Chihiro opened her eyes, realizing she was lying on a soft sofa. She sat up, looking around with a blank face. She was still in the founder's office. "Good morning," a voice greeted. Looking to her left, Lord Daichi was sitting at the table with a warm cup of coffee. "G-Good morning," she stammered, trying to straighten out her bed hair. He chuckled, setting the cup down on the glass table. "Has anyone come by?" the teenager anxiously asked. The spirit shook his head, standing up.

"At some point you have to tell them," he murmured, walking towards the balcony. The girl glanced down at her palms, silently hoping for any flames to appear. "I know," she replied. Taking Ryuu's cloak, she threw it over her shoulders. "I'm going to change," she said before shutting herself in the bathroom. As the ancient spirit paced around through the room, Chihiro slid down, leaning against the door of the bathroom.

Kiyo... she pondered. Just wait a little longer. Meanwhile, Ryuu appeared from the balcony, hearing the mumbles of the founder. "Lord Daichi," he spoke. "What should we do about the other students? I mean, we can't have innocent spirits in this battle." Daichi shook his head. "Neither should Chihiro be in this. Her powers are cursed, so how will she fight?" He bit his lip, continuing to pace around.

The teenager appeared from the bathroom, wearing a bright, short green yukata. Underneath she wore white shorts matching her white laced geta. "It's my decision," she spoke, overhearing what the two were discussing about. "It will be my fault if anything happens to them or even myself." Turning away, she hid herself within Ryuu's ragged cloak. As she walked away, Ryuu opened his mouth to argue.

But when he noticed the ancient spirit stare at her with glittering, hopeful eyes, he sighed. "Please remain here while we go to the arena," he said before bowing. Lord Daichi returned to the balcony, watching as the two met with the rest of the students. "Kal, Ms. Lulu," he called. The two spirits immediately appeared behind him, bowing for an order. "Once it breaks out, please evacuate everyone out of the academy grounds," the ancient spirit ordered. "Yes sir," the two spoke in unison.

"Sen! Ryuu sensei!" a high pitched voice called out. Noboru, Yui, and Usagi were running towards them, slowing down to catch their breath. "You guys really came," Ryuu frowned. It took a moment for Yui to take a few more breaths before replying to him. "Are you kidding?" she finally spoke. "When we said we were going to come, we were going to come. But, Suzume didn't 'want to get into trouble' so she stayed behind." Ryuu sighed, walking off towards the direction of the arena. Chihiro, on the other hand, stared after the group, who excitedly ran after the fourth year.

"You realize this isn't going to be a fun field trip," Chihiro spoke. Yui stopped, causing Usagi to bump into her. "I know," she spoke softly. "I'm not going to run. Not like what I did to Chihiro." The teenager flinched, realizing Yui still remembered her human self. "Oh, sorry," the spirit blinked, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. "You guys don't know her..." Ryuu was already at the gate, calling out to the group. The girl followed the rest from behind, making sure nothing was following them. Once they all reached the entrance to the training arena, the wind dragon took in a deep breath. "There's no turning back now," he muttered.

Everyone nodded, except for Chihiro. She remained silent throughout their walk, as if trying to distance herself from the group. "Sen?" Ryuu's gentle voice called out to her. She looked up, tightening her grip around his cloak. "Let's go," she nodded. Usagi inched closer to her, holding her hand. She smiled, trying to assure the girl. Ryuu and Noboru opened the doors, which led to their ultimate and final battle.
