Greetings mortals! So, I'm back! Did anyone miss me? Anyone? Really? No one? Well fuck that shit... Alright mortals. I'll be brief. I've got a shit ton going on at home. You don't need to know, and I doubt you care anyway, but yeah. Point is, just assume everything is on hiatus for now. However due to the prompting of a certain waatp I'm going to try and actually write. But I don't know how well all of this is going to work out. So yeah. Deal with shit aca-bitches. I promise to try and write as much as I can but this really isn't a priority for me right now. So yeah. I'm done now.
Actually, no I'm not. Everyone cheer for I have found a new beta! Everyone, the one and only waatp has graciously agreed to help me not spew complete shit and to beta my word vomit. So everyone, big round of applause to her and seriously, go check out her stuff too. It's INCREDIBLE and she doesn't get the recognition she deserves and we're writing the worlds greatest fic together (mostly her, and I just nod and say it's perfect, no changes needed but merp). So yeah, check out Sleepwalkers, think I promo'ed it in here a while back... and any of her other stuff but yeah. Guys, AWESOME fic, and yep. Das it for now... I'll ramble on later at the bottom.
I own nothing too, BTW, so stop fucking asking :D
Lina Posen stood, with a face like thunder, drumming her fingers on the kitchen counter. She was three minutes into a particularly irritating phone call and really didn't want to be listening to anything the deadbeat on the other end of the line had to say.
Lina was obviously much different from the standard issue, uniform Posen, as was quite obvious by her number of piercings, wide smile and bright blue hair. Also, if you didn't know, you'd never guess that the sapphire haired, loud mouthed, rather rude and crude, unapologetically honest woman would be a Posen, because, let's be honest, someone says Posen, and the first word that comes to mind is perfection.
But to be honest, she couldn't give a rat's hairy fucking ass about how people thought she should look or act, just because she was a God damn Posen. She was her own God damn person, thank you very much and she acted as such. It was her life, and she wasn't going to let some stereotype or conformist model control her life.
In fact, for a long time, Lina actually tried to go against all of her father's teachings. She did her damndest to do the exact OPPOSITE of EVERYTHING her father used to try and drill into her head. Which occasionally led her to being found in a few rather compromising situations. Fuck that shit. Y'all don't have to know about the Ouija boards or the drugs or even the sex. But what you did have to know was that for a long time, Lina Posen was everything that a Posen was not.
However, eventually she realized that by TRYING to rebel against her father, she was still allowing him to win. She was living her life to try and prove something to someone else. And despite her doing the opposite of what her father would have wanted, she was still letting her father control her life. So Lina stopped trying then. She just lived life. She didn't think about what someone else would say, didn't think about what someone else would think; she just did what made her happy. And you know what? She was actually really contented with life.
Yeah, okay, so she wasn't having the 5 star meals everyday anymore prepared by a private chef or living in a penthouse. She didn't have the weekly massage, personal trainer or the accounts at Prada and Saks. She was actually eating microwave dinners most nights, colored her own hair and did her own nails. She lived in a small, but decent one bedroom apartment in upper New York City. She worked everyday, or at least, she used to work everyday, as a music teacher. She actually still had a substantial trust fund left from her father, and could easily afford a nicer apartment, but to be honest, Lina didn't give a shit about money. She donated large sums of cash to charity each money because it made her happy. She was content with where she was now, and really, that was all that mattered.
She'd learned a long time ago that money most certainly did not buy happiness. Yes, to a certain point, it facilitated life, it certainly made certain aspects more enjoyable but should existing start to revolve around that worthless green paper, it meant life no longer was fun. Or spontaneous. And to be honest, that really was all Lina wanted out of life.
Of course, just because Lina wanted life to be fun and happy didn't always mean it turned out that way. And just because she was more of a rainbows and glow sticks kind of girl didn't mean she didn't know how to rip some guy a new one either. Don't let the comfortable persona fool you.
"Listen you fucking asshole," Lina snarled, "You stay the fuck away, alright? I'm still a Posen you shit, and I still know how to fuck your life up. So unless you want to spend the rest of your life as a fucking local, 'no name', shitty divorce lawyer, I'd shut the hell up and do what I tell you... No, I don't give a fuck what HE has to say. He can go suck my fucking dick! No- yes, I am aware I'm a girl fuck head. I don't give a shit. Fucking back the fuck off, or I'll fucking make you regret ever taking this case, got it?"
Angrily clicking the end call button on her phone Lina had to use every ounce of self control she had to not hurl her phone against the wall. Who the fuck did that asshole think he was, fucking challenging her like that? For sure, her father had disowned her and shit, but for fucks sake, she was no push over! Despite hating most things that came with her last name, she was still raised a Posen. And Lina definitely could agree that Posen, well people generally really, should never back down from a fight if it was for something they believed in.
Gently setting her phone down on the kitchen countertop, Lina took a deep breath and tried to calm down. They wanted shit to get real? So fucking be it! She was NOT going to let them get away with this, and she sure as shit wasn't going to let them do this to Aubrey. Closing her eyes, Lina forced herself to completely calm down. She opened the freezer door and stuck her head as far in as she could, just to take some of the heat out of her brain. And then she laughed at herself. And felt immediately better.
It wouldn't do for her to make this next phone call as pissed as she was now. She needed to be cool, calm, and collected now. Everything was riding on her now, and if she goofed now, Aubrey was going to be in a world of hurt because of her. And hadn't Aubrey been through enough?
Keeping her eyes closed, Lina focused on her breathing and on her heartbeat, letting both return to normal. Having calmed down, Lina opened her eyes and withdrew her head from the freezer, clicking the door shut. She stared blankly at the ceiling for a few seconds. Once she'd felt like she was ready to continue, Lina picked her phone back up. Taking one last deep breath, Lina quickly keyed in her password and then pulled up the dial pad. With trembling fingers, Lina slowly typed in the oh so familiar number, praying that man still had kept the same number.
Clenching her jaw, Lina tried to remain calm as she waited for the man to pick up. Finally, on the 5th ring, as always, she heard the sickening and oh so familiar voice greet her.
"Cut the bullshit jackass," Lina snapped, in no mood for games, "Now listen up. I need you to do something for me..."
Aubrey pursed her lips, eyes quickly darting back to Chloe's as she tried to pay attention to what the ginger had to say. However, try as she might, she found her eyes drifting back over to watch the small brunette singing and dancing with the rest of the group.
"Aubrey? Hey Aubrey?" Chloe called, trying to get Aubrey's attention.
"Oh right, yes Chloe?" Aubrey said, her eyes once more snapping back to Chloe's, "My sincerest apologies Chloe, I-"
"-Hey chill Aubrey. Its all good," Chloe smiled, "I was just wondering if you heard a word of what I'd just said."
"I apologize but I have been slightly distracted as of late," Aubrey said sheepishly, "I do believe we were talking about the final performance, were we not?"
"Yeah we were," Chloe smiled, "Now, do you remember anything else I'd said?"
"Unfortunately, I do not," Aubrey said apologetically, "I had been momentarily distracted by-"
"-Beca's fantastic tits? Dude, I would be too," Chloe smirked.
"Excuse me?!" Aubrey all but screeched, her face flaming instantly. "I do NOT know what you meant by that Chloe."
"Uh huh, suuuuuure you don't," Chloe smirked, turning away. Walking off, Chloe looked back over her shoulder at a bewildered and now only slightly red Aubrey, throwing one last joke back through the air, "Its all good Bree! They really are fab though!"
Trying to compose herself, Aubrey willed the color in her cheeks to go back down. Where was a freezer when you needed one. Fuck it all, she was NOT staring at Beca's boobs. She wasn't! Admittedly, Beca did have a nice pair, but Aubrey wasn't staring at them. She really wasn't.
She actually was staring at Beca's face, her perfect nose, her wonderful lips, her glossy hair, her great ... no, back to the point in hand. Her face, just a face. This, as Chloe would say, was also fabulous too. Shuddering a bit at even thinking of such a ridiculous word, Aubrey took a second to get herself all sorted out. She had a team to captain right now, and it would not do for her to be distracted by something as silly as Beca or any of her wonderful assets.
"Oi! Captain Posen!" Fat Amy bellowed, finally breaking Aubrey out of her reverie, "Who's soloing for the first set?"
"Soloing for the first set?" Aubrey parroted, kicking herself for being such an ass.
"Yeah mate!" Amy smiled, "Have you made your decision yet? Because you know, some people might want to solo, but are just too shy and not want to say something-"
"-Amy, if you want to solo, I'd request you simply ask me forthright rather then try and use-" Aubrey started.
"-Oi Blondie, I haven't a CLUE what you're saying, but were you just telling me that I can solo?" Fat Amy asked.
"If you can properly ask to do so, then yes," Aubrey smirked.
"Huh?" Amy asked, scrunching her face up in confusion.
"Amy, I think she's saying to just ask to solo rather then try and not ask, and have her give it to you!" Beca called from the other side of the room, "Not too sure though, cuz I think Chloe's the only one in this room smart enough to speak Aubrey!"
"Oh, well in that case, can I take a solo captain?" Fat Amy asked.
"Very well," Aubrey said, slightly distracted.
Striding across the room with a powerful step, Aubrey headed over to where Beca was, and where Stacie was aiding her with choreography, Aubrey glared. How dare the little fucking hobbit insult her like that! Stacie, as oblivious as always, didn't notice Beca suddenly stiffen, nor did she notice the death glare Aubrey was now giving her until she finally looked into the mirror and saw Aubrey's angry face.
"Oh hey pretty lady!" Stacie flirted, winking, "What can I do for you babe?"
"If you could please remove yourself from this general vicinity it would be most appreciated," Aubrey said though gritted teeth, currently too irked at Beca to care for Stacie's flirtations.
"So, I still don't know what you're saying," Stacie purred, taking a step closer to Aubrey, "But its still super sexy babe. How about me and you go 'study' somewhere, okay? Teach me-"
"-Enough!" Aubrey snapped, glaring at Stacie, anger overriding fear for once, "Stacie, it would appear, your lust filled mind is unable to properly comprehend anything other than notions of a lecherous nature. So, please, allow me to put this in simple terms in the hope that you can make sense of my words. Leave. Now. I can tolerate your presence, but I will not tolerate your advances. I have no feelings for you in any way. Your friendship would be nice. However, I want nothing more from you. Nor would I ever want casual sexual intercourse. Am I understood?"
"Uuuuuuuuuuuh...?" Stacie said, her eyebrows shooting up into her hairline in confusion at Aubrey's tirade, "No, not really. I heard casual sex though. So does that mean we can have -?"
"NO!" Beca and Aubrey shouted at the same time.
Bursting out with laughter, Stacie howled with mirth while Beca and Aubrey both flushed beet red. Awkwardly looking around, purely by coincidence (or perhaps on purpose, seeing as their eyes appeared to be magnets at inappropriate times) Aubrey's bright green eyes met Beca's steel blue ones.
The effect was immediate. Aubrey's breath caught, and her heart began to beat wildly. It was as though time stopped for her and at that moment, nothing existed but her and Beca.
"So, still hot, but still a no though?" Stacie asked. Looking over at Beca and Aubrey, still lost in their own world the light bulb went off in her head, "Hey wait. Are you two like a thing? Because if you are, that's totally cool. But then I guess you really do have to pass on all of this."
"I beg your pardon?" Aubrey asked, eyes snapping away from Beca's.
To be honest, she was slightly aghast that someone would even think that SHE would be a "thing" with Beca Mitchell. A thing? Beca and her would be so much better than a 'thing'. Not that she would MIND that much of course, but they weren't! They weren't! Beca didn't even like her. So how the aca-hell could they be a thing if Beca didn't even like her? It was technically impossible. So obviously they were not a thing.
"We are not a thing Stacie," Aubrey snapped.
"Yeah, fuck no! We're not a fucking thing!" Beca said, though Aubrey could have sworn she saw something odd bubble beneath the surface of those steely blue stormy eyes; it's wasn't disgust, it was just something. "Why the fucking hell would you think that?!"
"Uh the way you two are always looking at each other, the whole eye fucking you give each other everyday at practice, the way you're both always suddenly really awkward around each other, and not to mention the RAGING sexual tension whenever one enters the room the other one is in!" Stacie said, ticking each thing off on her fingers, "Oh, and then the way you both argue all the time like a married couple! So yeah. You guys sure you're not a thing?"
"YES!" They both shouted before both awkwardly glancing down at their feet. Beca stomped her heavy boot against the floor a couple of times.
"Oh, and the whole speaking at the same time thing now too! Too darn cute if you ask me." Stacie said cheerfully, "So was that a yes to the thing, or a yes to the not a thing?"
"Stacie, we, that is Beca Mitchell and I are not a thing," Aubrey said slowly, "I personally do not hold any sort of feeling toward Beca, and I am almost entirely SURE she does not either. Therefore, we are not a thing. We argue because we are both forceful personalities, and our opinions rarely align. Not for any other reason. However, even with this, I still hold no interest for you in a romantic or even physical manner. Am I understood?"
"No. Not at all." Stacie said honestly, "Maybe in English?"
Before Aubrey had a chance to try and make the taller brunette understand, Beca jumped in.
"Stace, Aubrey's not gay," Beca said, "And she's a prude, so yeah, zero chance at flipping her to the other side with mind blowing sex as well. We're not a thing dude so cool? I don't like Aubrey any more then she likes me, so just drop it now, okay?"
"Fiiiiiiiiine," Stacie huffed, finally seeming to get the message, "But you know, you two would be perfect together. You seem to be the only one around here who understand what the hell she's talking about! Plus, you'd make an adorable couple!"
"You do realize I am standing right here?" Aubrey snapped, "There is no need to speak of me as though I am not in attendance!"
"Stacie, I'd recommend you go. Like now," Beca smirked.
"Why?" Stacie asked, however, seeing the look on Aubrey's face she quickly caught on, "Riiiiiiiight. So yeah, it's been fun, but I uh, I think uh... I think Chloe's calling me, yeah. I'll just be going now..."
For a second, Aubrey was tempted to yell after Stacie and demand an apology for her rudeness, however, she quickly thought better of it. She had a mission to finish, and she refused to allow any more distractions. Waiting until Stacie was far enough away, Aubrey wheeled around and glared at the now smirking brunette.
"What the aca-hell do you think you are doing Mitchell?" Aubrey growled, her anger making her forget to censor her speech, "Are you TRYING to undermine me? Is that it? I do not appreciate your demeaning comments!"
"Wait, what the fuck are you talking about?" Beca asked, looking genuinely confused, "Dude, cool your jets. What do you mean? I don't think that I've insulted you today yet! Wait... Have I? Are you still going on about me calling you Bree this morning? Aubrey, I'm really sorry, I just forgot-"
"-Oh don't even try and pretend you don't know what I am talking about!" Aubrey snapped, "Just stop though. I do not have the patience to deal with you right now. Am I understood?"
"Yeah, sure. If you'd just tell me what I did!" Beca snapped back, eyes flashing dangerously.
"Oh, as if you don't know!" Aubrey snarled, "I do believe your exact words were and I quote verbatim 'cuz I think Chloe's the only one in this room smart enough to speak Aubrey!' So, do you not think that is a comment worth such a reaction now?"
"Uh... I didn't mean it as anything bad. Sorry if you took it that way though," Beca snapped, "I meant it only that you were really smart, and that you use a lot of big words most of us haven't even ever fucking heard of before. Sorry if calling you smart is a bad thing. In case you forgot, Chloe's got a fucking PhD Aubrey. So you know what? Fuck this shit. I'm fucking done."
Turning away, Beca stormed out of the practice room, banging the doors shut behind her. Staring blankly at the now shut doors, Aubrey could barely believe what the hell had just happened. Beca was... complimenting her? What? But she had also clearly stated to Stacie that she did not like Aubrey. Technically, she had said that she didn't like her any more then she liked Beca, but oh God, this was all confusing.
Aubrey DID actually kind of, well sort of, maybe in a rather unknown roundabout way like Beca, but Beca didn't know that. OK, so the mix of Mozart and Beethoven was not solely for her, surely? She must make those mixes for everyone? So then Beca still didn't like her, but then she had been trying to compliment her, but she'd taken it the wrong way, and oh God, Aubrey's thoughts were a mess right now. God dammit.
With a sigh, Aubrey turned around, surprised to see everyone staring at her. Quickly composing herself, Aubrey scowled at everyone, noting with some satisfaction that most of them at least had the decency to look slightly ashamed. Striding away from the door, Aubrey glared at everyone in the room. Clapping her hands loudly, Aubrey pushed the storm of emotions raging inside down, and focused on the here and now. She'd deal with the Beca situation later. Or eventually. Or never. Yeah. 'Never' sounded really good right now.
"Don't you all have something better to be doing?" Aubrey snapped, sending death glares to those who were still staring, "We are set to perform in only a little more then a month. We do not have time for such distractions! Now everyone, form up! We're going over the set. NOW!"
"But what about Beca-" Stacie started to say.
"-NOW!" Aubrey snarled, making it very clear that everyone should do as she said right now.
Ignoring the concerned look from Chloe, Aubrey strode over to her place, glaring at the girls as they shuffled into place. Fuck this shit. She was NOT going to let Beca Mitchell ruin anything. Fuck no. If Beca wanted to run off, then fine. Just fine.
It wasn't Aubrey's fault that Beca was being overly sensitive today. I mean, Beca never said anything or did anything to make Aubrey ever think any different. Right? Well, there was the mix, and she was calling Aubrey 'Aubrey' now, rather then Bree and the concern she showed for her in the past few days, but still. Beca was the one who goofed here. Not her.
"Chloe, do you think you could fill in for Beca seeing as she is currently not present?" Aubrey asked, keeping her voice level and doing her best to keep the anger out of it.
"You sure?" Chloe asked, chewing on the end of her pen, "because I don't think that's a-"
"-It's fine." Aubrey said quickly, "We just need someone to take her place, so could you please do so?"
For a moment, it looked as if Chloe wanted to argue further with Aubrey. However, she kept her expression neutral as she silently walked into what would have been Beca's space in the line up. Casting an eye towards Aubrey, Chloe wasn't surprised to see Aubrey's slightly spaced out expression. Catching Chloe looking at her, Aubrey composed herself, focused on her breathing and the task in hand, not wanting to give anything away she didn't have to. Beca Mitchell could wait. Now was the time to focus on a cappella and only on a cappella.
"Alright ladies, good practice," Aubrey said, dismissing everyone, "I think we will be prepared for our performance soon. Everyone, please keep practicing and keep up the hard work!"
Chatting amongst themselves, the girls disbanded, leaving the practice room, some alone, and others in groups. Sinking down on the nearest chair, Aubrey sighed. Today was proving to be a long fucking day, and it was only 2PM. She still had her private session with Chloe today, and then she still had to go back to her dorm room at some point and face Beca. Lovely. Just aca-freaking lovely.
The whole Beca thing irked her. Groaning, Aubrey wished the earth would just swallow her right now. She did NOT want to deal with Beca right now. Or her feelings for the annoying little hobbit. For fucks sake, Aubrey had never met anyone in her entire life who irritated her more then Beca Mitchell. So of course it just HAD to be Beca she fell for. Of course! And then, of course she would keep pushing said person away, making life that much more difficult.
Oh, and was it mentioned that Beca didn't even like her?
She sure knew how to pick them. For Christ's sake, this was just ridiculous. And not to mention absolutely pathetic. She really had to get a grip on this situation. She was a Posen for God's sake! She didn't take shit like this! She was supposed to be in control and in charge. Not floundering about, wallowing in self pity and uncertainty!
Standing up, Aubrey strode purposely towards the door. She was going to fix this mess! However, once she was at the doorway, Aubrey hesitated before sinking back down to the ground, tucking her knees into her chest, momentarily not caring about the germs.
Who was she kidding? There was no way in hell she could do this. There was just something about Beca that made her lose all sense of rationality and just want to be free. This was such a slippery slope for her. Beca was the epitome of spontaneity, rebellion and insubordination; three things Aubrey detested in life. She also made Aubrey feel out of control, something she really abhorred. Beca was bad to Aubrey. So very, very bad. And yet Aubrey couldn't help but to be drawn to the short brunette with too many tattoos and more metal in her ears then should even be possible.
Groaning, Aubrey was so caught up in her own thoughts that she didn't notice Chloe walk over until the ginger had plopped herself down next to Aubrey, leaning against the same wall and startling her out of her reverie.
"Chloe! Oh my God, you startled me!" Aubrey exclaimed her heart pounding.
"Sorry Aubrey," Chloe said apologetically, "Whatcha thinking about?"
"Nothing much," Aubrey sighed, "My apologies, I shall resume cleaning immediately. And I am aware the chairs need replacing in their original positions. I got distracted, but I will not allow such to happen again."
"Yo Aubrey, its cool," Chloe smiled, "Sit back down and let's talk, okay?"
"About what?" Aubrey asked, "There is nothing to talk about at the moment."
"Yeah there is," Chloe smiled, "Like, what could be so interesting that it managed to distract the one and only Aubrey Posen."
"Chloe, with all due respect, I would rather not," Aubrey said, standing, "If such is not too much to ask, I would request we save whatever discussion you are planning for our private session."
"Are you sure Aubrey?" Chloe asked, "Because if I had to bet, it's Beca that distracted you. Is someone feeling a little guilty?"
"What, me? No!" Aubrey snapped, however, after only a few seconds, Aubrey broke, "So perhaps I do wish I had handled the earlier situation with Ms. Mitchell a little better."
"Yeah?" Chloe smirked, "Is that it? Just a little guilt conscious is enough to have you sitting on the floor, moping?"
"Indeed it is," Aubrey standing, "However; I am done with such feelings and am moving on. I shall apologize to Ms. Mitchell promptly after I have finished here."
"Yeah?" Chloe asked.
"Yes," Aubrey said, already folding up a chair and taking it to its place, "My apologies for the delay Chloe."
"You know what, it's all good," Chloe smiled, taking the chair out of Aubrey's hands "Here, let me clean up, okay? You go make up with Beca."
"No, that is not necessary. It is my duty as a co-captain of this team to assist in the preparation and then in the clean up of this room," Aubrey protested, "I will not shirk my duties as co-captain due to some-"
"-Aubrey, its fine. I WANT you to go," Chloe smiled kindly, "I think it would be better if you went and made up with Beca now rather then stay here and fold chairs with me."
"Chloe, I cannot just go off-" Aubrey started.
"-Yeah, course you can!" Chloe smiled, reaching for another chair "Now go! I know you want to. Don't make me beg to get you to fix this? Please?"
"Very well Chloe," Aubrey sighed, "Though I'd really rather stay here and-"
"-GOOOOOOO!" Chloe laughed, "Get out of here and go talk to Beca!"
"Very well," Aubrey said, smiling softly, "Thank you Chloe."
"No worries Aubrey," Chloe smiled, "But what are you still doing here? Go go go! Like now please! No time like the present and all that shit!"
"Language Chloe-" Aubrey started.
"-You don't have time for this lecture, just go!" Chloe laughed, "Anyway, I know it, so just go!"
"Very well," Aubrey smiled, "I shall see you at our private session Chloe."
"Oh defs! And I'm gonna demand details too," Chloe smiled, "Now gooooooo! I keep telling you to go and yet you are still here! Why are you still here? Go go go, please!"
All but pushing Aubrey out of the room, Aubrey smiled as Chloe slammed the doors shut behind her and smirked when she heard the lock click into place. Shaking her head, Aubrey sighed. However, as she remembered the mission at hand, she quickly sobered. Shit. She had to go talk to Beca now, didn't she? God dammit. She really would rather be folding chairs with Chloe right now then had to do this. But Chloe was unfortunately right. She had to do this. Now was not the time for her petty pride or pointless feelings. She had wronged Beca, and though she had tried to convince herself otherwise, she knew that truly it was she who was in the wrong.
With a sigh, Aubrey set off down the hallway to her dorm, mentally going over what she had to say. She had to apologize first, then attempt to make amends, then try and have their relationship go back to normal. So, her apology first, then perhaps a requested explanation, and then a joke of some sort? In said order, perhaps such would be enough to rectify her mistake.
Aubrey slowed her pace even more and had to resist the urge to bang her head against the nearest wall as she turned the corner in the corridor. God dammit. Why did this have to be so difficult? She really did NOT want to have to face Beca right now. She had wrongly accused her of being mean, when really, Beca's intentions were literally the exact opposite. Forget this. Ugh. Looking up Aubrey sighed when she saw she was finally at her and Beca's room. Taking a deep breath, Aubrey tried to calm herself. Now or never, right? She could do this. Or rather, she had to do this, so why put this off any longer?
Turning the handle, Aubrey quietly walked into the room. To her surprise, she quickly noticed that a certain petite brunette was not in the room.
"Beca?" Aubrey asked, as though simply calling her name would make her appear.
Mentally kicking herself for her stupidity, Aubrey flopped down on her bed, surprised when she heard the crinkle of paper and felt something rough and flat underneath her head. Quickly sitting up, Aubrey was shocked to see a small, once neatly folded note and a small flash drive on her pillow. Picking up the flash drive, Aubrey stared at the small, piece of plastic and metal curiously before she placed it down beside her and picked up the note. Quickly reading the note, Aubrey felt her stomach drop and flip with each word. When she finished reading, tears were spilling down her face unchecked, but Aubrey couldn't care less.
Clutching the note and holding on to it tightly, as if the paper would disappear if she looked away, Aubrey laid back down and closed her eyes, wishing she forget this day had ever happened in the first place.
Aaaaaand Cut! So yay! I finally got a chapter out! Big thank you to waatp. Guys seriously, notice how much better this is then usual? Thank her everyone! She's fecking amazing! Unfortunately, she's also got me saying fecking 'ace' Brit words and shite, so yeah. Deal with it.

To everyone else: hey guys, if you're reading this and still with me, thank you all so much! I love waking up in the morning, checking my email and seeing that I still am getting new follows, faves, and reviews, even though I've been a shit for the past few weeks. But yeah, shit is really crazy at my house right now, and I'm just trying to keep it all together.
Hopefully will be able to update more soon, but if not, then guys, really sorry, but I be back one day. waatp will kick my ass if I don't. Thanks again to the one and only waatp though for beta'ing my shit.
King Alex out bitches!
