New Chapter yay! Originally this chapter and chapter 19 were both one chapter but I felt 3000 words would be annoying. Chapter 19 needs a quick edit and will be out shortly along with character profiles.

Zoro has finished his training so he, Hawk and Perona head to Shabaody. Hawk is finally going to start his crew and go about his crazy plan.

Hawk's Story: One Piece

Chapter 18

Hawk, Perona and Zoro left Kuraigana Island in two separate ships for Shabaody Archipelago. Hawk was in his small ship, while Zoro and Perona were in their own. Hawk told them that he was going to do something crazy and to not get involved. They were curious, but Hawk remained vague. Once they arrived at Shabaody they docked the ships at Grove 14. Hawk fed the Southbird then headed to guild Zoro to Grove 13 and the 'Rip-Off' Bar. Unfortunately, while Hawk was flirting with Perona, Zoro got lost. Perona used that as an excuse to get away from Hawk. The 'Rip-Off Bar just around the corner so he decided not to wait for Perona to find Zoro. Plus, he wanted to talk to Rayleigh alone about starting a crew. He made it to the 'Rip Off' Bar but headed around back and visited Jess' grave. He stood there for a short while before going inside to greet Shaky. She was standing behind the counter reading the paper. "It's been a while." He greeted. Shaky looked up and smiled.

"Well look who it is. You're all grown up now." Shaky said.

"It's good to see you again. Nice to see a familiar face." Hawk said sitting at the bar.

"So, what brings you here?" Shaky asked, handing him a drink.

"I'm starting a crew and I need to find Marcus and talk to Rayleigh." Hawk said.

"Marcus mentioned you were starting a crew." Shaky said. "He's and Matthew are out right now and Rayleigh just got caught by a group of slavers."

"What? Did you try and stop them?" Hawk asked in a panic.

"It happens a lot. Each time more of them come, but he always makes it back with a bag of money." Shaky said with a smile.

"That sounds like Rayleigh." Hawk said. He finished his drink and stood up to leave. "Luckily I was headed to the auction hall anyways."

"Is that where you're looking for your crew?" Shaky asked.

"That's one of the reasons." Hawk answered.

"What's the other?" She asked.

Hawk took the newspaper he was reading earlier out of his pocket and handed it to her. "All seven Celestial Dragons are attending the auction today." Shaky said.

"That's right and I'm gonna kill them all." Hawk said.

"You're what?! Coming from someone who gives a damn, that's the stupidest thing you could ever do!" She shouted.

"I'm glad you approve."

"Hawk this is serious. You can't handle the repercussions by yourself."

"That's what the crew and Rayleigh are for." Hawk said with a grin.

She sighed. "You're as crazy as Luffy."

"You mean Straw-Hat Luffy? How do you know him?"

"I met him and his crew when Hachi introduced them two years ago."

"That explains why Zoro was headed here." Hawk said. "By the way what do you guys think of Marcus?"

"He's a sweet young man. Very helpful. He wasn't too fond of the idea of joining a pirate crew at first, but Rayleigh spoke highly of you and his stories seemed to sway the Boy."

"That's good. I'm glad. I hope I find him before I get to the Auction House."

"Just be safe, okay."

"I'll try my best."

Hawk headed out and began to make his way from grove to grove casually looking for Marcus and Matthew. He was in grove 6 when he noticed a flying fish rider. He could tell they weren't Duval's because he could see them kidnapping someone. Hawk used his Haki to jump as high as he could, but he couldn't reach them in time. "Damn it." He said out loud.

"You sick of them too?" A familiar man greeted, stepping out of the shadows.

"Well shit, that was easier than I thought." Hawk greeted back. He walked over and extended his hand. "How you been Marcus?"

"Been pretty good. You hook us up with some good people." He said shaking Hawk's hand. "So I take it you're here to start our crew?"

"That's right."

"Just so you know Matthew isn't coming with us."

"How come?" Hawk asked turning to Matthew.

"Sorry, I love traveling the Grand Line, but I'm not cut out for the New World. Maybe someday I will be." He told him.

"What are you gonna do instead?"

"Rayleigh said I could stay and help out Shaky and run errands. They'll give me a room, free food and pay me so it's a good deal."

"That's great. Well let us know if you ever want to join us."

"I will." Matthew smiled and shook Hawk's hand. "Now I gotta get these supplies back to Shaky. I'll see you guy later I assume."

"We'll be back eventually." Hawk said. He and Marcus waved goodbye to Matthew and went their separate ways.

"So where are we going?" Marcus asked.

"The Human Auction House. We need to recruit some more members. Plus, we're going to kill the Celestial Dragons." Hawk answered nonchalantly.

"What did you just say?!" Marcus shouted.

"You heard me." Hawk said.

"Do you know how fucking crazy that is?"

"Of course. But they need to die or else the world will always be at their mercy."

"What have I gotten myself into?" Marcus chuckled. "They're the worst of the worst so I'm not gonna back out."

"That's what I wanted to hear."

"So, what's the plan exactly?"

"The Celestial Dragons are attending today's big auction because only pirates are being sold. I'm going to sit in the crowd and buy everyone there. You stand by the door and make sure no one gets out."

"We're not killing everyone there, are we?"

"No, we're not murderers. I'm going to knock them out."

"How are you gonna knock out an entire crowd?"

"I have the Conqueror's Haki."

"You're more incredible than the rumors say."

"I'm sure you're pretty incredible yourself."

"I don't know."

"Come on. You were a Vice-Admiral that fought Rob Lucci, you've gotta be pretty strong."

"I guess. I know all six forms of Rokushiki and the Rokukogun. Plus, I ate the Metal-Metal Fruit. That's the only reason I survived Lucci's attacks."

"That all sounds pretty incredible to me." Hawk told him earing a shrug.

`They continued walking until they were at the Auction House. They were about ten minutes early so they waited outside and talked. They were standing off to the side when the saw the Celestial Dragon Charloss walking towards the Auction House. Everyone was kneeling as they always do, when they saw a man sneeze. Charloss stopped and walked over to the man.

"I'm so sorry Lord Charloss, please forgive me!" The man said bowing his head.

Charloss took his pistol and shot the man in the head. "What was that? I can't hear you, you're dead, hahaha." Charloss said.

The little boy next the man started to cry. "Uncle no! Marines do something!" He shouted. They ignored him. He had to be thirteen at the most. He had brown messy hair, brown eyes and was missing a top tooth on the right side of his mouth. The way he dressed was interesting. He wore normal tan pants, a button up light blue shirt and a Marine jacket that was too big for him.

Before Charloss could turn to shoot him, Hawk sped over and picked up the boy. He was moving so fast no one saw him. "Where did that insolent boy go?" Charloss asked his guards. They shrugged. "No matter."

When Charloss went inside Hawk went back over to Marcus so they could talk to the boy. "Are you okay?" Hawk asked.

"N-no. Uncle was all I had left." The boy said through his tears.

"What's your name?" Marcus asked.

"Toboe. Why did they do that? They're the Government they're supposed to be the good guys."

"Not them. They're evil and the Marines let them do what they want because of who they're ancestors are." Hawk answered.

"But I was gonna be a Marine like my dad, I can shoot better than anyone. How can I work for someone so evil?" Toboe asked.

"I have an idea. Why don't you join our crew?" Marcus asked.

"You're pirates?" Toboe asked back.

"Yeah but we're good pirates. We're getting rid of all the evil in the world." Marcus said.

"Even those people?" Toboe asked referring to the Celestial Dragons.

"That's what we're doing first." Hawk answered.

"Then I'll join your crew. It's the least I can do, for you getting revenge for me." Toboe said, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"And don't worry we'll give your Uncle a proper burial at sea." Hawk said.

"Thank you."

"Now you wait here. This is gonna be dangerous." Marcus said. Toboe nodded.

They walked over and picked up Toboe's Uncle and brought him over. Toboe placed his Marine jacket over his Uncle. They left Toboe off to the side so no one could see him and then went into the Auction House.
