They laid next to each other for a few more minutes, silent on Axel's bed. But there was a queasy feeling growing in Roxas' stomach, and the longer he held still the more apparent the sickening feeling became. Shifting his weight he laid on his back- he hoped it would ease away the feeling, and it did, for a few seconds. "So…" the blond pushed out, the room's temperature was rising as sweat felt like it was beading on his forehead- he felt like he was going to vomit his brains out and he had no idea why. "Do you… are we dating?" he raised his eye brow as he looked at Axel.

Smirking, the redhead let a soft chuckle leave his lips; "If you want us to…" it was a silent question and the blond only turned his head away and looked up at the ceiling, unsure of how to answer. On one hand he knew he might not be the best for Axel and if his own emotions became too much for him then Axel would be in just as bad as shape, but then again, he did like Axel.

With a deep breath he closed his eyes, trying to push away the sickening feeling continuing to rise in his stomach, "I think…" he started, "I know…" he bit his lip, "That I like you…" pausing again he faced the redhead, nervousness replaced by complete seriousness. "I don't want to be a fling; I don't want to be someone that you're with because of a moment of interest. If we are together," swallowing the lump in his throat, his voice became hush, "I want us to last… and not end…"

That had always been another reason for Roxas' lack of a relationship, because aside from his fucked up life he didn't want a quick date. He wanted something that would last him his lifetime- both, of their lifetimes. And he could honestly see himself with Axel for the rest of his life- actually; Roxas couldn't see his life any other way…

Rolling onto his stomach he tried to shake away from the discomfort he was feeling.

The redhead was slowly shaking his head as he spoke, "I don't want us to end either Roxy…" the blond pressed his face into the bed; dating was a big step for him. Because it meant his future was starting- he'd no longer be able to get away with his piece of shit of a life. He needed to try and succeed so he could get somewhere- anywhere away with Axel.

If he was going to be in a relationship there was no way in hell he was going to cheat during it- which would mean he'd have to steer clear of Saïx. Which was a whole other problem in itself- the blue haired man wouldn't take kindly nor allowed Roxas to drop from the blue haired man's life. Before he could continue to think about it he felt a hand on his back, "You okay Roxy?" the concerned Axel asked, rubbing the blond's back, he'd seen the boy's face become shiny with sweat and then he noticed how much the boy was shaking. The blond quickly nodded his head in the bed, but he fooled neither of them.

"My stomach just hurts…" he replied, he had no idea what would make his body hurt the way it was but he didn't like it. He felt restless and like he was going to shake till he blew up, his guts and sinew covering the walls. Axel tried to think of something it could be and decided to base it off the rain.

"Maybe you're getting sick from the rain?" the blond thought about it and slowly nodded his head.

"Maybe that's it…"

"Here," the redhead sat up and maneuvered the pillows back to the way they were supposed to be before giving the pillow a pat. "Try to take another nap…" the blond rotated like Axel had and rested his head on Axel's pillow, both of them switching sides on the bed. After a few seconds the redhead spoke again, "How do you feel?"

Grunting as he shrugged Roxas took a calm breath, "Ax…" he rolled over to face the redhead but because of how close the redhead had been- instead Roxas came face to face with his chest. "I like you…" he mumbled under his breath, finding looking at his chest a lot easier in admitting his crush rather than straight to his face. Even though he couldn't see it Axel smiled nonetheless, "But… I just… I don't know …" his brows furrowed as he tried to piece together his feelings to express with words, he didn't know what he didn't know- but he wasn't ready to jump into a relationship till he could figure it out.

"Roxas…" the blond looked up at him, "The only difference between us dating and not dating is I couldn't get away with doing this," he quickly leaned down and pressed his lips against the blond's, giving a quick and simple kiss. A blush instantly spread across the younger's cheeks, "I'll still feel the same… and I'll still be here for you…"

Taking a deep breath the blond waited a few minutes before finally coming to a decision.

"Yes," he finally concluded, "I want to be with you…"

"But…" the redhead could tell by his voice that there was something bothering the blond.

"But…" the blond filled in, "I can't… just jump into a relationship… it'd have to be slow, you know?" slowly Axel nodded his head, he could only understand a little bit because he only knew a little bit. The main reason he was afraid of a relationship was for the simple fact that he was afraid Saïx had mentally scarred him and he'd never be able to completely care for Axel like he should.

"Of course…" the redhead said slowly as he wrapped his arms around the blond, said teen curled to his chest like a child would and Axel could only cover them and hold him tighter. Slowly they both fell asleep, Axel rubbing circles on the blond's back as the blond continued to slightly shake and sweat.

Axel had meant to stay awake- meant to keep an eye on the blond, but he was just too tired it seemed. Opening his eyes he saw the blond lying awkwardly with his whole body curled up into a tight ball, "Roxy?" he sat up and watched the blond shake viciously, his body jerking in every direction as he continued to sweat with his teeth clenched and his eyes squeezed shut. Roxas was in complete pain but he couldn't understand why. The blond didn't answer so Axel said his name again.

And again he received no response, sitting up he pulled the blond over to him, "What's wrong?" he wrapped his arms around the blond and Roxas just leaned into his hold as he shook his head. He had no idea what was wrong with him, but after a few minutes of Axel holding and rocking him he fell into a deep sleep. Staring at the boy Axel continued to rock, he had no idea what to do- he decided if Roxas wasn't at least a little better when he woke up then he was taking him to the hospital.

Placing Roxas on the bed he covered him up before moving the bathroom, getting the water as hot as he could before he drenched a rag in it and returned to press it against Roxas' forehead. As soon as he did the blond rolled onto his side and Axel just smirked, picking the wet rag off of the pillow and placing it back on the boy's head- at a strange angle. Again Axel fell asleep next to Roxas when he had meant to stay awake, and again the boy's shaking woke him up.

Except this time the boy's shaking was intentional, he had his hand placed on the man's shoulder as he continued to try and breathe easy. After his nap he actually felt a lot better- he decided to blame it solely on the rain. "Axel?" he questioned softly and slowly he saw one green eye open before the other shortly followed. "I have to get going soon…" he whispered sadly, he looked over to see it was starting to get dark again and he hadn't been back to the house in quite some time.

Not that Cloud cared, but Roxas wanted to think the man did. The redhead sat up and placed his feet on the floor before taking a deep breath, "Why?" he asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"Because I haven't been to the house in a while…"

"So?" the redhead questioned, turning around he clarified what he meant. "Cloud's not going to care, neither is your father, so why do you want to go back?" at his words the blond looked down and slowly Axel rolled his eyes- but not out of annoyance. "Roxy…" he looked back to find the blond still looking down. When he reached out to touch the boy he moved away and stood up, finding his shoes. "Roxy don't go," he stood up and tried to reach out for the blond again but that didn't stop him. What did stop him was when he tried to open the door and Axel pushed his hand against it and slammed it shut.

The blond was angry, he couldn't place exactly where his anger was coming from but he just knew he wasn't exactly happy with Axel at the moment. He knew Cloud and his father didn't care about him but that didn't mean Axel had to point it out. "Roxy, wait, I'm sorry," the redhead started but Roxas cut him off.

"For what?" he spat out in a hushed voice, and Axel forced himself to take another deep breath.

"I shouldn't have said that."

"Why? It's true, isn't it?" the redhead placed a hand on the boy's shoulder and pulled him back from the door.

"Just because it's true doesn't make it okay..." Axel realized it was the probably one of the most perfect times he had to ask, "I've been trying to ask you a question actually…" he looked at Roxas' eyes before continuing, "I was wondering if you would move in with me… here…" there was a pause before Roxas slowly tipped his head sideways and raised an eyebrow.

"You… you want me to move in with you?" the blond had no idea why Axel suddenly wanted Roxas with him but all Roxas could think of it was because they were now in a relationship- and if that was the reason then it was a very fast paced relationship.

"Yeah… I mean…" he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, pausing before he began speaking, "We've been fine when you spend the night… and well… I worry when you go back to Cloud's… I know you'll be safe here- away from your father." He looked back up at Roxas to find the boy looking down, thinking.

"You want me to move in with you?" he asked again- the only person who ever wanted him to move in with them was Tifa. For a second Roxas felt wanted- but then worry and concern took over. His father always found him and if he found him this time around then Roxas wouldn't be the only one to get hurt- Axel would be too. But was Axel's house far enough from Saïx and his father? Was it far enough away where he wouldn't have to worry about seeing them ever again, or at least for a long enough time to fix the damage they'd done to him?

"Yes…" Axel watched the teen's face and tried to read what he was thinking, but the way the blond's face kept changing he just couldn't tell. "You don't have to if you don't want to…" he quickly added in.

"No I…" he cut himself off, "I do…" he said questionably, looking up at Axel. "But… why?" biting his lip he paused before continuing, "Why do you want me to?" his voice was quiet still and Axel was a little shocked at his question.

"Uh, well…" he took a deep breath, "Well… I actually got this place because of you…" there was a light blush that spread across his face but he continued so Roxas couldn't comment on it. "You said you wanted to leave and I know what it's like… you know? I left when I was a kid, but I didn't have anyone that would be looking for me or anyone I had to steer clear of. You do, so I figured I'd help and give you somewhere to stay…" Roxas' face looked a little guilty so at a quickened pace Axel blurted, "I mean, I had to get a place anyways- living in my car was starting to suck… but I figured this was the best time to do anything about it…"

When Roxas continued to look upset about something Axel questioned it, "What's wrong?"

He quickly shook his head, "Umm nothing, I'm just still a bit off…" Axel could tell- he still looked pale and like he was going to collapse at any second. "Are you sure you'd be okay with me staying here?" this was everything Roxas had wanted, so he pushed away the small little worry in the back of his mind. He wanted a way out of his life and he loved the idea of spending more time with Axel- especially the Axel part.

Axel nodded his head, "Yeah… we can go get your stuff when you ask… do you think Cloud would have a problem with it?" he knew better than to point out the obvious a second time in just a few minutes. The teen shook his head.

"I don't think he'll care…" the redhead smiled and grabbed his shoes while Roxas stood by the door, once his boots were tied he grabbed his keys and out they went. The roads were still wet but the rain had stopped long ago it seemed, they drove in silence and it wasn't till they neared the house that Roxas spoke. "I'll go in and ask… okay?" he looked at Axel and hesitantly the man nodded his head. They parked out front and Roxas spoke as he climbed out, "It shouldn't take me that long…"

Pausing for a second in front of the door he took a deep breath, he honestly didn't know how Cloud would react but he hoped that whichever way he did act that he would at least allow Roxas to move in with Axel. Pushing open the door he quickly walked inside, but once the door shut he froze, not only was Cloud sitting on the couch but his father was standing right in front of him- he never saw his car out front…

Walking around both men he decided he wasn't going to bother asking, he went straight to his room and grabbed out the bag Saïx had given him, he peeled it open and brought it to the bathroom, shoving clothes and medical things inside- everything that was his. Once everything in the bathroom was backed Roxas sat his bag down and stared at his bed for a moment, he had no idea what to do with the money- it wasn't his, he quickly emptied out his bag, making sure that the only thing still inside was the drugs Saïx had given him. Walking out of the room he looked at his father and Cloud- both of whom were looking at him.

"I'm moving out…" he said sternly as he walked to the kitchen and found a plastic bag for his stuff, as he walked back through he found Cloud turned on the couch to look at him.

"What?" the older blond asked and Roxas quickly repeated himself.

"I'm moving out… I'm going somewhere else…" he tried to walk back to his room but his father grabbed hold of his upper arm.

"No the hell you're not?" he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh yes," he yanked his arm out of his father's hold, "I am." He turned to face his father and watched as the frown on the man's face became heavier. "Why the hell do you care? You're not even supposed to be around me!" he shouted at him before he turned to Cloud, "And you aren't supposed to be wasted out of your mind every second." He turned back to his father, "I'm moving out and there and shit you can do about it." his anger was back and Axel wasn't around to try to calm him down.

Instead his anger bounced off of him and throughout the room, allowing everyone else to be pissed off. His father grabbed the front of his shirt and yanked him towards him, this was the first time Roxas really realized he was still wearing a short sleeved shirt- but it wasn't really the time to care. "Cloud hasn't drunk anything for a few days- so don't fucking start trying to blame your problems on him!" it didn't come off as strange to Roxas- what his father said.

Because in moments like this where Roxas started shouting at Cloud- his father always stood up for the older blond and it was in moments like this where Roxas questioned everything he thought he knew. Pushing the man away Roxas replied with the same tone, "You're right- I should just blame my problems on you!" he shoved the man again, "Stay the fuck away from me," he turned to Cloud, "I'm moving out…"

"Roxas," the older blond started, "You can't…" he looked like he was actually sorry to say it. Roxas' eyes widened as he started at the blond man, but his father quickly spoke again.

"You're not going anywhere," Sephiroth had the sickening smile on his face again, but it only appeared right after Cloud had spoken and Roxas had no idea what to say- so he responded like he would to anyone else. With anger and a whole lot of cussing.

"I don't fucking care what you say!" he shouted at his father, "Since when am I supposed to give a shit about you? You don't care about me- so fuck off!" he shoved the man back, "I am leaving- so just stay the hell away from me," he tried to turn and walk back into his room but his father grabbed him by his hair and yanked him back. Cloud instantly stood up on the couch and watched with wide eyes and a quickening heart rate.

Roxas' hands shot up to try and pry his father's hands off the back of his head but after a few seconds his father let go anyways- pushing Roxas forward in hopes that he would fall. But Roxas caught himself. Quickly Roxas turned around and even quicker- without thinking- he brought his fist up and punched the man. His father's nose made a small cracking noise as blood dripped down, the man taking a step back as his vision blurred.

The teen's fist was stuck in the air it seemed, his eyes widened as his heart rate froze, he watched in awe as his father took the blow, and when his father wiped the blood on the back of his hand to inspect it Roxas felt his heart beat return. Quickly turning around Roxas tried to slam his door, his father was going to kill him now, he tried to make it to the window, he could run around and get back in the car with Axel, his body was shaking even more but before he could actually even completely turn around he was grabbed by his hair yet again.

His father was beyond pissed, yanking Roxas back he pulled so hard the blond wouldn't be able to keep his balance, instantly Roxas fell on his ass. He tried to turn, to roll over and run away- his mind in a flight mode- but his father quickly kicked him. The blond continued moving though, adrenaline causing him to feel almost none of the blow as he was sent towards the couch, he managed to get to his feet but before his hands could leave the ground his father grabbed him by the throat and pushed him over the couch. Squeezing the blond's throat tightly as he bent the small boy over the back of the couch, causing a pain in his spine as if Roxas' bones were going to break.

The blond's hands grabbed and clawed at the hands around his throat but he couldn't get a grip- he couldn't get the man's hands off of him. His vision was becoming sketchy as pressure built up in his face and head, he continued to try and swallow- in hopes of pushing the man's hands off that way- but he couldn't, he scratched at the man's arms but the man was moving. Fading black he tried to shout, tried to make noise but nothing came out.

And then something slammed against the side of his body, he fought with his eyes to stay open but it was difficult, he saw his father's boots and pants and another set- Cloud's- in his vision. Once he realized he was on the floor he tried to stand up, keeping his eyes open was becoming easier- the same went for his breathing, but his balance was off. Out of his memory of the lay out of the house he tried to stand up and make it to the door, but when he heard a thump behind him he was thrown off whatever balance he had managed to find.

Being turned around he saw a flash of silver before his vision went black when a strong pressure struck the side of his face, he could no longer tell if his eyes were open or if they were shut but he didn't bother trying to figure it out. Instead he tried to get up, to push the weight on him off and to get away. Pushing blindly he couldn't tell what he was actually pushing against, his ears were ringing- the shouting and the grunting had become background noise to him as he felt like he was going to fade into a sleep- pressures continued to land against him and soon it was like his body couldn't even respond, instead of continuing to try and push at thin air his hands met air over and over again.

There was another slam but Roxas didn't feel anything related to it, and then he felt another pressure, except this one much harder than the last ones and that was it. Roxas couldn't feel anything anymore. Warm liquid covered his face but he couldn't even realize enough to understand that it was blood, his body felt like it was being pressurized and he was about to be crushed, but all he could do was lay there and begin to fall asleep.

Axel sat in the car, tapping his thumb on the steering wheel as he waited for the blond to reemerge from the house, but more timed passed and with every second he was getting more and more concerned. There was no reason it should've been taking Roxas that long at all. And then he heard it- he heard the shouting coming from inside and without even taking his keys out of the car he ran into the house, finding Cloud standing up against Roxas' door frame as Sephiroth stood above a still Roxas. Roxas' face was covered in blood, Axel's eyes widened as he tried to see if Roxas was breathing but he couldn't from his distance.

And then Sephiroth raised his foot and stomped on Roxas' chest. The blond barely responded and without a second thought Axel ran straight for the silver haired man and shoved him away, causing him to crash into the far wall and the coffee table at the end of the couch- almost falling but trying to keep his balance. "Roxas!" the redhead shouted, going around the blond to gently shake him, when the blond didn't move he tapped his blood covered cheek and continued to say his name. "Roxas- Roxas, wake up, come on, wake up," he repeated.

But the blond still wasn't moving, he looked up to see Sephiroth regaining his balance but before he could stand up from his spot Cloud jumped over the back of the couch and landed a punch to Sephiroth's face, knocking the man off balance again. Slipping his hands under Roxas' shoulders and knees he picked up the boy, not caring to listen to what Cloud was shouting at the man or what the man was shouting back. Instead he ran out of the house as fast as he could, his eyes staring at the ground as he tried to run while carrying the blond.

He didn't even bother to open any other doors, his driver's side door had never been shut so he ran straight for it, climbing in with the blond still on his lap he slammed his door, careful of the blond's head and quickly drove off. Not sparing a second to look back at the house, he drove as quickly as he could- only briefly paying attention to road sign's and other drivers. The blond's head was pressed against his shoulder and neck and after a few seconds Axel could feel the shallow breaths leaving the blond, at least that's what he hoped it was- because the way it felt like the blond was breathing seemed almost impossible to survive off of. But at least the blond would be breathing, right?

Parking right out front of the hospital he awkwardly used his hand to take his keys and to open the door, kicking it open the rest of the way as he climbed out of the car, kicking the door shut as he ran towards the front door that was only a few feet away. A nurse on a cigarette break quickly opened the door for him and while one of the nurses called for a gurney Axel continued to run further into the hospital, meeting the nurses faster than if he just waited for them, he placed the blond on the bed and they quickly began running him down the hallway, in all this time it was like Axel forgot to breath.

"What happened?" he finally heard someone ask.

"A fight," he stuttered out, watching as they continued to roll him through double doors while the nurse that had held the door open for him held him back. He tried to ask for the man to let go of him but Axel could barely remember how to breathe- let alone speak properly.

"You can't go back there," the nurse told him, walking him away from the door and taking him to what looked like a hospital room from the outside, but inside it was just a bunch of chairs, some plants, and a big TV. "Sir," the nurse said again, but Axel was hearing it for the first time. "Take a seat, please- I have to ask you some questions about your friend." The nurse's eyes were wide as if he was feeling everything that Axel was.

"Just ask," Axel finally spat out as he quickly began pacing the room.

"What's the boy's name?"

"Roxas,"

"Last name?" the nurse asked as he began filling out a sheet, the redhead just shook his head- he'd never bothered to ask Roxas' last name. "That's alright, how old is he?"

"17- er, uh 16," he shook his head as he tried to correct himself.

"Is he allergic to anything?"

"No," he quickly said but then paused, "Not that I know of…"

"Alright," the nurse paused to fill out the sheet more, "Now, can you tell me what happened to him?"

Axel paused from his pacing to think, he didn't know what to say- he knew what actually happened, but he didn't know what the blond wanted him to say to the authorities. "Someone attacked him."

"Can you tell me who, and where?"

"No," he quickly shot out, "Just, let me see him," he tried to walk out the doors but the nurse stopped him.

"I'm sorry, you can't," he stood in front of Axel. "He's going through tests to see if there is damage and where the damage is," placing his hands up he tried to calm Axel down by speaking clearly. "You will be told when he is stabilized and a doctor will come by to explain everything to you… right now the doctors and the nurses have to be able to do their job and another body in the room will just get in the way." His reasoning caused Axel to take a deep breath.

"I don't- I just want to be able to see him," he quickly said, trying to walk passed the nurse.

"I know, I know you do, but right now we need you to stay here and let us do our jobs," he could tell that wasn't helping the redhead very much. "I can come by every few minutes and tell you what's going on with him… alright?"

Taking a deep breath Axel shook his head; "No… just… worry about him…" the nurse nodded and said a doctor would be around to talk to him later. And all Axel could do was continue to pace and try to keep his head straight, he had no idea what was going on back at Cloud's house- after this there was no question about Roxas living with him- but he knew Cloud was a grown ass man and could handle it himself. Running his hands through his hair he continued to pace, it wasn't till after what felt like hours did he sit on the window sill and look outside, he looked at the door before looking back outside.

He didn't want to miss the doctor but he knew he had to move his car somewhere that wasn't blocking the front entrance. Practically running through the halls to outside- he quickly drove his car into a nearby parking slot and just as quickly went back to the room. Hoping he hadn't missed the doctor. Once inside the waiting room again he saw a face he really didn't want to.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he spat out.

Cloud sat in the far corner of the room, his knuckles covered in dried blood and gashes, he looked up at Axel. "He's my ward," the blond said slowly.

Axel wanted to attack the man but refrained, he saw the bloody knuckles and the bruises to the man's face, "So where'd Sephiroth go?" there was an edge in his voice, even though he knew Cloud helped Roxas- a least a little bit- he was still pissed off at the blond, and especially the silver haired man he'd just mentioned.

"Far away most likely… the thought of possibly having killed his only son is driving him crazy."

Axel scoffed, "Yeah, crazy," his voice became louder, "If it was driving him crazy then he'd be here!" he jabbed at the floor, "He'd be in here losing his mind while doctors try to piece Roxy together down the fucking hallway," he pointed to the side even though he had no actual idea where they were trying to help the blond. "No, it's not fucking driving him crazy," he was cut off by the man.

"You have no idea what kind of man Sephiroth is," he said in a stern voice, "You don't know how he feels for Roxas in anyway," Axel gritted his teeth- wanting to shout back but Cloud continued talking. "Roxas knows how his father feels for him, that his father does actually care; he's seen his father care for him most of his life. But his father is an addict." The redhead waited for the blond to continue this time around. "Sephiroth can't get his priorities straight until it's too late. He cares about his son- he's been with him almost every step of his life, Sephiroth may have changed as a person but he still loves his son."

"Yeah right," the redhead finally added in, not for a second believing that Cloud was telling the truth. Cloud stood up and walked towards Axel, grabbing his elbow and turning his arm around so he could see the inside of his arm.

"You were an addict once too- you probably didn't care about anything, not even yourself. Does that mean your feelings for the people around you changed?" the redhead yanked his arm out of the man's grasp and took a step back. "Roxas knows this…" he took a deep breath as he returned to his seat, "He just hates admitting to himself that the person who's loved him his whole life would turn around and hurt him like this… it's easier on him to say his father hates him…"

Axel stood still, his head downwards as he looked off to the side. Cloud's words were true, but it's not like it was a secret. He had small scars on the inside of his arm from where he used to shoot up- but even more so Cloud had been right about Axel's cares and hates. Even when all Axel could think about was shooting up again, he still hated his mother and he still wished he and Demyx never got into that fight like they did. He still cared about his blond haired friend even though the thought slipped his mind more than once when he was still addicted.

Slowly he moved backward and took a seat, staring at the body of the blond in front of him as Cloud looked out the window with sad eyes. It was still strange, seeing Cloud sober for a change, but it was also depressing. Everything was going worse for the young blond so it must not be too far off for the older one- he not only had to deal with Sephiroth just the same but he also had to deal with his past and his loneliness.

Axel prayed that Roxas made it out okay.

Hours passed and while Axel's heart rate slowed and his body relaxed, his mind was still hectic with wondering if Roxas would be okay. He looked over at Cloud, "Roxas asked you if he could move in with me?" he finally spoke, breaking their hours of silence. The older blond looked over at him.

"He told me he was moving out, not that he was moving in with you."

"And what did you tell him?" Cloud raised an eyebrow at Axel and Axel just shook his head, "Actually, I really don't care what you told him- I'm not letting him go back to your house." He said bluntly, "I'm not letting his father anywhere near him and I'm sure as hell not letting Sephiroth know where he is."

Cloud took a deep breath, "I don't think it's going to be as easy as you think it is…" he said slowly and it was Axel's turn to raise an eyebrow. "Whether Roxas wants to admit it or not, he still loves his father," he made eye contact with the younger one, "When Roxas is away from his father he feels alone… the longer he's away from his father the more apparent it is… Roxas grew up with his father being obsessed about him- not to mention he's terrified his father will one day leave him and never come back."

Slowly Axel nodded his head, he knew about Roxas' mom, but he didn't understand why Roxas would feel lonely without his father around. "To Roxas, Sephiroth is home. Even Roxas hardly realizes it… but throughout all his life his father's love and attention has remained with him, he needs contact with his father like his father needs drugs." Cloud flexed his hand, the dried blood pulling his skin and chipping in the process, "Roxas wants to be important to someone and his father is the only one who's shown he's willing to kill for him…"

"Roxas will be fine without his father," the redhead was cut off.

"When I first met Roxas he was put in a youth facility because his father made Roxas carry his drugs, Roxas refused to tell the truth- that they were his father's drugs. And even at this point his father used him to get said drugs and Roxas was used to his father abusing him, but Roxas still wanted to call his father after a certain amount of days. Roxas has his father's number memorized and his father never changes it for the simple fact that he knows no matter where Roxas goes or how much Roxas says he hates him, Roxas still loves his father- even if it is only because he is his father."

Axel didn't entirely understand, he knew what Cloud was saying, but he didn't understand why Roxas would still care for his father after everything he put him through. The room returned to its quiet stillness and minutes passed, and then someone walked through the open door. A long white coat on and a clip board in hand, his expression was tired, but not bored, and it seemed as though he wasn't looking forward to the talk he was about to have.

"You're here for Roxas?"

I know it's been probably about a week since I last updated- sorry. I actually pretty much typed this entire chapter today though :o Writer's block hit me pretty hard in the beginning of the chapter and no... it just... no... wasn't working out.

Anyways- thanks for the reviews :3 I'm actually taking Creative Writing as a class this year (and since I need the credit and can't drop it like I did a few yeas ago) I had to talk with my teacher. I explained that I cannot stand my stories being read aloud- I can't even read them aloud when I'm by myself! So I asked if only she could read my stories and such and such happened and I told her I have a fanfiction account. That's why she wants us to read them out loud, so we can get feedback- and I already get that, right? I'm hoping my fanfiction chapters will help me pass the class because otherwise I'm screwed. SO YEAH! I might be showing her your guy's reviews, if you're all okay with that, so yeah, please review :3

And uh... well yeah, school started if my paragraph above said nothing else xD it's pretty good I guess. I might not be able to update soon because we're taking a trip up to the Adirondacks for 2 nights and 3 days and I probably won't be able to take my laptop... or my phone... I don't want to go either way but apparently it's mandatory and my mother's already told them I was going. (which I'm not!... if i have my way...)
