Hey guys I'm back! I'm so sorry for making you wait this long but here you go and update. I would like to thank everyone for their reviews, even if it was them begging me to update. Going to keep it short since I know most of you are dying to know what happens so:

Now on to the story. I do not own Teen Titans or any of its characters.

Jinx stood there in shock while Kid smirked down at her. He could tell what was running through her head. He was and he knew it. He gave her hand a small tug happy about the effect he left on her but not wanting her brain to go into over load. Best to let her digest it a little before I drop the big 'I love you' on her. He though chuckling then stopped short. I love you. Never in his whole life had he ever said that to anyone besides his family. He never really felt the emotion toward any girl he ever had dated, if that's what you could call his past relationships. Yah he wasn't the best with commitment, but with Jinx he could see it. He could see her in white walking toward him while he stands there with his breath stolen from her beauty. He could see her struggling while he gave her encouraging words as their child was brought into the world. He could see her trying to chase down their children and laughing in the process. He could see himself old and wrinkled sitting next to Jinx and smiling. He could see it all and it scared him. I need a bit of air too I guess. Kid thought shaking his head and speeding ahead to the houses but candy was far from his mind.

Jinx trudged along heaving her decently full bag of candy watching Kid Flash aka Wally West speed from house to house like a child on a sugar high…which he might now be on. Her head is still reeling from her epiphany earlier. Was Kid the one for her? Would he make her happy and content? She didn't know and frankly she didn't think she was willing to take a chance at it. That's because you're too scared to take the chance, a little voice said. No I'm not, Jinx thought defiantly. Yes you are, the little voice jeered, you're afraid you might actually care for Kid Flash for Wally West. Wally West, she thought, need to remember that. It'll be important information for the HIVE computer. That is if you go back…the little voice said. Of course I'm going back! Jinx thought angrily. Sure you are. Keep telling yourself that. The little voice said fading away. Jinx sighed and shook her head to clear it then looked up only to shake her head again as Kid points to yet another house pestering for her to come along. I swear if I have to say trick-or-treat to another person I'm going to kill someone. If its going to be the person giving me the candy, myself of Kid is still to be determined, but someone is going to die! Thankfully she was saved by her cell phone ringing, her personal cell phone. At first she was happy to be saved until she recognized the ringtone.

"What do you want Jason." Jinx exclaimed angrily, "I'm sorta busy right now not to mention in costume!"

"Aw Jen is it no longer to call my beloved girlfriend?" Red-X said mockingly.

"Ex-girlfriend." Jinx corrected narrowing her eyes and not noticing Kid Flash walking towards her, "You're a pathetic thief who loves to steal girls hearts not caring about the damage you do!"

"What's this! Is Jinx hurt! Are you becoming a softy!" Red said in mock surprise.

"It doesn't matter Red. Look I need to go I'm sorta busy." Jinx said finally noticing Kid who had a confused look on his face, "And if anyone is hurt it's you because I dumped you."

"Oh yah!" Red said, "I almost forgot you were on a date with Speedy Ginger."

"Haha." Jinx said sarcastically, "First he isn't my boyfriend so this is not a date and second I believe you're mistaken. I'm with Kid Flash not Speedy."

"Yah yah whatever." Red said sounding bored, "Anyway I just thought you'd want to know your dates almost over."

"Oh and how do you know that?" Jinx said rolling her eyes, "Do you somehow know how to read minds now? And it isn't a date!"

"Let's just say it's almost midnight Cinderella." Red said smirking, "So hoar about you ditch Prince Charming and chill with Robin Hood?"

"No chance." Jinx deadpanned, "but it's good to know you admit you're just like Robin."

"I am not like that traffic light!" Red said angrily, "You're going to regret saying that though!"

"And why is that?" Jinx said mockingly.

"Because the Titans are coming for you and they aren't that happy about you and quick feet taking off." Red said still sounding angry, "So I suggest you kiss you Prince Charming good bye because the magic is over. I'm coming too because I believe we have some unfinished business. Am I right my love?"

"You are so wrong! We are through!" Jinx yelled into the phone, "I never want to see you again!"

"Too bad though." Red said chuckling, "Because you'll never get rid of me." And with that the line went dead. Jinx's phone exploded in her hand her eyes flashing bright pink and a few chose words sprung from her mouth. Her hands were cracking with energy when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned ready to pulverize who ever it was only to come face to face with a confused Kid Flash.

"Um care to explain what just happened?" He asked his sugar crazy gone. Jinx took a deep breath getting her powers into check before opening her eyes ready to face him with the truth.

"It was my ex." She said bitterly, "Ever heard of Red-X?"

"Yah…" Kid said slowly piecing the information together almost reluctant to believe it, "You went out with him?"

"Yah it didn't last long though because he's a cheating worthless piece of -" She started only for Kid to cover her mouth with his hand.

"Whoa! Keep it PG we are in the presence of children." Kid said in fake alarm causing Jinx to give him a small smile before it melted away at her next thought.

"That's another thing." Jinx said sounding annoyed, "Your dear friends are coming and they don't seem happy."

"Wait why did you and Red-X break up exactly?" Kid said unwilling to let the topic leave and wanting to know more about Jinx's past relationships. He wanted know what he was up against. "And how far did you go! Did he kiss you?"

"That doesn't matter right now." Jinx exclaimed annoyed, "Your stupid friends are coming for us! Not to mention my ex! We need to leave. Take me back to my base now!"

"What do you mean it doesn't matter!" Kid said angry, "It does matter because - wait did you say Red-X is coming here!"

"Yes he probably is going to try to woe me again since he is so convinced everyone loves him." Jinx said before muttering, "Cocky, arrogant, huge ego…" Only to be interrupted by Kid asking desperately, "Do you still love him?" He suddenly was worried that maybe he doesn't have a hold on Jinx. Which is bad because she sure has a hold on him.

"That doesn't matter Kid just get me out of here." Jinx said exasperated already thinking of possible back up plans as to escape the Titans and Red because she sure didn't want to deal with any of them right now. She'd rather be at her base drawing unicorns, yes unicorns don't judge.

"Do. You. Still. Love. Him." Kid asked getting even more annoyed and angry. Why couldn't she just answer the question! He needed to know!

"Kid. It. Does. Not. Matter." Jinx yelled back at him causing a bunch of parents and their children to turn and look at them, "What are you looking at!" She said glaring at them, "Mind your own business." Then she turned her attention to a now furious Kid.

"What do you mean it doesn't matter." Kid said in a low dangerous voice that made even Jinx a little scared.

"Look Kid." She said gently trying to calm him down and putting and hand on his forearm, "It's in the past let's keep it that way, plus now really isn't the time to go into my sad relationship with Jason. The Titans are on their way as we speak. WE need to get out of here. I need to get out of here. Don't you care!"

"Jinx I care more that you can possibly know." Kid said dead serious, which is pretty scary considering the usual jokester he is, "Why are you referring to him as Jason? Did you trust him enough with your secret identity? How longer were you dating? I need to know this stuff!"

"Why!" Jinx said exasperated, "Why is it so important to you!"

"Because-because." Kid stammered.

"Spit it out Kid! We don't have al-" Jinx started only to be silence by Kids lips on hers. He stayed there for a moment not moving eyes closed while Jinx started wide-eyed and frozen, but then she slowly relaxed closing her eyes and opening herself to the kiss. Kid feeling this slowly began to move his lips on hers and after a few strokes Jinx joined in. Their lips moved perfectly in sync as Kid's arms wrapped around Jinx's waist and hers wrapped around his neck pulling his head closer. Both were oblivious to the glares parents were sending them too into the dance occurring between their lips. Sadly the kiss had to come to an end for both need air and they separated. Kid leaned his forehead on Jinx's and took a few staggering breathes his deep blue eyes never leaving her shocking pink ones before replying.

"Because I love you."
