BELLA POV
We all gathered in the clearing.
The wolves stood off in the woods not to close to us but close enough.
Jacob,Seth,Brady,Leah,and Embry were in the midst of the vampires by the Denali's.
The Cullens were front and center along with myself.
we had a good strategy I could admit.
I looked to Maddie in Esme's arms.
She was upset and scared.
Carlisle kissed Maddison's cheek the other Cullens seemed all to be saying goodbye to their little sister.
Linsey too was hugging Anthony tight Dani and by her side with Adam.
Mia and Taylor close by Taylor holding Mia's hand.
I looked to the woods.
It was decided yesterday that once the battle started that Seth and Brady the youngest of the wolves would take Anthony and Maddie and run.
I had scene a lot of out comes of today I know what everyone wanted to happen and I was hoping I was strong enough to make the right decision today.
"The redcoats are coming, the redcoats are coming," Garrett muttered mysteriously to himself and then chuckled once. He slid one step closer to Kate.
Very quickly everyone looked to the trees to the far end of the clearing.
In blurs of black came a herd. My shoulders sagged a little as I realized we were out numbered.
"They did come," Vladimir whispered to Stefan.
"The wives," Stefan hissed back. "The entire guard. All of them together."
I looked to all the vampires in black I recognize some,Id come across over the years.
I sparked their memories.
"Bella." I looked to Edward as he smiled
"Your truly gifted Though I already knew that." Edward whispered for only me to hear from beside me.
I smiled. He was seeing in the memories I was giving back the things Id done for these vampirse or done in front of them.
What felt like hours was really just seconds.
"Aro old friend it's been ages." Carlisle spoke as he stepped forward.
"Fair words from you though seems missed placed as you stand with an army behind you." Aro spoke carefully as he waved as if pointing out the proof of his words.
"This is no army just witnesses as you have."
"Witnesses to what?" Caius hissed.
"You have come on the wrong premise their is no immortal child here." Edward stated.
"Don't make us as fools we see the child." Caius growled as he glared at Maddison and Esme.
"She is a hybrid." I interjected
"What?" Marcus looked on with a bit of interest in his dead eyes.
"She is part human part Vampire. She was born not bitten she has blood flowing in her veins a heart beat she can be in the sun she eats human food and blood." I explained.
"Impossible." Aro said
"It is not impossible." I stressed.
"Who are you? Is the child yours then?" Caius set his eyes on me questioning.
"Im Bella and I made it so Esme could have her." I answered truthfully.
"How did you get Esme to have a child?" Aro questioned.
"I used my gift." I stated
"Which is?" He insisted.
I kept silent.
"Their is no truth to anything she says." Caius hissed "We don't know how the child will turn out or what she will become?"
"I can speak to that. well My sons can." Daniel spoke up.
He and Linsey with the boys and Mia stepped out from the crowed.
"More of them." Aro looked to the boys and Mia.
"Esme wasn't the only one Id given the gift of motherhood too." I stated.
"My son Adam is over 50yrs old."
"I'm 58." Adam said.
"Is it just them." Aro looked to me.
"No these were the ones I had better contact with. I have done this." I stopped to think "20 or so times."
Their were a lot of gasps.
"They have lived among you and humans for years you just have not noticed. they are no harm as long as they are taught the right path and I never use my gift on those that couldn't show them the rules. Their are even some that are even older and were not brought into this world by me."
"Like Nahuel." Linsey said.
"Yes." I smiled and called "Nahuel."
A man and vampire stepped out of the woods. Mia had got to him though the phone she had given to him so they could keep in contact he trns in on every couple of weeks he had scene the messages and his aunt and him had come just to help us.
"Nahuel is over 150yrs old and his Aunt Huilen "
"Nahuel is the same but different."
"Different?"
"Nahuel I did not help create, his father is a vampire that likes to mate with humans to creature offspring. He thinks himself a scientist and wants to create a greater race. I found Nahuel and his Aunt 60 yrs ago. My gift is not to give vampire children its to make them more human." I then changed myself into my mask.
"Being able to be human Is my greatest gift."
"Show me." Aro extended his hand and took a step forward.
I started to walk forward, Edward came with me.
"I can go alone." I said as I kept walking.
"No." He said
I sighed.
Edward and I walked to Aro.
I stopped away from him just enough space that if I extend my arm he can take my hand.
I offered him my hand.
I saw it all every horrible thing he has done everyone he has killed the evil within him his desire to be all powerful rule over the vampires and humans.
"Nothing." He said looked to me confused.
"Oh right I'm a shield." I said I put my shield down just enough to show him what was needed but not everything..
"You edit." He growled
"I showed what was necessary to decision here and nothing else my life is mine." I said.
"They could be lies." He insisted.
"Believe what you want you always have." I shrugged.
"I beg your pardon." Caius was getting upset I had learned from Aros memories he had a short fuse and Aro himself was no better.
"I wish to met the child." Aro put his hand up at Caius.
I looked to Esme she gripped Maddison tighter.
Carlisle squeezed her shoulder but nodded his head.
They walked slowly forward.
Maddison was couriers.
she looked to Aro as they came to a stop in front of him.
Aro smiled to her.
She tilted her head to the side like trying to figure something out.
"Im Aro." Aro introduced as he held out his hand,
"Maddison." Maddison said slowly as she reached out her hand.
Aro soon started laughing and pulled away.
"Brother!" Caius hissed.
"A child." Aro said.
"Brother?" Marcus looked a bit more interested now.
"See Bella here is very gifted she made Carlisle Mate Esme human in a way so she could have a child. that's what she is, mind of a child a bit smarter then a human child yet still very young."
Aro smiled to her.
"Appearances can be deceiving." He said to her in a low threatening tone with a wide smile showing his teeth.
She gasped and his in Esme's neck.
This caused Emmett,Rosalie,Jasper,and Edward to took hold of Edwards shoulder.
Carlisle Edward, Esme with Maddison and I walked back to the group.
Esme put Maddison down.
"Mommy?" She looked to Esme with worry.
"I love you baby." Esme kissed her. Seth Came up beside them.
we all looked to the Volturi.
"Bring the informant!" Caius stepped forward as a big bulky vampire stepped forward with a slender blonde vampire with golden eyes from Tayna and Kate's memories I knew this to be their sister Irina.
She had scene Maddison and from fear of what had happened all those years ago with her mother she had gone to the Volturi without thought to protect her self and her sisters.
"Is this the child you saw?" Caius asked Irina.
Irina looked on with wide eyes as she saw he sisters standing with the Cullens and everyone that was around.
I tapped into Edwards gift I wanted to know what she thought.
'What have I done? why would they stand with them if she is an immortal child. The Cullens I should of known would never done such a thing I should of known. The child she looks so much like Esme and Carlisle and she has grown.'
"I asked you a question girl." Caius hissed and slapped Irina.
The D sisters growled Jacob took stance in front of Tanya and Garrett grabbed Kate's shoulders.
"Yes I believe but shes bigger." Irina said softly she was scared.
"Bigger?" Caius growled.
"It seems I was wrong." Irina now said louder and looked to Caius.
"You were wrong." Caius hissed then nodded to the two that held Irina tight Caius lifted his hand that held a lighter he through it at her.
"No!"
"Irina!"
The Deline sisters tried to get to her Jacob had transformed to hold Tayna down and Garrett held Kate though she had spread her gift around her body and was sending high electric currents through him he didnt let go.
I used my shield as to protect him.
He sighed in relife when I involved him in it.
"Its what they wanted so we would attack first.
"You were wrong, She missed informed us lead us out here on false pretenses." He hissed.
"Not completely." Aro interjected. though he was to late as Irina was gone.
I looked to the fire and ashes of where she once was.
they had burned her completely intact.
I tilted my head to the side then to the brothers.
"You see she might not be the Immortal children of old but still and immortal child. I threat a liability these these hybrids are not natural they are a threat to us who's to say they won't harm us or are way they are unknown and in this day and age with the humans getting smarter their weapons and technology things are changing are way of life is being threatened and these things are another threat they are not truly one of us they seem more human to me whos to say they wont help in a human revolt or even revolt against us. they are a threat to are way. They are unnatural and abomination that shouldn't be."
I growled as I crouched low.
"You are reaching as I've said they are just some of the children they have been living unknown to you and humans for hundreds of years. they are no threat they just need to be taught like any children." I said.
I knew this was his way to try and get everyone on his side to start to fear the kids. Make them think they are a lyability somthing that cant be trusted it will sway most. I just need to throw him off.
"I also have the same gift as you do Aro and I saw everything." I lowered my eyes.
"I have nothing to hide." Aro turned to glare at me.
"Really." I flashed my eyes to Marcus and then back to him.
Edward growled, he must of scene in Aro's head what I had.
"Enough." Aro growled.
"I will do this you let them go. You let Maddison live with her family and I will let you have me punish me for all I've done."
Growls and hisses came from the other side of the clearing.
"Bella no."
This caused Aro to step back.
He looked to his brothers then to me.
"Brothers let's consult."
Aro went to his brothers taking each of their hands
I walked to the Cullens I went to Maddie as she was in Esme's arms hugging her tight.
"Maddison?"
"Yes." She sniffed looking ready to cry.
"I never break a promise." I said.
"Kate if we make it I'd fallow you anywhere."
"Now he tells me." Kate huffed but smiled and took his hand.
"Look." I looked to were Benjamin was pointing he opened the ground.
A black fog was heading toward us I put up a shield to stop it from touching anyone.
"Not playing fair." I glared at the blonde boy.
"Its how they always do it the brothers speak and Alec uses his gift to keep them from running away."
I looked to Alec he looked frustrated.
"See the witch." vladimir laughed
"Its finally are time." Stephen chuckled.
Looking to Jane she glared at Vladimir.
I knew if my shield wasnt up I know her gift would have him to his knees I smirk and let my shield drop for a second.
Vladimir screamed.
I looked to Jane with wide innocent eyes as her eyes shot to me and I put my shield back up.
"Oops sorry I lost concentration." Then I winked at her.
"Bella." I looked to Edward he smirked at me.
I looked to him and he reached out his hand. I looked to it unsure.
EDWARD POV
I looked to Bella as she smirked at Jane.
I knew she purposely let her shield down to just get at Vladimir for calling Jane that name. I heard from Jane and Alec thoughts being called a witch really got to them it brought on bad memories I know Bella must of known that as well.
I loved her for it.
Love her?
I love her.
I love Bella i do that's what it is I love her.
I knew yes I knew it the moment we met the pull the first time she smiled.
It just finally become clear everything I've been feeling this pull in my chest.
I love Bella I wish to be by her side for her to stay with me.
Be with her forever.
