Weddings and big news.

The day of the wedding arrive warm and sunny. A.J. was at the beach house early to get ready. Kensi was totally stressed out. She couldn't stand still and Michelle had to yell at her to get her to calm down so she could fix her hair. A.J. was the total opposite and stood at the window looking out at the water. She kept one hand on her stomach a small smile on her face.

Deeks and the guys were in one bedroom while the girls were in the master. Nell was running around between rooms making sure everyone had what they needed. At one point Deeks freaked out thinking Eric had lot the rings, which caused Eric to freak only to find the rings in his pocket where he put them half an hour before.

Callen was more nervous about the baby then the wedding. He had no idea how to be a dad. Sam kept telling him no one did until the kid was there, then it all would fall into place. The night before Callen had been up all night watching A.J. sleep and stroking her belly bump. It was hardly one at all but Callen could swear it felt different to him now.

Gibbs told him not to worry till the kid was here. Until then there was not much he could do except deal with the weird cravings at three am and the outbursts when A.J.'s pants no longer fit. Callen wasn't sure he wanted to deal with that. Sam laughed and he and Gibbs shared stories of their wives that just made Callen even more crazy.

Finally the time came and Hetty knocked on the door to tell the guys to get out on the sand. She waited till they went out then got the girls.

"All right ladies its show time."

Nell and Michelle were wearing light blue dresses for Kensi and Ziva and Abby were in dark blue for A.J. The guys were all in off white pants and shirts. Eric was best man for Deeks and Sam for Callen. Once everything was set the music started to play and Kensi walked out of the house first. Her mother walked her down the aisle to Deeks then took her seat.

Granger took his place next to A.J. and told her how proud he was of her. They still had a long way to go but with each day they got a bit closer. Once they reached the others he handed her over to Callen and took his seat next to Hetty.

They kept the ceremony simple and it went quickly. Soon they were exchanging rings and sharing their first kiss as husbands and wives.

As everyone sat down to eat Deeks stood and gave his speech. "When I first saw Kensi I knew she would change my life. She made me a better man, a better friend and a better cop. Without her I'd be lost or worse dead. Because of her I now have a family and a place where I belong." Deeks held his glass up to her. "I love you Fern and I always will."

Kensi was crying and swiped at a tear. She had planned on saying something but could only get out and I love you too before choking up. Everyone understood and smiled at them as they kissed.

Callen never bothered to write a speech. He simply stood and looked out at his friends. "Like Deeks my life has been changed by simply meeting a woman. I never wanted marriage or a family," he looked at A.J. "now I can't imagine my life without one." Callen looked back at his friends. "Oh and by the way we're expecting." Everyone lost it at that. A.J. shook her head as she had no idea he was going to announce things like that.

Everyone gave their congratulations and Abby couldn't sit still. She had to run up to A.J. and hug her. The rest of the day went smoothly and Kensi and Deeks left for their flight to Hawaii.

Gibbs stopped A.J. asking her if he could build her a crib. She accepted saying that was wonderful. She and Callen headed home as the others stayed to enjoy the night. Nell and Eric were in charge of clean up and taking care of the beach house.

On the drive home A.J. told Callen about the crib. He was touched that Gibbs would go to so much trouble. A.J. laughed and said for him it was nothing, and told him about all the boats he had built in his basement over the years. "We still have no idea how he got them out of there."

A.J. laughed as Callen picked her up once they got home and carried her into the house. He put her down next to the couch then went back to get the door. When he turned around he noticed A.J. looking at a box that was on the couch.

"Callen this wasn't here when we left this morning."

The box was white with a blue ribbon wrapped around it. Callen and A.J. had asked that instead of gifts a donation was made to a local children's charity.

"Don't touch it." Said Callen. He pulled out his phone and called Sam and Granger. Half hour later the men showed up along with Eric after dropping by the mission and grabbing an xray device. A.J. had changed out of her dress and was in jeans and a tank top now. Callen insisted she wait outside while they checked the box.

Eric scanned it while Granger and Sam checked the house out. Callen said nothing else had been moved except the photo of them that sat above the fire place. It had been moved as if someone had taken it down and looked at it.

Eric said there was nothing dangerous in the box. So Sam opened it. The box held a quilt. Callen took it out and opened it to make sure there was nothing hiding in the folds. He called A.J. in to see it. Eric picked up a card that had fallen out on to the floor. He read it then handed it to A.J.

"What does it say?" asked Sam.

"To my darling daughter on your wedding day." A.J. looked over at Granger.

"It's not from me."

"Then how the hell left it here?" asked Callen. "Your mom is dead." Callen just felt like someone was watching them as they stood in the living room.

Not many people knew where they lived, and all those people had been at the wedding.

"Eric take the card and box and see if you can get forensics to pull prints." Said Sam. Callen got him a garbage bag and they carefully put it all in the bag.

"This quilt looks so familiar." Said A.J. as she ran her fingers over the material. Granger offered to stay but Callen told them to go ahead and go home. They folded the quilt and left it on the couch.

"Go to sleep. I'll watch for anything." A.J. knew better than to argue. The baby was taking a lot out of her so she simply got changed into sleep pants and a tee then crawled into bed. As she drifted off she tried to remember where she had seen that quilt before.

Callen sat with his gun next to him the entire night and watched his wife sleep. He'd kill anyone who threatened his family. A.J. rolled over in her sleep and reached out for Callen. He brushed the hair out of her face then began to play with a strand.

Morning couldn't come fast enough.
