ALLLLRIGHTYY THENNNNN! FINALLY! AN UPDATE! *HALLELUJAH* Okay, so don't kill me yet. I know I've taken sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooo long to update but I do have a reason! I've been working so much recently and because I work with children the paperwork is pileing up and I'm having to bring it home with me! ): I tried to make this chapter as long as I could without rushing things! I know you guys want Van and Kai to kisssss, ( Spoilers! Sooner than you think! ;) ) But I need to get some things out of the way first and to lead up to it. It'll be great. ;) :P So it will happen don't you worry! :L I'm not sure when the next update will be, the only reason I've been able to update tonight was because I've finished most of the paperwork I have to do, and I had some free time! (For the first time in weeks! D: ) But yeah, I really hope you guys like this chapter and it was worth the wait. :)

"Xion, hun wake up. We're here" Tifa spoke sweetly as she shook Xion lightly. Xion slowly opened her tired eyes to discover entirely different surroundings around her. She lifted her head off of the car window it was leant against and slowly looked around. This place was far different than home. It looked like the kind of place you'd see in a fairytale. "Incredible isn't it?" Tifa said as she too stared out at the surroundings as she still sat next to Xion in the car. "This town used to look nothing like this. It was broken and battered. But! With a little help from everyone, we've restored it to it's former glory. You're gonna love it here Xion." Xion sat in silence. She wasn't sure whether she liked this or not.
'I can't give up at the first hurdle' she thought. She looked on over at her aunt and smiled.
"I'm sure I will love it" Tifa smiled back at Xion and patted her on the shoulder.
"Come on. Let's get your bags. Your bedrooms huge by the way" she said as she got out of the car.
"Really?! I always wanted a huge bedroom!" she yelled happily as she got out of the car and shut the door. Tifa smiled at her and handed her a case.

The clock kept ticking. His bedroom was silent. You could hear a pin drop. Sora lead lifelessly on his bed in a dry pair of shorts. Aimlessly staring at his alarm clock as the analoge clock on the wall kept ticking away as he clutched hold of Kairi's necklace tightly. He watched as the minutes went by one by one. It was 11.30pm. He'd been there a for quite a while. His pillow soaked from his tears. He'd never cried so much in his life. Not even when he was little. What was the point in trying to pretend everything was okay? 'Nothings going to ever be okay. My own mother hates me' he thought. You wouldn't have thought that this time last week, he was messing around with his friends and enjoying life. Sora had become an entirely different person. His pointless staring was interupted by a repetative vibrating noise which came from the side of his alarm clock. He lazily picked up his phone which is came from, his heart almost thumped out of his chest when he saw Roxas' name appear on the screen. He placed his phone back down where it was and ignored it. It soon stopped. He closed his eyes and sighed. His phone suddenly made a vibrating noise again. He picked up the phone again to find he had a text message from Roxas. He took a deep breath in, then let it out as he opened the text.

'Hey man, I tried calling but signal must be out or something. Anyway! We need to talk to you tomorrow. We being me, Hayner and Riku. Don't worry, Riku's calmed down now so he's not gonna 'rip your throat out' as he put it before. I understand how you may be feeling right now, but you need to get your head out of the gutter. Everyone makes mistakes Sora. Most people learn from their mistakes and it's like they say, everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is a test run of a real relationship with someone else. I know right now you're probably thinking that you don't want anyone else but Kai, it's natural. I mean, how you're reacting to whats happened shows me you still truly love her. But those feelings will pass I promise. Anyway, we'll be round tomorrow to make sure you turn up to college! Everything will be okay Sora. See you tomorrow'

Sora felt his lips curve into a very small smile. "Thanks guys" he whispered to himself as another tear leaked from an eye and rolled down to the pillow. Sora placed his phone back onto his cabinate and rolled onto his back. He lifted both of his hands and rubbed them over his face. Roxas was right, he needed to pull it together. He couldn't stay like this forever. Yeah it was going to be hard, but nobody ever said life was easy. Sora sighed and lifted himself upright. Heaving himself of of his bed, he headed for his front door. He trudged up the hallway to the bathroom. It felt like forever to reach there. It felt like one of those moments where the door was getting further and further away as he got closer and closer. He walked straight past his mothers room and Vanitas' room. Not even aknowledgeing they were there. Since the arguement earlier, the house stayed in a dead silence. Not even Vanitas was making a ruckus like he usually did at this time of the night. After what seemed like an eternity, Sora finally reached the bathroom. He opened the door and let himself in and shut the door tight behind him. He reached up slightly and pulled a cord which sent the light on. Flickering a few times before it settled. Sora began running the shower for it to heat up, then took a look in the mirror which hung on the wall. His eyes were red and puffy from the crying and his cheek still a little red. It swelled a tiny bit too.
'I guess I deserved that. I'm sorry Kairi, I truly am. I just wish you could see how much I am' he thought. He sighed and then run his fingers through the front of his brunette spikes to the back. After, he peeled off his shorts he changed into and stepped into the shower. The hot water trickling down his body felt great. Especially as he'd been out in the cold and wet all day long. He felt like he could stay there forever.

About 2 months passed. Things felt really different. Kairi sat at her desk and tapped her pencil on the desk unknowingly. She thought about everything that had happened and how things were now. The way her and Sora walked past eachother in the corridors like they were strangers. That almost everyone still hated Sora for what he did and what happened to her. And that Xion still hadn't returned. She couldn't deny how close she'd become with Vanitas either. They had been spending alot of time together since what happened with Sora. Kairi wasn't sure of what she felt about him. There was something, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it.
"Kairi!" a voice yelled as a ruler was thrown at her. Kairi jumped in surprise and quickly shot her head in the direction the ruler came from. Right next to her sat Namine. "Quit tapping your pencil! It's getting annoying!" she moaned.
"Oh...sorry. I didn't relalise I was doing it." Kairi apologised.
"What are your plans after college?" Namine asked.
"Uh well...-"
"Right class! If we could stop wasting time and return to our seats! We can begin!" boomed a teacher as he entered the class making them jump in surprise.
Mr Saix. Yeah, he's scary. Nobody gets on the wrong side of him. The last time that happened, this poor kid had his head beaten up against the board. (A/N: Whoever guesses what that's from gets a cookie! ;D)
He had long bright blue hair and pierceing yellow eyes, quite like the colour of Vanitas'. He was Kairi and Namine's literature teacher. They both regreted ever taking this subject!
"Anything anybody wants to get of their chest before we start? No? Good. Now shut it!"
'This is going to be a long day...' Kairi thought as she rested her head in her hands with her elbows on the table.

Down in the music room, Vanitas sat with a few friends he'd made including Roxas with a guitar resting on his lap.
If it weren't for Kairi and her pushiness, he'd still be at home wasting the day away.
Sat with him were a red spiked boy called Axel, a boy called Demyx, who's hair was just all round...weird. And a quiet boy who had light bluey/grey hair which hung over most of his face. Going by the name of Zexion.
"I think we're finally getting close to cracking that song boys!" Axel exclaimed happily.
"Yep! Just a little more practice and we'll be better than Twilight Towns band!" Roxas smiled smugly.
Just then a tall man walked into the room they were practicing in.
"Ah I thought I'd find you boys here" he smiled. The man had short blonde hair and a rather relaxing voice. "There's a battle of the bands competition coming up in about a week or so which is being held at Twilight Town College. I want you boys to represent us!" he said proudly.
"Woah? Us? Really?" Demyx exclaimed happily. Vanitas was a little stunned.
"Sir...do you really think we're that good? I mean...we've only just formed and-" he started.
"Which is exactly why I want you boys there! Something new and different! I know you boys will pull it off! Make me proud!" he smiled and with that he let himself out of the room.
"Was that a dream or did that just happen?" Axel asked confused.
"It happened..." Roxas mumbled.
"This is great guys! Just imagine it!" Demyx shouted as he stood up on his chair. "Our names in lights, the crowd going crazy for us! Chanting for more! The crowd wearing mullet wigs because they love me!"
"Sit down you idiot!" Axel moaned as he dragged Demyx down from the chair.
"Hey! You destroyed my dream!" Demyx pouted as he folded his arms in annoyance.
"Cry me a river!" said Axel sarcastically.
"Zex, are they always like this?" Vanitas asked quietly.
"Yep. 24/7. They fight like an old married couple" he muttered.
"I heard that!" Axel yelled annoyed as he threw one of his drumsticks at Zexion's head.
"So we have about a week to think of a song to play and get it perfect, whilst doing coursework and perfecting our other song too? Ha! We're so screwed." Vanitas laughed.
"Naaa, it'll be a peice of cake!" Roxas laughed.
"Cake? Speaking of which, I'm hungry" Demyx moaned.
Axel, Roxas, Vanitas and Zexion shook their heads at him.
"It's a wonder he's not fat with the amount he eats" Axel muttered to Vanitas quietly. Vanitas snickered quietly and plucked a few strings on his guitar. It felt so good to be playing one again after so long.
"So Van, how long have you lived here now?" Demyx asked.
"Uh, around 2 months I think" Vanitas replied placing one hand behind his head and scratched it.
'Man time flies' he thought.
How come you moved here anyway?" Axel asked as he flipped his remaining drumstick in the air and caught it. Vanitas looked up at Axel and carelessly answered.
"Oh just family problems. It doesn't matter now anyway. It was a long time ago."
Axel got the slight feeling that he didn't want to talk about it, so he dropped it and moved on to another subject.
"What about any girls? You met somebody you like yet?" he smirked. Vanitas' face went a little red when he said that. There was only one person who flew though his thoughts at that moment.
"Awwwww, look! Vanitas is blushing! I take it there is. You little stud!" Axel winked at him. Vanitas felt like he wanted the floor to just open up and swallow him.
"Who is she?!" Roxas asked.
"Do we know her?!" Demyx asked
"What does she look like?!" Axel asked again.
"U-uh! Well..." Vanitas started.
At that moment, the bell rang for break.
'Saved by the bell!' he thought. A feeling of relief overcame him.
"FREEDOM!" Demyx yelled as he fled out of the room.
"I will find out who this chick is" Axel winked making Vanitas feel uneasy.
"Cut the guy some slack! Jeez" Zexion moaned as he put down his book. "If he wants to tell us who this fair maiden is then he will tell us when he's ready to. Right Vanitas?"
"Uh...right..." 'Fair maiden? What?! Who uses that term anymore?!' Vanitas thought.
"Zexion! You're such a killjoy! I was only messing with him a little" Axel smirked as he twiddled his drumstick between his fingers like a majorette's baton.
"Ah leave the guy alone" Roxas laughed as he snached the drumstick from Axel's hand and tapped him on the head with it.
The boys grabbed their bags and placed their instruments back in their rightful places.
"So what's going on after college?" Axel asked as they reached the corridor. Zexion carried on reading his book blissfully unaware of anything going on around him.
"Well...I'm spending some quality time with Namine" Roxas smiled.
"Ugh! Enough of the soppy stuff. You'll make me puke" Axel moaned.
"You're just jealous!" Roxas teased.
"I'm not! I'd rather not have a girl hanging off me all the time" He laughed.
"Yeah whatever. What about you Van? You up to much?" Roxas asked ignoring Axel. Vanitas smiled to himself a little.
"Well...I promised Kairi I'd take her to visit Twilight Town soon, considering we both finish at lunch today I thought I'd might ask her if she wanted to go" He trailed off. He'd spent all the time he could with her. He just loved to be around her. He'd recently realised he liked her more than just a friend. More than a best friend. He wouldn't admit it though. Even though her and Sora had been over for a while, she was still his brothers ex. The thought of her made him blush.
"Awwwwww, Vanitas is blushing. Thinking about Kairi are we?" Axel winked.
"N-no I'm not! Don't be ridiculous!" He stuttered out panicking. Vanitas blushed a little more.
"I don't get what's up with you two" Roxas added.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you guys are around eachother alot but you claim nothings going on" Roxas eyed Vanitas suspisiously.
Vanitas grew hot. What would happen if they knew?
"Nothing's going on, honest. I mean come on! She's my brothers ex! It's not right"
"You would if you could though" Axel winked at him.
"Would what?"
"Date her obviously"
Vanitas struggled to find his words.
"Uh...well...y-yeah. Maybe-"
"HA! Knew it!" Axel teased and winked at him.
"Dude! Shut up!" Vanitas grew red in the face. All the while Roxas eyed him and smirked.
"Speak of the devil, here she comes" Roxas mumbled as he saw Kairi approaching with Namine by her side. Vanitas swept his head round and saw the red headed beauty trailing towards him. She had her long red hair up in a pony tail today and her fringe swept across her forehead. She wore a pair of black leggings, a black vest top and a light coral coloured jacket. On her feet she wore her light brown ugg boots and round her neck dangled her pearl drop necklace she never took off. She looked quite attractive today. More than usual.

"Hey boys!" Namine smiled.
"Hey" They greeted as Roxas approached Namine and placed his hands on her hips and kissed her on the cheek.
"Hi Vanitas" Kairi greeted sweetly.
"H-hey" he replied nervously.
"Hey Kairi! Van's got something he wants to ask you!" Axel said loudly as he pushed Vanitas a little closer to Kairi making him jump. Vanitas turned his head round to face Axel with a death glare upon his face.
'I'm going to kill you!' he thought.
"Oh...yes?" She smiled. Vanitas turned his head back round to Kairi's smiling face. 'Thanks Axel! You moron! I'm going to screw this up I just know it!' he moaned in his thoughts.
"Uh...I was just wondering...if uh..." he started. He felt Axels's head peer over his shoulder and Roxas looking at him. "guys I can't do this with you loytering around me!" he moaned.
The boys refused to move. Vanitas tutted and sighed in frustration. He took Kairi by the hand and lead her away from the group. He pulled her round the corner and she stood up against the wall.
"Sorry" he apologised.
"It's alright" Kairi giggled. He looked on up at her and studied her face carefully.
'You're so beautiful Kairi...' "What was it you were going to ask me?" Kairi suddenly asked snapping Vanitas out of his day dream.
"Uh! I um..."
Vanitas felt his body temperature rise instantly.
"I-uh...I just...I thought that...maybe you'd like to uh..."
"Vanitas Strife, are you asking me out on a date?" Kairi winked. Vanitas blushed instantly. It wasn't a date was it!? He was just doing as he promised!
"Uh no! No it's not a date! I uh-I just remembered that you said you wanted to visit Twilight Town some day and I thought that...maybe today you'd like to? I mean seeing as we both finish at lunch today.
'This would be so much easier if I didn't know I liked you!' he moaned in his thoughts.
'He's cute when he's flustered' Kairi thought.
"I'm kidding Van" she giggled childishly. Vanitas grunted in annoyance.
'So I just made a fool out of myself for nothing. Ugh'
"Remind me to thank you for that..." he muttered sarcastically. "Ow!" he moaned as Kairi punched him playfully on the arm.
"Man up!" she giggled.
"Bad arm remember?" he groaned as he rubbed it to ease the pain.
"Sorry! I forgot! Are you alright?" She asked feeling guilty.
"No I'm half left" he joked with a small smile at the end of it.
Kairi shook her head and smiled a little.
"You're so childish" She smiled.
"Yeah I know" he laughed. "So do you wanna come? You can say no if you'd like. I mean you probably have better things to be doing" he said shyly. Vanitas waited for his reply anxiously.
"I'd love to come" she said and smiled at him after a small silence. Vanitas looked up at her face. She was smiling.
"Serious?"
"Yeah. I'd love to" she said softly.
"Great! Uh, so um. Meet me outside at the usual place?"
"Sure!" She smiled.
"Okay, see ya!" he bidded and left. He grinned to himself lightly, not enough that his friends could see. For the first time in a really long time, he was truly happy. There was no dread about getting up in the morning. No fear of getting on the wrong side of his father. No longer did he have to put up with the scars and wounds on a regular basis.
Kairi still stood around at the corner.
"Idiot! Why did I say about a date?! He'd going to think you're a right weirdo!" She muttered to herself quietly as she rubbed her hands down her face. Kairi soon appeared a little while after Vanitas did and slowly walked up the corridor just a little bit behind him. He joined his friends and gave Kairi a smile. Kairi blushed at him and quickly looked away as he left for the cafeteria to meet everyone else.
'Why am I feeling this way dammit?! I can't feel this way! Not about you! I just can't!" Kairi thought.
Namine rushed to her and so did Olette who had arrived when Kairi was speaking with Vanitas.
"What happened?!" Asked Namne frantically.
"What did he ask you!?" Asked Olette in the same manner.
"Are you two going on a date or something!?"
"Tell us dammit!" They both squealed impatiently.
Looking like they were both going to explode, they waited for Kairi to answer their questions. Kairi smiled to herself as she thought about him. She felt alive when she was with him. More alive than she'd ever felt. But then her smile slowly changed into a frown.
"Kairi?" Olette said softly. "What's wrong?"
"Girls...can I ask you two something?" She whispered quietly.
"Yeah? Of course" Namine answered. Kairi looked on up at her two friends.
"Is it...wrong to...to fall in love with...your ex-boyfriends brother?" She whimpered.
"Well I guess it depends on the circumsta-" Namine paused as looked at Olette in question if she heard right. Olette stared back at her as if she was asking her the same thing.
"What?!" They both yelled in shock. Kairi dipped her head and sighed.
"Woah woah woah hold up Kairi! You're not talking about a certain boy with black spikes are you?" Olette muttered to her quietly so nobody else in the corridors could overhear their coversation.
Kairi stood in silence and bit her lip. The silence said it all.
"Oh Kairi Kreiss! What are we going to do with you?!" Said Namine as she rubbed her temples. "I can't take much more drama. I may go insane" Namine moaned.
"What about Sora Kairi?" Olette asked. "Wouldn't it be weird?"
"That's just the thing Olette" Kairi whispered as she looked up. "I know deep down that I still love Sora. I guess I always will have feelings for him because he was my first proper relationship. Somehow...I've just...I've become attracted to his brother too...I know that's a bad thing...It's not right...is it?" she mumbled.
"Well...this is...difficult." Olette commented.
"Look Kairi. Lemme get this straight. You still love Sora. The guy who cheated on you and left you heartbroken, yet you have feelings for his brother too?" Namine said confused.
"That's pretty much it" Kairi sighed.
"Ugh. Too much to take in so early in the morning" Namine moaned as she rubbed her temples again.
"Come on, let's walk and talk" Olette said as she saw more students heading towards them and ushered the girls to move.
"So what are you going to do about this?" Namine asked.
"I don't know. I'm lost on what to do myself. My hearts telling me one thing and my head another. I'm so confused!" Kairi sighed as she rubbed a hand down her face in frustration.
"Well, whose the person who makes you the most happy? Surely your happiness comes first over what everyone else thinks?" Olette suggested.
"True, but I don't want to end up loosing my friends over it"
"Who say's your gonna loose your friends?" Namine smiled.
"Like, if I do maybe start something with Vanitas, if he feels the same way, what about Sora? It would hurt him and I'd never be able to forgive myself"
"EARTH TO KAIRI! That guy hurt you! He left you heartbroken and showed no remorse untill he realised what he did! You have every right in the world to hurt him right back!" Namine exclaimed making everyone in the corridor stare at the trio.
"That's the thing, I don't want to make it seem like I'm using Vanitas to get at Sora. I'm not that type of person guys and you know that" she sighed.
"Kairi, we know you're not like that. But Sora deserves everything he gets. I know it's been about 2 months since, but I feel no sympathy for him at all. He's a fool to have ever done something so stupid. The guys may have brushed it under the rug, but I for one haven't. I'd never forgive him even if he were the last person on this godforsaken planet" The blonde explained with an annoyed expression on her face. Kairi sighed a little. She still felt for Sora, but she also felt the same thing about Vanitas. She felt so confused it made her head hurt.
Just then the girls heard a boy calling their names. They looked on over to see a boy with dirty blonde hair waving at them.
"Hey Hayner!" Olette called back and ran back at him and cuddled him tightly. Hayner wasn't the only person there though. Kairi started to feel her heartbeat get harder and faster.
"Oh god..." she panicked. "I can't be here Namine"
"Just ignore him. If he steps out of line, I'll deal with him" Namine muttered glaring at Sora.
Sora had his hands in his pockets and stared at the floor. He couldn't bring himself to look at Kairi. He still felt incredibly guilty and quite emotional about it. He feared he'd just burst out crying if he caught another glimpse of her beautiful face. He tried his best to exclude himself from the conversation.
"Where you girls headed?" Hayner asked as he rested his arm around Olette's shoulders once they'd reached the girls.
"Uh, nowhere. Just hanging around you know!" Kairi smiled.
'Even hearing her voice is painful' Sora thought.
"Come to the cafeteria with us?" Hayne offered.
'Oh god. No!' The brunette and red head both thought.
"Sure!" Namine and Olette agreed.
'Great' They thought again.
Off they went towards their destination. Olette and Hayner lead the way, hand in hand, Namine walked beside Kairi, and Sora wondered at the back on his own.
"I wonder how long things will be like this" Kairi whispered to Namine. Namine shook the subject away.
"So what exactly did Vanitas ask you?" Namine asked. Sora looked up on hearing his brothers name and tried to listen in.
"He asked me if I wanted to go town Twilight Town with him" Kairi replied.
"What like a date?" she whispered.
"I don't know. He says it's not, but I don't know whether it is or not. I guess we'll just see how things turn out" she smiled. "I tried to be smug with him though, I felt so embaressed afterwards"
"Ha! Well be sure to let me know what happens" she muttered quitely.
"Namine. You'd know before I knew!" Kairi laughed. Namine just smiled at her best friend and carried on walking.
'Don't tell me he's trying it on with her...' Sora thought.

They soon arrived at the cafeteria. The aroma of the hall was inviting. Suprisingly, the college's food was quite nice. Compared to school's anyway. Scattered in random places around the hall were bright coloured plastic tables and chairs. Hayner noticed where the rest of the gang was and lead the group over to their table where Roxas, Vanitas, Axel, Riku, Zexion and Demyx were sat.
"Hey guys" Hayner greeted.
"Sup" "Hey" "Hiya" they all replied.
"Woah! Sora's back from the dead! How you doin' buddy?" Axel yelled in astonishment as he got up and noogied him, messing up his brunette spikes.
"Uh-Ax! Crushing me" he wheezed. Kairi made sure to sit as far away from Sora as possible, but staring at him in that position made her smile a little.
"Oh! Sorry man!" he apologized and let him go. Axel returned to his rightful seat and Sora sat down on his in silence.
"My mistake! Maybe he's still a bit dead in there" Axel joked. Sora glared his eyes up at him.
"Axel, leave the guy alone" Riku defended. "We've only just got him to come back completely. I'd rather not have to go through that again" he muttered.
'This is so awkward' Vanitas thought. He could feel the tension rising between Sora and Kairi. He wouldn't look at her and she was trying her best to avoid all contact with him.
"So when you guys getting back together then?" Axel asked carelessly.
"AXEL?!" The table yelled at him.
"What? I just think this whole thing is stupid. Just kiss and make up already so we can get on with our lives."
Kairi wanted the ground to swallow her up. Sora just lead his head on the table with no answer.
"We're never getting back together Axel! Not after what he did!" she muttered angrilly. Namine could feel her friend becoming uncomfortable.
"Calm down" she muttered to her.
Roxas got up and pinched hold of Axel's ear.
"Owww!"
"Excuse me guys, we'll be right back!" he smiled as he dragged Axel away.
"What are you thinking?! Are you nuts?!" the group heard Roxas ask Axel in annoyance.
The table was filled with an awkward silence. After a moment or two, Sora spoke up.
"You can't just let it go can you..." Sora spat. Kairi lifted her head.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me! Why can't you just let this go Kairi!? It was one stupid mistake! You were able to forgive Xion easily but not me!" he spat again as he stood up glaring at Kairi.
"Sora! That's enough!" Vanitas interveined and put an arm on his shoulder.
"Don't you even touch me!" he bellowed as he refused Vanitas arm instantly. "I know about you and her! Getting all snug on the sofa a few days after we broke up! Spending all this time together since I was out of the picture! You used this to your advantage. You used her to get at me! Well well done! You've got what you wanted! Kairi, you wanted me to feel that pain you felt, well...now I guess I can say I've had it much more than you"
"Sora! Stop it!" Riku yelled at him.
"Yeah! Come on this isn't helping anyone!" Demyx yelled too.
"NO!" He roared back at them. "I'm sick of it being one rule for one and one rule for everyone else. How do I know you weren't going off behind my back and sleeping with my brother?! HUH?!" He screamed as he turned his head and faced Kairi who was full of fear right now.
"Don't you dare speak to her like that!" Vanitas growled at him. "Who do you think you are!?" Namine screeched at him.
"This doesn't concern you Namine so I suggest you keep your mouth shut!"
"HEY! NOW THAT IS ENOUGH!" Riku yelled at him. "FOR CRYING OUT LOUD SORA!" Vanitas shouted. "WHAT HAS GOTTEN IN TO YOU?!" Hayner yelled.
"I can't deal with this anymore. I need some air!" Kairi muttered as she uped from the table and began to leave. Namine and Olette followed.
"Ah look running at the first sign of trouble as per usual" Sora spat. "Just like Kairi".
Kairi stopped in her tracks. She saw the entire cafeteria staring at them.
"Will you give it a rest?! You're making a scene!" Vanitas muttered to him.
"You know I would never do something like that Sora Strife. I'm not that kind of person." Kairi turned to face Sora. "But you know what? Now...I really wish I did!" She laughed. "Because now I know what kind of a person you are! You aren't the Sora I grew up with! You're horrible!"
Sora got right up in her face. Kairi's heart began pounding out of he chest.
"Shame, I bet you couldn't though. Knowing you, you probably wouldn't be able to put out anyway!"
Kairi's hand slapped Sora's cheek quickly and loudly.
"WOAH! BITCHSLAP!" A student yelled.
Sora held his head in the position the slap sent him.
"Don't you ever come near me again!" She cried then left without another word. Small sobs could be heard from her as Namine and Olette tried comforting her.
The entire hall watched the three girls leave in silence, then turned their gaze back to the boys.
"You really are something else aren't you" Vanitas muttered.
"Oh you're starting now are you?" Sora yelled and turned to face him.
"Yeah! As a matter of fact I am!" Vanitas yelled back as the two brothers got in eachothers faces. "I guess my good for nothing father was right about something. I wouldn't be the one to fuck up my entire life."
"I'm warning you Van, don't push your luck!"
"Or what?! HUH?!" Vanitas yelled as he shoved Sora's body. Sora came flying back and shoved him like Vanitas did to him.
"Woah! Stop it!" Riku yelled as he, Hayner, Zexion and Demyx went in to stop the fight from erupting.
"You really wanna go there Vanitas?! Because I'm not in the mood!" Sora growled.
"You never did deserve a girl like Kairi! She's an amasing girl, and you were too busy chasing others" he smirked. He saw that this was winding Sora up more.
"Stop antagonizing him!" Riku yelled.
"Dad always said you were the weak one. That's probably why he chose me to live with him and not you! Because I tell you Sora! You wouldn't have been able live with what I went through!" Vanitas spat.
"Will ya stop?!" Demyx intervened. Sora looked away from his brother. If he didn't, he would pounce on his like a lion on his prey.
"That's not true! Dad wouldn't say that!"
"Oh come off it Sora! We both know why it ended between him and mum! I guess you just followed in his footsteps"
"That's it!" he roared and lunged himself towards Vanitas taking him down to the floor with an almighty thud. Sora punched Vanitas square in the face several times. A huge crowd surrounded the boys and started chanting.
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Vanitas was able to kick Sora off him and quickly get to his feet.
"Come on Van! Get him!" Someone shouted from the crowd.
"Sora! Come on!" Someone else shouted. Sora quickly scrambled to his feet. The brothers stood opposite eachother. Sending a death glare towards one another and circling eachother. Sora lunged himself forward again fist at the ready. Vanitas grunted in pain as Sora's fist hit his face, cutting his lip a little. Sora went to hit again but Vanitas blocked him quickly, punched him in the nose and kicked him in the stomach winding him which sent him to the floor. Vanitas was just about to do more damage when a few teachers grabbed the boys and held them back frmo eachother. A few more came running in blowing their whistles and yelling.
"ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT THAT IS ENOUGH! ALL OF YOU BACK TO YOUR CLASSROOMS NOW!" He roared. He then sent his sights to the two brothers.
"You two! Principles office, NOW!"

Kairi had already made it outside before the fight began. She held her hands over her eyes as she wept as Olette and Namine sat beside her trying their best to comfort her.
"Why can't I just forget him!" she sobbed quietly.
"Because you still love him don't you..." Namine said. Kairi removed her hands from her eyes and wiped them.
"No...right now I just...I hate him! How dare he say those things! How dare he even speak to you like that!"
"Kairi it's alright. Seriously"
"No it's not! I'm sick of the way he treats people!"
"What are you going to do?" Olette asked. Kairi thought for a moment as both girls waited paciently for an answer.
"Nothing" Kairi simply answered. Namine and Olette looked at eachother in confusion.
"Nothing?" they asked.
"Yup" Kairi took a deep breath in and dried her eyes. "If he see's that me not having him in my life really doesn't bother me, then he'll get bored and move on. At least I hope he will."
"What about Vanitas? Isn't that going to just get Sora's attention more?" Olette questioned.
"If I'm honest, it really has nothing to do with Sora. We're over for good and that's the end of it. Just because he's there, it doesn't mean I can't be happy right?"
"Kairi, you're talking crazy talk" Namine said as she rubbed a hand over her face in frustration.
"Nope. I think for the first time I'm actually talking some sense. I'm not going to be the pushover anymore. What he said to me really hurt me. If that's how he wants to play things then so be it" She said darkly. "I really don't care"
