I do not own many of the Characters in this story though some are mine all the KNOWN characters belong to those who originally created them. Thxs.
Please also NOTE I write Alternate Universe (AU) stories whether they are crossover or not. The AU applies to ALL characters. Thus this will make them OOC to the original Story and I like it that way. So if you plan to comment that Akane is not like that sorry I write her like I like to. This goes for all the characters it makes the story more fun for me to write that way. Got to have some antagonist and some friends :D)
Chapter twenty One
The companions and Ranma were busy over the next couple of weeks. They were waiting for Nodoka to contact them to open the portal and there were another fifteen altered Draconians as a part of their fighting force. With the help of her friends, Ranma was able to completely release the metallic dragons from the Dark Queen's corruption. Though the first ten dragons were correct though they were quite large, they were a third of the size of their sires. They did not mind they were just happy to be free of the evil that held them.
The group worked with the new dragons they learned to fly on their backs and hoped the larger metallic dragons would join them. The dragons took turns allowing the rebels to practice riding them. This way if and when the larger dragons came there would not be any down time in their learning. While the rebels became proficient at riding the companions trained with Ranma on more of the techniques. Kyado happily learned everything he could especially riding the smaller metallic dragons.
It became evident that a newly transformed copper had decided to attach itself to Kyado. Ranma smiled happily as the dragon would help protect her blind cousin though he proved he could take care of himself she felt a lot better he had a very powerful friend. He was in his element, as he now had to try and teach the dragon who liked to be called Shimmer. He had to learn to use some of the Shadow ninja techniques.
"How's the training going Shimmer?" Ranma asked the dragon as she walked up, the major hurtle they had was getting the rebels to treat the dragons as intelligent beings they were learning though.
"IT IS DIFFICULT BUT I HAVE ALMOST GOT IT." Shimmer responded as he quickly swished with his tail and knocked Kyado back into Caramon and Sturm.
"It *GIGGLE* seems you are doing a good job." Ranma said while trying to hold her laughter down to a giggle.
"I CAN DETECT HIM BUT HE KEEPS UPPING HIS SKILL LEVEL AND IT IS GETTING HARDER." Shimmer said with a snort of displeasure.
"It is the best way to learn and increase your skill Shimmer." Raistlin joined them as they waited for Kyado to untangle himself from the two warriors.
"YES I GUESS SO!" Shimmer seemed saddened as if he did not learn this strange art Kyado would abandon him.
"My word Shimmer that was fantastic! It took me almost a year to learn to detect my fellow brethren in their shadow state!" Kyado ran up, threw his arms around the dragon's neck, and hugged him.
Ranma and Raistlin watched as shock showed on Shimmer's face then they figured out what was wrong. The dragon was afraid Kyado would throw him aside and pick one of the other more powerful dragons. Ranma walked up and placed her hand on the dragons flank. Shimmer looked down and all Ranma did was smile and winked at him. She saw as his eyes opened wide and realized she was telling him he was safe as Kyado's companion.
"How does Shimmer's training go otherwise cousin?" Ranma asked as Raistlin joined her and leaned against the changing dragon.
"Well he is doing really well. I really did not think the dragons were going to be able to learn the art because of their forms but from what I sense they are all learning our arts quickly. Do you think Paladine is helping them?" Kyado said as he hugged Shimmers front leg since he was still quite large.
"I do. I can sense the same power in him and the other dragons that is in our team." Raistlin answered as Kyado nuzzled Shimmer's snout as he looked down at the mage as he leaned against his other leg.
"That is fantastic!" Kyado seemed happy to hear that.
"Oh and thanks cousin Ranma for being willing to teach me your art." Kyado told his cousin as in the time he was on Krynn he had almost mastered everything she knew.
"Well those schools of the blind masters helped not only you but us to learn a great deal faster. We are all now masters of your school. It also seems to help them learn our magic though since most of them do not have much magic they have enough. Also cousin remember your promise you can not teach my school to the Amazons nor anyone from Krynn that we don't want to know it." Ranma told her cousin as she turned to Mousse.
"I promise, though I would like to train Mousse as he needs protection from the Amazons as well!" Kyado told her but she shook her head no.
"I was given explicate orders from Happosai only my friends and our tribe members that are officially Krynn Amazons. If he learns Anything Goes because of the blind school Happi will and I mean WILL kill him. Besides as a sorcerer and wizard the Amazons cannot touch him. The next meeting I will tell them he is a magic user and now protected." Ranma told him.
"She and Mousse have been talking and he understands as they build a friendship she does not want him killed because you taught him a technique that would allow him to learn the school. He does not want to go back to the way he was. He also does not want to go back at all. Here he has freedom to be anything and not be the lowest of the low." Raistlin said as he watched as Mousse practiced some of Kyado's school.
"He will go back to get some degrees in things he feels will help him survive here and make a living. Since mom used the gems he gave her to set him up a trust that he can use to buy supplies and go to college." Ranma said as she laid her petite hand on the neck of Shimmer.
"Have there been any adverse effects?" Kyado asked as Mousse worked out under the watchful eyes of a bronze dragon named Star Raven.
"Not that we can tell. We won't know until he goes back to Earth for training. He may just opt to get books that will teach him what he wants to know." Ranma told the ninja.
"Have you noticed Star Raven's intense interest in him? Do you think like Shimmer Star Raven wants to be his companion?" Ranma asked with a warm smile.
"YES SHE DOES BUT IS NOT SURE HOW TO ASK HIM." Shimmer told them as he stared at the bronze.
"Oh well allow me." Ranma said and moved off toward Mousse.
The group watched as Ranma began talking with Mousse. Only Shimmer saw the smile on Raistlin's face but Kyado knew it was there. Mousse looked at her shocked then confused. The small group watching began to laugh as Ranma grabbed Mousse's arm and dragged him toward Star Raven. Ranma then introduced the two to each other and walked away. Then she rejoined her friends.
She turned and looked back and saw as Star Raven was lying on the ground. Mousse sat between her front legs and leaned against her chest. Ranma frowned as she felt the pain and loneliness come off the ex-Earth Amazon. She had not yet told him that she and the other companions wanted him to join their tribe. She turned to Raistlin and he nodded as he also felt the blind boy's pain.
"I think we should do it now." Raistlin told her and she nodded.
"Excuse me cousin we need to talk with Mousse if you wish you can join us since you are part of the Amazons. It will be nice to have a Japanese Amazon there when we do this." Ranma moved toward Mousse and Star Raven as Raistlin signaled to the other companions' and Krynn Amazon elders.

Mousse sat next to the bronze dragon as he sat quietly he felt a warm safe feeling wash over him. He began to talk about his, Ranma's life, and the pain he had caused Ranma due to the Nerima mentality. He was sorry as in the last few months after Hibiki left, he learned he and Ranma had a lot in common and that was why he was helping Ranma now with the Amazons. He wanted to go back to visit but he did not want to fall prey to the chaos in Nerima. Mousse stopped when a large shadow appeared before him. He looked up and saw all the companions he had come to care about and Kyado.
"Mousse we would like to talk to you." Ranma said as she sat down across from the Hidden Weapons master.
"What is it?" Mousse shifted nervously between Star Raven's claws.
"Well it is like this you have changed a great deal where as Hibiki would never do that. He wants someone to blame for his mistakes or for things that can't be controlled. This change is why we make this offer. You have shown yourself as a valuable part of our team and we ask if you would honor us and join the Krynn Amazons. You will have to prove yourself for a while before we will offer an Elder's position but I don't think it will take that long." Ranma stated as she smiled softly at the blind fighter.
"What about the Earth Amazons?" Mousse asked her as his eyes flitted to the other Krynn Amazons.
"Mousse you have grown once you were freed of Nerima your true wisdom came forward. We will tell them that the leaders of the Krynn Amazons made a unanimous decision. We feel the wisdom you have shown here is something we cannot let go. Though the decision is yours Mousse. Don't forget Elder Jasmine got you moved into the other two tribes and we are now asking you to join ours!" Tanis spoke next as he looked down at the young fighter they all have grown to care about after Hibiki left.
"Really!?" Mousse asked as he felt fear and hope.
"Yes and remember we follow the laws of the other tribes not the Joketsuzoku. So there are no marriage challenges and no outsider laws." Ranma stressed and Mousse nodded.
"I don't really have to think about it. I would be honored to become a member of the Krynn Amazons whether I am made an elder or not." Mousse rose and bowed to the eleven Krynn Amazons that rule the tribe.
"HOORAY! MOUSSE IS AN AMAZON!" Tasslehoff ran to Mousse and jumped into his opened arms, as he knew the Kender was coming.
"Now when next we talk to home Happosai will be at the meeting as I will have mom bring him. I will ask permission for you to be taught Anything Goes and Kyado can teach you the schools of the blind masters so you can learn faster but not until Happosai says yes! I don't want him killing you if you are on Earth learning." Ranma told him as Mousse smiled happily and nodded profusely.
Mouse followed the companions and Ranma back to their cave. He stopped when Star Raven did not move. He could just make out her bowed head. He ran back, hugged her snout, and pulled her after him toward his new friends and village. Star Raven just let him pull her along, as she was so happy she had found someone to be her friend.

Ranma sat alone in a tree across from the training ground of the Amazons. She giggled as she thought Caramon snored badly but with a bunch of dragons. It was like an apocalyptic catastrophe. She sat as she promised she would think about if she wanted to at least, get to know the panda's family. She was not sure she wanted to get to know them. Her grandfather did give her copies of all the Saotome School of Sen-Ken and her friends all know it. Though, her Umi and Yami-Sen-Ken were better. She may talk to them after the war but right now she does not want to know anymore family especially the family that created the panda.
She leaned her head back against the tree and stared up at the two moons of Krynn she wanted to get this war over she wanted to start her knew life with her new family. She and her mom had talked about everything and now understand everything. They can move on from here. Though if she moves to Krynn she cannot hold a seat on the ruling council but the advisory council would work if they all agree. As Ranma's eyes drooped closed, she lightly petted Bana as she snored quietly in her lap.

Nodoka, Ukyo, and Akaydo entered the Nekohanten. They waited for their eyes to adjust to the cool darkness. When they could see they moved to the permanently reserved table. Akaydo had called the Takashi family and much to Nodoka's displeasure the Saotome clan. Since they might talk with Ranma, it was her decision if she wanted to know her father's family. As they moved toward their table, the bell on the door rang and when they had sat down her mother and father came up behind them.
Shampoo came out and saw as the Japanese Amazons had arrived. She had a deep frown on her face but turned and reentered the kitchen. When the bell rang, again Shampoo came out and saw the two Saotome men as they took their seats. Her frown got deeper as she ducked back into the kitchen. She came out ten minutes later with several pots of tea, cups, saucers, and cookies. She placed them on the table making sure to glare at Ukyo who ignored her as she stared at Ranma's paternal grandfather and uncle.
"Greetings Elders and Saotome what are you doing here is there a meeting we don't know about?" Nova said as she came out followed by the other five elders and shampoo.
"There may be. Uncle Akaydo summoned Genma's father and brother as we will need to speak to Ranma after we talk." Nodoka spoke her anger at Genma's name did not go unnoticed by his family.
"That sounds ominous what has happened!?" Sable asked as the elders were served by Shampoo who grabbed a chair from another table to listen.
"Ranma and I met in the dream plain last night she and the magic users have finished the portals. We just finished getting it set up in Uncle Akaydo's vault. We now needs to know when to expect the warriors so we can contact Ranma so she can open her portal." Ukyo told them, as Nodoka wanted her to start interacting at these meetings to get them to trust her judgment and learn to not fear them.
"So you did not bring it with you?" Cologne asked a bit disappointed.
"No we did not. We had to get the stone acclimated to its new home. It had magic in it that set up protections from someone stealing the stone." Ukyo continued as she tried to remember all that they had talked about as they came from the vault.
"Spatula-girl stay quiet! This meeting of elders!" Shampoo rose a bit angry, as she was not permitted to join in what was being said.
"SHAMPOO! Sit down she has every right she is taking over for Elder Nodoka when she is ready. Go ahead Ukyo child you are doing fine." Quasar told Ukyo who blushed prettily and nodded.
"Thank you Elder Quasar. They have their portal rock secured so we cannot go to Krynn without them bringing out their stone. They also set the stone up as a communicator so if more Amazons either Chinese or Japanese Amazons want to enter the battle they can be notified." Ukyo continued as she ignored the glares from Shampoo.
"So if we have more warriors they must come to Japan to join the battle?" Snow Pea asked her anger evident.
"Yes there will be some of Uncle Akaydo's ninja left behind to protect his compound and they will get you access to the portal. Ranma does not want Amazons showing up out of nowhere especially I am afraid those of the Joketsuzoku tribe. She knows they have suspended the outsider and marriage laws for the duration of the war. She also knows they will come back and force her friends and fellow Amazons into marriage with their warriors. Remember the Krynn Amazons have a right to refuse their attempts but after Shampoo and your behavior Elder Cologne do you think your warriors will allow them that right." Ukyo continued as she and Ranma had talked much about the trouble Shampoo and Cologne had caused him and that was when she began to realize she was no better and strived to be his best buddy Ucchan again.
"YOU TAKE BACK INSULT TO SHAMPOO AND GREAT GRANDMOTHER!" Shampoo jumped to her feet her chúi drawn and ready to strike.
"SIT DOWN!" A staff came out and pressed the pressure points on the small of Shampoo's back as Snow Pea retook her seat.
"Well that may not be a worry any longer but we will have to wait for the missive from the Joketsuzoku Elders." She said cryptically as she glared at her counterpart on the council and Shampoo sprawled on the floor.
"We hope so elder Ranma wants to be happy and so far Krynn is where that is happening for her." Taji spoke as she glared down at the purple haired Amazon.
"Now let us contact Ranma since Saotome-san and his son wish to communicate with her." Nodoka snarled at the two men who looked confused.
"There is one more thing elder." Ukyo said as she handed a cigar box to Nova, Snow Pea, and Gazelle.
"What is this child?" Snow Pea asked as Nova opened it and found two glowing stones in the box.
"Ranma and the magic uses made extra communication stones the Takashi have one, grandfather has another this way if they just want to talk we don't have to check the vault all the time. The two there is to be placed in the joined council chamber the extra is for those Amazons left here to guard the restaurant or you can take it with you so you can communicate with the tribes." Ukyo said as she saw the proud smiles from Nodoka and her grandfather.
"We are going to use them to contact Ranma as they have one as well." Ukyo finished as Taji placed the Takashi stone on the table.
"Why are you calling Ranma a her? I thought it has a shifting curse." Renma asked as he tried to remember when that changed.
"Not any longer when Mousse and Hibiki allowed an evil mage to remove their curses he took Ranma's as well against her will. Then during the battle between the evil mage and Raistlin the three curses ended in her. She is now stuck and we are not sure if she will ever get her true form back or if she wants it back." Keitaro told them as he tried to hold in his anger remembering they had nothing to do with what Genma did.
The rainbow white stone glowed brightly as Taji touched the center of it. Nodoka leaned in as she was surprised, she could feel her child on the other side. She frowned slightly as for some reason Ranma was extremely happy. She felt left out of her child's joy being on Krynn away from her. She watched as a spiraling column appeared and at the end where it blossomed like their old spell into a large sphere.
"Ranma! Ranma dear it is me!" Nodoka started to talk to the sphere.
More then just the Chinese elders leaned in. As they, felt more then just Raistlin and Ranma's power in the crystal. As the sphere glowed brighter, an image of Ranma and Raistlin began to form. Nodoka smiled at her child as she waved to her mother. Nodoka sat back to allow the elders their chance to speak with the displaced warrior. Both Kioma and Renma leaned in to stare at the face of Ranma.
"Hello Elders I see mom told you about the portal and given you your gifts?" Ranma asked as the faces of the six elders crowded into the small frame of the sphere.
"Yes son-in-law we will be sending a missive back to the combined council to let them know we are ready and to give them the stone they will keep in China. They will start arriving as soon as they get the missive." Cologne told the young girl.
"Do you know how many? We will need to get the area ready for them." Ranma asked as she spotted her father off to one side of the sphere, no not her father but someone who looked, like him.
"I believe it will be nearly another one hundred from our combined tribes to start. When the other elders arrived, they brought about sixty with them. If we need to send more we will." Nova explained with a bit of worry at the anger on the girl's face.
"That is fine elder but why is the panda there!? I thought you punished him!?" Ranma's anger burst forth and it shocked the elders especially when a large group of dragons appeared behind her and glared into the sphere.
"Ranma dear this is not Genma this is your grandfather Kioma and uncle Renma. Renma is the heir to the Saotome School of Sen-Ken." Nodoka moved the two men in front of the sphere.
"They wanted to see you and to find out what happened to Genma. I gave them copies of his journals and explained it was not idle writings but a blue print he followed." Nodoka showed by her angry visage she did not want them there.
"So the panda did not create the Umi-Sen-Ken or the Yami-Sen-Ken, that figures." The disgust was evident on her pretty elfin face.
"Ranma we are sorry for what your fat...Genma put you through as well as the Tendos. We did not know that he became so, so evil!" Kioma said as he stared at the little red head trying to see the boy he knew was there.
"It does not matter, nor do you need to worry about me! I have friends here that care about me and since I am no longer, a Saotome you can forget all about me. You did anyway when I was born." The anger rose in Ranma so much, so the dragons began to push in around her as they sensed her pain rise as well as her anger.
"WHAT THE...ARE THOSE DRAG...DRAGONS!" Renma shouted as the others peered around the sides of the sphere to seen the newest members of the companions and many were glaring angrily at the two Saotome men.
"My goodness Elder Ranma your dragons have increased!" Snow Pea told the little red head.
"Yes Elder Snow Pea another fifteen Draconians showed up I think that is all we were able to save after I learned and adpatedTarkoda's school and taught the others." Ranma explained those on the Earth jumped back in shock as the large maul of one of the silver and brass metallic dragons filled the sphere.
"Will there, be more?" Nova asked as she leaned in and looked at them.
"They are not as large as regular dragons is that from the conversion?" Nova continued as she smiled at the two dragons.
"Yes they don't know why but it could be due to the Dark Queens's corruption of them in their eggs. It looks like they will be about a third smaller then the other dragons. They have been teaching the rebels to ride them so when the metallic dragons join the war and we believe they will once thy find out about the Draconians. Our fighters will be ready to ride them." Raistlin put in as she laid a hand on the neck of the silver dragon.
The silver snorted at the sphere then turned slightly and nodded at the red mage. The silver and brass moved back from the sphere still keeping eye contact. They were wondering why their dragon fear was not affecting them. They reached the other dragons and watched the rest of the meeting. They kept a keen eye on the two men related to Ranma's sire. The silver and brass smiled as they seemed affected by the dragon fear but the little women were not.
"Don't expect us to succumb to your dragon fear lizard! We are all over three hundred years old and have seen more frightening things then you!" Quasar told the to confused dragons with a slight smirk.
Ranma tried to hide a smile as she looked over her shoulders at the dragons. She was not successful. Neither were the rest of the companions. Ranma's attention was drawn to the sphere when she heard the voice of the elder Saotome. She frowned at his comment and became angry when she felt he was trying to force her to do something she did not want to do.
"You can't do that! You are a Saotome and will remain a Saotome! It is your duty to marry and produce heirs!" Those on Earth glared at him but it was Ranma's right to respond.
"You have no say in my life Saotome you lost that right when you allowed the panda to do what he did to the Tendos and me! You did not lift a finger to help mom find me! I will marry whom I want and when I want! I was never trained in your school except for the two techniques the old man stole from you! I am an Anything Goes Grandmaster as my friends are almost grandmasters of _my_ School! You have met me, our business has been concluded." Ranma's face was cold as artic ice she had implored the Soul of Ice to keep from breaking down.
"YOU CANNOT SPEAK TO ME THAT WAY!" Kioma shouted his anger at being dismissed evidently, it seemed Renma had a cooler head.
"Yes father she can! She is right Nodoka came to us and asked for our help to find Ranma after Genma left with him. She feared the type of training Ranma would be put through. You refused to help her expecting him to train Ranma in the School of Sen-Ken. Well we now know that was a pipe dream." Renma turned to Ranma and smiled gently at the strong warrior.
"I would be proud to call you my child Ranma despite Genma's attempt to make you weak and dependent on him. You are strong and capable those you call friends and their willingness to fight to protect you shows you are a person of good character. Fight well child but when your war is over and you visit Earth please come and see me I would truly love to learn about my nephew and niece." Renma told a shocked Ranma as he rose and dragged his father to his feet to leave.
Renma bowed to the Amazons and Takashi clan then pushed his father toward the door. Before he was out of site of the sphere a small backpack shot through the sphere at Ranma. She caught it and was glad the other magic users helped give the new sphere the same powers. Raistlin opened it and she saw the scrolls of the Saotome School of Sen-Ken. She looked up and saw as her uncle mouthed his last sentence to her.
"To help win the war!" Then he and his father were gone.
"Well it looks like your uncle wants to aid in your fight on Krynn Ranma." The deep male voice spoke as he and two other males moved in front of the sphere.
"Though I am no better then Kioma for when your mother came to me for help I refused. Though, my sons did not. They helped her in trying to locate you and after a few months of ignoring her, I began to feel the pang of not having Nodoka in our life. That was then I joined my sons in finding you. Though I had the ability to repair some of the damage Genma had caused you along the way." Ranma recognized her maternal grandfather's face showing the anger at what he told her.
"I am now asking for your forgiveness. I saw myself in Saotome Kioma's behavior and I hated what I saw. Though I did start helping after six months, I should have helped from the beginning. All I can do is ask for your and Nodoka's forgiveness of a stubborn old man." Ranma watched as her grandfather bowed to her deeply.
Ranma watched as her mother entered the confines of the new communication sphere. She then wrapped her arm around her father's shoulder. She leaned in and kissed his cheek then laid her head on his shoulder his arms going around his daughter tightly. He laid his cheek on the top of her head and Ranma stared in shock as she saw a tear flow down his cheek to the top of her mother's head.
"Grandfather I am disappointed that you waited at all. Though I thank you for telling me and allowing me to decide what I will do. I am proud to call you my grandfather though I will take it slow to see if I can still trust you. I have been manipulated my entire life and I will not allow that any longer." Ranma told him as she nodded her head to him.
"That is all I can ask of you Ranma and I promise to show you by my deeds that I and the whole Takashi clan can be trusted as I am sure the Morboka clan will." Keitaro said with a smile as Kyado moved into view behind Ranma a copper dragon behind him.
"Your grandfather is correct young Ranma the Morboka clan stands with our sister clan and fellow Amazons." Akaydo told them his granddaughter in front of him with his hands resting on her shoulders.
"As do I Ran-Chan. I...I want my old friend back no engagement just friends." Ukyo told Ranma as she bowed to her friend.
"I will give it some thought. I will keep an opened mind and allow what happens to happen but I will not be anyone's property I am my own person." Ranma told them all her eyes flashing red with anger but all including her mother nodded, they understood.
"So son uh who is your new friend?" Akaydo asked as the copper's maul bent over Kyado's shoulder to look at his friend's family.
"He is called Shimmer. He has bonded with me and we are becoming fast friends." Kyado told his father with a bright smile.
"What about the training of Ranma and her friends?" Akaydo asked with the same warm smile.
"Oh that is already done and I have also learned Ranma's school. She helped me to meld it into my version of our school. I fear that the Dark Queen is in for a big surprise. The other rebel leaders have already gone except the magic users. They and Porthios the leader of this faction we are with have set up where the attacks will come from. So the sooner you and your war party arrives, the faster we can end this war." Kyado said as all saw his demeanor change from jovial to enraged.
"We have already sent the missive. I believe Dolphin was dispatched. With her curse she is the fastest." Nova told the group seeing Mousse as he moved closer to hear about his sister.
"Elders there, has been a change here. Mousse has lost all remnants of the Nerima mentality. As such, he has proven himself to be trustworthy to me and the other Elders of the Krynn Amazons. We have asked him and he has agreed to be part of our tribe. It is our choice and he will be accorded the respect of his status." Ranma told the elders as the others moved closer to her and Mousse.
"He used an artifact to send you away from Earth!" Gazelle asked though the proud smile on her face showed she agreed.
"To a place where there is a war that needs me, him and all the Amazons to survive." Ranma hit them where they lived the right to fight for freedom.
"OOOO sneaky daughter." Nodoka said with a giggle.
"Did you know of this Elder Nodoka?" Cologne asked her tone evident she was not happy and Shampoo's glaring at the sphere told them she did not like it either.
"No I did not but Ranma talked to me about how Mousse had changed and grown on Krynn and that she was beginning to trust him and his advise. Let us not forget he is a master of the Hidden Weapons School and because of him Ranma and their friends are as well. That is something else that will cause the evil there some difficulty. Ranma dear I am proud of you to realize Mousse has changed and for giving him a second chance and a place to belong." Nodoka said to her child and the Amazons.
"Well it is your tribe we have no say technically. Though, my tribe agrees. What about your feelings for Shampoo?" Sable asked as Gazelle nodded her agreement.
"I love Shampoo Elder Sable but I have been able to see clearly that my life under Shampoo's control was much like Ranma's under Akane. I want better for me. Here I will get it I won't be treated like a pariah for something someone else did to me. I will learn what I want and make my tribe better so it will be as long lived as the Earth Amazons." Mousse told them as he bowed to show his respect.
"Then our tribe will support your decision as well Elder Ranma. Let us hope your trust in Mousse is well placed." Quasar added with a quick nod from Nova.
"I refuse he stole an artifact and used it that had a death penalty. A sentence that should have been carried out if not for Elder Ranma, Nodoka and Taji's interference." Cologne stated with angry red eyes.
"I am also part of Cologne's tribe and I fear she is correct but since she agreed to allow his banishment she cannot complain now. It is the Krynn's choice if they will except a defective male." Snow Pea said with a sad frown as an image of her great great granddaughter Ginger crossed her mind.
"We do except him. He showed he could grow and change something Hibiki could not do. He has overpowered the mentality that made him hate Elder Ranma and has proven he can be trusted and protect all of us if need be." Tika said as she stepped forward the other two red heads with her she glanced at Ranma and received a slight nod.
"We have figured out a way to protect him from even Shampoo and Cologne." Laurana told them with an evil smile.
"What would that be child?" Nova asked, as she was not sure she would like this bit of news.
"Mousse had enough magic in him to make him a sorcerer and wizard. By your own law books harming or killing a magic users is an unpardonable crime of DEATH!" Ranma said as she placed her hand on Mousse's shoulder, as did Raistlin.
"WHAT!" Shampoo and Cologne shouted while the others just smirked at them.
"Why would you teach him magic Elder Ranma after all he wanted to kill you." Gazelle asked the warrior.
"I didn't he learned while I was being trained. Hibiki tried but he was just too angry they would not teach him. Mousse just took notes and learned on his own. Raistlin, Argon, and I just finished the training. Therefore, Cologne if you want Shampoo to be alive after this war she better not come with you. It won't be us that kills her thought!" Ranma said as a bronze dragon's maul came into view.
"This is Star Raven his bonded dragon!" Goldmoon told them as she put her hand gently on the side of the dragon's neck.
"We will contact you when the warriors have arrived. Do you need to speak with Doctor Tofu since it will be your last chance?" Nova asked as she smiled as the three other red heads gave Mousse a hug that made Shampoo mad.
"Yes Raistlin and I have been working more in depth with Tarkoda's school and have made some changes I would like to give him what we found. He and jiji might be able to use it to help Akane and maybe even Hibiki. So not just the doc but jiji as well." Ranma said her eyes the only thing showing the pain she felt at their betrayal.
"Very well we will have them here when we next talk." Sable told them as the orb faded.

"Well Mousse you are an Amazon again this time I hope it is a more enjoyable experience." Ranma said as she and Raistlin rose and faced the blind boy.
"It has been so far Ranma and thank you for giving me a chance to prove I have changed." Mousse said as he bowed slightly to her and she returned the bow.
"We all expect much Mousse but you have already proven you will give much to the Krynn tribe and possibly be a good elder when we feel you have earned that right." Raistlin told the Hidden Weapons master.
"But we are Amazons men aren't...!" Mousse was cut off by the laughter of the male companions.
"Mousse those of us in love with the women of our team choose not to take our place on the council because they are already there. It will also make the Earth Amazons more comfortable dealing with them. The rest of our male members are elders and they will just have to get use to it, especially if you are offered that honor and choose to accept it." Tanis told him as he came up and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Tha...Thank you I never hoped to be an elder! Just the option to be an Amazon in a tribe as liberal as the Krynn Tribe was enough." Mousse said a sad but happy smile on his face.
"Ok enough dilly dallying we got training to do and we have to figure out where a hundred sixty or more Amazons and probably just as many ninja are going to come through." Ranma said as she slapped Mousse's back lightly but still strong enough to make him stumble.
"We should measure this opened area here under the cave it looks like it will be large enough for them to enter Krynn and to make camp here. Porthios would that be ok or would you prefer they stay with the main group of rebels under your leadership!?" Ranma asked the elf leader drawing him back from the images of the six ghoulish women.
"Well I am not sure we are overwhelmed as it is...!" Porthios started but was not sure he wanted to leave them to the control of Tanis.
"Well you will have to share leadership as the elders that come with them will be the ones they listen to." Mousse told him and Porthios glared at him.
"I am leader of this faction!" Porthios snarled then backed up when the bronze dragon Star Raven stood up over Mousse protectively.
"I think Ranma if I read them correctly it will be best to allow them to be a rebel faction onto themselves like you and your friends. They would be best as an elite force if they fight like you do. I think though it might be a good idea if we, and some of the other magic users join them. They will need the magical help and we can assist the elders to understand Krynn and give them the strategies we worked out." Landolkan said with a thoughtful look.
