"It's here! Come on!" Gai practically dragged Maya towards the 'arcade room'. When the door automatically opened, Gai stopped on his tracks, awed.

"Oh...wow." All kinds of arcade games he grew up with are in the room: Street Fighter (*), Time Crisis (*), all Tekken series (*), Initial D (*), to name a few and a whole plethora of other games.

"Gai? What happened?" And Maya took a peek. All he can see is a lot of consoles.

"Oh, I think those are Earth-originally made consoles." Gai then turned around and his eyes are literally beaming.

"Oh! You knew?! Come on! I think I also saw a PS3 (*)!" And Maya once again found himself being dragged. When they stopped, he saw a brand-new console that has a PS3 name outside the box.

"This is freaking cool! I was hoping there was a PS4 (*) but, what the heck! I played one of this!" he then looked like a kid who is unwrapping his Christmas present as he unbox the console, intending to play it as soon as possible. While Maya looks on smiling (Gai's happiness is infectious), he noticed another two console boxes.

"Hey Gai..." Without looking, Gai answered.

"Yeah?" Maya pointed to the other two console boxes he found earlier.

"I saw a PS4 and an Xbox (*) right over there." This made Gai stop and looked where Maya was pointing at. And his jaw dropped.

"OH...WOW." and now, he has the look of torn between whether he continue unboxing the PS3 or try using a console he had not used before. After a few seconds, he continued unboxing.

"We'll try them later. This one first." He then started looking for an HDTV (*), which was conveniently mounted on the wall near the consoles. Gai then started attaching the cables and looked for games to play with.

"I think this is what you are looking for." Maya came from behind and was carrying a standing rack, about 5 feet tall and brimming with PS3 games. Gai's eyes are the same size as saucers.

"Oh man! All kinds of games you could think of! Sweet!" he then searched for that one game he wanted to play. When he found it, he grabbed it and immediately went back to the console and put it in. He took the two controllers and handed the other one to Maya. He then pointed at the red sofa and looked extremely excited at Maya.

"We should try this one for starters. NBA 2K14. Oh man, look at Lebron here. Freaking cool! Come on!" He then gleefully sat down on the comfortable sofa with an excited Maya in tow.

When the door opened, Kira saw a very serious Gai and an equally serious Maya playing a game.

[Kids...]

Kira huffed and went closer when Gai suddenly stood on the sofa and cried a what he can just describe as a whoop of victory. That stopped the blonde older brother in his tracks.

"WOOHOO! Oh yeah! I finally scored! This is the beginning, I tell you!" Gai is all grinning as he slump back on the soft sofa. When Kira finally composed himself, he heard Maya snickering.

"Hehe! That will be the last, Gai. I finally got the hang of this game. Go Rose! (Maya chose Chicago Bulls)" Kira just rolled his eyes.

[What the hell. Stupid blonde human infecting my little brother with his stupidness. Tsk!]

He then approached and saw that the two were engrossed once again on the game. Kira tried to strike a conversation with Maya.

"Hey Maya."

"Yeah."

"Have you told Gai here what they are supposed to be doing after this little introduction of their new area?" A shake of a head.

"Not yet." A vein appeared on Kira's head. He tried to remain calm.

"When will you tell him?" A shrug.

"Uhm, later. After this." Gai grunted a sound of defeat.

"Oh man! How could you lose a freaking free throw, Lebron (Gai chose Miami Heat)?! That is just too- GAH! The freaking ball was stolen! Quick!" and he then furiously smash the button as his player tries to take back the stolen ball but Maya prove to be a good player for a first timer. His player easily scored a basket. Maya smiled.

"This is the start, for me anyway." Gai looked furiously serious. And so is Maya. Kira tried again.

"Maya."

"Hmm."

"..." Kira pointedly looked at Maya, hoping the gaze will have an effect.

Zero. Another vein popped in on Kira's head.

"Maya." Kira's voice showed impatience on it.

"Hmm." Maya does not show any signs of moving or giving him any attention. Kira sighed.

"I'll just get the others instead." And he walked away.

"Hmm." Kira suddenly felt having a headache.

Once outside the door, he gave another deep sigh. He massage the bridge of his nose.

"That thing is DANGEROUS. It keeps a sane mind so much occupied, it's just...UGH!" Kira then huff his annoyance. He was then looking at the cooking room.

[Since Gai is the only one here, I bet the others are in the other rooms...and probably Rei is in there]

He then looked at the cooking area some more, as if thinking.

[Oh what the heck, just get this over and done with!]

And with an annoyed face, he walks over to the room that says 'cooking room' above the door. As soon as he opened it, he was assaulted with different kinds of spices. Another event where he had to stop on his tracks.

[Woah! What is this I am smelling?]

He did a little sniffing. A light bulb appeared on his head.

[Oh, I think this is what humans call 'spices'. To add flavour on their foods. Okay, makes sense. This is the cooking room after all. Best place to have all that spices and what have you. Now where is Rei...]

He is in a little bare room aside from the all kinds of apron, hairnets and chef's hats neatly stacked on the wall. He then took a few steps forward and pushed a swinging door wide open, only to see something that he thinks he is not suppose to see. His mind quickly tells him to hide so he did, on a nearby wall. His heart is racing as he think what he saw.

[What. Was. That?]

He then took a little peek and confirmed what he saw earlier and hid back again. He blinked twice.

[Rei and Commander Luca...]

He can hear murmurs. He suddenly felt out of place.

[I have this strongest feeling that I am not suppose to be here. I should leave...]

He was then about to approach the swinging door when he heard Rei sniff. As if he just cried. That made Kira stop. Curious, he took another peek. Only to scold himself and went back to hiding behind the wall.

[What the hell am I still doing here?! It is obvious I am not supposed to be here! So, why am I still staying here?!]

Kira is tearing his hair out, very much frustrated with his own mind's thoughts. He heard another sniff from the human. He suddenly looked tired.

[I'll stay. Fighting with my own is getting me nowhere. Don't know why am I fighting with myself to begin with...]

He gave a dejected sighed and took another peek, this time he wants to know what was causing the iris-colored haired human sniffing, as if he just cried.

Rei and Luca were locked on a very tight embrace. Rei's arms are on Luca's nape while Luca has his around the humans' slim waist. Rei sighed in content as he nestled on Luca's broad chest.

"I never thought that I will ever experience how to love OR find love. At this time and age. I'm just... *sniff* ...so happy." A certain blonde has his eyes the same size as saucers. Luca caressed Rei's hair tenderly.

"Me too. I have been living far longer than you think and I thought I was content living as I am right now. But when I met you, I have to admit, I was not so sure what I was feeling. I just..." he then gave a small laugh and hugged Rei tighter.

"When I met you, I just felt a whole lot of firsts." He then slowly released his hold on Rei and gently cupped the humans' beautiful face to his hands, like he is holding a very fragile diamond.

"I would like to let you know, when I heard that an explosion occurred where you and your brothers are staying, I felt so much restlessness that I don't know what to do. Then I realized I was panicking, a definite first for me. Because I don't know if you got hurt in that explosion or not."

Luca continued as he gently bumps his forehead with Rei's. He feels a whole lot of emotion coming from the human but the most powerful of them all is love. He smiled as he close his eyes and basks in this emotion that he knows is aimed at him, and only for him.

"When I got outside the protective gate, separating you and me, I know I just had to be in there and save you, if needed. So I went in as soon as I destroyed the gate and then, I knew I was being reckless, another first. But at that moment, I do not care. All I care is finding you safe. The thought of losing you is just..." Luca's handsome features looked troubled for awhile but a caress from Rei woke him up as he looked down on the one human who brought all these feelings out. He smiled once again.

"So, when I saw you, safe inside a protective bubble, I was so relieved." He caressed Rei's cheek who is blushing.

"The first time we talked, and when you said that my wings are beautiful. That they are more than just a show of status, something in me was awaken. And I knew, I found my other half. The other part who will complete me. Finally. I found you." Rei is teary eyed as he listens to Luca confess. Luca looked directly into Rei's eyes.

"Will you be my other half?"

Rei nods his head as he blushes and cried at the same time.

"Yes! Yes, I do!" and he hugged Luca even tighter. Luca looked relived as he returns the hug back, as gently as he could. After a few minutes of intimate hug, Luca let go of Rei. The smaller human looked confused and was about to ask why when he suddenly felt a pair of soft lips land on his own. It took him a few seconds to realize that Luca was kissing him. Before Rei could even reciprocate the gesture, Luca already let go. If blushing is possible, Luca would be as red as a tomato right now.

"I learned that a kiss in the lips is the highest form of showing affection to a human..." Rei is as red as a red rose in full bloom as he nodded slowly. He then grabbed Luca's head and kissed back with such fervour that the silver-white haired man was taken completely off guard.

"Ompf!" A few nano seconds later, he smiled as he kiss the human back with equal passion and pulled Rei's body even closer to his, feeling the heat on his body rising. After the lengthy and full of passion kiss, they did not realize the swinging door open and close as the happy couple look at each other, basking in the aura of loving one another.

Goh whistles his appreciation as he looks at the various training materials and devices found inside the training room. The ones he immediately recognized are the same ones he used back in Earth: treadmills, gym balls, dumbbells, leg press machine, leg extension machine, leg curl machine, bench press, pulldown machine to name a few. As he walk further in with a quiet Saki following behind, he then realized there are a lot more machines inside. Ones that he does not recognize at all.

"Cool. Are these here your type of training machines?" he approached one of the machines as Saki nod.

"Yes, that is a basic training machine we used. It trains our arms; I guess you call it biceps." Goh nodded as he tries to pick it up which alarmed Saki for some reason.

"I don't think you should try it out. It is not meant for humans to use." Goh looked at him with a puzzled look.

"What, I'm not allowed to touch this?" Saki shook his head, still has the worried look on his face.

"No, it is not that. It's just that the machine we use is not easy for a human to use..." he then saw Goh still trying out the machine.

"Ah, don't worry; I just wanted to try it out."

Half an hour has passed and finally Goh surrenders. He was not able to lift not even a nano centimetre off the 'basic' lifting machine that the Empyreans used. He frustratingly slumps on the ground, sweat all over his body. Saki looked worried that Goh might have injured himself in the process.

"I can't believe...I can't...lift it. And you...call this, BASIC?" Saki nodded as he handed Goh a towel. He gratefully accepted it and cleaned himself of sweat.

"Yes, it is our basic lifting machine. We may look alike in almost everything except our bodies are made differently than yours. We also learn quickly that is why everything is easy for us because we were made that way. Even if you introduce something new to us, just show us how it works and we will get it right away, even if there no one to show how it works, we will sooner or later figure it out." Goh let out another whistle.

"Wow. Superior indeed." That just made Goh all the more frustrated. Sensing his frustration, Saki went near an Earth-made training machine, a bench press.

"Why don't you start with this instead?" Goh looked and with a sigh of frustration, he stood up and reluctantly dragged himself towards the bench press. Saki acted as his spotter as he do some chest press. When he got the hang of things, he started asking Saki a question.

"So, where exactly are we now? In space I mean." He grunts as he asked Saki to put more weigh. Saki gently added the weigh and looked at Goh for any strain. When the human looked like he can hold his ground, Saki answered.

"That reminds me, thank you. We are nearing the area where this spacecraft will enter a lot of warp holes. Before we do that, you and your brothers will have to be placed on another cold sleep." Goh raised an eyebrow on that.

"Oh? Why is that? Another one please." Saki obediently followed and carefully watched Goh as he slowly lifts the heavy machine on his chest.

"It is because it will take about 50 human years before we reach our planet, Empyrea." He assisted Goh as he tries to put back the machine in place. Once done, Goh sat and used the fresh new towel he was given.

"Thanks. Wow, 50 years? I'm 22 (**) right now so I would be 72 then. Oh wow." He then looked at Saki who is standing patiently.

"So, when is this cold sleep happening?" He saw Saki looked at his sort of wrist watch and look back at him.

"A few more minutes from now." Goh nodded and stood up. He threw the used towel on a hamper nearby and approached an area within the training room devoid of any machines, intended for spars or friendly matches.

"Alright, that would be probably enough. Let's spar." Saki blinked once.

"Pardon?" He beckons Saki on the training mat as he get ready for his usual fighting stance.

"Come on, just a few minutes. I wanna see where I am at when compared to you, superior beings." Saki shook his head, looking serious.

"I don't want to hurt you. And we are not superior beings. We are just made differently, that is all." Goh nodded as he begins to bounce in place, like a boxer getting ready to fight.

"Okay. Then I want you to give me all you got. If you don't, I'm going to be angry with you." Saki looked alarmed but worried at the same time. But sensing Goh is not faking his threat, he got ready in his fighting stance as well.

"Goh, please. I don't-"he did not finish his sentence as he saw Goh lunge at him with a deadly straight right in the face.

Shin's eyes were practically twinkling as he gazes at the numerous shelves before him. He and Yuda are inside the 'library' for obvious reasons: Shin loves books and loves learning. But instead of seeing books, he saw what look like clipboards. When he opened one, it contains thousands of thousands of information that a normal book would take about 10 volumes to cover.

"Oh dear, this is fascinating." Yuda smiled, pleased that Shin liked the new additional room.

"I'm glad you liked it." Shin made a nod.

"Yes, I LOVE it. So much information. Oh wow!" the one Shin picked is the recent information about Earth. He looked sadden all of a sudden.

"It says here that Earth does not have much left...probably 60 years, it says here." Yuda approached Shin as he look over the information he is currently looking at.

"The information change as time passes by. Right now, the Quetzalcoatl (*) system predicts that Earth will be gone in the Milky Way Galaxy after 60 human years." Shin hums his understanding but the sad look did not leave his immaculate face that Yuda began to worry.

"What is wrong?" Shin looked to the ground.

"I am just ashamed on what we have done to our one and only liveable planet. 4.54 billion years of existence and it stops abruptly because of what we ungrateful humans did. All for the sake of acquiring more power and more wealth than they could ever dream of. What a petty reason for destroying the planet that nourished us over the years." Yuda pulled the clipboard out and placed it back to where it was nestled. Then he caressed Shin's cheek.

"Everything happens for a reason, be it good or bad. They do not happen just because. There is a purpose for everything." As Yuda soothes Shin, the bespectacled man suddenly gave a small smile and looked up at the red haired.

"You seem to always say that, like a favourite motto or something." Yuda returned the small smile and suddenly grabbed the eyeglasses Shin is wearing, catching him off guard.

"Ah! W-What are you doing?" his vision now is slightly poor but he can still see Yuda very clearly. That only means, he was too close. Shin blushed for some reason.

"W-What is it?" Yuda looks directly at Shin's eyes.

"It is much better to look at your eyes this way. I want to know what you are thinking right now. What you want." Shin's blush increase tenfold as he notice he can also see Yuda's clear blue eyes that he has never seen before. Reminding him once more that Yuda is not human.

"C-Can't you read minds? I-I don't have anything particular in mind right now. My glasses." When he tried to grab it, Yuda just lifted his hand above his head. Shin look frustrated.

"Please, I need my glasses." And he tries again, but with Yuda's height of 185 cm (**) (about 6.06 feet) versus his height of 177 cm (**) (about 5.8 feet) and Yuda's arm outstretch above his head, Shin will need a step ladder just to reach his glasses. Defeated, Shin tried to leave but Yuda stopped him.

"Shin, stop running away." Shin looked guiltily. He avoided Yuda's stare.

"I-I'm not running away." Yuda gently made Shin look at him.

"Yes you are. You are not as oblivious as you let others think you are." Shin was shocked with what Yuda said. Yuda continued, now that he got Shin's attention to him.

"You knew about the twins' affection for you. But you ignored it because you are afraid that you will be the reason for the twins' falling apart from each other. Also, you are not used to handling a person who shows more than friendship to you. You do not know to deal with a person who loves you. That was the case with the twins'." Shin is quiet with this revelation.

"That might be the case. I do not know, I do not know how to apply psychology on myself." And he tries again to run away from Yuda but the steady grip on him is not allowing him to even move an inch. This frustrates Shin. Yuda looked troubled.

"If you agree with me, then why are you running away from me?" Shin reached his boiling point and he exploded.

"Because I feel something for you which frightens me and at the same time, I feel like I am not supposed to feel this because of what I have done to Reiga and Keigo! I promised myself that I will not feel anything for somebody else as my way of atoning for my wrong doings. But every time I see you, my heart would not stop beating so fast and I feel self conscious in front of you, I want to look my best, I don't want to look ugly in front of you! This little things tells me I am falling for you which is completely wrong and the more I deny myself, the more this feeling just keeps on growing and growing, I do not know what to do anymore!" Shin huffs as he tries to take in air. He said everything without pausing and now, he is catching his breath. When Shin finally calmed down, he got engulfed in Yuda's hug.

"It is okay to let yourself love. I am sure that they want you to find your happiness. They will not be able to move on to the other side if you keep holding on to their memories. I learned that the dead human spirit will stay if the people they left behind would not let go of their memoirs. They need to find their resting place, their final resting place. And if you do not let go, they will never reach it. No matter how superstitious it may sound, there is no hurt in believing. It is a way to respect the dead." Shin began crying softly. Yuda hugged him tightly.

"I would like to let you know: I love you. Even before we met, I knew I have loved you. Whatever happened to you or what you did in the past does not bother me. All I know is I love you, whatever you are now or what you will be in the future, I will always love you and everything about you." He looked down as he saw Shin crying his heart out as he hears the confession. Yuda kisses the tears away as he hug Shin tightly.

"I will do anything to make you feel happy, to make you feel secure, to make you feel loved. We will be together forever." Shin nods as his tears continue to fall. Unknown to Yuda, Shin gave a small, sad smile.

"I cannot stay forever but I will stay with you as long as you will allow me. And as long as my life will allow me to live." Yuda was silent when he heard that. He then slowly released Shin, cupped his chin as he slowly descended his lips onto Shin's soft and pliant lips, giving him a very sweet kiss. A few minutes has passed before they broke apart, leaving a blushing madly Shin and a satisfied and happy Yuda.

"I love you." Yuda said with a warm and gentle smile.

"I love you too." Shin answered with his blush increasing tenfold. Yuda went down again to kiss Shin, this time more intimate than the first one.
