**I really went into the house description. I don't even know. The next one should be more exciting…maybe. I hope. I'm rewatching season one…again, and really working on making this story as exciting as I can. When I first started posting this, having eight or nine parts already done felt like a lot…not so much anymore.
I ended up making an appointment for a new tattoo instead of laptop shopping, and of course my laptop picks this moment to get worse and worse. I'm posting this while I can still get silly little Xander to turn on. Yeah, I named my laptop. I name everything.

I love you guys. **
***Lets pretend I never added that extra 'e' in Bon Temps…because it was recently pointed out to me I've been spelling it wrong the entire time. Point out my spelling mistakes!***
"So…this is it, huh?"
Lux took in the house she'd be calling home for the next year. If by some miracle she wasn't already in prison for killing Tessa, then Lux swore to herself she'd be out of the house the second the lease was up.
The lease I haven't even signed yet. Frankie is so lucky I love her. I can't believe I agreed to this.
"It's cute, right?" Frankie asked.
"It's definitely something, Frankie."
The house was an off white, with paint chipping in a few spots. It could definitely use a little sprucing up. The porch was a decent size, complete with a cute set of patio furniture.
"There's a porch swing? Seriously? This is ridiculous." Lux had secretly always wanted one of those, but she would never admit it out loud.
"Wait till you see the inside. The landlord redid everything, he hasn't gotten to the outside yet, so it's a little worse for wear at the moment, but I really think you'll like it."
Frankie took out her keys, and bounded up the steps like a ginger puppy,
"Ok ladies, here we goooo!"
She unlocked the front door, and let it swing open. The doorknob made a quiet 'bang' against the wall.
It was so much better than the dinky apartment in Baton Rogue, but Lux would never ever tell Frankie that. 'I told you so, I told you sooooo.' 'You never trust me.' 'Have I ever steered you wrong?'
The front door opened up into a small living room with white walls and dark wood floors. It was cute; as cute as a room could be, anyway. To the right was the kitchen, straight ahead a small hallway, and a set of stairs to the right of the hallway.
She made her way through the living room and into the kitchen, while Tessa and Frankie headed for the hall.
It had all the basics, a small refrigerator, a stove in need of an update, a fair amount of cupboard storage and decent counter space. The floor was a black and white checkered pattern, and she had the urge to try and play a game of chess. Lux chuckled at the wall trim along the top of the counter; cows in farmer outfits. It was incredibly cheesy, but charming.
"There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and we even have a decent yard in the back. You've got to admit it's better than what we looked at."
"It's alright. The apartment didn't have Tessa, though. That was a big selling point for me. Let's go check out the bedrooms."
Lux followed Frankie down the short hallway; at the end was a small linen closet, on the right a bathroom, and the left a bedroom.
"Tessa said she'd take this one, that way she gets her own bathroom." Frankie said with an eye roll. "We spent the last four years sharing a bathroom half the size of the one upstairs, so I figured you wouldn't care."
"Anything that keeps her out of my sight."
The bedrooms upstairs were exactly like the rest of the house; white walls with dark wood floors.
"Take your pick, I'll take whichever room you don't want."
She settled on the room across from the bathroom, and next to the small storage room. It had the biggest closet, and Lux owns more crap than one person needs to.
"So…this is home, huh?"
"It sure is. Let's unpack the cars…then maybe work on getting some furniture."
