The next day, The group waited in the hall for their new school schedules. McGonagall came up to them.
"I have your schedules right here. Your first class starts in an hours." She said.
"So what's our first class?" Beck asked.
"Its charms." Robbie answered.
"Hey has anyone seen Tori?" Andre asked.
"She went down into the place where she found the painted guy." Cat said.
"Well I hope she gets back soon." Andre stated. Mean while down below the school Tori was preparing her spell.
"Hello Tobias." Tori said. "Good ole Tori has found a way to free you."
"Great." Tobias said with a smirk.
"Okay, hold still." Tori pulled out her wand. "A Pingendo!" Tori shouted pointing her wand at the paint. A light erupted blinding Tori. When the light faded Tori look to see a tall man with greasy brown hair. His five a clock shadow.
"Thank you Tori. Now you had better go before the man who trapped me comes down and catches us both." Tobias said as he ran off.
"You did good Tori, you did good." Tori praised herself. She manage to return to the hall.
"Oh there you are Tori, our class starts in fifteen minutes." Andre stated. "Where have you been?" he asked.
"Oh just helping out a poor man." Tori said proudly.
"Well you could have told us where you were off to." Andre said.
"Oh well at least she won't be obsessing over him anymore." Jade said.
"So what's our first class?" Tori asked.
"Charms, with professor Flitwick." Beck informed Tori. They took off for charms class when Trina ran up to them.
" Did any of you hear the good news?" She asked.
"What news?" Beck asked.
"Sikowitz has a painting of himself in this very school." She said.
"Cool how did that happen?" Robbie inquired.
"I don't know no one has seen him since yesterday." Trina explained.
"What?" Beck asked.
"I have no time to explain if you want to see the painting it's in the third hallway to your right." Trina shouted running off. They speed down the hall and found the painting.
"Guys I think Snape has trapped Sikowitz in a painting." Tori whispered.
"What the devil is going on here?" Snape asked. Tori and the rest turned to see Snape staring them down. "I see you have found Sikowitz." He said mysteriously.
"Did you do this?" Jade asked him.
"No I'm afraid this is someone else handy work, but I did help… slightly." Snape's lips curled. "All of you youngsters should be heading off to your first class, before you get into yourselves into trouble. You don't want another detention do you?" He asked darkly.
"No I'm all set." Beck said smoothly.
"Yeah me too." Andre agreed.
"I don't want detentions." Cat said.
"Good, now all of you get on your way." Snape said.
"Okay we're on our way." Tori said, nervously stepping backwards.
"Oh Miss Vega." Snape called her back. "I must warn you curiosity is a very dangerous thing, I would tread carefully if I were you." He turned and walked away. They took off running to the charms class room.
"Now do you believe me about him." Tori said after class.
"Hey we never said we didn't." Andre argued.
"It doesn't matter he's trapped Sikowitz." Tori argued.
"Wait he said he helped, he didn't do the whole thing on his own." Jade reminded Tori.
"Why are you defending him?" Tori asked her.
"He's my father that's why and he hasn't ." Jade snapped.
"Well you daddy is trapping people in paintings." Tori squabbled.
"You're only accusing him because he's been giving you a hard time!" Jade shouted.
"You are only defending him because he's you father!" Tori shouted.
"Yes that what daughters do, you suck fish!" Jade defended. "And besides that Tori, I don't think he did this!"
"Then why would he say that he helped, Miss Smarty-pants!" Tori shouted.
"Don't you ever call out the intelligent of my pants again!" Jade warned.
"Uh girls I think we should continue our discussion elsewhere." Beck suggested.
"I have nothing left to discuss with this beaver duck!" Jade shouted turning away to leave.
"Did she just call me a platypus?" Tori looked around to see they were drawing the attention of a crowd.
"I believe she did." Andre answered.
"Don't you guys have anything better to do?" Tori asked walking away. During transfiguration when everyone enter the room. Jade was already waiting Tori down sat in her seat, but the chair was pulled out from under her.
"Oh no looks like I wasn't watching my own sweet bottom." Jade mimicked in her Judy Garland voice.
"How many times do I have to tell you I don't talk like that. I never have and I never will!" Tori shouted.
"Miss Vega what are you shouting about?" McGonagall asked.
"Jade pulled the chair from under me and proceeded to mock me, in the Margaret Hamilton voice.
"I did not! I mocked you in a Judy Garland voice." Jade admitted.
"So you did pull the chair from under her?" McGonagall asked.
"No… I used a vanishing spell." Jade said.
"Miss West why." She asked.
"I felt like it." Jade shrugged off.
"Twelve points from Slytherin, and you have detention with me at 8." McGonagall informed her. Jade rolled her eyes. "Now you are too silently write down the incantations in chapter ten of your spell books." Later in the common room. Tori Andre and Beck sat by the fire.
"I don't understand why she hates me." She said.
"Well, you did accuse her father of doing evil things." Andre stated.
"Because he is." Tori whined.
"Look Tori, we believe you but Jade has been going through a lot. She Just found out that her dad wasn't her real dad. Do you know what that is like?" Andre explained.
"Yes." Tori snapped. Beck and Andre gave her a look.
"So your adopted?" Andre asked.
"No… but Jade could have been nicer." Tori argued. "I mean I would have at least…"
"I'm sorry but have you never meet Jade." Beck said. "She doesn't typically react how most girls do."
"Look Tori maybe you should give her a break, keep this Snape is evil thing quiet for a while, because you don't have a lot of evidence, and you going to need more than a he said story to convict him." Andre suggested.
"Well okay I'll give it a break but what about Sikowitz?" Tori asked.
"Just use the same spell you used to free the other guy." Andre said.
"Okay, I'll use it tomorrow. Thanks." Tori said. They went to bed and slept till morning, they immediately went to the painting of Sikowitz but it was gone.
