Author's Note: I didn't die. I just was having trouble with this chapter. I would like to thank Aurora Marie Williams who helped me, and gave me this idea. Enjoy!

It was another cold and blustery day, which left Jinx and Wally bored in the living room. Wally's boredom was starting to annoy Jinx to the point that she was going to hex him into oblivion. His legs were bouncing up and down at incredible speeds that made them barely visible. He was starting to create a breeze which was starting to chill Jinx down to her core.

"Can you stop that?" Jinx grumbled, "You're making it cold in here, and that's with the heater running."

"Sorry," Wally apologized quietly with a small smile, "I'm bored and don't know what to do."

"I don't care what you do as long as you don't freeze me to death," Jinx replied with a shiver.

Wally perked up suddenly, "I can make my special hot chocolate to warm you up," he offered as he waggled his eyebrows, "And maybe we can talk or something. I know how much you love spending quality time with me, Jinxie."

"Right," Jinx smirked, "That's exactly what I love to do."

Jinx rolled her eyes then decided that some hot chocolate wouldn't be that bad, even if she had to suffer through polite conversation with the annoying speedster. She waited at the table for this "special" hot chocolate. She watched him take out some marshmallows, milk, cocoa powder, and whipped cream.

The speedster quickly made the hot chocolate and placed it in front of Jinx. He sat at the table in front of her with a mug of his own and started to drink the warm liquid. Jinx picked up her cup, and was a little surprised that it was just the right temperature. She sipped cautiously, and then satisfied she wouldn't burn her tongue, downed the drink.

She immediately regretted not savoring the sweet, rich liquid as it ran down her throat. It was so creamy and tasted of chocolate and vanilla at the same time. She closed her eyes and made a noise in her throat that sounded like a purr of pleasure.

Snickering brought her out of her reverie too soon. She slowly opened her eyes to find Wally trying to hold back his laughter. Jinx scowled at his obnoxious behavior.

"What's so funny?" Jinx asked as she narrowed her eyes.

"Nothing," Wally replied with a small smile, still choking on his laughter.

Before Jinx could press the speedster for an answer, an alarm went off. Jinx sighed as she recognized the familiar sound as their crime alert signal. Jinx grumbled as she stomped to the computer where Wally was already waiting for her. It was just a couple of crooks robbing a bank. Typical. When would they ever learn?

Jinx once again groaned in protest as Wally motioned for her to jump on his back. She knew that it made more sense for them to use Wally's speed which was free and much quicker, but that didn't mean that she had to enjoy the ride. She unwillingly hopped onto his back and noticed the quickening pace of her heart that had nothing to do with the high speed running they were about to do. She did her best to ignore the pounding in her chest and the butterflies in her stomach as she held her breath while Wally transported them to the scene of the crime.

They entered the bank through the shattered front windows, and quickly located the thieves near the back beside an open vault. One guy was stuffing money into a bag while the other held a gun to the bank teller's head. Wally sat Jinx down and snuck up behind the guy with the gun. He snatched the gun away so fast the thief didn't even realize he wasn't holding it anymore.

Not until the cold circle of the barrel was pressed up against the crook's own head.

"Drop the money," Wally addressed the other thief lazily as he faked a yawn.

Jinx couldn't blame him for his seemingly bored tone. Taking down petty robbers was getting old. After all, they were hardly a challenge. Sometimes she wished they would up their game.

The startled man immediately dropped the bag which had suddenly appeared in Wally's hand. Jinx couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to be Wally. What would it be like to be as fast as he was? Did time run slow for him?

She was snapped out of her thoughts when Wally asked her to cuff the criminals. She walked over to the man Wally was holding a gun to. Jinx proceeded to form her pink energy around the thief's hands as a makeshift cuff.

"You'd think in a town full of superheroes the petty criminals would lay low. Are you really just that stupid?" Jinx asked the man. Normally she didn't waste her time with them, but today she wasn't in a good mood, so why waste the opportunity to harass them?

Turning to face Jinx, the man opened his mouth to talk, but when he saw her, he busted out laughing. She growled at him and conjured a hex in her hand which shut him up. As she cuffed the other crook, she became self-conscious and wondered what was so funny to everyone. She hadn't spilled anything on her dress from what she had inspected. Her hair was the same as it usually was which left Jinx puzzled as she tried to think of what was wrong.

Wally and Jinx took the criminals outside and handed them over to the police who were waiting for their arrival. The police thanked the heroes, but some of the policemen were covering their mouths in a conspicuous effort to hide their laughing.

As the thieves were being shoved into the back of a police car, one of the policemen turned to Jinx and chuckled, "Have you looked in the mirror lately?" He then got in the driver's seat without another word.

"What did he mean by that?" Jinx asked the redhead next to her as the police drove off, "Better yet, why has everyone been laughing at me today?"

"It looks like you have a chocolate mustache, Slowpoke," Kid Flash replied simply.

Jinx lifted a hand to her upper lip and examined the chocolate residue on her finger. "You knew it was there the whole time, didn't you?" Jinx growled.

"Yeah, but it was too funny to point out right away," he answered.

"Well, I think this is funny," Jinx grinned evilly as she fired hexes at the speedster who dodged them easily.

"You still don't have it all off," Wally chuckled. He used a gloved finger to wipe away the rest of the hot chocolate on her lip.

Again the butterflies in her stomach awoke and started to flutter. He was standing close enough to her for her to see the gold flecks in his blue eyes. Before she knew what she was happening, warm lips pressed against hers. She could taste the hot chocolate on Wally's lips.

Jinx was too shocked by the sudden and unexpected kiss to even kiss him back. She decided that maybe she would have a little fun with it. She fired a hex at a fire hydrant causing freezing water to spray all over Wally. Jinx had stepped back just in time to not be doused by the chilly water.

A soaked Wally pouted, but then lit up again, not with excitement, but with fear, as Jinx laughed and the speedster ran away from her barrage of hexes. It would only be fair if she got back at the boy. The hot chocolate was delicious, but revenge was a dish best served cold.
