Hey everyone!
For starters, despite this chapter being quite long, it may be relatively rushed and I apologize for that. I know it's been unbelievablylong since I've updated, but my idea for this chapter was just very straight to the point. I hope it will still be enjoyable for everyone.
With that being said, I've decided that I will be ending this story very soon. I know I asked everyone's opinions about the idea of more drama or OC's and I actually did have ideas for future chapters, but because I don't update as often as I do and have other stories that I'd like to start and finish, I believed it was time to put this.. well, 7-year long story to an end. I also have a lot more real life responsibilities to deal with and this hobby doesn't do me justice. Maybe I could ask for donations but it wouldn't be right and I'm not that good at writing anymore like I used to. And anyways, I think what we all have so far is very fitting for an ending, don't you think?
Honestly, if I feel like I've gotten back to the groove of writing, and people really do want me to continue writing for this story, then I'll reconsider about keeping it going. Otherwise, please stay tuned for the final chapters. It was fun writing for all of you and thank you for sticking with me through everything. Thank you!

Chapter 17 – The Ultimate Awakening Part 3
As she hesitantly stretched her arm towards Taro, Kagami immediately stood up and leaned forward, wrapping an arm around her stomach and a hand over her mouth. "Ugh! Blar-"
Bam!
"Don't you dare think about it." Taro demanded as he violently shoved Kagami against the wall. Wincing in pain and the feeling of throwing up went away due to the sudden fear, Kagami slowly nodded her head. They stared straight into each other's eyes as she guided Taro to lay back down and placed a wet towel over his forehead. Taro's heavy breathing was heard in the quiet area that was shown to be a poorly built treehouse. Kagami just watched as Taro closed his eyes and relaxed again. She took this time to look at her surroundings and the treehouse brought back many memories of their youth.
"Why did you bring me here?" She asked as she looked down at Taro. She only saw as his eyes scrunched up and he grunted.
"What do you mean by why? Stupid." He calmly responded back as he continued to lay with his eyes closed. Kagami looked around the hut once more and only thought about how this was the very same treehouse they built together as their secret hideout. It was around the beginning of their relationship when everything used to be so sweet and loving. It was quite some time ago that was. But, Kagami just took a deep breath and looked to side.
"I-I need to clean your wound now." Kagami quietly spoke as she took another wet rag out of a bucket. Carefully dabbing and cleaning dried blood off of Taro's cheek and eyebrow, Taro felt a pinch of pain and his instant reaction was to smack Kagami's hand away and push her shoulder. The rag flew out of her hand and Kagami scrunched her eyebrows, having enough of the treatment. "Taro, if you want me to help you then stop being like this."
"How about just being gentler!" He angrily retorted as he gripped at Kagami's wrist. Kagami sighed while shaking her head in disappointment as she took her wrist back and reached for the rag again, but when she faced back at Taro, he was surprisingly smirking at her. She only gave him a confused look. "Good, you better not think about throwing up again.." As Taro relaxed once more and closed his eyes, Kagami stared at Taro with reflection and the feeling of her heart flutter once more as it did in the past. She realized that her upchuck reflexes had come to a stop as she willingly stood up against him. And she knew deep down that Taro was only being like this to condition her body to not react so vulgar around men. Taking a short glance at her hands with sadness, she reached back up and tried to be even more delicate when tending to Taro's injuries.
"H-how'd you get in this condition anyways?" Kagami stuttered as she wet the rag some more and continued cleaning his face. Taro opened his eyes again and ordered "stop stuttering" before turning his head towards her. As they met eye to eye, it felt as if their surroundings vanished and they were the only ones who could understand each other in the big world. Kagami, especially, had a rush of memories that reminded her of why she even fell in love with Taro in the first place. And as both of them instantly felt a spark between each other, they quickly averted their eyes in opposite directions. "Is she still doing this to you after all this time?" Taro looked down and clenched his fists. Kagami worriedly looked back at him. "If it really gets bad, you should just repo-.."
"I should.. but I can't. You know how it is." Taro interrupted as he bit his lip and gave a very regretful expression.
"But she's not even taking care of you anymore. Look at you! You have a really bad fever and she got you good on the face." Even though Kagami was slightly raising her voice and using a lot of hand gestures, Taro just sadly smiled at her and then looked down once more. Really feeling that unhappy smile Taro gave, Kagami placed her hand on Taro's cheek and used her thumb to comfort him. She wasn't really sure why her reaction was to do that, but she felt like she had to. She had to like she used to back then. Her chest was tightening. Taro sighed again as he took a hold of Kagami's hand and pushed his face closer to her palm to feel the warmth. Kagami jolted by his sudden reaction but allowed him to continue to do so. Without thinking, she followed up by using her other arm to wrap around him in an embrace.
"I'll be okay though.. because I have you."
After staying a little bit longer with Hisako, everyone believed that it was time to visit the Hara's. Due to Hisako's situation, she was in no condition to tag along, but she was actually the one that suggested everyone to go visit them immediately. Knowing that the girls may be moving to America really concerned Hisako because she didn't want to be separated from her friends now that she was free to do as she pleased without secrecy. And everyone knew that her worry was because she was unaware of Kagami's dispute with her second family that became the underlying reason for their change in scenery.
The car ride was going to be significantly shorter than it took them to get to Kyouya's hospital, but it didn't mean that they couldn't think about how they were going to approach this plight. For everyone, a part of them was glad that it was almost over. They were already worn out for going everywhere and feeling all these rush of emotions that they don't go through on a daily bases. But a part of them knew that they couldn't take the situation lightly.
As Haruhi was familiar with the neighborhood she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Okay, guys. Focus." Haruhi started as she looked out the car window. They were just a few minutes away now from the Hara's apartment complex. Everyone's mind came back to them and they turned their attention to her. "Learning about Naoya's and Sukina's household problem was a big shock, and Hisako's situation could've been a lot worse." She then faced the male twins with a serious gaze. "We have to expect anything."
The twins gulped and stared at each other. As Hikaru looked down, Kaoru looked at Haruhi. "So far we know that Kagami has just had the worst predicament with the males in her life. We're dealing with two different scenarios." Hikaru tightly closed his eyes and felt really weak. The car became uncomfortably quiet as everyone started to feel bad for Kagami. She seemed to have it the hardest. But they also knew that it must be really hard on Maika to see her sister, her best friend, going through all this and there wasn't anything she could do. Everything that she wanted to protect her from, she couldn't and that's what's eating her up.
As the car ride continued to stay silent, the twins, once again, looked at each other. They knew that there was one other missing piece to this tragedy. The fact that they couldn't tell the girls apart when they looked so similar. They held each other's hands and looked out the window together. They were honestly feeling scared and ashamed. They weren't sure on how to face the girls. Maybe they wouldn't even want to speak with them. But they knew one thing. Haruhi was right – Hikaru liked Kagami and Kaoru had a thing for Maika.
But despite this, they both knew they would have to find the courage to fix their mistakes and help the girls with their underlying problems. And they had already come up with a way to situate one of them.
"We're here." Tamaki broke the silence. Everyone took a deep breath while the twins stiffened. They still felt like they weren't prepared in facing the girls. However, they both flinched and looked down as Haruhi had placed a hand on their clasped hands with a reassuring smile on her face. They felt a bit relieved that they had friends to support them so they looked at each other and nodded their heads.
As the car came to a stop, they all noticed a police officer at the girls' apartment door. Everyone's face dropped with concern or suspicion, however all they heard was mumbling from a distance and the officer nodding their head before taking their leave. One of the twins was at the doorstep looking worriedly at the officer who left before she closed the door. The host club all bowed slightly as the officer walked past them and into his mobile. "This is different.." Everyone nodded their heads and made their way upstairs to the girls' home.
"I'm coming!" An annoyed shout was heard through the door. The host club waited patiently as they heard fumbling noises. When the door swung open, a wide-eyed twin gasped and quickly turned to annoyance. "What are you guys doing here? I don't have any time for this." She immediately turned around and walked right into a bed room across the living room. The host club wasn't sure what to do because they weren't exactly invited in, but the girl had left the door wide open for them. Nonetheless, they all decided to walk right in and just stood waiting in the living room.
"- alright." The female twin said as she left the bedroom and walked into the kitchen, completely ignoring everyone. After a few minutes, she came back out with a bowl of porridge and a damp towel and walked right back into the bedroom. Everyone patiently waited as she did her thing. Just then the door opened once more and the twin looked over her shoulder with a sad smile. "Just get some rest. I'll take care of everything else.." At that, she closed the bedroom door and took a deep breath. Hikaru slowly looked at Kaoru who was only staring straight at her.
"What happened? Why was there a police officer at your doorstep?" Kaoru spoke first as the room stayed quiet. The female twin stood silent for a couple more seconds before facing the group with narrowed eyebrows. Her gaze didn't meet anyone's but to the side.
"I don't have any time to speak to you guys. I need to leave right now." She spoke as she made a sharp turn to take a light coat from a closet. She continued to avoid everyone's gaze as she walked past them to get to the door, but she had stopped in her tracks when she felt a hand grabbing onto her wrist. She looked up and saw Kaoru with a very determined appearance. "What do you wa-"
"Maika." Kaoru softly spook while confidently staring at her. Maika's eyes widened with sadness and then quickly averted her eyes to avoid his. "Maika.. I'm sorry. We're sorry for everything." Everyone watched as they could see Maika bite her lip.
"You really hurt us, Hiitachin." She spook as she dropped to her knees. Kaoru shut his eyes tightly because of the shame but kneeled down to her and brought her into a tight hug. Maika didn't react as she was still feeling certain emotions that were confusing her.
"I like you, Maika. I think we were just confused by the sudden change that we couldn't think clearly. But you're the one that I like. I know that for a fact." Kaoru continued as he looked up at his brother with a slightly smile. Hikaru only returned the smile but Kaoru knew that in the back of his mind, he was wondering where Kagami was. However, Kaoru felt a push on his shoulder and when he looked down at Maika she was still looking down.
"I'm sorry, Kaoru. I just.. can't. You really messed with our heads." She muttered softly. Kaoru's eyes widened by the rejection, but when Maika looked up she had this certain driven expression on. He became confused by her change in attitude. "And I have something more important to be concerned about."
"What do you mean?" Kaoru asked. However, as he helped Maika stand up she just looked dead straight towards Hikaru causing everyone else to look at him.
"My sister is missing." Everyone freaked out by this information.
"What!?" Hikaru shouted in complete shock and concern. Maika closed her eyes briefly and then went for the door again.
"Taro kidnapped her.. And I think I know where he took her."
"Doesn't this place bring back memories?" Taro casually asked as he was eating a quick meal and sitting crossed legged on the floor. Kagami stood up and examined her surrounding once more. "We built it near the end of our elementary years. And this is where I asked you to be my girlfriend in middle school." Kagami closed her eyes and grunted because she really didn't want to think about the past. The past where they had built this treehouse together to get away from their families. Taro had an abusive single mom and Kagami felt disposable because their dad left to be with another women. But it was so long ago. The treehouse was now filled mostly with painful memories. But when she turned back around to look at Taro, he was still looking down at his food. She just felt hurt. The man she loved wasn't the same as he was before and she wondered if he even knew that. "Kagami?"
"I.. I think I should get going." Kagami hesitantly replied as she turned around and slowly started to walk away. However, she flinched by the sound of the food splattering onto the ground and arms wrapping around her body. She shook head continuously.
"Stay with me, Kagami." Taro whispered near her ears. She felt a shiver run down her spine by the sound of his voice. But she only hung her head low and covered her ears. "Please.." At that, Kagami immediately made Taro release her and she forcibly shoved him by the shoulders. She saw Taro with pained wide-eyes.
"Yo- I won't stand around to be abused any longer! I've given you too many chances when you still loved me. But that's not the case anymore." She yelled desperately as she backed up and hit the wall. "And now, you can't just treat me terribly one second and then act like you love me the next!" However, no response was enacted so she slowly looked back up at Taro again. He was just giving her a very bittersweet smile.
"I'm not acting, Kagami. I do love you." He softly said as he looked to the side. Kagami's eyes widened and she felt her chest tighten once more.
"You're wrong, Taro. You don't love someone by hurting them and threatening them." She responded a lot more calmly than before. They stared at each other in silence for a couple seconds, until Taro sadly sighed.
"You don't understand.." Taro stated as he just brought an arm up to cover his eyes. She only looked at him confused. "I had to.. I was always afraid you'd leave me." Kagami could clear see his lips shaking like he was about to cry. "I.. had to use fear. I didn't know what else to do. If I acted like this then you'd be too afraid to leave me or refuse me. I wanted you all to myself.." Kagami could tell that his voice was starting to shake. She was extremely shocked because this was a side she never knew of him unless it had to do with his mom.
"Taro.. you can't do that.." She disappointingly told him as she gave him a nurturing expression. Taro lowered his arms to listen to her entirely. "You don't love someone like that. You can't be like your mom. You should understand that the most." Taro gasped lightly because he never really thought about it like that. That's why he always ran away to hide after he faced trouble at home. He finally understood that Kagami was just like himself.. and he was regretting every second of it. "If you love someone, you want to take care of them, understand them, and trust them.."
"Kagami!?" As she heard her name being called out by a familiar voice, Taro briskly walked up to Kagami and securely embraced her. His sudden action stiffened Kagami because she didn't know how to react.
"Please don't go out there. I'll change for you.. I'll be better! You're the only one that understands me. If you go to America, I'll be alone. If you go to them, I'll have no one.." Taro sadly expressed as Kagami could feel him tighten his embrace. Feeling like she finally understood Taro all these years, she brought both her arms up and returned the hug and dug her face into the curve of his neck. Taro was shocked that she would do so but he accept it. But after a couple of seconds, Kagami pushed Taro's shoulder slowly so that they weren't holding onto each other anymore. Taro looked at her with a sadden surprise.
"Taro, I will always love you.." Kagami started as she gave him a very sincere smile. Taro knew where it was going to lead to so he sadly smiled back at her, "..but it just wasn't meant to be. I've changed and I.. like someone else now." Taro closed his eyes and slowly nodded his head finally accepting the closure between the two.
"I know.." He softly responded back as he leaned forward and gave Kagami a very light kiss on the cheek. Kagami brought a hand over the place he kissed and then watched as he started leaving the treehouse. She gasped lightly and followed after him. There at the bottom of the treehouse was the entire host club with very worried looks. Maika was also there with an angry expression. Everyone watched as he jumped down to the ground. Kagami was shocked by his action and quickly threw the ladder so she could get down herself.
"You bastard! How dare y-"
"Maika, hold on a second! Stop!" Kagami yelled as she interrupted Maika from saying anymore and behaving aggressively. Taro brushed himself and turned back around to look at Kagami. They looked at each other once more with a very solace expression.
"Kagami, I'll come back for you.. as a better person. Even if we can't be together anymore.. I hope we can still be friends in the future.." He said quiet enough for only Kagami to hear.
Kagami only responded with a genuine smile, so Taro gave her a very confident grin and then turned around to face the entire host club who were waiting nervously. Still trying to appear cool and tough, Taro scoffed and gave them a smug look. He brought a hand to scratch the back of his head and started walking towards their direction. As he got to Hikaru, which he guessed because he had the most worrisome expression out of the other twin, he slapped his hand on his shoulder and paused.
"I hope you can love her the way I couldn't. I'm trusting you on this." He quietly muttered as he lowered his head and smiled to himself. At that, he finally left and Kagami could be seen giving Taro a very peaceful expression.
As soon as he was a distance from everyone, Maika ran up to Kagami and gave her a big hug. "Kagami! I was so worried. You were gone for a while.. He didn't do anything to you, did he?" Kagami shook her head.
"No. I don't think he'll be bothering me anymore." She quietly answered as she smiled at her twin. Kagami, this time, pulled her sister in for another hug and then noticed the host club approaching the both of them. Maika and the male twins were pretty surprised that she didn't seem like she was going to vomit by the sight of all the guys.
"Kagami.." Hikaru started as he walked up to her. Maika stepped back a bit to let them talk. "Kagami, I just wanted to say that I was sor-"
"It's okay, Hikaru." Kagami interrupted as she knew that he was going to apologize for misidentifying the girls. She placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile. "You don't have to apologize. It was a mistake.." Kagami then pulled Hikaru for a very warm hug and despite Hikaru being surprised for her reaction and understanding, he gave her a hug back. But when she let go of the hug, Hikaru noticed that her smile became disheartened. "But it's going to take a lot more than sorry to fix everything.." Hikaru sighed and gave her a very understanding smile.
"I know."
"Why are we here?" Both Kagami and Maika asked as they nervously saw their second family's home from the car window. Not one of the host club members responded so they patiently waited to understand what was going to happen. As they got out of the car and approached the house, the door opened to reveal the step-brother that had harassed Kagami. Kagami took a big gulp and frighteningly hid behind Maika who was only pissed at the host club for taking them here. But all the step-brother did was hang his head low and let everyone inside. Both female twins could see that he had a decently-sized bruise on his cheek and a bandage on his lip. They were quite surprised to see him act very cowardly around the Hitachin's, Mitsukuni and Takashi.
As he lead everyone though the house, they got to the living room and noticed the step-mom and dad sitting at the couch. The dad seemed very serious and stern while Ame was very annoyed and angry. "Dad?" Maika spoke as the female twins quickly made their way to him. He quickly stood up and hugged both his daughters and kept his arms around them.
"Kagami. Maika." Tamaki started as he casually sat down at one of the chairs provided for everyone. He and the others had a very serious atmosphere around them. "Yesterday, we approached your step-brother and got him to admit his infidelity. With the help of Hikaru and Kaoru, we were able to record it." Kyouya opened his black book and showed everyone a tape recorder. "After talking about it with your dad, we all wanted to turn the evidence in. However, we thought that it should be your decision." At that, Kyouya walked over to the female twins and dad and personally handed Kagami the recorder.
"Mine..?" Kagami was feeling a lot of pressure. On one hand, she knew that it was the right thing to turn the evidence in. He did something very bad and he should be punished for it. She thought that maybe he would end up doing it again if he didn't have to pay for the consequences. But on the other hand, she really believed in second chances. Maybe what her step-brother did was just one big mistake that he regretted and wouldn't do again. He also didn't do anything too extreme. "I thin-"
"Don't you even dare think about turning that evidence in." Ame threatened as she glared directly at Kagami. Kagami flinched by the sudden hostile attitude. Ame then looked at the host club and angrily stood up. "I bet you just coerced my son into saying such a thing! He would never do something so inappropriate!"
"But I did.." The step-brother finally spoke as he hung his head low. Everyone gasped as he got on his knees and properly bowed towards the female twins and dad in shame. "I really am sorry. I don't know what came over me. But I honestly do regret that day! I was so ashamed, which is why I didn't continue any further! Please believe me.."
"How despicable.. You are no son of mine." Ame disappointingly muttered as she scoffed and sat down look away from everyone in annoyance. However, the brother didn't react an inch to his mother's tantrum.
"Whether you believe me or not.. I will accept whatever decision you choose. It's only right." He earnestly informed as he stayed low on the ground. Feeling so many emotions going through her in one day, Kagami signed and kneeled down to her brother. She placed a hand on top of his head causing him to get up to look at her with tears rolling down his cheeks.
"I won't turn in the evidence. I'll believe you.." Kagami started off as she closed her eyes tightly because she felt like some people would be disappointed in her decision. But she then looked down at the tape recorder and squeezed it in her hands. "But I'll be keeping this, just in case." She gave a sly grin at her brother and he laughed at her as he nodded his head. Without any more interaction, they both stood up and parted.
"One more thing.." The dad spoke as he turned around and took out some papers from a folder. He walked over to his wife and slammed it on the table. "I want a divorce." Ame gasped and stood up with arms crossed.
"Excuse me!?" She furiously shouted at him. He only stood his ground and walked over to his daughters.
"I don't want to be with someone who doesn't access a serious situation like this. You're a coward and irresponsible. I want a divorce." He explained as he narrowed his eyebrows. Ame shook her head in anger and then grunted.
"Fine! I don't want to be with someone who is causing so much trouble for my family anyways! We should've never got married!" She shouted as she abruptly snatched the paper from the table and stormed off. The step-brother bowed slightly towards everyone and followed after his mom.
"Yay! I'm so glad things seemed to have turned out well!" Mitsukuni shouted happily as everyone was glad that the worst had ended. "That means you won't have to be moving to America anymore, right?"
"I think we might just be staying here after all.." Kagami and Maika both told them with a big smile on their faces. The host club signed with relief and just before Hikaru and Kaoru could approach the twins, the dad gave a quick kiss at the top of his daughters' heads and smiled.
"Let's go see your mother."
"Oh my! Maika! When I realized you weren't home, I became so worried!" Hana cried as she appeared surprised to see everyone at her doorstep. She got down on her knees and pulled both Kagami and Maika into a hug. "And Kagami! I was so worried. You were gone for so long. I even called the officers to search for you.." The female twins gave their mom a big long hug before letting go and stepping to the side. As she got up, she noticed the girls' dad waiting patiently. She tilted her head in confusion. "Rei? What are you doing here?"
"Hana, will you marry me? Again?" He asked with no hesitation. He immediately took a hold of Hana's hands. "I still love you, you know." Hana blushed and looked to the side. However, Kagami and Maika looked at each other.
"Dad.. I love you and really missed you. But.." Kagami started as she stepped closer to her parents. ".. don't you think this is wrong? You were just with Ame but you say you still loved mom? You left us for another women!" Maika yelled as she got closer as well and wrapped an arm around Kagami. Both girls were feeling hurt because they were thinking that their dad was the type of person who could never be confident in their feelings. They were worried that, he would just end up hurting the family once again. But they just saw their dad look down with a sad smile.
"No, honey.." Hana started off as she looked at her daughters with a regretful smile. "I was the one that divorced your father.." Everyone gasped at the confession, even the host club. "Ame was my best friend, and back then, her friendship meant a lot to me. Despite your birth and your father raising you for a couple of years, her bitterness never receded. So I left him. However, I ended up learning that she was just never a good friend in the first place. I always regretted giving your father to Ame because soon after, she stopped being my friend and continued to hold a grudge towards me. Probably because your father still only cared about us.." Hana looked over towards Rei and gave him a sweet smile. He gave her a loving smile back and embraced the love of his life. "But, I don't understand. Why now? What happened?"
"I couldn't stand living there any longer.. especially because of what happened to my daughter. And anyways, I could never love her like the way I love you." He explained as he gave his wife an affectionate kiss on the lips. Kagami and Maika slightly teared up at the reconciliation between their parents and they were overjoyed that they were going to have a happy completed family once again. "Come, let's get you back in bed. You must be exhausted." At that, Rei guided his wife back into the bedroom, leaving the girls alone with the host club.
"I'm really happy for you guys. It must've been hard to know happened between your parents. But I'm glad that things are looking up." Haruhi started as she walked up to Kagami and Maika to give them a short hug. The twins returned the hug and smiled at her. Before any further, Tamaki and Kyouya walked up the twins and the three of them told the Hara sisters about everyone else's situation.
"Wow. That's really good. Good for you, Kyouya. Finally manning up. Hisako is very lucky to have you." Kagami teased as she slightly elbowed Kyouya on the side. Kyouya didn't say a word but only responded by pushing up his glasses to form a glare on them. She slightly snickered. Maika on the other hand, went over to Mitsukuni and Takashi.
"Hey, thanks for sticking up for Naoya and Sukina. They have it really hard because of Naoya's dad. It must be the hardest for her. Please continue to support them. I'm trusting you." Maika declared as she placed a hand on her waist and squinted her eyes and both of them.
"Of course I'll be there for Sukina! With her condition, she's going to need a lot of support. And I have just enough sweets to help her through it!" Mitsukuni cried with a big smile on his face. He then climbed onto of Takashi and pointed down at him. "And Takashi will make sure that no one bullies Naoya anymore! He'll make sure to train her to make her the very best! Right, Takashi?"
"Of course." Takashi responded with a faint but true smile on his lips. Maika reflected the smile back to the two. She lightly laughed at how confident they were being and then walked over to her sister as the others huddled up.
"Kagami, I'm glad we were able to resolve everything. You don't know how hard it was for me to see you in so much trouble and pain.." Maika uttered quietly towards her sister. She gave her sister one more tight hug and Kagami returned it.
"I'm sorry for worrying you. You must've grown some white hair from all the stress, huh?" Kagami joked as she snickered lightly. Maika grunted and playfully slapped her sister on the arm while shaking her head. As they turned around, they were both face to face with the Hiitachin twins. Both girls felt a bit awkward facing them, but the guys just continued to stare at them without hesitation.
"Thanks.. For helping us.. You have no idea how much it means to us." Maika started as she took a hold of her sister's hand and looked down. Kagami did that same as she let her sister speak. "Not only did you try to help my sister with our step-brother, but you also helped our parents get back together. We don't know how to repay you.."
"You don't have to. We did it because you mean a lot to us and we wanted to help in any way we could." Hikaru spoke as he looked directly at Kagami. Kaoru did the same towards Maika. "We also felt responsible for hurting you guys that one day." Kagami and Maika both shook their heads and finally smiled at the Hiitachin twins. "You know that I care about you, Kagami."
"And you know how I feel about you, Maika." Kaoru spoke for his side. The girls were a bit shocked but looked at each in silence. Within a couple seconds, the girls gave each other a very soft smile. Without a word, Kagami slowly walked up to Hikaru and wrapped her arms around him. He was very shocked at first but also returned the hug once more.
"I know that you care about me, Hikaru. And I care about you as well.." Kagami informed as she blushed to the side and quickly gave Hikaru a small peak on the cheek. His eyes widened by the physical interaction but none the less gave her an honest smile back.
"And you, Kaoru.." Maika began as she looked away from her sister. She felt like she no longer had to worry about the guys that Kagami would be involved with. Maika felt like she could finally trust the Hiitachin's. So she closed her eyes in content and then looked at Kaoru. She placed one hand on her waist again and just happily smiled at him while she stretched out her other hand and waited for him to take a hold of it. "I think.. I think I can learn to give you a chance." Do to sheer happiness, Kaoru squeezed her hand and smiled back at her.
YES, so again sorry if it was rushed or if there was some sensitive topics that you didn't like the direction it had went. I've finally covered everyone's part and tried my best to address every detail on all the girls. Depending on how much I will cover, there will probably a final chapter or two. Unless, I find that people really do want me to continue writing for this story. Until then, I hope you guys were quite satisfied with this, because I know I was. Please review with positive or negative comments. Bye! [:
