*Silver*

It was late at night and I was back in bed. I just laid there, just ya know, thinking.

Blitz and Topaz were still out. I knew that because the house was still plunged into a defining silence. And I was still alone...

Of course that wasn't very surprising...It had become normal at this point.

But know I thinking about Topaz, and what he said earlier. I had no idea why he corrected himself in mid-sentence, it was sort of weird. Hero's always watching the house? That seemed like bluff to me.

It almost seemed as if he were about to say Hero's always watching...you. Was he actually going to go with that? Was that the 'missing' word? Well saying that it was, what did he mean by that?

Maybe he's got invisibility. And saying he did, that means he could be five feet away from me and I wouldn't have noticed.

Wait...

If that was the case then...

Ok think, you've never seen him the whole time you've been here. Except for like 5 seconds outside. And if I was that important...

"He's been here the whole time..." I muttered is disbelief.

"God, finally!" A voice spoke with relief. "I thought you'd never figure it out!"

"Well I'm not 100% imbecile..." I grumbled. I heard a grunt of annoyance,

"Well I never said that," He scoffed.

"Are you seriously going to play devil's advocate? Or are we going to have a humanized conversation," I huffed.

"I'd rather play devil's advocate..." The voice trailed off. I growled, crossing my arms. "But if you insist."

I heard a quick snap. Within a few seconds a body began to form next to my bed.

The figure had dark brown hair, which was short and a little spikey. He wore a grey shirt and a long, black, unbuttoned coat. He had long grey pants, and he was thin like Blitz. His arms were crossed, and on each hand he wore slick black gloves. His boots were black as well, going up to the area just under his knees. A green bandana was tied loosely to his neck. And the green gem sat in his chest, that was in the middle of his small V-neck.

And his eyes were pure white. Just like I thought they would be.

He stared at me for a few seconds.

"It's rude to stare," I blurted.

"And I saved your life. Lets not continue this argument," He suggested.

"You did not," I spat.

"Did too." He argued.

"Hero, you didn't save me from any danger," I said with a plain look. He growled at the mention of his name.

"About ten hours ago Sapphire came to Beach City. In a disguised form she's been looking around for you. If she would've found you, the outcome would've been horrific," Hero explained.

"So you went ahead and just kidnapped me? Like honestly? You couldn't give me an explanation, you couldn't negotiate, you have problems..." I trailed off.

"Hey I do things my way. And if you have an issue with that you're going to have to deal with it," Hero scoffed.

"We're off to a great start..." I huffed in sarcasm.

"Couldn't be any better..."
