The next morning Luna had breakfast with Roma. Hunter went to do an interview with some press. They sat with Mishca chatting about what kind of life she could expect.

"Roma. Something is bothering me. I read in The Orical that if Hunter and I were to marry and consummate that he could forget me. It doesn't explain what happens exactly. If that's true I could never marry him. I hate that fact because I love him more than I've loved anyone. I haven't told him and I've tried to block the thought of it. I couldn't bare hurting him. There was a page missing in the book. Is there more to it?"

Roma sighed, "I am aware of the missing pages. I can only tell you when this time comes, you won't be able to stop it. The bonding ritual has already started and there is nothing that can stop you from being together. There will come a time you will have to make a choice and make the ultimate sacrifice for love. To save yourself, your Alpha, and end the lone wolves suffering. You will take the final bond or lose everything you love. It is written in The Orical. It's your destiny. But, it is true. When you mate on your wedding night, you both will fall into a deep sleep before dawn. When you wake, it will be no more than a distant dream."

Luna grabbed her chest trying to hold back tears, "So it's true. This all has to happen. I can't stop it. He will forget me and I'll be alone again."

"I'm afraid so. But, your blackouts will end. It is unknown about the dreams. Hunter and his pack will forget you. But, you will remember everything."

"Will he still be a wolf?" Luna let out a huge breath trying to stay calm.

"Yes. It's his birthright. The Wolfpack are the strongest dominant pack I've ever known. There is a chance your love is so strong he will remember. I can't tell you more. It's not wise to know your future. The choice is yours but, once you bond and break your open link you will be so drawn to him you won't be able to fight it." Roma took her hand. "You have the ability to end a centuries old curse and help our people. I hope you accept it and move forward with the rituals."

"I'll think about it. This is a lot to process." Luna got ready to head back to the hotel room to wait for Dee to arrive. Roma stopped her.

"Luna, if you let him turn you, it must be before the summer solstice. If not your bond will be lost forever."

"I understand. Thank you. Roma, I am grateful for everything. I hope to see you at the Hall of Fame party. I know Hunter got you access to the party. I'll call you later."

"Talk to you soon printsessa."

Luna was sitting in the hotel room trying to make sense of everything. She wanted to tell her best friend everything but, she knew it would just put Dee in danger too. A knock came on the door and Luna went to see who it was. Dee stood with a huge smile on her face and Greg standing behind her. Luna rushed hugging her.

"Lu, are you ok? Have you been crying?"

"It's...I had a seizure yesterday. I guess I am still a little out of it. Please come in. Hunter should be back soon."

"Are you ok? You need to see a doctor?"

"No. I"m fine. I'm just glad you both are here. I ordered room service for us all. Do you like your room?"

"It's great. Hunter went all out. So you decided to share a room huh?" Dee raised her eyebrows.

"Stop. I've been staying in that bedroom. He's in the other."

Hunter came in looking frustrated and ripped on his tie and went over kissing the top of Luna's head. "Hey love. Hey Dee. Greg." He loosened buttons on his dress shirt and flopped down on the couch.

They all went to sit in the living room area. "Everything ok Hunter? You look beat." Greg sat down pulling Dee over to him.

Hunter stretched and put his hand up reaching for Luna to come sit with him. She snuggled into his embrace looking at him worried. "I'm fine. Had a rough interview this morning. I can't stand that jerk. Every time he interviews me he just pisses me off."

Dee laughed, "Let me guess. The guy from Off the Record. The Canadian guy. He's a douche."

"Yes. He is such an arrogant prick. He asked me about Luna and I. I guess some fan took some photos of us together in Louisville on our date. He said some rude things about our relationship and I almost decked him. I couldn't wait to get back to my girl away from all that." He took a deep breath and relaxed. "So, I was hoping you all would join me and my parents for dinner tonight. Tomorrow starts all the big events. There are a few things going on today if you want to attend."

Someone knocked again. "Room service!"

Hunter looked over his shoulder, "You order lunch babe?"

"Yes. I'll get it."

Dee went over and sat by Hunter. "We would love to join you tonight. We are going to go check out the merch area and meet and greet later. Is she ok since her seizure last night?"

Hunter jumped slightly, "She told you?"

"Yes. Didn't really go into detail. She blew it off. Is she ok? Do we need to take her to the hospital?"

"OH. No. She seems to be doing better today." Hunter ran his hand over his face.

"You sure something's not wrong? You seem stressed."

Hunter looked over at Luna and she was helping the bellhop. She looked over and smiled. Finally he relaxed. "Fine. Just fine." Hunter was watching her eat a piece of cheese and noticed the bellhop was lingering just a little too long. He got up getting ready to tip the man when he felt it. "Son of a bitch." He walked over calmly and went up to the man just about the time the man started to pounce on Luna. Hunter whispered to him, "I wouldn't do that if I were you loner. You know I can rip you apart before you even made your move."

The small bellhop looked up a little frightened seeing Hunter towering over him. Luna looked over noticing the look Hunter had on his face. The man grabbed his cart and headed out the door. Luna went over and wrapped into Hunters arm. She whispered to him, "Was that one of them?"

"Yes. No more ordering room service ok. It makes you vulnerable. If you had been alone he would have attacked. Let's just eat. We need to talk after Greg and Dee head out."

They ate lunch and chatted for a while. Why Hunter went to do the opening press conference, Luna went with Dee, Greg and, X-Pac to the autograph signing. Pac introduced her to a few wolf wrestlers. Trish Stratus, the Hardy brothers, Undertaker, Kane, and Edge. Luna was surprised to find the McMahans were not one of the wolf clans. Pac told her that if Vince found out he would exploit it for all he could and they were glad he had no idea. She even met a few wolf fans in the crowd that Pac pointed out. It was easy to tell a lone wolf from a pack wolf. Lone wolves seldom went in large crowds. She actually was enjoying the idea of being one of them. The family packs Pac pointed out seemed so happy. She missed having a large family.

After signing autographs Pac took Luna behind the stage why Greg and Dee were looking over the merchandise tables. "Luna. I want you to meet someone. This is Sargent Chris Walker. He is one of us. He came up to me at the autograph signing. He served as a Marine in the gulf."

"Oh really. My brother was a Marine and served in the Gulf War."

"I know. I knew him. He was in my platoon. David was a great man. He was like a brother. He knew about what I am. I turned one night why were in a ground fight. I was protecting my crew and David saw it. He never once was scared of me. He talked about his sister who had these dreams. How she was special too."

Luna teared up, "Did he know I was…?"

"No. But I suspected by the way he talked about you. He would have been proud. If you decided to turn, I thought you should know that he would be ok with it. He was actually thinking of being one of us until he got cancer. His brain cancer made him forget all about us. I think he would be proud of you. I know I am." He took a photo from his wallet. "Here. This was both of us in boot camp. I have another. I thought you might want it."

Luna held it to her chest. "Thank you." She hugged the man and he slipped off into the crowd. Luna stood looking at the photo. Dee came over looking over her shoulder.

"That's David. Was that guy one of his Marine buddies?"

"Yes. Dee. Everything is going to be ok. Don't worry about me anymore. I'm not sick. You're right. I'm special."

Later that night they had dinner with Hunters parents and everything was like a normal family evening. Luna kept looking at Hunter. She knew she was ready. If her brother accepted this life she could too.
