With the tunnel fixed, we got to visit Konohana during the Fall Crop Festival.
"Howard! Laney! You two made it!"
Our cheerful farmer greeted us as we arrived.
"Your yam looks very delicious, Lillian. I really hope you win!"
The winner ended up being Gombe, the veteran, with his five-star spinach. Lillian was visibly crushed as she collected her defeated yams.
"I really thought I had it this year."
In an effort to cheer her up, I offered her to make some yam dessert using her crops.
"Even if you didn't win, it tastes wonderful!"
"Thanks Howard," she finally smiled.
