When she was allowed to leave the lake one day a year, Freya had chosen Merlin's birthday, September 12.
When Merlin's birthday came along, Freya wasted no time in going to Camelot to find him. She asked several people, and finally managed to find him with the knights, who were training. Merlin was just about to spar with King Arthur when he saw her.
At first, Merlin couldn't believe it, but when she ran closer, he knew it was her.
He threw down his sword and shield and ran towards Freya, sweeping her up into a hug and giving her a kiss.
The knights saw and let out cat calls, but all Merlin heard was Freya's voice.
"Happy Birthday Merlin."
