Enjoy!

Jane rushed into the school building just as the lunch bell rang, but she was a bit too late. The students were coming out of the cafeteria. Jane swore under her breath and she wanted to inflict intense pain on someone. She saw Beth wrapped under Edwards arm as they left the cafeteria together. Jane's fist clenched with frustration as Edward looked over his shoulder, throwing a smirk her way. She snapped and unleashed a fraction of her power on him and watched in sick satisfaction as Edward cried out in pain and hit the floor seemingly having a seizure in the middle of the highway.

The students around him didn't know what to do but watch in astonishment and Jane turned it up a notch. Edward curled into a ball, trying to hold in his screams but Jane wanted to hear him and she unleashed her full power on him, smiling when his agony reached her ears. Beth was standing off to the side looking down at Edward with a hand covering her mouth unsure what to do, her eyes shiny and bright. Edwards 'siblings' pushed through the crowd and tried to help their brother, shielding him from prying eyes as much as possible.

Jane finally let up, she leaned back against the door and crossed her arms. Edward had finally stopped squirming and screaming and was now a mess in Emmett's strong grip, trying to pull himself back together. Rosalie's head snapped up and her furious topaz eyes met Jane's amused and angry dark red ones. Rosalie stood and stormed over to where Jane was standing, the students parting way like the red sea. Rosalie was a few inches from Jane and leaned down, breathing deeply.

"If you ever fuck with my family again, I will knock your head off your shoulders Jane. I don't care who you are! Do you understand me?"

Jane purposely ignored Rosalie until the other blonde vampire was about to wring her neck, then Jane blinked as if she was surprised to see Rosalie. "Oh I'm sorry! Did you say something?"

"Rosalie!", Alice called out, "Let's go, Carlisle wants us to take Edward home."

everyone that wasn't human knew Alice was being loud just for show, knowing as soon as they leave... Edwards 'seizure' was going to be the topic until the end of the year. Rosalie gave Jane one last glare and walked away. When she did Jessica was next to Jane, "What was that all about?"

Jane shrugged, "Who knows, the Cullens are strange."

Jessica sighed, "I can't believe I was ever into that guy...I feel bad for Beth."

Jane scoffed, pushing off the door as the teachers started breaking up the crowd. "You and me both. So I miss anything good during lunch?"

Jessica's eyes lit up and Jane regretted asking, "Oh you missed a lot! Beth and Edward were giving each the cold shoulder."

Jane raised a brow, weaving through the gossiping students easily. "Really? Interesting."

Jessica gave Jane a look, "You sound happy about that?"

"Happy about what?"

Beth asked popping up in front of Jane and Jessica with a smile, eyes drawn to Jane. Jessica looked between the two trying to figure out what just happened, but she didn't dwell on it too long because the warning bell sounded. She excused herself and rushed off to class, taking one last glance at Jane and Beth.

Beth looked at Jane expectantly, "Happy about what Jane?"

Jane looked around the nearly empty halls, slightly panicked. She felt a bit nervous around Beth for some reason, and her brain didn't seem to want to function anymore. "Oh... I'm not happy. I mean I am but I'm not...happy at the moment. But I'm not sad either, I'm more content.", Jane quickly shut her mouth when she saw Beth's smile turn into a small grin and sighed "Uh, why aren't you with your boyfriend?"

Beth's grin was gone fast as it came and Jane once again regretted asking a question, this was probably the first time she's ever talked to her mate one on one and she had to bring up the douche. "Its fine." an obvious lie, but Jane didn't call her on it. "My dad is going to the city for the next few days to help a few missing person investigation cases...and Edward doesn't want me home alone and...well, don't tell anyone but I don't feel comfortable there."

Jane raised a brow, pretending to be concerned and sympathetic, but really she was doing the happy dance inside and thinking of ways to jump at the opportunity. "What does your dad think?"

"He thinks it's a good idea for me to be at their house while he's gone...unless I can get someone to stay with me the next few days."

"Is that an invitation?", Jane asked with a smirk before she could stop herself.

Beth blushed and looked down at her feet, "maybe?"

"But you hardly know me.", Jane couldn't help but point out, hoping that Beth wasn't the type to just invite perfect strangers into her home...she really hoped she wasn't that dumb.

"Well I was thinking of inviting Angela Weber as well, she's kinda like my best friend... I figured you'd like to come too... you're funny Jane and I can see us being friends."

"I don't really do sleepovers..."

"Oh come on, it's just for a few days."

"I still don't understand why you're asking me of all people?"

Beth's blush grew darker, and warmer and Jane's mouth watered slightly. "It's okay if you don't want to come, I was-"

"No no no, count me in...just when and where?", Jane couldn't believe she agreed to a sleepover, she could just imagine what Isabella and Felix would say...she was sure they'd make fun of her and never let her live it down.

Beth smiled and held out her hand, "Give me your phone, I'll put my number in."

Jane did as she was asked, and once her phone was in the girls hand she realized that she was doing a lot of uncharacteristic things around and for this girl already. Losing track of her thoughts, agreeing to things, handing things over...skipping class for her. Jane smiled and watched Beth plug in her cell phone number.

Irina's mind was brought out of it's thick fog slowly, she sighed softly and opened her eyes. She wasn't disoriented but she was confused as to what disturbed her. A loud and constant beeping called for her attention from the floor, she frowned and moved to see what it was but the arm around her waist tightened and she felt Isabella's cool breath on the back of her neck.

She was still asleep, but they had somehow changed positions and she was the big spoon and Irina was the little spoon. Irina smiled softly, and leaned forward and snatched the pants from the floor and checked it's pockets...she pulled out Isabella's phone and saw that it was just her alarm reminding her to be at the high school softball field in the next hour. Irina shut off the alarm and put the phone on the desk behind the bed and dropped the pants back on the floor.

She rolled over until she was face to face with Isabella, "Isabella...Belle...Bella...babe, wake up.", she got nothing but she did notice Bella's breathing pattern change, "Get up, you have to be doing softball soon and you don't have any gear!"

Isabella sighed and rolled away from Irina, facing the wall. Irina sighed and got up, she was starting to figure out that her dragon was one of the difficult ones. She was really hoping she wasn't, Irina turned on the room light and then ripped the sheets off the bed. Isabella growled into the pillow and stretched her body as she rolled onto her back and popping all of her stiff joints. Irina's eyes took in every bruise and previously open and fading lacerations on her perfect body, and lingering on certain places a few seconds too long.

"Fine, fine I'm up.", Isabella yawned, sitting up trying to open her eyes. "I'm hungry..."

"We can grab something to eat in town when we go get your gear."

"Did I ever mention how much I hate Felix right now?"

Irina smiled and started putting on her clothes, "you and me both."

when they were decent to step out of the room, they were surprised to see the hallway bustling with students that weren't there before. They didn't get far before their neighbor on the left opened her door, revealing to be none other than the softball Captain herself, Nicole. She smiled when she saw Isabella and Irina instinctively took her mates hand.

"Hey Italy! I didn't know you lived in Becker Hall. Are you ready for your first tryout practice?"

Isabella shrugged, stifling a yawn. "Yeah sure I guess so. Oh uh, Nicole this is my, um, girlfriend... Irina, Irina this is Nicole the softball Captain."

Nicole raised a brow, but smiled at Irina tightly. "Hi, nice to meet you."

Irina nodded, not bothering to smile back. "Yep."

The silence was a bit awkward, Nicole pursed her lips and nodded, "so uh which room are you in Italy?"

Isabella jumped at the opportunity to break the horrible silence, "Oh we live right there.", she pointed to the door just behind them.

Nicole's eyes widened and she started laughing, "Holy shit...that was you two? You woke the whole goddamn floor earlier!"

If either of them could, they would both be blushing but Irina cleared her throat and started to move around Nicole, pulling Isabella behind her. "Sorry about that...we have some errands to run, it was nice meeting you."

"Okay, um, don't be late Italy or your cute ass is mine!"

"I don't like her."

Isabella sighed as Irina drove them through town and to the academy store near the highway, "She didn't do anything?"

Irina looked at Isabella out of the corner of her eye, "she called your ass cute."

Isabella couldn't help but laugh a little bit, and turned to Irina who was determined to focus on the road as if she really needed to. Bella reached over and took one of her hands off the wheel and held it. "You're not jealous are you?"

"No, but I don't want her looking at what's mine.", Irina growled

"And I don't want anyone touching what is mine." Isabella shot back and squeezed Irina's hand before letting it go and looking out the window once more.

School had finally let out and Jane was having a panic attack. She couldn't believe she agreed to a sleep over of all things, not a movie night or a shopping trip...but a full blown sleepover that is to last several days. Jane had already came up with excuses to get out of it but when she saw Beth standing by her Audi ( that she pretty much stole from Heidi ), those excuses flew out the window. Next to Beth was another brunette with glasses, Angela. Jane didn't really have a problem with the girl, she was quiet and funny.

"Uh, hey? Whats going on?", Jane approached them, confused as to why they were standing by her car.

Beth blushed and shrugged, "Edward was my ride home...but since he and his family are gone, I was wondering if you didn't mind...?"

Jane found herself smiling, and nodded. "Nope I don't mind at all, hi Angela."

Angela smiled, looking between the two girls subtly. "Hi Jane, nice to see you again."

Jane nodded albeit awkwardly then unlocked her car, "Right, lets go.", Jane slid into the drivers side and tried to calm her nerves. She had unintentionally opened this window for herself and she was not going to let anything, not even her nervousness, ruin it.
