Ryan
After class Seth, Sara, and Lia started talking to my dad. It's one thing to have your parents discuss anything with your friends, not understanding a word they were saying was beyond slightly humiliating, it was inrevocably disatorous.
"Ell Carter, ro hia ju kali ti espial Ryan?"(Mr. Carter, when are you going to tell Ryan?)
"Ka ju nia ji ka?"(Do you think I should?)
"San, vi ji saymux ka ta, ji ka bi ay furiee!" Lia shouted. She was behaving really hyper about something.(Yes, if my parents didn't, I would be really mad!)
"Gauna, ji quannie, yack hi ilka eva Sapphireanna, ju nia?"(Well, I guess, once he learns more Sapphieran, you know?)
"San. Bu mia eva ju kwes, mia eva furiee hi ka bi."(Okay. But the more you wait, the more angry he will be.)
"Lia ko kali," Sara said, her face looked shocked. Lia looked really pretty when she reacted. I had no clue what they were saying, I just knew that Lia looked so awesome while doing so.(Lia is right.")
"Ji ka bi kali!"(I can be right!)
"Sanni, re tomex," Seth put in.(Yeah, sometimes.)
"Myrapoli!" Lia shouted and the rest of them, including my dad, rolled their eyes.
"Guys?" I asked. "I'm still here, you know?"
"Right, well, see you later, Mr. Carter," Lia said after flipping the switch on her headset that enabled her to speak English. We left to the last class of the day, which for some odd reason had been turned into Math class, a lot of schedules got flipped around to allow room for students to take Sapphieran.
It was as torturous as ever. Though, this time Lia stood up and shouted in a mix of languages. One sounded very little like the Sapphieran I'd heard her speaking.
"I swear you spoke a different language in there," Allison and I both said.
"We have been over the topic of our native dialect, you are aware?"
It felt weird to hear them speak in their dialect, they were becoming more and more like typical Earth teenagers.
"No, he is right," Lia said. "Evidentally, my parents being into studying planets is useful, after all. Though, why do I have to learn how to speak Anti'zou or Triama? I've met three people who even know what they are!"
"Ay?" Sara started. "Iato juama univi Anti'zou e Triama'zou. Uama?"(Really? I speak some Anti'zou and Triama. You?)(1.)
"It is still boring," Lia held her ground. She was pretty when stubborn.
A/N: Okay, Won't discontinue b/c it be near impossible to follow the storyline without speaking Sapphieran semi-fluently.(at least.)
Italicized means it's in Anti'zou. No, I don't speak more than about those words in it. So, I'll probably just writ it like I do Ancient Greek/Latin/Italian in my PJO stories.
Ka li gauna za,
