Here I am! I wanted to write this yesterday, but I just didn't know what to write, and then I remembered…what ever happened to those auditions?

Disclaimer: I own Naruto? Rae Rae thinks not.

"Aw, shit!" I exclaimed, throwing my pillow into the air. It landed on my head as Ana replied, "What's up?"

"Rae Rae, we forgot about our audition yesterday!" I whined, collapsing backwards on my bed, turning my head to be able to see her on the other couch.

"Jashin dammit," she growled, yelling, "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT, TOBI! I'M FEEDING YOU TO ZETSU!"

There was a deep laugh from the back room, and it sounded like it came from Kisame. "SHUT UP, KISAME! OR I'LL MAKE SUSHI OUT OF YOU!" I threatened. An audible gulp came from the same room, and I sighed. "Life's full of disappointments…"

"Well, at least you have Teen Wolf to look forward to," Ana replied, trying to cheer me up.

"And…and…you have Itachi-Nii!"

"Yeah, but I don't get paid for that," she sighed, inspecting a controller she found in my video game bin. She held it up. "Is this a GameCube controller?"

"Yup," I nodded. "Nor do I get paid for watch ing TV, although I should," I shrugged. "Easy money."

"Speaking of watching TV," Ana started. "Did you catch that new show, Resurrector or something?"

"Resurrection?" I replied. "Oh, yeah! It was great!

"Maybe I'll watch it…" she pursed her lips, placing the controller back into the bin.

"You should," I nodded vigorously. "It's on On Demand so you can watch it until it's removed."

Ana sighed, leaning into the back cushions of the couch, stretching her arms over her head. "Okay…"

"What time is it?" I asked no one in particular.

"That device on the shelf says it's nine-oh-three," Sasori replied, taking the spot next to me.

"Boo!" I cried, and punctuated each word by bouncing on the bed. "I wanna watch Teen Wolf now!"

"Well~" Ana began, sitting up with a sly grin on her face. "It is kind of the end of the day. We could play Highs 'N Lows."

"Great idea, Rae Rae!" I bounced, clapping. "HEY! OTHER AKATSUKI MEMBERS OF LESSER IMPORTANCE THAN THE ONES IN HERE ALREADY! GET YOUR LAZY ASSES IN HERE NOW!"

There was a slow murmur that accompanied the shuffling of feet of the Akatsuki members. "What is the meaning of this?" Pein asked, standing over me intimidatingly.

I grinned up at him happily. "We're playing a game!" I announced.

"Tobi likes games because Tobi is a good boy!" Tobi declared.

"Shut up!" Ana yelled, hitting him over the head. "Stupid mask-face loser!"

"Thank you, Rae Rae," I smiled. "Everyone get in a circle and sit."

After everyone was seated in a mediocre circle (it looked more like an oval, but who's complaining…well I am, but you know…), Ana stood up. "We're playing a game that's been in Kika's family since her great-grandmother on her father's side invented it," Ana explained, using her knowledgeable voice. "It's called Highs 'N Lows. Take it away, Kika."

"We go around the circle, stating the best part of your day and the worst part, hence the title 'Highs 'N Lows.' It makes sense, kind of self-explanatory, yes? So, after you say both your best and worst part of the day, the person who is to go next will give you advice on how to make tomorrow better. Not too hard."

"Does everyone understand?" Ana growled, cracking her knuckles threateningly. There was a series of nods from the others. "Good, Kika will go first."

"Oh, boy! Hello, all! My name is Kalika Marvil and it's been three months since I last ate a human being!" I stated excitedly.

"What the fuck?" Hidan recoiled. "That's fucking sick, bitch! Even Jashin-sama won't condone that shit!"

"Jashin-sama wouldn't condone your shit!" Ana and I shouted simultaneously.

"Anyway, I meant, the best part of my day was neither my father nor my first boyfriend had to die today, and the worst part of my day was…um…well…I don't know…um…having to wait for Teen Wolf!"

"My advice is…" Ana thought for a moment. "Patience is a virtue."

"Indeed it is, Rae Rae, but unfortunately it is one that I don't have," I replied, shaking my head sullenly. "Your turn, Rae Rae!"

"The best part of my day is when a new chapter of this fanfic I'm following got updated, and the worst part of my day was…" she growled. "Tobi…"

It was quiet for a moment, and I think Tobi shit his pants at the glare Ana was sending his way. Itachi cleared his throat. "Patience is a virtue, Rae Rae~" I sang, leaning into her space.

"I'll punch your face!" she threatened. "It's not even your turn either!"

"I like my face!" I cried, burying my face in my hands, and scooting behind Sasori.

Itachi cleared his throat once more, gaining everyone's attention. "My advice would be to ignore Tobi-"

Easier said than done," the two of us, and Deidara, muttered under our breaths.

"…possibly lock him in a closet if you want," Itachi shrugged.

"Good advice," Ana nodded. "Can't wait to test it out!"

"I don't really have a favorite part of the day," Itachi stated. "I think every day's good because I am alive. I guess every day is equally bad because of the decisions I've made in the past."

"I think you shouldn't let the things you've done in the past influence how you live your life now," Konan said. "You should look to a brighter future."

"That's good advice, thank you, Konan."

She smiled slightly as she continued with her turn, and so it went. "Tobi's favorite part of the day was when Tobi got candy! Oh! Oh! And when Tobi got to play with Deidara-sempai's clay! Oh! And that time that Mister Zetsu hugged me-"

"That didn't happen," Zetsu replied. I think both the black and white side said that, I'm not entirely sure though.

"Wait, what did you say about my clay, hmm?" Deidara demanded, getting a dark look on his face.

"Never mind that, you fools!" I announced. "Everyone shut up! My show's on!"

"Here we go," Ana sighed.

… … … … … …

"OhmahJashin, is she dying?!" I demanded, an excited smile stretching across my lips. "She is! She is!"

"Why are you so happy?" Ana demanded. "I though you liked her?"

"I did before she broke Scott's heart! And here she is saying she's loved him all along! Yeah, that does him hell a lot of good now that you're dead! And aren't you dating Isaac?!" I waved my hands through the air spastically. "Jeez, she's like Sakura in the first part of Naruto!"

"Hey, don't hate on Sakura!"

"Except while Sakura progressed into a strong female, this…this lady regresses! I hate her! Like, let me just break up with Sasori, put him through hell for two seasons, then date his right-hand man, and then on my death bed, I'll tell him that I actually love him. Is that alright with you, Sasori?"

"Well, I could just turn your corpse into a human puppet, but-"

"But it wouldn't be the same, would it?" I demanded.

"No, I guess not."

"No, you know not."

"Okay, it wouldn't be the same," he replied, staring at me with blank eyes.

"Thank you-"

Put me to sleep, Evil Angel~ Open your wings, Evil Ang-

Ana let out a giggle, picking up her phone. "Sorry, that's me," she said, answering it quickly. "Hello? Oh, hey, Daddy. Yeah, I'm at Kika's dad's house…Mmhmm…really? Okay," she sighed. "I'll let them know…okay…love you too…bye."

"What was that about?" I asked, eying her expectantly.

She pouted. "That was my dad," she said. "My cousin Tabitha, you remember her, is coming to visit for a few weeks so my parents are coming home from vacation early and they want me there when they get home."

"What? Boo," I pouted. "Tabitha hates me though, and she doesn't even like Naruto, how will she even with our bounty of hotness?" I asked, gesturing to the members of the Akatsuki.

"I just need to get home," she shrugged. "They'll get home in an hour or so."

"That sucks," I whined, standing up. "I'll drive you home?"

She seemed to mull it over. "Yeah, my mom doesn't like you so it'll probably be a while since I see you again," she said finally.

"Alright!" I cheered, tugging on my sweater and grabbing the keys. "Dad! I'm going out to buy ice cream!"

"Get me some Ben and Jerry's!" he called back. "Be careful!"

"Will do!" I turned around, pecking Sasori on the lips. "I'll be right back. Love you."

"You too," he nodded and we turned to watch Ana say goodbye to Itachi.

"You ready, Rae Rae?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," she sighed, following me out of the house. "The door's unlocked."

"Okay," she pulled open the door, hopping in. I did the same.

"Don't forget to buckle up," I reminded her.

"Yeah, with your crazy driving? I'm not taking any chances," she snorted, rolling down the window a little.

"You'll have to give me directions when we get back into town."

"Can do," she nodded. "Hey, look at those clouds…"

"What about them?" I asked, dividing my attention between the road and the sky.

"It looks like there's gonna be a storm tonight," she replied, sending a worried glance out the window.

"It'll be fine," I waved her worries off.

"You're gonna wanna take this right and go across the bridge," she told me, pointing the way.

"Thanks," I nodded as a tremor shook the car violently.

"Holy Fuck!" we shouted as a blinding beam of light flashed before us, making it impossible to see. I heard a car horn and tried to swerve out of the way. Ana shouted at me to turn! Turn! But turn were? I still couldn't see. Brakes squealed and glass shattered, and then everything just stopped.

Ooooh, cliffy! I bet you hate me right now! We're nearing the end! Can you believe it?!
