CHAPTER 24

VISITORS YOU WILL NEVER FORGET

KAI`S POV:

Today was Friday. It was the month of June. The season was summer. It was hot and humid, but I actually enjoyed it. I had to remember all these things because it was one way to refresh my memories. I was starting to have visions for the past three days. There was a vision of a man who had a long white beard and was wearing a white kimono. There were three guys in other vision. One was named Cole. All I could see was his jet black hair. One of them had brown hair and the other had blond hair. I didn't catch their names. There was a kid in my vision. He said his name was Lloyd. I wonder if these people remember me.

There was a familiar vision I had. It was an older couple. I don't know the wife's name, but her husband said his name was Garmedon. I saw a long blond hair that was pulled up in a braid. She was with the same blond boy I saw in my earlier vision. They must be lovebirds. I didn't know her name.

An important vision was one I couldn't get out of my head. She was beautiful. Absolutely perfect. So many memories started flooding back in my head about her. We had spent time together. I started remembering everything she told me on our first date. I only remember hugging her at the end of the night. I don't think there was a good night kiss. It didn't matter. She was wonderful. The last memory that shot through my head was that I was fighting some sort of shadow creature and threw him out the window using some sort of powers. Was I a hero or something? I don't know. The last thing I remember doing for that girl, who's name is Kitty, was carrying her out of a building and bringing her to safety. She was mostly the only person I could remember seeing for a good long while before the amnesia hit.

I was out of bed. My body was no longer sore and I felt fresh. I was lying down outside in the soft, green grass, thinking about things I couldn't remember. I went back into my visions and remember some things from my childhood. I can't really explain them all. There are just too many. I was in the middle of one that I thought was important when Abigail came outside and called out, "Kai, Lady Smith needs to talk to you."

Great. Just when I was enjoying some peace and quiet. One thing I do remember about myself is being a bit stubborn and hot headed at times. "I'll be with her in a moment." I got walked back inside the house. I found my grandmother in the living room.

"Hello, Kai," my grandmother said, "Are you starting to refresh your memories?"

"I've gone back through some," I said, "Not all of them, though."

"I'm sure you will soon. Very soon, to be exact."

"What do you mean?"

"I have invited your sister to come and visit."

"My sister? Is she coming over to get me?"

"If you think your ready to go back into the world. I wouldn't mind if you went with her or stayed with me for a little while longer."

"You have been very nice company. I appreciate your kindness."

"Oh, if your father were still alive today, he would say that you are a perfect gentleman."

"I'm sure he would. I had some visions about when he was training me to become a blacksmith. Although, now I don't remember how."

"You will in time."

"I hope your right."

"I always am. Anyway, your sister is coming over tomorrow and she's bringing a few guest. I would like you to wear something that they will remember you in."

"The only thing I have that belongs to me was the clothing that was red."

"Wear that. I'm sure they'll remember you in that."

"Alright. I will."

"Good. Now you go upstairs and get some rest. I'll have Abigail run you a bath."

I went upstairs and walked inside my temporary room. By tomorrow, I would leave and go back to my real home. I saw something lying on the bed. It was the red clothing. When I remember wearing it when I first woke up, it had rips and tears. They were fixed now so I could wear them and be recognized. I changed out of the regular clothes they gave me and changed into the red clothes. When I looked in the mirror, a vision shot through my head. I saw the same three guys from earlier. They were wearing the same clothes I was, but with different colors. I was with them. We did these weird fighting skills, spinning around and fighting off the same shadow creatures from one of my earlier visions. Soon, I started remembering the most important thing. I was a hero. That spinning skill was spinjitzu. The clothes that I was wearing right now was a ninja gi. Everything was in perfect order. I was a ninja. I started to remember everything now. My sister Nya, my team, my teacher, allies, even the girl that I thought of the most. I saw it all. My amnesia was mostly gone.

I took off the ninja gi and changed into a pair of nightclothes. I went to bed early, not waking up until the next morning.

KITTY'S POV:

The ninja came to pick me up bright and early Saturday morning. I was still a bit tired, but I had to wear something nice. It takes me forever to get ready in the morning than it already was. I climbed in the car and we went out on the road.

"So, where are we going anyway?" I asked.

"I can't tell you that, but it's somewhere in Ignacia Village," Nya said.

"Ignacia Village?"

"Precisely," said a voice from behind me. I jumped.

"What is the matter with you?" I asked him, "You almost gave me a heart attack."

Nya laughed. "Sorry about Caleb. He's the type of person that can sneak up on people."

"I haven't seen him before," I told her, "How do you know him?"

"We met a few weeks ago. We've went out a few times."

"As acquaintances, though," Caleb said.

"This is so weird," I said, "So many things I have to learn from all of you."

Everyone laughed. I joined in along with them. If I was going to be like them, I'd have to join in. We finally made it to Ignacia Village. Nice place. The place we stopped at was this gigantic house. Gee, I wonder who lives here. We all got out of the car and saw another car pull up. It looked like a van fit for ten people.

"Gosh, Nya, how many people did you invite?" I asked.

"The entire ninja clan," Nya said.

"Did you have to invite everyone?"

"My grandmother said to bring as many people as I want."

"This is your grandmother's home?"

"Yep."

"Oh, what did I get myself into?"

Nya laughed. "Come on. My grandmother hates waiting."

Nya rang the doorbell and a lady that looked like a maid answered the door. That's another way to know that somebody's rich. "Hello, I'm Abigail, the maid of the house. Please come in while I get Lady Smith."

We came inside the gigantic house while Abigal went to get Lady Smith. The inside was much bigger than the outside. I guess that's why we had to dress formal.

I tapped Nya on the shoulder. "Is your grandmother rich or something?"

"She is, actually," Nya said, "After my grandfather's disappearance, she took over the family business."

"Nya, so wonderful to see you again," someone said from upstairs.

"Nana," Nya said, running up to hug her grandmother. So this is Lady Smith. "It's so good to see you again."

"How have things been?"

"A lot has happened since the last time I saw you. I'm not sure you know this, but Kai`s gone."

"Really? Is that so?"

"Yes. You don't sound upset about it."

"Why don't you come and see the good news that I bring."

We followed Lady Smith upstairs. She stood next to a red door that looked like it was freshly painted. When she opened it, we saw something that we never thought we would see again. Or rather someone.

Kai stood in front of a paintboard and looked over at us. His eyes widen with surprise. His instincts got the better of him. He dropped his paintbrush and ran straight over towards me. He was the first person that's hugged me in a while. I cried tears of joy when I finally got to see him again. The man of my dreams. The man of my life.

KAI IS STARTING TO REMEMBER THINGS. SO COOL.

NYA TOOK EVERYONE TO MEET HER GRANDMOTHER. NICE.
