was just The masked man and white zetsu left along with the Isobu.

Killer- B and Han had been more than capable of keeping the Isobu away from the battlefield until now but it was time for this war to end. The remaining jinchuriki had returned but stayed behind the walls of Konoha. Naruko gave the signal for the shinobi behind her to wait as she walked into the middle of the battlefield.

She started flashing through handseals quickly as the white zetsu army started running towards her and suddenly a gate to hell opened. Chains flashed out and grabbed each Zetsu dragging him to hell slowly and painfully as everyone watched in shock. Each time a hell gate opened more than 100 souls had to be fed to it and since there were about 100 zetsu remaining besides the original then Naruko didn't have to worry about herself or her friends being taken. After the gate closed again the masked man walked out to meet her with the final White Zetsu.

Naruko backed away and the allied forces rushed forward. Only to be thrown back by attacks from the masked man and Isobu who suddenly appeared and Killer- B and Han went to fight him off while Naruko continued backing into the lines of shinobi. Summoning a hell gate took most of her chakra which is why she hadn't done it before.

The remaining jinchuriki suddenly rushed out and started fighting the masked man along with White zetsu and Naruko was forced to enter the fray as they tried to take him down. It was no secret that he was almost godly in power and their army was exhausted.

That was when Oto decided to shown it's ugly face and started fighting alongside the akatsuki and Orochimaru joined the fight against the jinchuriki before he was dragged off by Jiraya and Tsunade who had a bone to pick with him.

Naruko struck over and over with her claws as the masked man dodged attacks from Gaara and Yugito as well. After what seemed like hours she managed to slash at his arm breaking his focus on becoming transparent and Yugito was able to pierce his heart as Gaara crushed him with his sand, revealing Madara Uchiha.

Naruko sighed in relief that the war was over despite the few remaining Oto shinobi who were quickly being killed off by the shinobi around her and Naruko saw her cousin Karin, walking towards her with a smile.

"Hey blondie." Karin said and Naruko smiled at that, and walked forward embracing the girl, they hadn't seen each other for months so it was nice to see that she was safe.

Tenten walked up at that moment and started looking Naruko over for injuries much to Naruko's ire but she knew the girl was just trying to show she cared. Karin just watched the scene with an amused smile as one of Nagato's paths walked up with Konan. It seemed everyone was safe and sound so they headed back to the village as Tsunade and Jiraya killed Orochimaru once and for all and the remaining Oto shinobi were finished and people started cheering.

The next few days were spent in celebration. Everyone co-existing for once and the five kage and future successors or guards spent time together relaxing or talking about future peace as none of them felt like waging more wars with more bloodshed and pain. So it was agreed upon that once a year a grand competition would be held where shinobi could show off their skills without fatalities and gain rank that way like the chunin exams were but without bloodshed.

It was also agreed upon that no village would be allowed to take missions from another villages country since it was necessary for the economy of hidden villages to be given good amount of missions especially in their own lands. Jinchuriki were also given honorary station in their villages and it was agreed on that the Tailed demons would be released back into the world when their jinchuriki died and they would not be sealed again and the tailed demons agreed to not attack any villages or harming humans.

After a week of celebration a new golden age begun. With all hidden villages blooming in peace and Naruko walked through the streets of konoha which were busy but peaceful. She was heading towards the golden spear to pick up Tenten for a date. She was planning on asking the girl to marry her and due to that she was dressed in a white dress shirt and a pair of black dress pants. Her shirt had the top 2 buttons unbuttoned and she was wearing black sneakers for comfort.

She saw Tenten waiting in a red dress outside the golden spear and was awed once more by the girls beauty. She had her hair down for once instead of the usual buns and it just made her look more beautiful. Naruko walked up and Tenten gave her a smile before taking the blond's arm and letting the blond lead her to the BBQ restaurant that they had first dined at together a few years earlier.

Chouji was their server that night as they had planned and the ring was going to be revealed when they had finished eating and Naruko waved him over. They ordered their food and chatted about how peaceful everything was and if it was going to last.

"I know that peace usually never lasts, but that's usually because of someone tipping the balance by being powerhungry or greedy and we are trying to figure out ways to make sure that it doesn't happen again. No one feels like causing more pain by going to war again." Naruko said as Chouji brought their food to them and they started cooking it on the grill in front of them.

"True. I sure hope it lasts. So that any children from our generation get a chance to live in peace without having to worry about tomorrow. Though with you in charge in the future it might be possible that peace will last forever. If we make sure that people know the price of war in the future it will possibly never happen again. With missions being split evenly between villages it will at least last for awhile." Tenten replied as the meat was cooking and they continued discussing this back and forth along with other things. Like the newest news from people in their age group.

Neji was being married off to some distant cousin of his while Hinata and Kiba had started courting each other with Hiashi's permission. Shino had started to court Naruko's cousin Karin who was smitten with his Chakra and didn't mind his bugs. Konan and Nagato had gotten married now that Nagato wasn't emancipated by the demon statues rods and Naruko had actually gotten him to summon the statue once again and used her wind affinity to destroy the statue making sure no one would ever be able to use the ten tails against them in the future.

Once they finished eating Naruko waved Chouji over as she made a show of getting something from the floor and instead got on one knee in front of Tenten as Chouji placed the ring in Naruko's hand and she looked at the woman before her before speaking.

"Tenten Higurashi, we may have had our troubles in the past. But there is no other woman who I would want to start more trouble with in the future other than you. So will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Naruko asked feeling nervous.

"Yes. I will marry you Naruko Uzumaki Namikaze, though I would prefer that no trouble came our way." Tenten said and Naruko slid the ring onto the other girl's finger before kissing her as she stood up and they heard loud cheering all around and saw their friends standing there with big smiles.

Naruko actually blushed along with Tenten and then they went to celebrate with everyone. The future was bright.

Naruko saw a chance to pierce the man through the heart with her claws and took a powerful swing at him before piercing his heart as his mask fell off revealing Madara Uchiha.

The man smirked before Naruko felt a quick stab of pain in her chest area and looked down with a shocked expression seeing a sword made of pure chakra piercing her heart. She watched as the sword vanished in a flash and blood started to fill her lungs and mouth and she fell to her knees.

At least she would not die falling backwards since that was a shameful death in her eyes.

(an: In Icelandic viking legends the bravest men tried to die falling forward, as it meant that they fought to the last, if they fell onto their backs it meant they were giving up or falling back from the fight which was despicted as cowardly by most/some.)

She saw people screaming but couldn't hear anything through the white sound in her ears except for the Kyuubi's roar as he was being released back into the world though he seemed to be weeping over it, it seemed that the big old fur ball actually cared for her. She saw the red chakra manifesting itself behind her friends and actually gave a small bloody smile as he made obvious tries to not crush anyone.

She saw Gaara rushing to her side with Tsunade following and Tenten who looked scared out of her wits. Killer- B and the rest of the jinchuriki joined shortly after which told her that the Isobu was gone. Naruko fought to keep consciousness as her hearing returned and she was bombarded with questions. She was not wearing her jounin vest which made it quite obvious that she had been stabbed through the heart and yet people were asking her if she was alright and they could see the Kyuubi which was an obvious sign she was dying and yet that was asked.

Naruko let out a gurgled sigh at the stupidity and saw Tsunade try to heal her even though the woman obviously knew it was futile. Not even Naruko could take a cut through the heart and survive.

"Naruko you can't die, you aren't allowed to die!" Tenten said freaking out as Yugito held her back from shaking the dying girl but still allowed her to be close.

"Tenten..." Naruko choked out and the girl was let past Yugito who decided to stand behind the girl making sure she would never fall onto her back and the Kyuubi shrinked his form somehow and got close in a form no bigger than a horse as Kage rushed past all of the people around her and went to his humans side.

"Kit... I'm sorry..." Kurama said and Naruko just gave him a sad smile, she didn't know what was keeping her alive or going but she could feel the darkness tugging at her consciousness and she just embraced Tenten and Tsunade at the same time and said her final wish as she let go of her final breath as Karin and Nagato walked into the scene looking sad.

"Live." Naruko said and let go of her last breath and joined her parents in the afterlife. Nagato and Karin would repopulate the clan and make her proud. She was sure of that.
