Chapter 21: Call of Duty Part 3

Nanashi had been knocked out upon impact and had been unconscious for the past half hour, and had finally began to return to the world of the living, only to be greeted by the scent of blood. "Aoi, where are you?" he asked as he struggled to get to his knees, "Nanashi?" He immediately heard her from behind him, he crawled not five feet before finding her leg, "how bad is it?" she remained silent, prompting him to be more stern. "I can smell blood, and I know I'm not bleeding so how bad is your injury." This time she could tell he wasn't asking so she moved her hand to reveal a root sticking out of the left side of her abdomen. "I've got a root in the left side of my gut, so you might as well leave me."

"I can't do that, because I need you." Nanashi's voice was stern, but it had hints of desperation, not that Aoi noticed it, she was too shocked by his words. "W-w-what!?"

"My Zan Belt is currently disabled, so I'm blind as a bat," he then moved his hand up her right leg, looking for her hand. when he found it he continued, "I need you to be my eyes." Aoi was speechless, she had never really been wanted by anyone, let alone needed. She looked around for the blanket before spotting it about six feet to her right. "I'm going to pull myself off this branch, but I need you to go six feet to my left, that's six feet to your right, to get the blanket I was wrapped up in to cover the wound." Nanashi crawled went to his right till he found the blanket, it was wet, and had a thick, grimy substance with an earthy smell on it, 'mud' he thought to himself. He had finally got back to Aoi who had steeled her resolve before pulling herself off, hissing in pain, prompting Nanashi to give her the blanket so she could cover the wound.

Aoi looked around her surrounding as it looked like they were in the Amazon Rainforest. Except the oddest thing is she doesn't hear any animals at all. She finish tying the blanket around herself. She then took notice of a monitor that was attach to a tree. It then turned on.

"You are not the people I'm looking for but since you are trespassing in this environment I'm going to have to kill you." An American voice said as it came through the monitor.

"You sound American." Nanashi commented.

"I'm American but I joined the Nazi party. And from what I can tell you sound American as well. But I was looking for a Hispanic person. He still giving us trouble. But I'm going to kill you two anyway since one the doc wants more material for his project. Two you guys are trespassing and I do hate trespassers so very much." the voice said.

"How could you betray your own country?" Nanashi asked as he was very angry right now.

"How can I betray my own country? The real question is why should I help those weakling Jews? In this world only the strong survive. That is the rule of evolution." the voice said.

"You're a sick person if you believe any of that." Aoi commented.

"So who is this Hispanic person anyway that's bugging you guys? Fidel Castro?" Nanashi asked half-jokingly and half-seriously.

"Who the fuck is Fidel Castro?" the voice asked.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHO FIDEL CASTRO IS!?" Nanashi said.

"You know what, I'm going to have my minion's just kill you." the voice said when suddenly drop out of the tree line were a bunch of people that were clad in red and black shinobi armor as their armor almost look similar to a Kamen Rider armor which look almost like a Tengu.

"Wait a second these are not Nazi soldiers, who the fuck are you?" the voice ordered as one of the shinobi drove a blade into the monitor. Aoi was shaking like crazy.

"Aoi why in the world are you shaking for?" Nanashi asked as he can sense Aoi's elevated heartbeat.

"Those are the Yarichin Clan shinobi. They're here to take me home." Aoi said as she sounded very much afraid.

"Something tells me you don't want to go home with these womanizers." Nanashi said as he made a small joke about the clan name.

"She has to go home, she has lost to you and she will face the punishment that was assigned to her by her father." one of the Tengu shinobi said.

"Please, can't Father just give me another chance? I don't want to be sold off." Aoi asked as Nanashi took notice the tone of voice. That who she was afraid of. Her own father. Nanashi had to use a large portion of his willpower to keep the bile that came up his throat down after hearing what her father would do, and even more to keep himself from attacking head on without a suitable weapon, "Hey, Aoi," started the American, "can you make both of us a bone sword?" It didn't take Aoi long to figure out the Americans plan, "you do realize that this is suicide, right?"

Nanashi shrugged his shoulders and said, "In the words of the Bushido code: DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!"

Aoi took a moment to process his words, it was as if at her companion feared being dishonored in combat before a small smile showed itself, "Beats the hell out of being sold to some disgusting old slob."

"Struggle all you want, we will be getting that girl no matter what." One of the Tengu shinobi said.

When Suddenly one of the Tengu Shinobi was shot directly in the chest as he was launch backward in a shower of sparks. Soon another one got hit as both Aoi and Nanashi kept completely still as the shots they were hearing was a shotgun. Sawed off to be exact. The rest of the shinobi jumped away from the shotgun blast as a person that appear to be wearing a old American Infantry uniform with the sleeve rolled up just below the elbow and no helmet. He didn't had any helmet at all came out of the bushes as he had tan skin, shaggy black hair, brown eyes, and a mustache/goatee combo, and a scar on his right cheek. He also look like nineteen years old of age. He was carrying a M1 Grand which was on his back, a .45 1911 pistol against his waist and holding in his hand was a sawn-off shotgun.

"You want to know what I hate more then Nazi? It's people that attack innocent civilians." The man said in a Hispanic accent.

"We're just going to have to kill him." One of the Tengu Shinobi when his face was completely blown off by the soldiers shotgun.

"You guys are not going to like me when I get angry." the Hispanic American soldier said as suddenly Nanashi's Zan Belt reactivated.

"It's back on." Nanashi as he activated the belt.

"Henshin!" Nanashi said as he was engulfed in flames as he became Kamen Rider Zan: Shisa Mode.

"What in the world is a Kamen Rider?" one of the Tengu shinobi said as he got sliced in half by Nanashi.

"I'm not going to let you guys recover." Nanashi said when suddenly one of the Tengu shinobi jump-kicked him sending him right into a tree.

"Just because you are a Kamen Rider doesn't make you an instant expert." A Tengu shinobi said as this one look like the leader as he sent several chain that wrapped around both the Hispanic-American and Nanashi as he started delivering a shock to their system. Aoi went to charge forward but one of the Tengu shinobi fired a dart at her which hit her directly in the neck. She then dropped to the ground knocked out.

"I'm going to get you for that." Nanashi growled as he felt a huge shock going through his system. He then took notice of the Allied Soldier.

"Hey soldier what's happening to you?" Nanashi asked as the soldier eye was glowing a red color.

"My name is not soldier. It Sargent Ray Martinez!" Ray said as his body morphed he grew up to seven Feet tall as his eye was blood red, he had red eye and razor sharp teeth. His hair became bone white as he developed razor sharp claws as his skin started to take on a crimson tone of color as he burst out of the chains. This sudden charge shocked the Tengu shinobi which gave Nanashi enough time to cut out of his bond as he charge at one of the shinobi that was about to pick up Aoi as he sliced him in half.

Suddenly a massive tentacle came out of the forest as this thing was covered in various blades. It bisected all of the Tengu shinobi in half. Nanashi blocked it with his sword as the tentacle went for Ray who just smash the tentacle into the ground. Which it quickly retracted back into the jungle.

"You might have killed all of us but we will still come for the girl. You can't stop us." the Tengu shinobi weakly said as Nanashi drove his blade into the dying mans head.

"I don't care I'm not going to let you guys put her through that." Nanashi said as he took notice of someone calming walking out of the jungle. The person appear to be American as he had blonde hair and was wearing a pair of sunglasses. The person wasn't wearing any shirt at all as it show off his muscle but his right arm looked very off.

"Oh you didn't run off hiding. You stay in the very same spot. I don't know if you are very cocky or very stupid." the American traitor said as his arm started to mutate until it became a large tentacle arm covered in various rotating blades making it look like an organic drill. The tentacle then reshaped itself into a large organic Gatling gun and various other weapons before turning back into a regular arm.

"Duke!" Ray said with a very fierce anger in his voice.

"Oh hello Ray how that failure super soldier serum those scientist injected you with going for you anyway. I though you would have died by now I mean I was shock the experiments and torture plus the serum didn't kill you but it did kill your friend Kev." Duke mockingly said.

"Why did you betray the Allied force and why would you join the those Nazi bastards?!" Ray shouted at Duke.

"The reason why is because they had an idea. An idea to make the human race stronger and get rid of the weak ones in the process. The ones that just take up space in this overcrowded world. That's why I join the Nazi organization known as Genesis and Millennium. Because they have a vision of the future and they're not afraid to make it real." Duke said.

"To me you're just a big weakling." both Nanashi and Duke said at once.

"What did both of you two say!" Duke said in anger.

"You heard me. You are a big fat weakling if you believe any of that stuff." Nanashi said as suddenly Duke appeared right before him as he punched Nanashi right in the chest as this sent him flying into a tree.

'Damn he's fast I barely even heard him move.' Nanashi commented.

"I'm not a weakling at all. I just chose to evolve. Mankind have stopped evolving and perfecting themselves. So I chose to do that." Duke said as his arm morph into a organic Gatling gun as he fired several bullet at Nanashi but Ray went right in front of the bullet path as it bounce off his skin.

"You think I'm weak for choosing my own path instead of following those weakling in the government?" Duke then suddenly vanished as he appeared right in front of Ray as he punch the mutated soldier right in the gut as he then kick him.

"I received the perfected serum and when I took that I have evolved into a higher being." Duke said as he appear right before Nanashi yet again as he kicked him threw the tree.

'How in the world can I fighting against something that is faster than the wind?' Nanashi asked himself as suddenly a idea popped into his head. Ray charged at Duke who arm mutated into a shield as the hulked out soldier started smashing his fist into the organic shield. Nanashi quickly got up as he touch a button on the Zan Belt.

"Elemental Henshin!" Nanashi shouted as he was engulfed in a miniature tornado. The wind disappeared as Nanashi was in a new form. Which seems to be style after the Kamaitachi as it was green and white in color.

"Kamen Rider Zan: Kamaitachi Mode!" Nanashi said as his Zan Blade morph into a twin bladed scythe. He then disappeared in a blur as Duke quickly kicked Ray away as he block Nanashi strike.

"You got faster but just because you're fast doesn't mean you can kill me." Duke said as his arm quickly morph into a sword blade as he slash at Nanashi who quickly jumped out of the way in a blur who landed right next to Ray.

"Eh Ray do you think you can help me out with a plan? I really don't know if this plan would work with this form I chose." Nanashi asked the Allied Soldier.

"What you mean by that?" Ray asked as his voice had a deeper tone to it.

"Well the reason why is because this is my first time using this form and I really don't know what would happen if I perform the finish. Plus that guy has very good reaction time as well." Nanashi replied.

"That is true, just tell me the plan quickly." Ray responded as he took notice Duke arm was morphing yet again this time back to it organic drill as it was revving up.

"Pick me up and throw me right above him." Nanashi simply said as Ray pick the Kamen Rider up as he quickly threw him up into the air as he went right above Duke who looked up right at him.

"I don't think so." Duke said as he launch his drill arm right at Nanashi as it was going at incredible speed.

"I'm not going to pull this off' Nanashi though in his head when suddenly a several pair of bone blade collided with drill arm and pin it to a tree as Aoi was awake right now.

"I'm not going to let you kill him." Aoi said as Duke had a shock look on his face.

"You should know Duke, just being strong is not enough. It take having the guts to be able to admit and improve on your weakness which is true strength. That how Ray managed to survive so long. He took his weakness and turn it into his strength. Just like I turn my blindness into my strength. That takes true guts. Aoi even have those guts as well. Which you never had. Hissatsu: Reaping Storm." Nanashi roared as he slashed his scythe right through the air as suddenly Duke's entire world exploded as he was sliced into oblivion. Leaving only his massive drill tentacle behind which was still attached to the tree as everything behind Duke was reduced to sawdust. Nanashi landed on the ground. Aoi slowly approached Nanashi.

"You really got him good that for sure." Aoi said as Ray approached the spot were Duke was as he turn back to his regular self now.

"At least my team is finally avenged. Now I just need to find their dog-tags." Ray commented to himself.

"So Ray do you think can help us out since Aoi and I are separated from our friends?" Nanashi asked as he looked at the Hispanic Allied Soldier as he can tell. He looked like he have seen hell.

"Sure, I'm not going to leave civies alone." Ray said as all three of them started walking deeper into the jungle with Ray as their guide. None of them didn't took notice of Duke's tentacle arm shifting into what looked like a massive cocoon as it pulsated a little.

Mizore didn't seem like she was in much shape for extensive travel, but Tsukune managed to get her away from the cage room as best he could. They stopped somewhere where Tsukune was certain no one could see or hear them, though he was more hopeful than certain.

Mizore looked like she needed to recover a little more before truly being fit to resume the search for the others. Whatever she had been through, Tsukune didn't want to know, but he knew pushing her would only make it worse.

"Tsukune, while we have a moment, there's something I want to tell you." The Yuki-Onna started speaking above a whisper but getting the boy's attention.

"What's that Mizore?" He asked.

"Tsukune, you're a lot more special to me than you realize." Mizore started. "Remember how when we first met, and I was shy and wasn't really enthusiastic about by friends with a stranger?" He nodded. "When I was a kid I knew a boy, a human boy, and when I thought I could trust him he deserted me. It took me a long time to get over it, and since then in the back of my mind I keep thinking others are going to do the same as him. But you never did."

"You've stayed with me, you've saved my life more than once, and even with several others trying to get you to themselves you still make me a priority. This really touches me Tsukune, a lot. And this may sound weird, but back when that thing tried to kill me with its offspring, I could only think two things. That I didn't want to die without telling you I love you, and that I don't want to carry any child other than yours."

Tsukune had no idea how to respond to this. Mizore knew she just confess to him yer again but she gather from Tsukune. He barely understand the concept of love. Which might be because of his Greeed Nature. So she tell it to him again to both reassure him and herself. But still she have to figure out how to deal with the other girls. She know Tsukune make her priority but those girls are important to him as well. She really have to think. She what to beat this Harem Situation that she got herself in.

Kage Bijuu Author Note: Well as you can see in this chapter. This chapter feature the OC since I'm doing focus on each group since all of them are still separated. Also what about Mizore and Tsukune scene at the end of this chapter. That is to show Mizore is trying to reassure Tsukune that she really does love him since one he wouldn't know much about love. Plus he is a Greeed.
