Christmas Morning; December 2012
"Mommy, wake up! It's Christmas!" Beth yelled as she tried waking up Quinn. Rachel just turned over and mumbled something incoherent.
"I'm up, I'm up." Quinn replied waking up in Max's room. "How about you go wake up Auntie S and Auntie B?"
"Okay!" Beth exclaimed as she ran across the hall. She pushed the door open to a grinning Max in between a sleeping Santana and Brittany. "It's Christmas! Wake up!"
Brittany immediately shot up and repeated, "I'm up, I'm up" a couple of times before realizing what exactly was happening. Beth jumped into bed and was sitting on top of Santana poking her side saying, "Come on Auntie S! It's Christmas and I want to open my presents!" Santana was faking being asleep with a smile appearing on her face while she heard Beth keep rambling on about how she wants to go open presents and presents and presents. And when Beth had finally given up with a "Santa probably didn't get you anything anyways, hmph!" Santana tackled the little girl into bed tickling her until she couldn't breathe.
"Auntie-Auntie S! S-stop! I-I can-can't br-breathe!" Beth said between catching her breath and laughing.
"Alright I'm up, let's go wake up grandma and grandpas now!"
"Yay!" and with that, Beth ran out of the room and into the living room with Max behind her waving their arms in the air. Santana looked to her side where Brittany had hidden her face under a pillow. Santana straddled Brittany as she removed the pillow and moved so that their face was millimeters away.
"Merry Christmas baby" Santana whisper against Brittany's lips and followed with a soft, sensual, passionate filled kiss.
"Mmm Merry Christmas baby" Brittany hummed back.
"Now come on, let's go make coffee or get coffee, because I can't wait to give you your present." One final peck and Santana moved off of Brittany and out of the room as she heard Brittany complain about the lack of contact.
Twenty-five minutes later, three pots of coffee and a lot of present's distribution, everyone, and literally everyone was sitting around the Christmas tree. Beth, Max and Emily being the most excited to open their presents. Max was sitting on Brittany's lap, like Emily was on Stacey's and Beth on Quinn's.
"So who wants to go first?" Susan Pierce asked as she brought another freshly brewed pot of coffee out.
"Can I go first Mrs. Pierce?" Beth chirped up and received a nod in response. Beth walked over to Santana and whispered something into her ear and Santana pointed to the two bags sitting next to Quinn.
"Thank you Auntie S. Okay, so I-I asked Auntie S to help me with my presents. So this one is for Mommy Q and Momma Rach; and-and I love you very much." Beth finished off handing a bag to each girl as they looked at each other and back at Santana. Quinn and Rachel started removing the tissue paper until they both reached a mug. Quinn's mug read, "To My Mommy Q" with a picture of smiling Beth sitting on Santa's lap. Rachel's mug read, "To My Sissy/Momma Rachel" with the same picture of Beth. Quinn started crying and Rachel wiped away a couple of tears. "Oh, I-I-I, y-you don't like it huh?" was Beth's immediate reaction seeing the tears from both girls.
"No, no, no, I love it, Beth. Really, these are happy tears baby. I love it really." Quinn reassured the girl opening her arms for her.
"Yeah, I love it too Beth, really. Now I can enjoy my coffee with one of my favorite girls, every morning." Rachel beamed and Beth walked into their embrace as they hugged her and kept telling her it was a great gift.
"I should say," Santana spoke up, "the writing and the mugs were her idea. I just paid for them." She finished lifting her hands in an I had nothing to do it with it, I just helped manner.
"Thank you, to both of you." Quinn said gratefully as Beth took a seat on her lap again.
Hiram and Harold decided to go next and gave their presents around. They stuck to the typical, popcorn bins for each household. For Rachel, they gave her a new musical. They gave Quinn a couple of new books they knew she would love; mostly romantic literature or literature on art. Beth received a stuffed Sven and Kristoff from Frozen, which excited the little girl to no end.
Judy gave Quinn a gift card to a furniture store and suggested a bed for Beth. She gave Rachel a gift card to Bed, Bath & Beyond, to buy new things for around the apartment. And as for Beth, she received an Elsa Ice Castle and Olaf. As for everyone else, they received two bags of coffee from the Christmas Selection from Starbucks.
Maribel, Jorge and Abuela Lopez decided to give every family Christmas Cookies. From the Lopez's; Max received Timon and Pumba from The Lion King, because all he was doing was humming the circle of Life. Brittany received two tickets to Beyoncé's new tour that would be coming into town after New Year's; which, let's be honest, she was more than ecstatic to attend and immediately made arrangements for babysitting and begged Santana to attend with her. Santana however was beyond surprised when she was handed a necklace and a ring. She gasped because she knew what each item meant. She looked up at her mother and grandmother and was slowly shaking her head.
"Mami. Abuela. I can't- I can't take this. They both mean so much to you."
"Remember what we talked about Santana?" Abuela asked and she looked at her skeptically and slowly nodded, "Well, let's just say I should have given it to you when you came home for Thanksgiving and that it's your sign mija." Santana had tears streaming down her face and slowly nodded and made her way to the older women.
Everyone was beyond confused but just figured it was a long story so the present giving continued. The Pierce handed out a stocking with a family picture of the Pierce's along with cookies, sugar canes, and other small gifts. Susan and Charles gave Max a stuffed Simba and Nala along with some coloring books. They gave Emily a new Barbie house with a new Barbie and Ken. Stacey and John received a variation of gift cards and scarves.
"So, this gift is kind of for you and Santana, but either of you are more than allowed to accept it or postpone it as long as you want, okay?" Susan told both girls before looking at her husband that gave her an encouraging nod and looked back at the girls who were nodding at each other. "Okay, so here." Susan handed an envelope to Brittany who opened it slowly.
"Oh my god, mom, dad, we can't." Brittany said trying to hide the shock from her voice while Santana read the papers.
"Charlie… Susan… Britt's right, we-we can't take this." Santana said, trying to gather her thoughts on the situation at hand.
"Well, just think about it. Because heaven knows we have and whenever you're ready we'll move ahead with everything."
"Santana, baby, what is it?" Maribel asking feeling left out of the loop.
"They want to give us this house." Brittany whispered still looking over the papers.
"Wait, really?" Stacey chimed in, "Isn't that great though? I mean, if you guys are serious and all."
"That's not the point though." Santana answered, "This is too much, and we can't just take it."
"Well, just think about it San. Talk it over, look it over, we are in no rush but we would like Max to grow up in a stable home and this wouldn't be just for you guys and him. It could be the foundation for everything else." Charles said, pulling Santana in a hug.
"Uh, wow. Uhm thanks Charlie."
"Okay, so enough of us. Quinn what do you have for your favorite girls?" Susan chimed in trying to remove all the pressure from Santana and Brittany.
"Oh! Right, so uh, here you go Beth, this is for you; from both of us" Quinn said signaling between her and Rachel.
Beth grinned up at both of them and ripped the wrapping paper and immediately gasped.
"D-do you like it?" Rachel asked as the girl just kept looking at the box that held an Elsa and Anna doll.
"I love it moms!" She exclaimed, immediately jumping up and wrapping her tiny arms around both girls neck as they smiled at each other, quite proud of the reaction.
"Here," Rachel said first after Beth let them go, "I know we agreed on nothing too fancy but I couldn't help it." She told Quinn as she handed the girl a small box. Quinn opened it and gasped and tried saying something but words failed her.
"Rach…" Quinn started.
"No, don't even say anything. You got me my ring and I did the same for you. Everyone has to know you are taken and that you are mine." Rachel finished sliding the ring onto Quinn's finger and placing a kiss on top of it. Quinn wiped away a few tears before whispering, "thank you".
"So, yeah, nothing special but I couldn't help it either." Quinn said pulling a bigger box out and handing it to Rachel. Rachel opened it to find a charm bracelet with ballet shoes, a microphone, a music note, a Q and a B. "I picked these charms because they all represent something you love. I tried finding something to represent your dads but I'm still working on that. So for now I put, your love for dance, singing, music, Beth and me." A chorus of awe's was heard from the group of people watching them interact. Rachel had a few stray tears that Quinn wiped away and then kissed her.
"Oh and Max, we got you this too." Quinn said handing Max a much bigger box that Beth ever so happily handed it to him. Max looked up at them and then back at the box and smiled. He opened it to find a Lion King Onesie and a Frozen onesie. He was so excited he was clapping his hands as he handed it to his mom and said, "Can I put on, pwease mommy?!" which of course Brittany couldn't deny him.
"Thank yu Auntie Q and Rach!" Max exclaimed after he came back showing it off to everyone.
"You're welcome little guy" Quinn replied as he pulled away from a hug.
"Okay, so here's a gift for Beth, Quinn and Rachel, from Britt, Max and myself." Santana said, all too matter-a-fact-ly. Beth received Elsa's dress after she does her transformation and along with an Elsa onesie. Quinn received a leather jacket and some aviators which Santana added, "I know you like to hide the fact that you can pull one off but really, I thought you'd enjoy it." Rachel received a "Funny Girl" audition card.
"W-wait, San, w-wha-what is this?"
"Oh that would be me," Brittany chimed in, "It just so happens that there's this director that was looking for dancers for Funny Girl and he asked me to choreograph and he promised me something in return. So I might have asked him if he needed a Fanny Brice and he said yes so I landed you an audition after New Year's so yeah"
"No way. Oh my god! Brittany!" was all Rachel managed to say before throwing her arms around Brittany repeating thank you over and over again.
"It was nothing really, just thought I'd help with your big break after everything"
"Well, thank you!"
"And these are for the grandparent's, which in this case, basically means everyone." Santana said handing every older adult a box.
Hiram, received a "My #1 Grandpa"; earning a laugh from Harold. Harold received an "Only great dads get promoted to Grandpas!" earning a "you can say that again" from Charles. Charles received "World's Best Grandpa" since he had two instead of one, for now. Jorge's shirt was a little different since he was the youngest male of the group, his shirt said, "This is what an AWESOME grandpa looks like" with two thumbs point at his chest. The group was laughing that they forgot that the women also had gifts.
Susan opened hers first to reveal a shirt that said, "T.G.I.F. This Grandma Is Fantastic!" earning awe from Susan. Judy's shirt held the definition of Grandma that read, "Grandma: 1. Keeper of the sweets. 2. Spoiler of her Grandchildren" which Quinn immediately said, "yeah, that's her alright!" earning a laugh. Abuela opened hers and gasped when she read, "Grandma is Awesome but Great-Grandma taught her everything!" and Brittany said, "We hope that you're okay with being a part of Max's life?"
Abuela held back tears and looked up at them saying, "Nothing would make me happier." As Santana and Brittany and Max took turns hugging her.
"Okay mami, open yours." Santana encouraged. Maribel nodded and opened a shirt that said, "What Happens at Grandma's Stays at Grandma's."
"You got this because of my Vegas story huh?" Maribel looked at Santana questioning her intently.
"Maybe that had something to do with it." Santana shrugged laughing at her mother's ability to figure everything out.
"Okay so, Stacey, John, Adam and Dani, uh we wanted something creative for you guys so, we decided on these shirts." Stacey and John's shirts read, "Godparents to the cutest little boy named Max!" which Stacey cheered for because it was pink and that was her favorite color. John was proud of his too and fist bumped Max who was clapping.
"Now, Adam, Dani, I know this is like the first year or more like first anything with us but we wanted to let you know, that you are like basically a part of this family. So we got you these."
Dani's shirt read, "I have two of the cutest nieces and a very handsome nephew" and Adam's said, "Coolest Uncle to two girls and a boy" which left both of them speechless.
"I love it." Was all Dani could say followed by a very quiet, "You are my first real family" that no one heard except Brittany who wrapped an arm around her and said, "It's an honor to have you be a part of this family".
Santana looked at Brittany and said, "Britt," calling her attention back to Santana. She pulled out a velvet box causing a gasp from Brittany. "So, it took me a few weeks to find it but when I did, I knew I had to get it for you." She opened the box to reveal a heart shaped locket, "Open the locket Britt."
Brittany opened it slowly and saw that it was engraved. The engraving read, "I fell in love with you during sophomore year and I never stopped loving you. You are my better half, you are everything I need in my life and I love you. I love you so much, Brittany Susan Pierce & I am yours, proudly so."
"San" Brittany whispered as she looked at her with tear filled eyes. "You-you didn't have to get me this."
"But I wanted too. You're everything to me and you deserve everything. This is just the beginning to everything I want to give you."
"Thank you San, really" Brittany said giving Santana a small peck on the cheek.
"Here, I got you something too San." Brittany got up from where she was sitting and went into her room coming back with a bigger present. Santana was completely shocked and didn't know what to say or do. "So, I know it looks fancy and huge and everything but I promise, the contents mean a lot more than you think. So, open it San."
Santana slowly got up placing Max on the floor while he played with his new stuffed Lion King animals. She went over to where Brittany was standing and realized that it wasn't such a big gift. She pulled on the wrapping paper revealing an 16x20in portrait. Santana gasped and the whole room went 'awe'.
"Remember how I begged you to take a picture with Max and me with Santa? And how you just couldn't say no? Well, I had it sent to be blown up into a 16x20in."
"B-but Britt, wha-how-wait. What's written on the bottom?" Santana noticed a small plaque but hadn't taken the time to read it.
"How about you read it out loud San?" Brittany encouraged Santana. She bent down to get a better look reading it in her head first before looking up at Brittany with a huge face splitting grin.
"Our First Christmas as a Family; Christmas 2012; The Lopez-Pierce Family" Santana read out loud for everyone to hear. She got up from where she was crouching and pulled Brittany into a hug, whispering, "I love it so much" and placing a kiss on her cheek.
"Well, I guess if you and Santana want, you could put it over the fire place you know. But hey, it's totally up for you guys to decide" Charles chimed in as he walked past both girls causing them to laugh at the statement.
"Yeah, we'll see" Brittany replied.
After opening the presents and eating more food, mostly leftovers, everyone settled in the living room watching Christmas movies and some Disney movies. They took a family picture for the albums and other random pictures of the kids with some of their presents. It had in all been a wonderful Christmas spent together and despite everything that had happened, everything was getting put back together, piece by piece.
The following morning Beth walked into Santana's room at the loft. Beth had wanted to wake up her Auntie S so she could take her to put flowers on Shelby's grave. When she walked in and found the brunette asleep, she decided to lay in bed with her. Beth fell asleep again while curled up in Santana's side. When Santana woke up and realized the little girl was lying in bed with her, she couldn't help but smile. Santana placed a kiss on the little girls head and Beth started moving around. She eventually opened her eyes and found Santana smiling down at her.
"Morning munchkin" Santana whispered as Beth smiled brightly back at her.
"Morning Auntie S!" Beth replied, further establishing she was, in fact, a morning person, unlike her Auntie S or Quinn.
"When did you come in here?"
"I dunno, I woke up and wanted to see if you could still take me to put flowers for mommy. But you were sleeping and I got cold so I lay down with you." Beth explained as she moved to be sitting up instead of lying down next to Santana.
"So, you want to visit your mom?" Santana asked once Beth finished explaining her interesting morning. Beth nodded in response. "Did you ask Momma Q? Why don't you see if she wants to come along?"
"Okay, but even if she says no, we can still go?"
"Of course munchkin, now go ask her and get ready while I get ready too."
Ten minutes later, Santana was eating breakfast alongside Beth who was more than happy to be eating pancakes with a smiley face on it.
"So, it's okay if we go right Q?"
"Yeah, just try not to stay too long because we have to plan the party for next week and it has to be perfect. You know how our mothers get."
Santana groaned followed by a "don't remind me".
Both girls finished breakfast, kissed Quinn on the cheek, put their coats on and headed into the city. Santana and Beth bought flowers before catching a cab. Beth wanted to get Shelby lilies and sunflowers and daisies. All bright colored that stood out in the snow that covered the grass around Shelby's tombstone. At first, Santana really didn't know what to do but she never left Beth's side.
Beth walked to the gravestone and looked down and smiled. She placed the flowers down and ran her hand over Shelby's picture.
"Hi mommy, I-I love you. I miss you too. But, I'm okay, really. Momma Quinn and Sissy Rachel are taking care of me. I-I think Sissy Rachel misses you a lot too. But-but yesterday was Christmas and I missed your kisses and hugs but Momma Quinn gave me lots and lots of hugs and kisses. Auntie S helped me buy these flowers and she's here too. Oh! And Max is right; I know you want me to be happy. And so does everyone else. So, uh-mom? Is-is it okay if I call Momma Q, just mom? I-I know you will always be my mommy but-but she loves me mommy... I-she watches Frozen with me, and-and, I-I don't want her to think that I-I don't love her. But I will always love you mommy." Beth finished off wiping some stray tears away with a big smile. She turned around and ran into Santana hugging her. Beth wasn't letting go and Santana was in no rush with the little girl.
Santana looked up into the cloudy skies of New York City and whispered, "I promise to take care of her, like she was my own." And as if on cue, she felt a soft breeze hitting her face and took it as a sign that it was okay to let her know that Quinn was her birth mom, but maybe not any time soon.
Santana picked up Beth and hailed a cab. The ride home was quiet but comfortable. Beth had fallen asleep and everything seems to be okay. Beth knew it was okay and that with time everything would work out in its own little way.
Santana and Quinn and Rachel had spent the rest of that weekend planning a New Year's Eve party. They wrote lists and lists of things they should buy, things they needed the day of, the people that would attend. The girls had it down to the minute, everything broken down.
Adam was in charge of finding a DJ for the evening which he had successfully done calling some of his old buddies from high school. She was on the brink of being a well-known DJ in LA but was willing to visit New York and spread her talents around.
Dani was in charge of getting decorations that would bring in the New Year. Dani started buying New Year's Eve hats, 2013 glasses, silver, gold, and black balloons. She also bought plates, napkins, and red cups along with streamers of different colors, and more 2013 memorabilia.
The Lopez's were in charge of the alcohol because Jorge Lopez made the best Martini's around back in Lima. He always did have the best selection of alcohol within the four walls of his home and he never question Santana when a bottle of rum or vodka would go missing. He would just replace the bottle and look the other way. But if Maribel ever replaced a bottle, Santana never heard the end of it. Abuela, well, she always enjoyed a good shot of Tequila and some margaritas.
The Pierce offered to provide the finger food, mainly because Mrs. Pierce loved cooking. She used to host the best dinner parties and at the weirdest times. Mrs. Pierce was more than happy to help with finger food and Mr. Pierce was more than happy to have food at the party.
The Berry's along with Judy were in charge of actually setting up decorations the day off along with anyone else that wanted to help. They got helium tanks and tape and made balloon arcs. This was their first New Year's together in New York City, so they brought out all the stops.
Quinn, Santana, Rachel and Brittany were in charge of the guest list. They debated who to invite and if they should invite people from their old Glee club back in Lima. They sent out invites and hoped for the best, and hoping to see some familiar faces.
New Year's Eve 2012
Al's Kitchen was transformed from an ordinary diner into an amazing night club. Brian had moved some tables away from the front of the diner to make it strictly, food and drinks area. He also added a sitting area where people were allowed to mingle and talk. Towards the back there were some toys set up from all the children that might show up. On the small stage the diner owned, was the DJ equipment along with some lighting. Attached to the roof was a net full of blown up balloons to be dropped when it was midnight.
At the entrance there was an arc of balloons making the entrance. Streamers were scattered across the room going from one end to another. Small center pieces were made for the sitting area. The finger was food was all lined up against a wall and it even included a chocolate fountain. Mr. Lopez had set up all the alcohol behind the bar and had offered his services along with Adam for part of the night until the hired bartender arrived.
"How's everyone doing tonight?" The DJ exclaimed a bit after 10pm when most of the guest had arrived. The crowd exclaimed back encouraging her to continue. "Alright, well I'm Beca Mitchell but you would know me as DJ B! So, I think we should get this party started! Any request, just hit me up! Oh! A special shout out to my buddy, Adam! Thank you for having me New York City!" Beca finished into her mic before hitting play and Titanium filled the room, immediately!
Santana was walking around checking in with the guest when she felt a tap on her shoulder.
"If I wouldn't have known any better, Miss Lopez is now a mother?!" Santana wiped around to face Mercedes with a face splitting grin.
"'Cedes! You made it! Where's trouty mouth at?"
"He's around here! But seriously Santana, you and Britt found each other again?!"
"Yeah, and she has the cutest little boy ever! I love him so much!"
"Well, as long as I get an invite to the wedding, you have my support!"
"Thanks! Have you seen anyone else?"
"No but I think I saw Puck somewhere towards the back!"
"Alright then, I'll see you later!" Santana yelled over the music, pulling her in a hug one more time.
Santana bumps into Kurt and Blaine and is not surprised to hear that they will be moving to New York within the next year. She found Puck playing with Beth and Max in the back. Santana was surprised Puck didn't ask questions or anything, or so she thought he didn't ask questions. Quinn had decided to invite him because after everything that happened with Shelby, she felt like Puck should try to be in her life, even if it's just as her uncle. Puck was more than happy about the arrangements but had confessed he would be joining the Air Force after New Year's. Tina and Mike were there too, Mike had been accepted to a dance school in Chicago but had maintained a relationship with Tina after graduation.
Everything was in order and midnight was getting closer. Santana set out to look for Brittany so they could get Max and celebrate together. Santana asked around and they pointed her towards the back but she wasn't so happy with what she found.
"What are you doing here?!" Brittany was yelling but Santana couldn't see who she was directing it to.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't stay away!"
"Well, how about you try harder and just leave! I already told you I didn't want to see you anymore! Today is supposed to be a new beginning for us and it doesn't include you anymore! I gave you a chance and you threw it out the window, multiple times! So, just leave before she sees you!"
"She won't do a fucking thing to me! I have every right to see him and that's final!"
"See, that's where you're wrong! I know you're the father but I didn't put you down as his fatherin the birth certificate so you have nofucking right to see him! Everyone thought I was stupid, that I had no fucking idea what I was doing but when it comes to Max or Santana, don't you fucking dare question me! So, fucking leave before I get someone to kick you out!" Brittany was pissed by this point and Santana could tell she wasn't going to give in and she was rather proud of her girlfriend. Santana figured that she was talking to Artie so she stepped forward after sending Puck a text to come towards the back of the diner.
"What's the problem here?" Santana asked as if she hadn't heard anything.
"Mind your own fucking business" spat Artie, viciously glaring at her.
"Oh, Artie, I would say it's nice to see you but, let's be honest here, it really isn't. So, how about you get the fuck out and I don't call my back up to kick you the fuck out." Santana was standing her ground, crossing her arms over her chest and putting on her Head Bitch in Charge face.
"I don't have to do a fucking thing you say! So, mind your own fucking business Lopez! Plus, you think that just because you're fucking her" gesturing at Brittany, "that you're a parent to Max? Ha! Bitch, please. You need a fucking dick to make a baby, not even your magic fingers will help you!"
"Don't talk to her like that Artie! She is more of a parent than you'll ever be!"
"How would you know?! You never gave me a chance!"
"I never gave you a chance? For fucks sake! Artie, I told you first, I let you know what was happening and you said it wasn't yours! You showed up at my doorstep and still said he wasn't yours! And I am beyond grateful every fucking day that Max doesn't look a thing like you! That he has my heart and not yours! So, don't give me none of that "I never gave you a chance" bullshit because it makes you look pathetic. Just leave and never come back, it's the last time I'm asking you before I get a restraining order! I've had enough of your bullshit!"
"You heard the ladies Artie, leave." Puck chimed in and coming to the girls' defense.
"Now you're on their side?! I should have known! You were always a little bitch in high school after you knocked up Quinn Fabray."
"You leave her out of this. They are my girls. I will defend them like they share my blood and that doesn't make me any less of a man. Actually it makes me more of a man than you will ever be. So, leave before I punch you and break your nose, again."
"Fine, I'm walking out of here and I am never coming back. Max won't get a fucking dime out of me, ever again."
"That's fine, because apparently you forgot that Max has my parents and Brittany's parents that love him. He has Quinn and Rachel. He has Dani and Adam. He even has Puck. But most importantly, he has me and Britt. So, Max is set for life! He doesn't need a fucking thing from you and at the end of the day, he won't ever need you. So, fine, you want to act like a man and pretend that just because you have a dick, which, if I heard correctly, isn't that big, then go knock up someone else and be a decent parent somewhere else, because we don't need you. So, buh-bye!" Santana said waving him off before Puck picked him up and hauled him out of the diner.
"Are you okay baby?" Santana asked once she had turned around.
"Y-yeah, I'm good. Just a little worked up, I mean, I really wasn't expecting to see him here and then he kind of started acting like an ass and avoiding my plead to get him to leave. And then you got here and then-" Brittany was cut off by Santana's lip pressing into her and at first she had no idea what was going on but after her brain processed what was going on, she melted into the kiss. The kiss was gentle but it was filled with love.
"Woah" was all that Brittany said while both girls tried to catch their breath.
"I love you Brittany." Santana whispered wrapping her arms around Brittany's waist pulling her closer.
"I love you too Santana"
"Now come on, it's almost time for the count down and we have to go get Max!" Santana exclaimed, interlacing their fingers and pulling off with Brittany in tow to find Max.
After five or maybe ten minutes of looking for Max, they found him and came back to the stage where the DJ was.
"Hello New York City!" Beca exclaimed into her mic, "So it is about 15 minutes before midnight and I think our host of the evening would like to say a couple of words, so put your hands together for Santana Lopez!"
The crowd started clapping followed by Max yelling, "Momma Tana!" and wiggling out of Brittany's grasp and following the brunette up on stage. Santana smiled and picked him up while taking the mic Beca was handing her.
"Thank you," Santana started, "Max say hi to everyone"
"Hi!" he said into the mic with a small wave earning an "aww" from the crowd.
"So, I just wanted to say thank you for everyone that came out and made tonight a success. I know that Quinn and Rachel are around here and for once Rachel didn't want the spotlight," a small laughter came from the crowd, "But did ask me to say a couple of things, which, I guess I will. So, tonight, on behalf of Rachel, Quinn, Britt, Max and Beth, along with our families, we would like to say Thank you. Thank you for all the memories we have had this year together. From graduating high school with some of you, to experiencing college classes together. We invited you here to begin 2013 with not only a bang, but a new chapter in our lives that we hope you guys would fill with us. To my parents and abuela, thank you for your support in all my decisions. To the Pierce on behalf of Britt and Max, thank you for never leaving our side. To Judy Fabray, thank you for coming back and being a role model for us, on behalf of Rach and Q. To Mr. & Mr. Berry, daddies, I love you and thank you for everything; love, Rachel Barbara Berry so to be Fabray. To my best friends, thank you for putting up with me throughout my dark days. And to my beloved Brittany and Max, I love you both and I can't wait to have more years with the both of you. So, with all the thank yous handed out, Adam and Dani, welcome to this family. You'll meet the rest of the crazies tomorrow, "
Puck yelled, "Watch it Lopez, you owe me!"
"Too bad Dani is taken so watch it Puckerman! But anyways! I want Britt to come up here and do the count down with me and Max."
Brittany made her way up the stage and felt incredibly nervous, giving a small wave along with a smile.
"Alright New York, let's do this right! You guys ready!" Beca exclaimed, "We are at the thirty second mark!"
"Why are we on stage?"
"Because I want the world to know that you're mine!"
"Fifteen!" Beca yelled.
"Ready?" Santana asked looking at Brittany
"Always" Brittany replied.
Ten!
Nine! Eight!
Seven! Six!
Five! Four!
Three! Two!
Brittany pulled Santana into a kiss, crashing their lips together in a passionate kiss while Max threw his arms in the air clapping.
One!
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!
After pulling away in need of oxygen, Santana's eyes were a shade darker along with Brittany's but despite the lust filling their bodies, there was more love than anything.
"What was that for?" Santana asked, remembering that it happened before midnight.
"I wanted to give you a perfect end and a perfect beginning." Brittany replied with a smile before Santana pulled her back in for a kiss.
"Happy New Year's Brittany!" Santana exclaimed once they let go of each other.
"Happy New Year's Santana." Brittany replied, pecking her one more time.
"'Appy New 'Ear's mommies!" Max exclaimed hugging both of the girls by the neck.
"Best ending and beginning to the rest of our lives, don't you think?" Brittany asked as they made their way off stage towards the coward.
"Yeah, I guess when it comes to fate and who you belong with, there is no avoiding it." Santana replied.
Author's Note: Hey guys! So, here's Christmas Morning and New Year's! After this, I don't really have much to do, so suggestions are welcomed. But I think this story needs to be wrapped up so don't be surprised if it ends soon. The girls have come a long way and it's only a matter a time before Santana pops the Question. So thanks for reading and sticking through everything with me! I love you all xoxo Thank you :)
