A Sneak Peak at Season 2

If you enjoyed season 1 of The Offspring, the fun doesn't stop there, as there's so much more adventure and fun to look forward to in season 2 of The Offspring! As the next generation of the Rugrats ages by another year, lots of new and exciting things will be happening, from Darin, Melenda, and Tony starting preschool, to Keenan taking his first steps, and more! We'll also get a look at what Danielle's life ends up like in her new family, as she makes some friends around Sara Sota, Florida, some of which, celebrate some very interesting holidays! One of them, who is Pagon, celebrates many of the Pagon traditions, like Yuel, and she also makes a friend who's Muslim, and gets to celebrate Romadon with them. So be looking for some specials coming up that focus around some different traditions that people may not know much about. Other things to look forward to in season 2 will be the birth of Sean and Susie's first child, as well as the birth of Jesse and Lil's first child. What will they have? Will they be having boys? Girls? Well, you'll have to wait until season 2, to find out! Also, several episodes will be homages to Bobby's World episodes, as well as lost or rejected episodes of Rugrats, as they finally burst on to the scene in season 2 of The Offspring.

During season 2, we'll see the offspring go to their first ice show in "Goober on Ice," Darin give some words of wisdom to the fellow offspring in, "Darin the Sage," get a good lesson in the importance of hand washing in, "Silvia's Cold," see Melenda get stuck in a very dangerous situation, when her head gets stuck in the bannister in "Melenda Gets Trapped," attend their first horse race track, as they help Peter win a race in "Darin the Gambler," Rosemary shoplifts in "The Shoplifter," and much, much more! It's expected that two Bobby's World episodes will see homages to them during season 2 of The Offspring, "Mrs. Picklesfire," an homage to "Mrs. Noogyfire," and "The Letters," an homage to "The Music," are planned for this upcoming season. And if you thought Chanukah and Passover were the only two Jewish holidays, boy are you wrong. In season 2 of The Offspring, and in subsequent seasons to come, look for several episodes, when Tommy tells stories of his childhood, as he tells of some of his celebrations of other less known Jewish holidays. One of them being considered for season 2, will consist of him telling of the first time he ever fasted at the age of two, almost three-years-old, when his family celebrated the Jewish holiday known as Tish'a B'Av, a holiday celebrated in late July, where families fast to commemorate the distruction of the two temples, but in Tommy's flashback, he's led to believe as a child that Angelica is the reason for the lack of food and distruction. Learn about this holiday, as Tommy tells his boys and their friends about his interesting, yet twisted childhood experience with this holiday, many years later, when his son is around the same age he was when he recalls celebrating it for the very first time.

Lots to look forward to, as there's going to be twenty-eight new episodes planned on for season 2, as the way we see it, we add two more episodes to what Rugrats had originally per season. There were thirteen episodes in season 1 of Rugrats, equaling fifteen episodes in season 1 of The Offspring, so, to put it simply, since there were twenty-six episodes during season 2 of Rugrats, that means season 2 of The Offspring, will have twenty-eight episodes. That's right, twenty-eight new adventures, experiences, and barrels of fun, as the next generation, takes over a playpen, backyard, preschool classroom, Fan Fiction website, and pretty much, takes over everything near you. So look out, cuz the next generation of the rugrats isn't done yet, there's plenty to come!

Season 2 is expected to premier on Fan Fiction on October 10, 2015, so have a good summer everyone, and, we'll talk to you all again really soon!
