Having just been down to the police station and having been accompanied by Rosie for support, both of them made their way back into the hospital.
"I think that police officer was coming on to me." Rosie announced as they walked through the corridor.
Sian laughed out as she glanced at the older girl next to her. "What makes you think that?"
"He asked for my phone number didn't he?!" Rosie stated as if it was the most obvious explanation ever.
"Rosie, he asked for your contact details in case they needed to ask you any further questions."
"Yeah, questions like "would you like to go out for dinner?" He was definitely into me."
Sian smirked and shook her head. If there was one thing she could always appreciate about Sophie's older sister, it was how optimistic she seemed to be able to be about everything. Sian realised that it was probably due to her being clueless a lot of the time, but that didn't take anything away from the fact it was also an endearing quality of the older girl.
"I'm going to go grab a cuppa before coming to see Soph." Rosie said as they approached the waiting area. "Want me to bring you one?"
"Yeah that'd be lovely, thanks Rosie." Sian replied as she continued down the corridor and the older girl turned the corner in the direction of the drinks machine.
Just as it did every time, Sian's stomach churned slightly as she approached the nurse's desk outside Sophie's room. They'd told her that they would call as soon as there was any change good or bad but that didn't stop her overthinking and worrying each time she left the hospital.
As she walked right up to it and before she even got a chance to speak, one of the nurses spoke first, knowing exactly what the blonde was going to ask.
"Still no change." She said to the blonde giving a small smile. "Her vitals are all still showing as quite positive right now."
"Thanks, Helen." Sian smiled as she made her way towards Sophie's room, but stopped as the nurse spoke again.
"Oh, Miss Powers. Tommy Duckworth has been asking for you."
"Tommy? He's awake?" Sian asked surprised. "When?"
"Just about an hour ago. He's a little groggy still but the doctor has been in to see him and says he's going to be okay, no permanent damage." The nurse smiled. "You can see him if you want. He's also been asking for Miss Webster."
"Thanks." Sian smiled as she turned to walk towards Tommy's room.

"So, can I meet you for lunch today?" Sophie asked as pulled up in the college car park and switched of the ignition before turning to look at the blonde beside her.
"Erm, I actually have plans with Kayleigh already."
"Oh…" Sophie frowned. "Okay, well maybe tomorrow?"
Sian nodded, but Sophie could tell there was something on the blonde's mind.
"What wrong?" she asked. "You and Kayleigh aren't together or something, are you?" she asked jokingly, but deep down she had for a while suspected that they might be, they seemed to spend enough time together.
"No, course not." Sian frowned as she shook her head but still didn't elaborate on what was up.
"Sian what is it?"
"Nothing… I just… well I just think maybe it's best if we don't spend too much time together."
Sophie's face dropped. "But I thought we had a good time the other night."
"We did, it was the most amazing date."
"Sure, you just don't want to see me again."
"It's not that. I just…"
"Are you ashamed to be with me?"
"What? No!" Sian objected. "Sophie I'm not ashamed. I do like you, but until you can keep out of trouble I can't be a full time part of your life."
Sophie nodded. She knew it had been too good to be true that someone as amazing as the blonde would see past all her bull and still consider sticking around.
"I understand, Sian and I guess I can't blame you." She looked into the bluest eyes which looked back at her and wanted nothing more than to lean over and kiss the younger girl. Their date a few nights previous had been the best night out Sophie could remember having with a girl and it hadn't involved drinking or anything else. She'd thought or at least hoped that it meant that something more could happen between them. "Well maybe we can do something this weekend..." But then she saw the hesitant look on Sian's face and her stomach swirled. "…or not."
"Thank you for the lift." Sian said quietly and Sophie could almost hear the apology in her voice.
"You're welcome." Sophie mumbled disappointedly. Sian leaned over to place a kiss on her cheek, but, the brunette quickly turned her face so that she met her lips instead, and she cupped her cheek gently in her hand.
The kiss lingered for a few seconds before Sian slowly pulled away. Sophie opened her eyes, removing her hand from Sian's cheek as she watched the blonde look between her eyes and bite her bottom lip.
"I can be better." Sophie told her quietly as they continued to look at each other for a few more moments.
"I know you can." Sian whispered before she sat back in her seat, picking up her bag from next to her feet. "Bye, Sophie." she said as she opened the car door and stepped out. Closing the door behind her, she gave a small wave leaving Sophie sat in her car watching her walk towards the college.
The brunette kept her eyes fixed on the younger girl until she rounded the corner out of sight. There had been very few things in her life she was willing to fight hard for, especially girl since they'd always never been that much of a challenge for her to get her over the past couple of years. But Sian was different. She didn't want Sophie because she had a daring and dangerous side, instead she wanted Sophie to keep out of trouble and she'd said the night of their date that she cared whether she got hurt.
In the past, other girls had mainly only cared whether the brunette could show them a good time and whether she'd done something that made her wild enough for them to be able to boast to their friends about.
It had been such an amazing time on their date, so good in fact that they'd lost track of time as they sat under the stars talking and learning more about each other. By the time Sian had noticed the time and said she should be getting home it had been almost 1am. Then when Sophie had been dropping her off outside her house, Sian hadn't stopped her from kissing her again even if it had only lasted a few moments. So when Sophie had seen her walking to the bus stop that Monday morning she hadn't thought twice about stopping to offer her a lift to college. The blonde had seemed a little hesitant to accept her offer at first but did and they'd chatted along the way, although it hadn't been as comfortable as a few nights earlier.
Now, as she watched Sian enter the main door of the college, Sophie let out a groan, leaning forward and resting her forehead on the steering wheel, thinking to herself that after having now kissed the blonde three times, there was no way she could go on without getting to do it again.

Standing outside a door with a brass number 16 on it in what seemed to be an apartment block, Sophie raised her hand and rapped her knuckles against it and waited a few moments before she heard it being unlocked and opened to reveal a petite blonde whose face suddenly lit up with a wide smile as she set eyes on her visitor.
"I was wondering if you were going to call." The blonde stated as Sophie scanned her eyes down the body of the girl in front of her that was wearing a vest top and the skimpiest shorts she'd ever seen.
"Yeah, erm…" she cleared her throat. "I've been busy."
"I can imagine." The blonde replied with a smirk. "So, you coming in?" she asked, holding the door to her apartment open and gesturing for the brunette to enter.
As she walked inside the apartment and the blonde closed the door, Sophie slipped off her jacket and watched the other girl make her way over to the kitchen. Her name was Natalie and she'd met her in a club a few of weeks earlier and not long afterwards gone back to her apartment with her where they'd spent the rest of the right on the sofa and the living room floor. The blonde girl was very pretty, she had a great body and she had been a lot of fun, but Sophie couldn't help but allow thoughts of another blonde enter her mind. A blonde who even was more beautiful, whose body she hadn't seen out of clothes but she was in no doubt was stunning, who she had talked to and opened up to more than she had with anyone, a blonde that she wanted more than any other girl, but a blonde that didn't want her in return, one that she couldn't have.
Shaking the thoughts from her mind, Sophie walked into the kitchen behind Natalie and approached her with the intention of getting Sian out of her head.
"Drink?" the blonde asked as she opened the fridge but she was stopped from getting anything from it as Sophie quickly slammed the fridge door closed again and pushed her up against it, pressing her body against her back.
"There's only one thing I want right now." Sophie whispered as she grabbed the blonde's hands and raised them up against the fridge so her palms were pressed against it. Slowly, she ran her hands back down her arms before trailing her nails along the material at the front of the vest top the girl was wearing until she reached the top of her shorts and hearing her breath hitch as she slipped her hand inside.

She was stood outside the front of the college with her friends talking about what each of them had got up to the night before. As one of the guys was making a comment on the fact that Sophie had once again managed to pull someone that as far as they were all concerned had been straight before she had met the brunette in the club a few weeks earlier, their attention being drawn to someone behind her caused Sophie to turn to see Sian stood looking unimpressed.
"Is it true?" the blonde stated.
"Is what true?" Sophie asked, unaware of what Sian was asking about, but she could tell from her eyes that it was something she wasn't necessarily happy about."
"You take me out on a date and then you go and sleep with someone else within days."
"Ohhh…" came the chorus from her mates still stood there and Sophie quickly turned to look at them.
"Guys! Can you give us a minute?" she asked seriously and they did as requested, walking off as they said something about meeting her after college.
Turning back to Sian, the blonde didn't only look unimpressed, but she also looked hurt.
"So?" she asked, prompting Sophie to speak.
"What makes you think I did?" Sophie asked, in what she knew was a pathetic attempt to get out of it.
"You should know better than anyone how fast word travels around this place. I was lucky enough to hear about it during first period. Do you have any idea how stupid I feel right now."
Sophie wanted to try and explain her way out of it, but didn't want to lie to Sian, so she really didn't know how to respond. She didn't know what Sian expected, this is what she did. She met girls, hooked up with girls, seduced them, very rarely seen them more than a couple of times to avoid complications or the other girl thinking they were in some kind of relationship. She'd not wanted to be in a relationship for so long and the minute she thought she'd found someone she did want that with, they hadn't wanted her back.
"What do you want me to say, Sian?" she asked.
"I want you to tell me the truth. You said all this stuff about how I wouldn't regret agreeing to go on a date with you, that I was worth making an effort for, that you could be better."
"And you said you didn't want to be with me!" Sophie quickly interrupted.
Sian stood quiet for a few moments and before she had the chance to reply, Sophie spoke again.
"I told you I can change if you'd just give me a chance to show you."
"And I'm beginning to think you're just very well practiced at knowing what you think a girl wants to hear."
"That's not true." Sophie defended.
"No?" Sian raised her eyebrows sceptically. "I finding it hard to believe you know the difference."
"I don't see why you're annoyed at me." Sophie frowned. "You're the one who made it clear nothing was going to happen between us." she stated. "You can't tell me that you don't want to be with me and then get annoyed when I find someone else who does."
"That's just it, I never…" Sian trailed off.
"What?" Sophie asked, badly wanting to know what Sian was going to say.
"I never said I didn't want to be with you. I just…" Sophie frowned as Sian looked down and seemed to stumble with her words some more.
"What?" Sophie asked as she took a step closer and Sian's eyes darted up to meet her own.
"I told you, I just can't risk getting mixed up in any trouble."
"And I told you I wouldn't let that happen." Sophie said softly. "I meant it when I said you were worth the effort, but that didn't make a difference, you still didn't want to give me a chance. You can't have it both ways, Sian, you either want to be with me or you don't. But not knowing what you want… it's messing with my head."
"That's not what I want to do. I don't mean to mess with your head, but you're doing the same to me. You said you could be better and you wanted to spend more time with me and then a few days later you go fuck some other girl."
"It didn't mean anything." Sophie told her, hearing Sian let out a sarcastic laugh, but she could also hear the hurt behind it and she let out a sigh before speaking again. "Look, I thought you wanted nothing to do with me… I'm sorry." Sophie said, trying to reach out as she took another step closer. "Can we try aga-"
"Don't." Sian stated as she took a step back halting Sophie's movement. "I can't do this. And you're right, I have no right to be angry with you, it's not like we are anything, right?"
"Sian, please."
Sian shook her head. "Let's just forget it okay. It's my fault, I should never have agreed to go out with you in the first place, it was a mistake."
Sophie's face dropped at the blonde's statement. And as Sian turned to walk away, Sophie called after her but got no response.
The brunette didn't know what else to do. She'd went and slept with Natalie in an attempt to get over how she felt about Sian and her rejection, but all it had done was make her feel worse. Not only because Sian had found out and was clearly upset about it, but because the fact she was upset about it had to mean that she cared. And it was that thought that made Sophie's stomach churn, that she'd completely ruined any chance she would have had with the blonde.

"So what you going to do to then?"
"Nothing."
"What do you mean "nothing"? You've never let a girl turn you down before and not managed to then get her in the end anyway."
"Because she sees passed all my bullshit. All the things about me that other girls like, she doesn't like me for that. She wants someone that I'm not anymore and I don't think I want to pretend to be just to dupe her into being with me."
"Being with you?" he asked with a laugh. "I thought you just wanted to get a shag."
"See, that's what I mean." Sophie sighed. "That's who I am and why should I stop being me just because one person doesn't like it?"
"Maybe because you like her enough to want more than just a one-time thing?" he stated raising his eyebrows causing Sophie to frown. "Is that possible?"
"What difference does it make? I already told her I would try to change and she still said no, she didn't even give me a chance."
"Maybe because at the first sign of a hurdle in front of what you wanted, you went and slept with another girl." Tony stated. "Maybe she just needed some time, Soph." he said. "Look, I'll admit you did kinda balls it up a bit by going straight out and shagging someone else." He told her as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, not appreciating the reminder. "But maybe you should try and make an effort to let her see you actually trying to change rather than just saying it… actions over words."
"When did you become so understanding and sensible about stuff like this?"
"Jezza Kyle, mate." He replied making Sophie laugh. "What? Yeah, the guy's a dickhead, but once in a while he speaks some sense."
00000000
An hour after she'd arrived back at the hospital Sian was sat with Tommy as he told her what he remembered from the night he was hit by the car and Sian updated him on everything that had happened since.
"I still can't believe that guy has done all this because he has some crazy grudge against Sophie. When I get out of here I swear I'm gonna make him wish he's never even laid eyes on either of you."
"Tommy, don't do that." Sian stated. "The police have him now and as much as I would like to see him suffer even a tiny amount of what he's put us all through, I don't want you or anyone else getting dragged further into this. Don't you think you've been through enough?"
Tommy let out a sigh as he glanced to the tube coming out of his hand and then to the machines that were still hooked up to him to monitor him a while longer. "I guess you're right." He agreed. "But I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure the police put him away for good."
"I know." Sian gave a small smile. "That's what we all want."
"I wish I could get out of this bed so I could visit Sophie. Tell her I'm expecting her to wake up. This is too good an opportunity to miss comparing battle wounds." Tommy said with a grin as he watched Sian raise her eyebrows.
"Hmm. Well I think before there's any comparing of anything, she's going to be getting an earful from me for staying in that building."
"Come on, Sian, we both know Sophie whether its Sophie from four years ago or a week ago, when it comes to stuff like that she would always have done the same thing, she never could leave a man behind. It's just something inside her that I don't think you'll ever be able to change."
"I don't want to change her, I love how caring she is. But she always puts everyone before herself and it places her in danger and that's the bit I don't like. I just wish sometimes that she would choose us, me and her, over everything and everyone else but I know that's selfish and that's not the person I fell in love with."
"Well when she wakes up, after everything the two of you have been through the past few years I think you have every right to ask her to tone down the heroics a little." Tommy smiled getting one in return from Sian.
"Thanks, Tommy. I'm so glad you're okay." Sian said getting a smile from the blonde lad as she stood up from her seat. "I'll pop back later and see how you're doing. Anything I can get you?"
"Actually, yeah. The food in these places is really not great. Reckon you could sneak me in a Maccies?" he asked as Sian laughed.
"I'll see what I can do." She told him as she made her way out of the room.
00000000
Dear Sian,
I know you probably hate me right now but I want you to know that I'm sorry for making you think we have nothing, because I believe we do. I know we've only been on one date and I know I messed up by doing what I did, and I also know it doesn't make it better when I say it meant nothing but I never would have done it if I thought there was a chance of something ever being between us.
I only did it because I was hurt and annoyed when you said we shouldn't spend time together. I know that's not even a good excuse, but the evening we did spend together was one of the best I've ever had, and like I already said to you before, you are the only one I've ever wanted to make that kind of effort for.
I understand if you now never want anything to happen between us, especially since I've went and wrecked it, but I just can't stand the thought that I'll never get to spend time with you at all. I really like you, Sian, but I've told you that already as well, and I'd like to spend time with you even if the only way that can be is just as friends.
I know it's asking for something I don't really deserve, but I need you to give me another chance. And if you do, I promise that this time you really won't regret it.
Love
Sophie
Sophie glanced over the letter to make sure she was still happy with what it said. She'd written it earlier that day after she'd seen the blonde in the corridor who didn't acknowledge her as they passed each other. She'd turned and watched as Sian spoke with her friends as they made their way to their next lesson and couldn't help but just think how beautiful she was and how she wished she was the one walking down the corridor with her making her smile and laugh.
Even though she'd told Tony she was over trying, she knew even at the time that she was lying to him and herself. She didn't know what it was exactly, but the blonde made her want to be better and show her and everyone else that she could be something more than she'd let herself become. Also, it didn't hurt that Sian was one of the most gorgeous girls she'd ever laid eyes on or that the kisses they'd shared had been the ones to stick in Sophie's mind more than any other.
She folded the letter neatly and slipped it back into the envelope before she approached Sian's friend Katie who was stood taking books from her locker. She wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but Sian had told her it was Katie who had convinced her to give her a chance in the first place, so it had to be her best shot.
"You're Katie, right?" she said as she stood behind the dark haired girl who quickly turned to face her.
"Erm, yeah?" she answered clearly wondering what she wanted. They'd never even acknowledged each other before and now Sophie was about to ask her for a favour.
"I'm Sophie. I-"
"I know who you are. Look, if you're here to plead your case then don't bother. You really hurt Sian with what you did and I feel responsible since I was the one dumb enough to tell her to go out with you."
"Look, I know what I did was messed up, I really know that okay. But as far as I was concerned Sian didn't want anything to do with me. She said we couldn't spend time together, even after we had an amazing date and she told me she liked me, she still went and acted like it didn't matter." Sophie told the younger girl. "I'm not asking you to think what I did was okay, I wouldn't expect that… all I want is, well she won't give me a chance to talk to her and when I try she just has a go at me."
"Can you blame her?" Katie asked raising her eyebrows.
"No, I get it alright. I was just hoping you could give this to her…" she said holding out the envelope which held the letter she'd written. "If I give it to her myself or leave it in her locker I'm worried she'll just rip it up without even opening it."
"So what do you want me to do, read it to her?"
"No, just tell her I'm really sorry and ask her to read it."
Katie looked at Sophie for a few seconds as if she was trying to read her face and whether or not she was being genuine.
"Fine." She finally said as she reached out and took the envelope from the brunette. "But you better not be trying to mess her around, she's a good girl."
"I know that. And I'm not trying to, I-" she stopped as the younger girl put her hand up in front of her.
"Save you're explanations for Sian." She told her as she turned and closed her locker before walking down the corridor and slipping the envelope in her bag.

She was walking through the college towards the cafeteria with her friends, her mind not really on what they were discussing.
"Alright, Webster." The sound of someone saying her name made her look to the side to see a vaguely familiar brown haired lad grinning back at her. "It's been a while."
She nodded her acknowledgment in his direction, not in the mood to start trying to find out where he though he knew her from and not really caring. Within seconds of them entering the cafeteria, her eyes had found the person who had been on her mind all morning. Sian was sat with her friend Kayleigh and a few others as Sophie walked by the table and looked at her wanting to say hi and wishing she was the one the blonde was having lunch with. Sian seemed to sense someone watching her and looked up in her direction, her eyes automatically locking with Sophie's as the brunette gave her a small smile in return.
She was suddenly torn from the moment as a body roughly knocked into the back of her shoulder jolting her forward.
"What the fuck?!" she blurted out as she straightened herself back up and looked to see the same brown haired lad from the corridor just minutes earlier stood grinning widely. She stepped towards him quickly but stopped as she heard her name said again, only this time she recognised the voice and she turned to see the blonde stood up next to the table watching her.
'…until you can keep out of trouble I can't be a full time part of your life' she heard the blonde's words from earlier that morning echo in her mind.
Turning back to the lad who had knocked into her she looked him straight in the eye. "You'll wanna watch where you're going in future."
"You're not going to let him get away with that are you?" Jamie asked surprised that Sophie Webster hadn't already knocked the guy responsible to the floor.
"It's not worth it. Come on." She said as she went to walk around him.
"You don't remember me do you?" The brown haired lad spoke, grinning widely and looking extremely pleased with himself.
"Should I?" Sophie asked sarcastically, still trying to calm herself down from the fact he had intentionally shoved her just moments before.
"Well I'm guessing Anna didn't forget me so quickly." Sophie's face dropped as she realised exactly who was stood in front of her, the boy who had slept with her first girlfriend, the girlfriend who cheated on her because she was spending too much time with her family and her sick mum.
"Josh."
"See…" his Cheshire cat grin growing impossibly wide. "I knew you'd remember me. So, how's tricks? Any girlfriends you need help satisfying?"
Sophie felt her whole body tense and the sound of her own blood was whirring in her ears as she glanced around the cafeteria seeing more people start to take an interest. There was a couple of tutors in the far corner who hadn't seemed to pay them any attention yet and she was pretty sure she could get in a couple of decent punches before anyone split them up.
"It's okay Webster, some of us have a gift when it comes to the ladies and then others are just dirty little dykes.
As she went to lunge towards him, she felt a hand grip her arm before slowly sliding down it and slipping into her own hand making her look to her side to see Sian next to her.
"Well I find that she's plenty satisfying for me." Sian grinned at the lad in front of them. "In fact a little too much sometimes." She said before she met the gaze of the brunette who frowned slightly at her.
"You and her?" Josh asked.
"That's right." Sian answered, resting her free hand on the brunette's stomach. "And you're right, she's filthy. Some of the things I let her do to me, you'd be shocked."
"Sian, what are y-" Sophie went to ask what she was doing, but was stopped as Sian's lips pressed against her own and a few seconds later her tongue in her mouth, as she heard her friends saying something in the background but she was too distracted to make out what.
After a few moments Sian pulled back and stared into Sophie's eye for a matter of seconds before glancing at the brown haired lad still stood across from them who looked lost for words.
"Let's get out of here." she said looking back to the older girl who nodded, still slightly bemused over what had just occurred but willingly led the blonde towards the door.
"Sian, what's going on?" Kayleigh asked watching in shock as they walked past the table she was still sat at.
"I'll call you later." Sian whispered back as she followed Sophie out of the cafeteria and towards the college exit.
As soon as they were outside, Sian let out a giggle. "That was fun." She smiled as Sophie watched her curiously, still holding her hand.
"Why did you do that for me?"
"You were going to hit him, weren't you?" Sian asked as she stopped walking and she turned to Sophie, her expression now more serious.
"He'd have deserved it."
"Maybe… but you would have got into trouble, maybe even kicked out of college. Is he worth that?"
Sophie shrugged. She had wanted to take Josh's head off and in the moment she hadn't cared what the consequences were. The only thing that had stopped her was Sian, and it seemed strange to her that the blonde cared so much whether or not she got into trouble.
"You know everyone's going to think we're together now right?"
"I don't care what other people think." Sian said. "Do you?"
"I care what you think." Sophie told her truthfully.
"Yeah?" Sian asked getting a nod in response. "Well in that case, there is one thing."
"What?" Sophie felt herself frown.
"Well if I'm going to let you take me on another date this weekend, I need to know that you're not going to pounce on someone the minute they say or do something you don't like." Sophie raised her eyebrows as Sian started walking again and she followed.
"This weekend?" she asked.
"Yep." Sian answered simply.
Sophie stopped walking again and tugged lightly on Sian's hand causing her to halt as well and turn to look at the brunette again.
"So you'll go out with me again?"
"Can I trust you to not get into any fights?"
"Yes." Sophie answered quickly as Sian smiled in response.
"Then yes, I'll go out with you again."
Sophie couldn't hold back the smile that spread across her face. "Really?"
Sian giggled as she returned the massive grin that was beaming from Sophie's face. "Yessss, really."
The older girl tugged lightly on the blonde's hand pulling her closer as they looked into each other's eyes. Sophie leaned in slowly trying to judge whether or not she should kiss the younger girl and seeing no sign that Sian didn't want her to, she pressed their lips together, feeling the blonde squeeze her hand the tiniest bit tighter.
Pulling back, Sophie licked her lips and smirked making Sian look at her squinting her eyes slightly in question.
"So…" Sophie stated as she reached up and tucked a piece of hair behind Sian's ear. "Tell me more about these filthy things you let me do to you."
Sian quickly threw a playful punch into the brunette's shoulder making her laugh.
"Watch it, Webster, before I change my mind about that date."
00000000
"Thanks." Sian smiled, as the nurse exited the room. She placed the magazine she had been reading on her lap and shuffled forward on her seat so she could lean on the edge of Sophie's bed.
"I think you're popular with then nurses here, Soph. I'm pretty sure if I wasn't here almost 24/7 they'd be arguing over who got to monitor you." Sian said as she breathed out a small laugh. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but even when you're in a coma I still get a little jealous at the thought of other women fancying you. You'd think after this long I would have gotten used to it."
A couple of the nurses had commented on how pretty the brunette, one saying just the previous day that it was obvious she was beautiful even with her cuts and bruises. Sian had simply taken it as a kind compliment towards her fiancé, but then there was Rosie who had been in the room at the same time. The older girl had taken it upon herself to suggest that the nurse was totally into her little sister. Sian had laughed at the idea at first but at the same time knew that given Sophie's past record it was completely possible.
She reached out her right hand and slipped her hand under the brunette's, entwining their fingers as she leaned her other elbow on the bed and rested her chin on her hand.
"How many times have we argued over stuff like that in the past eh? I've been annoyed at you so many times whether it was about you thinking I was flirting with someone else or other girl's being so obvious when they approached you and you not telling them to get lost. Even when we first met and you made it so clear that you wanted me and I wasn't ready so you went off with someone else. You've always driven me mad, Sophie Webster, but I'd give anything right now for you to wake up and drive me a little mad."
She looked up at the heart monitor as it started beeping slightly faster just had it had done a couple of days previous and couldn't help but think back to what the nurse had said. If Sophie was having dreams, Sian hoped it was sweet ones and that the brunette wasn't repeating the nightmares she'd had for weeks when she first came home. One thing she knew however, was that after everything her and Sophie had faced so far, there was no way she would give up on the brunette, not ever.
