A/N: Okay so this update has been way too long, I am sorry for that. Let's just say life got in the way. I do plan to finish this story in the next few weeks. I hope everyone enjoys this chapter.

XXXX

Hayley walked into Tommy's hospital room and saw a woman sitting beside his bed. "Uh, hello." She said as she set the flowers and balloons she bought for Tommy to the side.

"Oh, sorry. I work with Dr. Oliver and when I heard he was in here I wanted to check on him." The woman said standing up. "I'm Anne."

"You're the English teacher, right?" Hayley asked as Anne nodded.

"I should probably go; I didn't expect to be here when his wife showed up." Anne said as she moved toward the door.

"I'm not his wife." Hayley said quickly. She didn't want to run this woman off since she knew Tommy liked her. She had seen them together a few times at the café. "I'm only a friend." She added on.

"Oh, well I should be leaving anyway." Anne said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"You don't have to leave my count. I'm just here to make sure he's okay." Hayley said. "How did you find out about him being here?"

"Principal Randall asked me to take over his bus duty. She explained that he was sick and in the hospital." Anne replied. "I would have been here sooner if I would have known he was here."

"He wasn't until yesterday." Hayley informed her. "He was at home until I convinced him to come here. I've been worried about his health."

Anne nodded. "I do hope he gets to feeling better."

"He will; he's strong." Hayley stated. "He would be happy to know you came by and checked on him."

"You two are close." Anne said as Hayley nodded.

"Yea, we've been friends since college. He's as stubborn now as he was then." Hayley said with a smile. "I'm Hayley by the way." She said holding out her hand to Anne.

"I know." Anne said with a smile. "You own the Cybercafé." She said as Hayley nodded. "It's a great place. When I was in high school, there was a place like that my friends and I hung out at."

"Really?" She asked as Anne nodded. "I got the idea from Tommy. He told me there was a place he always hung out with his friends. Reefside didn't have anything like it so I decided to open one."

"Its great idea and perfect for the town. I better go; I've got papers to grade." She said before leaving the room.

Hayley watched her leave before turning to Tommy. The doctor said that he had been thrashing about and moaning but he looked peaceful now. She wondered if it had anything to do with Anne visited him. It seemed odd that she would visit him since Hayley knew they were barely friends. Tommy didn't make friends easily especially with women so it was weird to see another woman here. The creepy thing was Anne reminded her of Kimberly, Tommy's ex-girlfriend from high school. She had never met Kimberly and would likely never since the woman had been missing for a few years now but the stories from the other rangers made her feel like she did know her.

Shaking her head, she focused back on Tommy. He was starting to move and moan. "What is going on in your mind?" She muttered as she sat down beside his bed. "What are you fighting?"

XXXX

Opening his eyes, he looked around and tried to figure out where he was. There was a line of trees in the distance. Spinning he saw that he was standing in what looked like a desert. Sand was everywhere but it suddenly stopped at that tree line. Where was he? He turned slowly when he heard the sound of someone walking in the sand.

"Tommy, what are you doing?" A petite woman in pink asked as she walked towards him.

"Kimberly?" He asked looking closely at her. What was she doing here? She had been missing for almost three years.

"Of course, it's me." She giggled as she placed her hand on his chest. "You've lost your way."

"I know who the Green Ranger is."

"You've always known who the Green Ranger was but you just didn't read the signs." She stated. "Why are you here though? You should be helping the rangers. They can't do this without you."

"How do you know?" He asked cupping her cheek in his hand.

"Because you are their mentor like Zordon was ours. They need your guidance." She replied.

"How do I get out of here?" He asked as she backed away from him.

"You have to find yourself and the only way to do that is to face your past." She stated as she pointed to her left. A Green, White, and Red Ranger stood at the edge of the tree line.

He looked and saw three rangers standing. They were not just any rangers but his former selves. "Kimberly?" He asked looking back at her.

"It is the only way to save yourself and to save me." She whispered before completely disappearing.

"Are you ready for this?" The Red Zeo Ranger asked him as he stepped forward. It was weird to hear his voice coming from the ranger.

"If this will get me out of here, I'm ready." Tommy stated as he watched the other two rangers disappear leaving him and the Red Zeo Ranger. Was he supposed to fight himself? If so, how would that work?

"Let see if you can still fight, Thomas Oliver." The Red Zeo Ranger taunted as he threw the first punch.

Tommy was knocked down in surprise. His mind was beating him up. "I don't believe this." He muttered as he stood up.

"Is that all you got, Black Ranger?"

"How am I supposed to fight you?" Tommy demanded.

"If you have to ask that question then this will be easy to defeat you. I didn't think the mighty falcon was that easy to take down."

"We'll see about easy." Tommy remarked as he blocked another punch from the Red Zeo Ranger. He then took matters into his own hands and started fighting back.

"Do you think Dr. O is awake yet?" Krista whispered as she grabbed her books from her locker.

"Probably not but I hope so." Kira replied as she closed her locker. "Hayley said she visited him again this morning and he was in a coma." She informed her.

"Yea Connor told me, I just wish that we could visit him." Krista mumbled. "He's not just a teacher to us."

"I know but it would look weird if two of his female students visited him." Kira pointed out as they made their way to their next class.

"You think it would look weird if the boys come with us?" Krista asked. "I could convince Connor to come."

"Still weird but less if Connor and Ethan come with us, I guess." Kira answered. "I just wish the doctor knew what was going on in his mind." She said as they walked into their classroom.

"Why?" Krista asked.

"Because his brain activity is off the charts according to the doctor, he said that Dr. O is clearly thinking about something but he doesn't know what." Kira explained.

"You think it has anything to with being trapped in the amber so long?" Krista asked as they found their seats near the back of the classroom. They both had history at the same time while the boys were in math class.

"I would guess so." Kira replied as their teacher walked into the room. They dropped the subject and opened their books. Neither one of them were listening to the lecture on the invasion of Normandy though. Instead they were thinking of a plan to get the boys to agree to accompany them to the hospital to see Dr. O.

XXXX

Tommy finally knocked the Red Zeo Ranger down. He stood over the ranger and breathed deep. "Are you ready to tell me what this is all about?" He asked.

"You have to find out for yourself."The Red Zeo Ranger replied as Tommy sighed. This was crazy. He was in pain from fighting himself in his mind. Closing his eyes, he tried to think of a reason he was trapped here. He defeated the Red Zeo Ranger, so why was he still here?

He finally opened his eyes and saw he wasn't in the desert place anymore. Instead he was in a forest but it wasn't an ordinary forest. This one was more sinister in appearance with vines hanging from the trees and fog hanging close to the ground.

"Looks like it's my turn." A voice said as the White Ranger flew through the air and landed in front of him.

"I have to fight you too?" Tommy asked as the White Ranger nodded. "This is just not my day." He mumbled as he dove out of the way of a side kick. Where was a monster when you needed one? It would be so much easier if he could fight a monster instead of himself. A monster would not know what he could do and use it against him.

XXXX

"You know hospitals creep me out, right?" Ethan whispered as the teens walked through the entrance.

"Ethan, there is nothing to creep you out. It's a hospital." Kira stated before walking up to the front window.

"Yea, a hospital full of sick people." Connor stated as Krista rolled her eyes. It would have been a great idea to just come without the boys, but Kira was right. It would have been weird for just the two of them to visit Dr. O.

"Don't forget out all the pregnant women on the third floor." Ethan muttered as he glanced to the ceiling.

"I hope Dr. O is nowhere near the third floor." Connor remarked. "I cannot deal with childbirth."

"Connor, it's a part of life." Krista said as she glanced over at Kira.

"So, it's gross." Connor said as Kira finally walked back over to them.

"He is in room 412." She informed them.

"What floor?" Connor asked as they headed to the elevator.

"The 4th." Ethan answered. "His room is 412."

"I know his room number but how did you know the floor?" Connor asked as Krista pushed the up arrow at the elevators.

"Because the first number tells you what floor." Ethan explained. "Once we are on the 4th floor, we will look for room 12."

"If hospitals creep you out, how do you know that?" Kira asked as the elevator dinged and the doors opened.

"I needed to know everything because it did creep me out." He replied as they stepped inside.

"Apparently it didn't help." Krista remarked as she pushed the 4 button.

"No, it didn't." He sighed as the elevator glided to the 4th floor before stopping.

The doors slid open and the teens exited. They saw a sign with an arrow pointing to the left for rooms 1-10 and an arrow pointing to the right for rooms 11-20. They quickly made their way to room 12. Kira softly knocked before they entered. Since he was in a coma, they didn't worry about him not answering them. They saw him thrashing and moaning in his bed.

"Wonder what he's dreaming about." Krista mused as she sat down next to the window.

"Probably how creepy this hospital is."

"I'm pretty sure he's not thrashing and moaning because of the hospital." Hayley stated behind them. "Shouldn't you four be in school or something?" She asked setting her bag down on the end of the bed.

"School was over like 10 minutes ago." Connor informed her. "I should be at soccer practice, but the girls thought it would be too weird if they came by themselves to see Dr. O."

Hayley smiled as she sat down next to the bed. "It would have looked odd for two teenage girls to visit their male teacher in the hospital."

"I told you." Krista said glancing at Connor. "Have you figured out what Dr. O is dreaming about?" She asked looking back at Hayley.

"No, but I do know when Anne is here, he wasn't thrashing or moaning." Hayley said as she brushed her fingertips across Tommy's forehead. "I'm not sure why but she calms him."

"Anne as in Ms. Anne our English teacher?" Ethan asked as Hayley nodded.
"Why would Ms. Anne visit Dr. O?" Kira asked as she leaned against the wall across from the bed.

"I'm not sure." Hayley replied as an alarm sounded from her purse.

"What's that?" Connor asked as she grabbed her purse and pulled out what looked like a cell phone.

"There is a monster downtown; I linked the basement computer to my cell phone in case I was here instead of at the café or the basement." Hayley said as she swiped her finger across the screen. "You four need to get there." She said looking up at them.

"We're on our way." Connor said as they nodded and rushed out of the room.

"Tommy, you need to wake up. These kids can't do this without you." She whispered looking back at him.

XXXX

Tommy didn't know the kids were fighting the monster he wished for while he was fighting the White Ranger. He didn't think he was ever this strong when he was the White Ranger.

"When did you get so weak?" The White Ranger demanded. "What happened to the leader of the Power Rangers?"

"I retired." Tommy bit out as he struggled to get up. He knew his kicks were not that powerful because if they were those putties, tengas, cogs, tyrannodrones, and random monsters would have been done for.

"Then why are you back in spandex? The gem chose you."

"Tommy, you can do this." Kim's voice echoed in his mind as he gained his feet. Her voice seemed to give him strength as he kicked the White Ranger away from him. It was a flashback to several fights when he was the White Ranger. Kimberly was always his strength. Whenever she was near or he heard her voice, he could feel himself get stronger.

"Can you do this, Tommy? The Pink Ranger certainly thinks you can." The White Ranger taunted. "If you could do this, why haven't you saved her yet?"

"What?" Tommy asked as he dodged a punch/kick combination. What did he mean about not saving Kimberly yet? He didn't even know where she was.

"Why haven't you saved the Pink Ranger?"

"Where is she?" Tommy growled. "What have you done with her?"

"She is where she always was, in the hands of evil."
"Zedd?" He asked because it was the only explanation. Had Zedd finally gotten his hands on Kimberly?

"He would have no need of your strength."The White Ranger stated. "Just think about it, you can call it a game. Where is Kimberly Hart?"

"Where is she?" Tommy yelled as he kicked the White Ranger and bought him to his knees. "Tell me now!" He ordered.

"You have to save yourself first."

XXXX

"Okay seriously, I can't take another battle with that Green Ranger." Krista moaned as she placed her hand against her side. "I think I have some deep bruises."

"Are your ribs broken?" Connor asked.

"I don't think just bruised. Although, I'm not sure how I can tell the difference." She groaned.

"Does it hurt to breathe?" Ethan asked as he pulled out his phone and started researching what he could find on broken ribs. "Apparently if it's hard to breathe then you need to go to the hospital."

"Well I can breathe fine; it just hurts when I move too quickly." She explained.

"Should we try going back to the hospital to check on Dr. O?" Connor asked looking at the others.

"Maybe we should just go to the café, I'm sure Hayley is there now." Kira said. "I mean since she is not here." She said spinning around the basement.

"Okay, let's go there then." Ethan said as they nodded and left Dr. O's house.

XXXX

Tommy sighed as the White Ranger disappeared. There was only one ranger left, and it was the one he dreaded the most. His time as the Green Ranger brought back flashbacks of his weakest moments. He might have started out strong but it was only the evil running through him. Once the spell was broken, his guilt weighed heavily on his mind. He never felt easy as the Green Ranger no matter how many times Zordon talked to him.

"You were never meant to be a good ranger." His voice said behind him. Turning he saw the Green Ranger standing there waiting on him. "Zordon did not choose you to be the 6th Power Ranger. Rita Repulsa, the Empress of Evil, chose you to possess the Green Power Coin."

"I know all of this, I was there." Tommy stated as he spun away from a kick. "You forget that Zordon did choose me to be the White Ranger." He informed the Green Ranger.

"Was is really because you earned it, or was it because you already knew the other's secret?" The Green Ranger asked.

It was the very question he asked himself for weeks after becoming the White Ranger. How could he answer the Green Ranger's question if he didn't know the answer himself?

"Because you know Zordon chose you because of your bravery in your final days as the Green Ranger." Kimberly said as she appeared. "You are one of the Original Power Rangers, never doubt your abilities." She instructed as the Green Ranger stuck.

Tommy fell to his knees and looked back at the Green Ranger. "She's right; Zordon chose me." He said as he stood up. His battle with the Green Ranger was fierce and he knew it was because of that guilt he still carried with him. It was time to throw the guilt to the side. He was one of the Original Power Rangers. He was one of Zordon's chosen and he would fight to prove Zordon right.

XXXX

"Where is Elsa?" Mesogogg hissed at Zeltrax.

"She disappeared before the end of the battle, sire." He replied.

"I think she is remembering." He mentioned scanning the room. "Her undercover identity is causing conflict within her."

"She doesn't even connect the two." Zeltrax pointed out.

"It doesn't matter, she refusing to fight more and more. We can't lose her now."

"What do you want me to do?" Zeltrax asked.

"Find her, bring her back, and I will do a complete brainwash. I should have done it two years ago. I would have avoided this problem." Mesogogg stated. "She will never have those flashbacks of her life after I'm done with her.

Zeltrax nodded before disappearing through an invisiportal to search for Elsa. He wasn't sure what form she would be in since she wasn't at the lab; she could be Ms. Anne instead of Elsa.

XXXX

Justin leaned against the counter as he watched Hayley serve several teens before looking back at him.

"How is he?" He asked when she walked over to them.

"Still thrashing and moaning, I thought if I bought a few things to him, he would wake up but he didn't."

"What did you take to him?" He asked.

"His old power coin, dragon dagger, and Zeo morpher." She whispered. "He was still the same though when I left."

"I have Alpha running tests at Steele Industries to see if he can figure out something." He revealed.

"Hopefully Alpha can find something."

"What do you want Alpha to find?" Kira asked as she slid into the chair next to Justin. The others sat in the other empty seats beside her.

"A way to wake Tommy up." He answered. "How did the battle go?" He asked.

"I'm pretty sure I bruised a few ribs." Krista mumbled. "Other than that, we won."

"Don't worry, those bruises will fade." Justin assured her. "I had a few myself."

"Somehow, that doesn't make me feel better." Krista voiced.

"Me either and I'm not hurt." Kira remarked. "Was Dr. O the same?" She asked looking at Hayley.

"He was." She answered. "The doctor said he could wake up at any moment or not for years. There is not a time table for this condition. It just varies with each injury."

"This sucks." Connor stated. "We can't keep handling the monsters, tyrannodrones, the White and Green Rangers." He whispered as he looked around them to make sure other people couldn't hear them.

"Well one good thing is an evil ranger doesn't stay evil for too long." Justin whispered. "Just get plenty of rest and try not to worry about any battles until you are needed for one."

"I don't think that will help." Kira muttered.

Hayley looked over at the Pink Ranger and sighed. She knew this was hard for Kira especially given the fact she almost had her mother back. Mesogogg's look-a-like had taken a toll on Kira's mind. She wondered how Jason and Trini were doing. It had to be hard losing their friend again or at least someone they thought was their friend.

"Okay, I'm going to head home." Kira stated as she stood up slowly. "I want to soak some of the soreness out."

"Please try to get some rest." Justin said as Kira nodded before leaving the café.

"She's still upset over that monster who looked like her mom." Krista supplied. "I tried to talk to her about it but she's not saying much."

"It's hard when someone rocks the foundation of your home life." Justin explained. "I know Jason and Trini are having a hard time as well. They blame themselves for not being smarter about knowing it wasn't Kimberly."

"Is there anything we can do to help her?" Ethan asked.

"No, unfortunately she has to work through this herself." Hayley said sadly. "You can be there for her when she's ready to talk."

"Do you think she will ever be ready to talk?" Krista asked.

"Yes." Justin answered. "Now you three need to get home and rest." He said as they nodded and left the café.

"I'm worried about them." Hayley stated. "If Tommy doesn't wake up soon, they are going to be in trouble."

"Don't worry, he will awake. I've also been working on how to stabilize my powers in case he can't help them." Justin whispered. "Everything will work; you just have to have faith." He said before leaving.

Hayley thought about what he said and knew he was right. She needed to have faith but it was in such short supply right now, it was hard to see it. Shaking her head, she started cleaning up. It was close to closing time and there were only a few people still here. Most were playing on the computers, but there were a few still at the tables.

XXXX

Kira threw another pebble into the lake and watched it skip the surface a few times before finally sinking. She didn't want to go home just yet but she knew she would need to soon. Jason and Trini would worry about her and she didn't want them to worry about her any more than they were. Nothing seemed right anymore but she didn't know what to do. Trent was an evil ranger, Dr. O was in a coma, and her mother was still missing. The life of a ranger wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

"Well look what I found, a lonely Pink Ranger." A voice stated behind her.

She knew that voice very well. Spinning around she faced the man the voice came from, Trent. "What do you want?" She asked.

"I want you to come with me." He said without preamble. "You know there used to be another Green and Pink Ranger couple. He was evil and she was good."

"I know." She stated wondering what he wanted.

"I think they could have ruled the world, if only he would have been stronger and stayed evil. She could have been persuaded to join him just like you can."

"I will not join you, Trent. I'll not work for Mesogogg." She said calmly.

"Who said we would work for Mesogogg? We will be more powerful than he is, but you must come with me." He explained. "You and I will be what the great Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart were not."

"No Kira, don't." A woman called out. Kira turned slightly and saw Ms. Anne running towards them.

"No, Ms. Anne stay there." Kira shouted as Trent grabbed her arm.

"What are you doing here?" Trent called out as he looked at Ms. Anne. "I thought you would be lying low because Mesogogg is looking for you."

"What?" Kira asked looking from Ms. Anne to Trent. "Why would Mesogogg be looking for Ms. Anne?" She asked.

"Because she is Elsa, being the Pink Ranger, you should really know your enemies." He said. "Now, I'm tired of chasing you, come along." He said pulling her behind him.

"Kira, you mustn't go with him." Ms. Anne called out.

"If she wants more information on her mother, she will." Trent stated as Kira paused.

She flicked her wrist like Trini showed and quickly broke Trent's hold on it. She backed up several paces from him. "What do you know about my mother?" She asked. "How do you even know who my mother is?"

"I know because Mesogogg knows. I believe her name is Kimberly Hart and if I'm not mistaken your precious Dr. Oliver is your father. Although how he's not figured it out yet, I'm not sure."

"Mesogogg knows my parents?" She asked clearly shaken by his news.

"Of course he does, who do you think was responsible for your mother's disappearance?"

"It was him?" She asked as Trent nodded. "But why? I wasn't a ranger and she hadn't been one in years."

"It had nothing to do with being a ranger. It was the fact that she was Dr. Oliver's weakness." He explained.

"Then how does Ms. Anne figure into all of this?" She asked looking back at her English teacher.

"She's just a henchman, nothing more, nothing less." He said grabbing Kira again. "Now let's go." He stated as he pulled her into an invisiportal before she could get away again.

"Kira!" Ms. Anne screamed as she fell to her knees. Flashes of pink, white, and green flashed in her mind along with the images of a little girl demanding to a poem about falcons and cranes. What was happening?

Struggling to stand, she closed her eyes and tried to focus on the little girl but couldn't get a clear picture. The only thing clear and in focus was Tommy standing by a lake. He was dressed in green and doing slow moves that included punches. She was dressed in pink and was walking slowly to him.

It was like she was watching a silent movie that featured someone else besides her. She watched herself walk over to Tommy and tell him something. It was jolt to her when she watched Tommy kissed her before pulling back. Opening her eyes, she touched her lips with fingers. His kiss felt real but it couldn't be, could it?

She heard Tommy whisper Kimberly before the sensation of being picked up and spun around took over. Did Tommy just call her Kimberly? There was only one person who could explain this and who wasn't looking for her. Turning, she quickly made her way back to her car. She had to get out of here before Trent told Mesogogg where to find her. She needed answers before she was captured.

XXXX

Hayley scanned the computer after the alarm sounded. Thankfully she had been at Tommy's when it went off because she could check everything she needed from the basement. She knew there wasn't a monster attack so why was the alarm activated? Typing quickly she scanned each of the ranger's homes. Everyone was at home except for Kira. "Now where are you Kira?" She muttered under her breath as she searched all of Reefside including the lake.

"Hayley have you seen Kira?" Jason asked from behind her.

She jumped at the sound of his voice before spinning around to look at him. "You freaking scared the daylights out of me." She breathed as she took a deep breath in before letting it out.

"Sorry, but Trini and I are worried about Kira. She hasn't come home yet." He stated as she nodded.

"I saw her earlier but she was on her way home." She informed him. "I'm tracing her now."

"Why?" He asked as he sat down beside her.

"The alarm sounded but there is no monster so I decided to run scans on the rangers. Everyone is at home except for Kira. I've searched all of Reefside including the lake but can't find her." She explained.

"What's that pink there?" He asked pointing the map of Reefside on the screen.

"It's not her but she has been at the lake and recently. It's the last place I have any reading on her."

"Who is the pink then?" Jason asked.

"I'm not sure but whoever it is, they have the same power signature as Tommy." She said as she pointed to the black on the screen.

"Why is he black? Shouldn't he be a mix of colors?" Jason asked as she laughed.

"No, I assigned his signature as black since we already have a red, green, and white."

"You assigned pink to Kira?" He asked as she nodded. "Then why is this person pink?" He asked.

"I'm not sure actually." She said as the black dot slowly flickered from black to red.

"What are you doing to Tommy's color?" He asked noticing the color change.

"I'm not." She said quickly typing through the program on her computer. "Maybe Connor is at the hospital with him."

"What about the red dot over that house then?" He asked trying to piece the puzzle together. "Connor's not at the hospital is he?"

"No, he's not." She whispered. "I think its Tommy that's changing."

"What does that mean?" He asked beginning to worry about Tommy. He was in a hospital but that didn't mean he was safe. Anyone could take him because he was helpless while he was in a coma.

"I don't know but that person who is throwing off the pink is on their way to him."

"I need to get to the hospital then; Tommy is not in any shape to fight." He stated standing up as Tommy's dot changed from red to white. "It's white now."

"Yea, I saw that." She muttered. "Jason, I think I know who the pink is." She whispered as she looked up at him.

"Who?" He asked as dread and fear spread through him. The tone in Hayley's voice made him nervous about what she would tell him.

"Kimberly." She replied. "I think its Kimberly."

XXXX

Tommy finally knocked the Green Ranger down before taking a breath. "Now what?" He yelled as the Green Ranger slowly stood up.

"You finally remember who you are." The Red Zeo Ranger stated as he appeared next to the Green Ranger.

"You have made Zordon proud." The White Ranger said as he appeared.

"Was this all a test?" Tommy asked looking at the three rangers. "Why did I need to be tested?"

"You didn't need to be tested. You just needed to remember the ranger you were." The Green Ranger stated. "You now have everything you need to find Kimberly. You better find her quick before she is gone forever."

"How do I get out of here?" Tommy asked.

The three rangers opened their hands to reveal a piece of his broken black dino gem. He took all three pieces and looked at them. They began to glow as everything faded around him.

Tommy jerked awake. He felt fingertips running down his cheek as he opened his eyes. Brown eyes, he hadn't seen since she left stared back him.

"Kimberly?" He questioned as he reached for her hand. "What are you doing here?"

So what did everyone think? Please let me know. The next chapter should be up soon.
