And I'm back! Hopefully, I'll be finishing one of my stories soon, for I want to start a new one. Yup. So, here we go. Enjoy.
~I do NOT own Grojband.~

"C-Corey?" Laney asked in awe. Anti-Corey took his moment, and sent a ball of energy to Laney and exploded her out of the sky. She hit the floor with a load thud, and immediately started to slip in and out of consciousness.
"Laney!" Corey yelled hoarsely. Anti-Corey turned his attention to our hero.
"How are you still alive!?" He asked him, his voice dripping with venom. Corey smirked at him.
"I'm just awesome." He answered. Anti-Corey pinched the bridge of his nose.
"No, I meant how did you dodge my demons attacks? I saw you bleeding on the ground!"
"Oh. Well, I asked Kin to test a new invention out on your cameras."
"Which, does what?" Anti-Corey asked. Corey smiled at him.
"He can program a filter that changes what you see." Corey stated. AC just looked confused. Corey sighed and crossed his arms.
"I don't know how it works man. I just know that one of the demons punched me in the stomach, which you saw as it stabbing me, and another one jumped me. I kneeled, dodging the attack, while Kon knock him out of the way. What you saw was an illusion. Now, enough chatting," Corey lit his hand in a blue light. "Let's get this fight over with." He shot his light towards AC, who got knocked back.
"Impossible!" He yelled. Then stuck out his hand which was engulfed in red flames. "You'll pay!" He shot it towards Corey, who barley dodged it. He smiled. Corey took out his pick and flicked at AC, right in the middle of his forehead. Anti-Corey seemed to growl as he rubbed the spot where the pick hit. Corey crossed his arms.
"Now, stop taking over the city and give me back Lanes." AC glared at him and glanced at Laney. She had started to get up, groaning in pain. He shot a blast of magic over to where she lay, creating a cage out of black fire. Laney's eyes widened.
"Since when can you do that?" She asked. AC snickered, then turned his attention back to Corey who was staring worriedly at Laney. Anti-Corey jumped up into the air, using his red magic to keep him floating in the air.
"Say goodbye!" He yelled, aiming his hands at Corey. Right as he blasted, Corey used his blue magic to fly into the air dodging the attack. Corey shot back, AC dodging it. Both of them were glaring daggers at each other. They had both realized they were both equally matched. Though, they both thought they had a special weapon they were going to use. Anti-Corey smiled, seizing his chance. He aimed both of his hands (in an 'x' formation) at Corey, a red and black fireball forming in the center of his hands. He started to laugh maniacally. He shot a thick stream of red and black fire at Corey, showering him in it.
"No!" Laney screeched, hands clutching the bars. The fire extinguished, revealing Corey unmoving on the floor. AC continued his laughter, but paused when he heard a bang. He whipped around to see the angel punch and kick the bars with a huge amount of strength. His face paled, as he could see the cracked beginning to form on the bars.
"I. Hate. Being. The. Damsel. In. Distress!" She said while hitting the bars on every word. With one more yell, she had completely destroyed the cage. Smoke was filling the room due to the explosion. AC coughed and tried to find where the angel had disappeared to. Apparently, when Laney set off the explosion, she had used her wings to fly off, using smoke as her cover. AC looked around him quickly. That it, until he turned around and got punched square in the face. There floated his angel, her white dress ripped and covered in soot. Her ring around her middle fingered glowed, showing that she had used it's magic to enhance her punch. She seemed to radiate power. Her eyes glowed gold and a similar aura covered her body.
Meanwhile, AC flew across the room, his back smacking against the wall. His eyes bugged out of his head when he lost some altitude. To put it straight, he was now terrified. The angel floated slowly towards him. He just floated there, shaking in his boots. She grabbed the color of his shirt and pulled him close.
"You will never come back to this world. No one hurts my friends. You should've thought twice before you messed with me!" She growled to him. Then, she put extra poison in her words. "When I'm done with you, you will be making friends in hell!" She flung him to the floor. He landed, created a small crater in the marble floor. He laid on his back groaning. He got back up, determined to subdue the angel again, and taking over the universe. Anti-Corey launched himself back into the air, fist out. He managed to land a blow on the angel. Who also smacked into one of the walls. AC was about to strike again when they both heard shifting of rocks.
"Wait for me, fella!" Corey yelled, while flying towards them at jet speed. He then punched AC in the cheek. He turned to Laney who gave him a small smile. Corey smiled back in a carefree smile. Until the demon came back and smacked it off his face, sending him a few feet below them.
"Why can't you stay dead?" Anti-Corey asked/yelled. Corey smirked up at him.
"Cause' I'm the good guy, duh." He answered simply. Laney giggled. AC turned to her and shot fire at her. Of course, she dodged it. Now the battle had turned into a light show. Energies of gold, red, and blue flew across the sky, sometimes hitting or missing their targets. Kin and Kon stood in the door way, several passed-out demons behind them, staring at the light show. Kon was munching on some popcorn.
"Can I have some?" Kin asked. Kon nodded and handed some over, continuing watching the fight. Meanwhile, Laney had gotten some good hits on Anti-Corey, Corey doing the same thing. Though, it seems that Anti-Corey has gotten a lot of good hits on Corey, who was ready to fall out of the sky. AC laughed evilly as he gave another powerful blast in Corey's direction, blasting him a few feet below the fight. Corey got an idea. He looked up at him.
"Hey! Demon face!"]
"That's a complement where I'm from." AC said, now fighting Laney. Crap. Corey thought.
"It must be pretty lonely." He said. AC paused. He hit Laney with a hard blow and turn towards him.
"What?" Corey smiled to himself.
"I said it must be pretty lonely, ruling by yourself." AC scoffed at him.
"Exactly, that's why I am marrying Laney."
"No your not, you ass!" Laney yelled, flying towards him with her fist out. AC, still focusing on Corey, grabbed her hand a pushed her back to the wall.
"Don't you have any humanity?" Corey asked, continuing his speech. "What's the point of taken over when you just killed and hurt a lot of people? What kind of leader does that? I mean, why can't we all be nice to each other," Corey was cut off by Laney.
"Core, this is not the time for one of your monologues that don't make sense!" She yelled, flying towards AC again. He blocked her...again.
"A leader is someone who treats others with respect and has a sense of what's wrong and right. And with that sense, he can then lead his people to happiness. What you have done, my friend, hasn't been any of that. And that's not cool." Corey said, crossing his arms. Anti-Corey floated and stared at him with a blank face.
"I...have no idea what you just said." He said. Corey smirked.
"Well, the gist of it is, you're about to lose." AC looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"What?" He asked. Corey just smiled and pointed behind AC. Anti-Corey turned around and saw the angel surrounded by a golden angel, reeling back her bass like a baseball bat. With one final grunt, she smacked him in the face with her bass. Anti-Corey immediately plummeted to the ground, creating another large crater.
"W-what? N-No!" He groaned. Corey stood over him. His fist engulfed in blue flames, aimed directly at AC's forehead.
"Goodbye, and never come back." He said, blasting blue light at AC. He screamed as his body began fading into a device Kin held.
"No! I'll be back garbagband!" He yelled.

Laney floated to the ground, where the boys stood. Corey scratched the back of his neck.
"So...an angel, huh?" Corey asked sheepishly. Laney looked down, a light blush dusting her cheeks.
"Yup." She answered. Kin rolled his eyes and looked at his brother. Kon nodded and nudged Corey closer to Laney with his elbow.
"U-um. Great job, bro!" Corey said. Laney looked like she was going to punch him. The boys covered their eyes, preparing for the shouts of pain from Corey. But they took their hands off their eyes when they heard nothing. Laney was staring at the floor, Corey was looking worriedly at her.
"Laney?" He asked. She glared at him. Laney grabbed the collar of Corey's shirt, and pulled him into a kiss. Corey's eyes widened. He slowly closed his eyes as he began to kiss her back.
The twin brothers fist bumped as they watched their friends silently confess their love towards one another.

A new dawn rose over the destroyed town of Peaceville. Survivors crawled out from safe zones. The heroes emerged from the castle and were greeted by the citizens, cheering for their victory. With their leader missing, the demons had completely vanished. The band members looked over the city and the sun creeping into the sky. The blue-haired teen planted a small kiss on the petite red head's cheek. They all grabbed hands and headed home.

END SIMULATION
'W-what?' Laney thought to herself. She sat up slowly, groaning as she felt her joints popping. She reached for her head and found she was wearing a tin bucket. She pulled it off, revealing the garage. There was a machine with many screens and four beds circling it. He band mates where snoring loudly. Laney slowly got up and went to the machine. The many screens showed locations around peaceville: The garage, the park, the castle, the- 'Wait, What?' The screen in the middle read "END SIMULATION" in green letters. Suddenly, she heard movement behind her. Kin had taken off his helmet and was getting out of the bed.
"Oh Laney. Glad to see you're awake." He said simply as he pressed some buttons on the machine.
"W-what? Kin, what's going on?" Laney asked. Kin sighed.
"I decided to put us through a situation where an evil guy comes and takes over the world. Also, I just wanted you guys to hurry up and get together." Kin said. Laney immediately blushed.
"S-so, it was a dream?" She asked. Kin shook his head.
"No. Think of it as 'virtual reality.' It was like a video game." He said as he logged their remaining friends off. Laney only stood in shock, staring at the screens. Kin headed into the kitchen, probably getting snacks, but turned around to face her.
"Oh, Laney, by the way, your secret's safe with me." He winked and went into the kitchen. She stared at him, then looked down at her open hand. There were golden flames dancing around her palm. She smiled.
"Thanks for coming out, everyone." She whispered to herself.
