Hyden POV

"I won my Games with a simple trick. Usually that doesn't work. Above all, be flexible," I said to Aurum. I focused on Ruby.

"To you… good luck."

Doris POV

"You ready?" I asked Eltara.

"Ready as ever," she said.

"Come back in one piece if you can. Two needs another Victor. I'm getting too old for this." I was twenty-six, but it was still true.

Acee POV

Celeste was crying and clinging to me. I guided her to the tube and nudged her in.

"Don't worry. Anything can happen in the Games. Just live," I said. How many girls am I going to say that to? How many times will I be lying?

Shelle POV

I didn't see Mist off. Let the Peacekeepers handle that monster. I'd already told Jonah I'd be sending any sponsors sadistic enough to give her something to him. Dath was a Career. Mist was an animal.

Soleil POV

"Make sure to run into the Bloodbath. You need supplies," I said to Laeila.

"Yeah right. You want me to get killed?" she sneered. I just smiled, and when the tube started to rise, I waved goodbye.

Toby POV

"What do you think the Arena will be?" Jonathan asked. I looked at his clothes. His plain shirt and pants were black and sleek.

"Could be caves. It's not snow," I said. I wished I had more to give. I didn't know how to tell him to win the Games. I don't even know how I won.

Sequoia POV

"I suppose I'll be seeing you again soon," I said to Dante. He nodded.

"Nothing to say?" I asked. He shook his head.

It's not as easy when it's real, is it? Looks like I won't be getting a new neighbor this year.

Drone POV

"Stick with the Careers. There's safety in numbers," I said. Torchy didn't respond. There was safety in numbers, but that wasn't the whole truth. Dath and Xzavier wouldn't stand for Torchy doing what I thought he wanted to do. The other Tributes would still die, but they'd make it quick.

Kitty POV

Emmalie was bone white and I heard her panting breaths. She started to scream as two Peacekeepers shoved her into the tube. It closed on her, and she crumpled to the ground.

"Get up," I said. She stood and pressed against the glass closer to me.

"Run. Just run," I said.

Cornflower POV

Harmony fiddled with her horse necklace as she waited for the tube to open. She looked up at me.

"I'm not coming home, am I?" she said.

"No," I said.

Peppermint POV

Azalea stood in the tube waiting for it to rise.

Did I do a good job? I thought. She glared at me. I didn't like Azalea, but I was glad she was my first Tribute. I was happy I could practice on someone I didn't care about.

I did a great job. What happens next is up to her.

Demi POV

Beth was already tugging at her clothes and messing with her hair. That girl didn't know how important this was. I hoped her messiness didn't reflect badly on me. The tube began to raise. I waved goodbye.

"Good luck, Beth. Remember your manners."

Dang. Don't screw with Soleil. I didn't get everyone in these last few chapters, so if your Tribute got neglected, tell me and I'll make up for it in these next chapters. Unless they're a Bloodbath, in which case you probably either planned it or knew it would happen.

I got myself really curious about how all these Mentors won their Games. I think after this fic or sometime between later ones I'll write a compendium and give them each a chapter showing their Games. I'm especially curious about Toby.
