Chapter 21: The Truth Has Been Revealed

Hey everybody! It is pokemongirl101618 and I am back with another chapter of PHS. Sorry I haven't been writing, I just started High School and it is crazy and hectic to get used to it. I am doing pretty well in my classes and that is because I have been studying like crazy! That is why I haven't been writing for a while. *Bow* forgive me please!

At school, all Dawn could think about is her father. What did he look like? Does she have any resemblance to him at all? All of these questions have been floating around her head.

During lunch, Dawn told Misty and May about how her father is still alive. But she didn't tell them every detail about Team Galactic or anything. Knowing that it is such information; some things should be kept secret.

"I just want to know what he looks like." Dawn explained to her friends.

"It must be hard; not knowing your father for all of your life- you don't even know what he looks like!" May exclaimed as she twiddled with her fork.

The three girls ate peacefully. Though Dawn had such things on her mind, she couldn't eat properly. Suddenly, Misty spoke up.

"Wait, you said your father and mother met in drama class and starred in one of the productions at this school?"

Dawn nodded her head in agreement.

"Ya, but what does that have to do with anything?" the bluenette asked.

"We could just look in one of the old theatre brochures for the play. What play was your mother in?" Misty queried once more.

"Uh, I am pretty sure it was Darkrai and Cresselia (A/N: or Troilus and Cressida; it's a very nice play- I love it so much! I just love learning about the Trojan War and their plays), it's about the Fullmoon War. (A/N: Instead of Trojan War…I used Fullmoon Island where Cresselia is from…I'm not a nerd….whaaaat?) My mother was Cresselia and my father was Darkrai." Dawn said.

"We find the brochure and maybe your father's picture will be on it!" May says excitedly. "You will be able to see what he looks like! Well…when he was 18…but it still counts."

The lunch bell rang and the girls quickly went to the drama room. Inside, they met Professor Ivy grading papers. The trio walked up to her and asked the question.

"You want me to go in my office, go through the files just to find you that pamphlet?" Professor Ivy questioned and the three girls nodded their heads. "How about I give you the yearbook to look through instead? All that is on that small brochure is the cast. No pictures what so ever; it's such a boring piece of paper."

"Really?! You have the yearbook with you?" May asked. "I thought they were all in the main office of the school."

"Of course I have my own copy of the yearbook. I was in that production myself. I played Gardevoir (A/N: Helen); Mewtwo's wife (A/N: King Menelaus. As random as this sounds, I just needed to find a powerful Pokemon and a majestic one. But, try to imagine it! XD !" Professor Ivy explained.

"Wait, if you played Helen…do you remember who played Darkrai and Cresselia?" Misty queried.

"Ya, it was a couple- they were so cute! Two seniors I believe; I was a freshman at the time so I didn't really know them." Professor Ivy recalled.

She walked over to her desk and grabbed a large book and opened up the drama class pictures of all the plays.

"I think this is the pair you girls are looking for." Professor Ivy said as she pointed to a photo of two teenagers about the age of 18. Both holding their hands and looking at each other lovingly into their eyes. Dawn especially noticed the man with light blue hair tied into a ponytail, he had onyx eyes and very tall. He had a gentle look…nothing like a man who would turn into an evil villain. All Dawn wondered was…why did he hate the present world so much?

Helping her with chores, cooking dinner with her; basically spending as much time as possible with her single mother. Dawn finally understood how much pain her mother endured just to raise her…Dawn felt so guilty.

"Dawn, it's almost 12, shouldn't you be sleeping by now?" Johanna questioned her daughter as she swept the floor. "You have school tomorrow."

"Don't worry about me mom, you do so much for me! The least I can do is helping you around the house." Dawn explained as she finished putting away the dishware in the cupboards. "Plus, it's a half day tomorrow, therefore I won't be as tired in the morning knowing that I won't have to worry about seven hours of school."

The young bluenette started to clean the table when suddenly her mother spoke once more.

"What about your birthday party? It's in two days; don't you and Ursula have to decorate the location and invitations? Thank the gods I sent it out to your aunt and uncle in Unova along with their two children." Johanna reminded. Dawn stopped cleaning and looked at her mother.

"And I thank you for that! Plus, the decorations are all bought and we are going to set them up on the morning of the party and we are also going to be sending out invitations tomorrow. No need to worry!" Dawn exclaimed as she continued to clean.

"That's when I worry the most, dear." Johanna muffled quietly. "Dawn…can I ask you a question?"

Dawn looked up once again from concentration on the table. "Yes mom?"

"Why did you ask about your father all of a sudden? You never mentioned him before…why now?" the middle aged woman questioned.

Dawn looked at her mother; she was worried and confused…why wouldn't she be? As much as Dawn didn't want to tell her…she couldn't keep it in forever.

"Dawn…you have to tell me." Johanna said.

Dawn let out a big sigh and explained everything. The phone calls, the tracking of the number and wondering if it were to be your father.

Johanna was silent…not a single word was spoken. She looked at her daughter with helpless eyes.

"Oh no…Dawn…where did you say the number was from?" Johanna frantically asked.

"It's from Castelia City in Unova." Dawn answered, confused.

"Dawn…that is where your father moved; he was trying to contact you." Dawn's mother answered.
