Happy New Year fanfic friends! Hope you all had a lovely holiday now on with the story
Chi Chi was hanging up laundry outside when Yamcha landed on her front lawn carrying her husband gasping in pain. She gasped in shock before running over and cradling Goku's face in her hands feeling the intense heat radiating off of it.
"Goku, stay with me please!" she begged her husband before turning to Yamcha.
"Is it the virus?" she asked the other man who nodded in confirmation.
"Alright get him inside. Go up the stairs and turn right, our room is the first door on the left. I'll up in a minute I need to get the medication and some supplies," Chi Chi commanded in a tone that would make her father proud.
"On it," Yamcha replied and both he and Chi Chi quickly moved into the house to take care of Goku.
After he was comfortable in the bed Chi Chi quickly gave Goku the medication that he had given her after the met the strange boy from the future. She promptly sat beside her husband and held his hand as he watched him fighting the virus.
"Be strong Goku I'm right here," she whispered trying not to cry at the sight of her love in agonizing pain.
She felt Goku squeeze her hand and she looked over to see him trying his best to smile at her confidently. With all the energy he had Goku brought his wife's hand to his lips and kissed it gently.
"My hero," he wheezed out in a teasing tone making his wife snort with laughter.
"Somebody needs to watch out for that nice butt of yours. Now get some rest I'll be right here," Chi Chi replied before leaning over and kissing her husband on the forehead.
"Yamcha," Goku said calling over to his friend.
"Ya buddy what do you need?" Yamcha replied running to the other side of Goku's bed so he was closer to his friend.
"I'm gonna be ok…so make sure she doesn't overdo it ok?" the saiyan requested nodding to his wife making her and Yamcha both chuckle.
"You got it," Yamcha replied before Goku smiled at him and closed his eyes to get some rest.
The ox princess began to sob terrified for her husband and didn't even hear Yamcha run around the bed and pull her into an embrace and guide her into the chair beside Goku's bed. The Z fighter held onto the woman silently before letting go and giving her hand a squeeze.
"It's alright Chi Chi the medicine just needs time to work. He's gonna be fine ok so please don't worry he's in good hands," Yamcha said trying to comfort the woman.
"Thanks Yamcha," Chi Chi managed to get out as exhaustion began to take over her body.
Yamcha grabbed a pillow from the bed and wrapped a blanket around the tiny woman so that Chi Chi could rest by her husband's side.
"You rest here with him and I'll fix something up for lunch," Yamcha said gently before leaving the couple to have a moment alone.

Android Twenty wasn't going to take any chances and without warning took to the skies and flew off for his life. All of the fighters quickly went after him not wanting him to get away from them. They flew roughly fifty miles ahead but found no sign of the android anywhere. The android was no fool and knew that the humans could not find him as long as he hid himself well within the crevices of the desert. He watched as they searched for him throughout the area and the frustration they gained from it.
'Those fools, I will destroy them long before they spot me' the android thought confidently.
Before Twenty could put a plan into motion his attention was grabbed by a certain saiyan prince who was becoming very impatient to find the android.
"ANDROID REVEAL YOURSELF BEFORE I DO SOMETHING DRASTIC!" Vegeta cried out.
'Oh what are you going to do, shoot at everything until I come out?' the android thought amused.
Vegeta took a deep breath before he calmly started firing rapid fire shots spontaneously throughout the battleground.
"He's insane," Twenty hissed before ducking under some rocks to protect himself from the attack coming at him.
Vegeta seemed to be enjoying himself as he hummed a merry tune while he destroyed without a care. The others watched unimpressed as he did so but waited patiently until he stopped. When he did Nia floated over to where he was hovering in the air and inspected her brother's handiwork. Vegeta watched her without any expression on his face as she did.
"You missed a spot," she said calmly without looking away from the destruction.
Vegeta said nothing before he continued blasting the area for miles in all directions with a smirk on his face. The others groaned in irritation as the saiyan prince continued his onslaught with glee.
"Why would you do that?" Tien asked face palming himself.
"It'll be easier to put him down for his nap if he works off some extra energy," Nia said as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
After the saiyan siblings were content by the massacre on the battleground the group split up to find what they assumed would be the remains of the last android.

Android Twenty counted his blessings that he was able to hide from the brutal attack brought on by the newer fighter. Slowly the old man peaked his head out and noticed that the group of fighters had split up and they were now searching…searching for him.
'I must get more power' the android thought.
He glanced around at the potential victims he could steal from until directly above him stood a boy. The boy was indeed a perfect victim within perfect reach to quickly grab and drain him dry before anyone could get to them.
'He's perfect' the android thought with glee until the green one came.

Piccolo wasn't sure why but he didn't like his student there where he was. It seemed ridiculous but he had a feeling that Gohan wasn't safe there but the Namek was always one to trust his gut.
"Gohan," he called over to the hybrid boy who quickly turned his attention to him.
"What is it Mr. Piccolo?" Gohan asked his mentor.
"I'll finish checking here. Go comb outside the blast area in case the android managed to weasel his way out of blast shot," Piccolo said with no room for argument.
"Yes sir," Gohan replied reluctantly before taking off.
Piccolo watched the boy fly off a good distance before beginning a search of his own. He had only just started before something shot up behind him and covered his mouth.
"I would have preferred the boy but you will do green man," android Twenty hissed into Piccolo's ear.
'Like hell I'd let that happen' Piccolo thought as he struggled against the man's strong grip.
Thinking fast Piccolo focused his attention on connecting telepathically with Gohan and Nia as he felt the energy slowly being drained from his body.
'Found the android…thinks I'm a snack…help?!' Piccolo said to the children through their connection.

Android Twenty couldn't help feeling confident in his victory as he felt the Namek's energy flowing through his veins. It would not be enough to take down the gold fighter but it would be enough to take down the weaker fighters and then work his way up to the strongest of the group.
"Your energy shall be mine," the android said with glee to his victim.
The old man was so distracted by his task that he didn't notice the children on either side of him. He certainly was not expecting to be attacked on either side of his body of them and let go of his victim before falling quickly to the ground below.
"Three against one vote that it isn't," Nia said with a smirk as Gohan checked on Piccolo.
"You ok Mr. Piccolo? I'm sorry I shouldn't have left I'm sorry," the boy said to his mentor feeling guilty.
"Better me then you kid. I'm fine," Piccolo replied looking unfazed by the attack.
The shocked android watched as the other fighters joined them completely surrounding him from above. He couldn't believe the power coming off all of them all of a sudden and became confused as to why this wasn't in his database.
"Krillen I need a senzu bean," the Namek called over to the former monk.
"Sure thing buddy," Krillen replied tossing over the small bean to Piccolo who glared down at the android as he ate it.
"So android where were we? Oh yes we were about to fight until you ran away," Vegeta mocked proudly.
The saiyan prince was about to attack when Piccolo stopped him abruptly must to Vegeta's dislike. He turned to the Namek with a glare demanding an explanation.
"I've got a bone to pick with him," Piccolo explained before turning his attention back to the android in front of them.
Android Twenty smirked as he stared at the glaring Namek looking none too pleased with him. The old man began to chuckle as he stared at Piccolo when suddenly the green man disappeared and reappeared in front of Android Twenty before roundhouse kicking the robot into a cliff.
The old man was as furious as he was shocked by the sudden attack as he listened to the fighters cheer on the Namek and Vegeta bark out, "BAHA!"
Android Twenty glared at the Namek as he pulled himself out of the cliff and flew at him full of rage but Piccolo disappeared again just before the android could attack confusing the robot. Twenty turned around to see Vegeta with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face that said 'I know something you don't'.
The saiyan chuckled before nodding his head up and the android looked up to see Piccolo coming down on him elbow first right in the face. Android Twenty fell like a rock into a cavern as the fighters watched on in amazement.
When the smoke cleared Android Twenty could be seen still lying on a rock bed looking shocked and confused.
"I don't understand he is supposed to be one of the weaker fighters. How I he giving me such difficulty?" the android asked himself.
Wanting to end the fight quickly the old man flew at the Namek with a punch ready but Piccolo beat him to it. Piccolo moved aside just enough that he could knee his opponent in the gut before karate chopping him in between his shoulder blades sending him flying once more. He landed into a cliff at such an intense speed that the top of the cliff collapsed and fell on top of the robot's body.
"Go Piccolo!" Gohan cried to his mentor.
"Wow he's really improved," Krillen noted impressed.
Nia noticed the rubble from the cliff collapsing beginning to move and shouted to her mentor, "Piccolo watch out!"
As she said that the android shot from the rubble and flew at Piccolo ready to destroy him but his attacks were quickly blocked by the Namek. The android was quickly becoming more and more frustrated with his situation before he was sent flying once more. Deciding he only had one option left the android moved quickly and shot up towards the Namek to grab him and drain him of his energy. However before he could Piccolo predicted his movements and grabbed his wrist before ripping from the robot's body.
"You know I used to be like you android. One day you'll learn that hurting others only makes your own life harder and the drive to kill is what inevitably kills you. Unfortunately for you that day will never come," Piccolo said before destroying the robotic limb.
Furious Android Twenty came at Piccolo full force but was backhanded by the Namek and knocked to the ground. As the android rolled over and looked up at his opponent he was just in time to see a blast hit him square in the chest causing a massive explosion.

Trunks stepped out from his time machine and looked around his new surroundings in confusion. The city was burned to the ground with no survivors in sight as far as the lavender haired teen could tell. It terrified him so similar this city was to his own back in his time.
"This is mind boggling I don't understand. Goku was supposed to be able to stop this," he said out loud to himself when he heard an explosion that surprised him.
The teen felt his hope wavering at the thought of Goku not making it through the heart virus and the androids becoming victorious after all their efforts to stop them. Just then Trunks felt strong powers coming from a ways off from the city and the teen smiled in relief.
'The others are still alright! I am not too late and victory is still possible' the teen thought as he flew towards the battle.
An explosion alerted the saiyan of the whereabouts of the battle and made haste to get there as quickly as possible to help take down the androids. As he flew towards the battle he immediately turned super saiyan praying to anyone who was listening that he was not too late. He was grateful that he was close to the battle and it didn't take long to see his friends surrounding something.
He was so shocked by what he saw that he didn't realize that everyone was watching him intently including Vegeta.

"This simply doesn't add up. You were not supposed to be this strong," Android Twenty shouted to the fighters above him.
"Heh, that's because we were warned about you three years ago. We've been waiting and preparing for you my friend," Piccolo said enjoying the shock wash over the android's face.
"Lucky for us," Krillen chimed in merrily.
"So are you going to do the honors Piccolo or shall I?" Vegeta said cheerfully.
"Oh it would be my pleasure to end this," Piccolo said cracking his knuckles in anticipation to finish off his opponent.
Suddenly they all felt a new powerful ki approaching them quickly that felt familiar to all except for the android. Everyone was shocked when they saw Trunks appear in his super saiyan form looking just as shocked as they were.
"This is not the same either, what is going on?" Trunks wondered staring at Android Twenty.
"Trunks what are you doing here?" Piccolo asked forgetting that the others had no idea who this boy was.
Vegeta was the first to put two and two together when he heard the boy's name before becoming stunned. He was staring at the future version of his son that he had yet to meet amazed by the power that he possessed.
"Something didn't feel right in the future like there was something the fighters in my time had missed before they were killed. Mother mentioned something about the doctor on the day of the battle as well as another android so I came to help," Trunks explained.
"You mean these aren't the androids that you know?" Tien asked in shock.
"No I don't know who this is but it's not either of the androids I know," the teen replied.
Without warning several blasts shot up at the Z fighters before Android Twenty took off running for his life. The old man began laughing manically as he scurried off pressing buttons on a device attached to his wrist.
"The boy speaks truth there are more androids and I have just awakened them all! Prepare to die humans," Android Twenty cried to them.
Nia was the first to react and went super saiyan before running off after the android to destroy him. The others went in the other direction when they saw the cliff collapsing on itself from the android's attacks. As the large boulders fell Vegeta looked up and noticed a ship flying towards them and saw that Bulma was inside of it.
'I swear that woman has a god damn death wish!' he thought furious with his mate.
None of the fighters could get to Bulma and helplessly watched as she used her pilot expertise to maneuver the ship through the rocks. The bluenette managed to save herself from the avalanche of rocks and land the ship far from harm's way. Or at least she felt that way until she saw Vegeta storming towards her full of rage.

It didn't take much for Nia to find the android and stop him dead in his tracks. The old man didn't look in the least bit scared of this child until he felt her power. Desperately Android Twenty flew at the child to try and absorb her energy but Nia was faster using a blast to sever the old man's head from his body. The young girl was fed up with the robots and watched as the android's head and his body flew in two separate directions feeling no remorse for destroying the machinery.
Quietly she walked towards the creature's head and picked it up so that its face was facing her. She watched as the robot opened his eyes and glared at her furious for mutilating him this way.
"I'm done playing," Nia said as she aimed her hand towards the android's body and blasted it into metal shavings.
"It does not matter the damage is already done. You and your race will be destroyed for what Goku did to Dr. Gero," Android Twenty replied.
"You think so huh," Nia said with a smirk making the android nervous.
"Well I guess I'll just take you with me for some info now won't I?" she replied flying off towards her friends holding the old man's head by his hair.
Upon her return she saw her friends standing around a ship as Vegeta screamed at Bulma who was holding her hands on her hips screaming right back.
She shook her head and flew over to stand beside Trunks and Gohan before she asked, "What happened now?"
"Mother flew through the rock avalanche and father is furious with her for it," Trunks explained.
With a sigh Nia walked over to them dragging the android's head on the ground until she was beside them.
"EXCUSE ME!" she cried over the couple's shouting making them stop and stare at her.
"He has something to tell us," Nia said calmly holding up the android's head making Bulma scream and Vegeta smirk.

Dr. Gero's lab remained dark and abandoned since its destruction. Everything in the room was either broken or shut down except for four pods locked away in the man's scientific domain. Three contained human androids who were currently in suspended animation and the other was completely sealed with only a label that said 'perfection'.
Suddenly out of nowhere the main computer turned on and started a chain of electronic devices turning themselves on.
'Android 16, 17, 18 awaken from suspended animation' the computer demanded before three out of the four pods opened revealing three human like figures.
One was a tall young man with jet black hair and deep blue eyes, wearing an orange shirt and a pair of black pants with a pair of sneakers. The other was a young woman the same height as the young man with the same eyes except blond hair and wore a denim outfit. The last was very different from the other two as he towered over the both of them with red hair, hazel eyes and a green and black outfit.
"What a dump. Let's get out of here before I suddenly learn the ability to throw up." the blond said beginning to leave which was quickly followed by her smirking twin and silent companion.
