Two chapter in one day. It's very rare, you shouldn't expect this very much. i was gonna wait until next week to post this, but I was really excited so i decided to post this now.

I hope you like it. I really really really hope you like it.

"Where did she go?" Doyle asked after Blair and Ackerson disappeared, "and what was up with Blair."

"I don't know." I replied, "It takes a lot to get Blair that pissed, and there's no way to predict what she'll do or where she'll go." I looked over to Zak who was still unconscious. He's parents had run over to his side the second Blair had tossed him off the porch, but he hadn't responded to them at all. He was just moaning as if he was in pain, which is probably true.

"You've gotta know something wise guy, you always know something." I racked my brain trying to think of where Blair could be.

"She'll be close by," I decided, "Probably. She does care about Zak, and so she'll want to be somewhere close so she'll be able to know if he's okay." Doyle laughed.

"She just chucked him off a porch! You really think she cares if Zak is alright?"

"She probably had her reasons. Blair knows more about the situation than us. If she's targeting Ackerson, then there was a reason. It probably wasn't only because of some personal vendetta."

"Then where is she?" I glanced to the house realizing it would be the most probable location. The building is a giant maze once you get past the front house. If she didn't want to be interrupted that's where she would go.

"You go check on Zak, I'm gonna go look for Blair." I announced.

"So you know where she is?" Doyle asked.

"Maybe. Just go make sure Zak is okay." I didn't give Doyle a chance to argue as I ran into the house. I retraced my steps back to the dining room where we ate and I moved on from there. I'd seen a map of this place before. It was the blueprints for the building I think. I don't know how my dad had managed to get it, or if it had even been a challenge for him, but I remembered every detail. The place was designed to confuse and trap. If you venture in, I don't think you were ever supposed to leave. The maze was also a bit of security. There was a main office somewhere in the back, and if I was right, that's where I would find Blair and Ackerson.

There were a lot of left turns and right turns. There were traps everywhere, but thankfully very few were still active. Unlike the stories I had hears about this place there weren't deadly cryptids jumping out of the shadows to attack you. Honesty the trip through the house was pretty easy. I reached the doors the office within ten minutes. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I walked in, but I prepared myself for the worst.

The door opened silently and I poked my head through the crack and looked around. It was a large room that looked like it was made of stone. There wasn't much of anything in here, just some bookshelves and a desk at the far end of the room. It was pretty quiet, which was also a surprise. I was expecting some sort of brawl to be happening, but the room was void of any chaos. The only moving thing was the chair behind the desk. It was spinning around in circles, and sitting in it was Blair. She was staring at the ceiling until I stepped in and closed the door. She must have heard the door click, because she looked over to me.

At first she didn't do anything. We just watched each other, but then she broke into a smile and jumped out of her chair.

"Francis!" she cried running over. She threw her arms around my neck and hugged me. She seemed back to normal, but—

"What happened to Ackerson?" I asked holding her at arms length.

"Eh—he's getting what he deserves."

"Blair, what did you do?"

"Nothing really. I asked him some questions, but he wouldn't answer no matter what I tried, so I turned him in. Did you know all the secret scientists are still sitting in the Saturday's living room back in Washington? I just popped in, told them this was the guy who caused all the issues and left."

"That's it?"

"What? Did you think I was gonna kill him?" she asked playfully. I thought back to when we were on the porch. She had given me a look that was paralyzing. It was murderous.

"Actually yes." I admitted, "But I'm glad you didn't."

"Is Zak okay?"

"You launched him off the porch, Blair, he's not going to simply walk away unharmed."

"I realize, Francis." She mumbled, "But I needed him out of action. He'd only get in the way."

"What do you mean?"

"Ackerson was controlling Zak and in turn Zak was controlling me. I was fighting off Zak's powers, but it wouldn't have lasted all that long. I was able to break free based purely on my rage, but it's like an energy drink. It wakes you up, but you're bound to crash eventually. My energy drink only woke me up for a few minutes."

"How would you even know that?"

"Because Zak's powerful." She exclaimed; shivered as she recalled the memory. "It wouldn't have taken that long to get me back under check. You've never experienced his power, so you wouldn't know, but he's powerful, and he doesn't even have all of Kur back."

"Wait, what? The way he was acting—"

"I know, you'd think he has it all back, but no. From what I figured out, each fragment gave him a bit of his power back, but In order for it to be whole again, he has to get his hands on the completed stone. Ackerson never gave Zak the completed kur stone. If he had, there's no way he would have been able to control him."

"Okay, so I take it the stone is the method Ackerson used to control Zak?"

"Yeah, that's what I picked up on. He said the stone was the 'key to Kur.' I guess it was the Key to controlling it and since Zak was Kur, he could control Zak with it."

"So all that stuff he said to his parents earlier."

"Francis, I don't remember much of anything from when I was being controlled. If Zak said anything bad it could have been a script Ackerson made him read or it could have been his own feelings. Frankly it could have been both. You'd have to ask Zak, but if being controlled by the stone is the same as being controlled by Kur then Zak's probably not gonna remember much of anything."

"Where is the stone?" I asked looking around.

"I've got it." she said looking over to the desk. "And I'm keeping it."

"What about Zak?"

"What about him?" she asked

"Doesn't he need it?"

"Yeah, but, not right now." She explained, "He needs to talk to his parents first."

"That's a horrible excuse, Blair." I accused, "You're mad at him."

"I have my reasons, Francis, and I'm not giving it to him yet. And Zak does need to talk to his parents. They have no clue what's been going on and if I waltz out there and just hand him the rest of his powers they are going to blame me for all of this. Scratch that. If I show up in front of them right now, I will be blamed for all of this. I'm sick of running."

"I know." I told her. She sighed looking up at the ceiling.

"Remember when I was actually kinda normal. I went to school; I had friends and a curfew. We were still enemies, but I wasn't part of all this chaos."

"You're not normal, Blair. This world we are a part of isn't normal. It would have found you eventually, if not back when you met Zak, then it would have been some other time."

"Eh, it's been about two months, maybe? A little less?" she wondered, "It feels like a century, and it feels like I've been involved in this far longer than I actually have."

"It's not as bad as you think."

"No, it's not." She agreed, "But what I hate, is that I'm still in the dark. I've learned so much about all the things that go bump in the night, but I still don't know anything about myself. Like why I'm part cryptid? Why did Ackerson have a trigger he could use on me to control me."

"A trigger?"

"I still don't even know what the word was and I don't remember when he ever used it on me. He would say something and I would just fall into a trance. Why was he able to do that? He knew something, and I tried to get something out of him before you showed up, but no luck."

"You didn't question him for a long time."

"It didn't take very long for me to realize he wouldn't say a word." She returned. "You know, he kept referring to me as his daughter. Do you know how creepy that is? He had Zak call him father to annoy his parents, but there's no reason for me to call him father or him to call me his daughter."

"Blair, you're over reacting." I said, "Half the reason the secret scientist exist is to undiscovered stuff that's kept in the dark."

"They won't help me."

"Some of them might." I assured, "On another note, do you know what Hanger 910 is?"

"Hanger 910?" she repeated. Her expression made it clear that she had no clue what I was talking about. "What is it?"

"It's something Doyle mentioned at the table. He asked if Ackerson was using Zak as revenge because of the incident at Hanger 910. From what I gathered it was a group of scientists doing illegal experiments."

"No, I have no idea what that is."

"I figured. Be sure remember it; though, it might be important."

"I take it you don't know much about it?"

"I've never heard of it. I've read through almost everything on the database we have back at HQ, but I've never heard of Hanger 910."

"Maybe it has a different name?"

"Maybe," I mumbled, "I look into it."

"Thanks, Francis." Neither of us said anything for a moment.

"So what are you going to do now?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Well, this whole fiasco is over, so I could go home if I wanted to. I think my parents deserve to know I'm okay."

"You're not going home, though, are you?"

"No. I've got to many questions, and I need answers. I stashed that file like you told me to. I think it's about time I go take a look."

"That's a good start."I told her

"Yeah, but it might be a while till you see me again though. It might be a while till any of you see me again."

"And why's that?"

"Just a feeling." She said

"A feeling? Really?" I mocked. She just stared at me.

"Shut up." She ordered.

"Right, well I take it you're leaving soon?"

"I'll probably leave from here." She explained.

"And what about Zak and the kur stone?"

"You don't need to worry about that one." She said giving me a playful smile, "I at least have a bit of an idea of what I'm doing believe it or not."

"Of course you do." I joked, "Well, be sure to check in. If you ever need anything at all, you know how to find me."

"Naturally." She said, "So, until we meet again?" I pulled her into a hug then kissed her gently on the lips. I wanted to remember this. I don't remember when it happened, or how, but Blair had become an important person to me. I wanted her to be happy.

"Until next time." I told her. She smiled at me as she walked back over to the desk. She picked up a backpack from the ground and shouldered it. After a short wave she disappeared. I was sad to see her go, but we're both caught up in this weird world of myth and mystery, so it was almost guaranteed that we'd see each other again. I turned away from the last place Blair had been standing, left the office room, and headed back to the front of the mansion, where the Saturday family was probably still waiting.

I don't remember anything. I really don't. I remember pain, and a bright light then nothing. There are a few bits and pieces here and there that were blurry but I couldn't make much out of them. No, that's not right; I remember something. I remember Blair. She had me pinned to the wall and she was mad. Mad was too light of a word, but I remember she was mad at me. I don't remember the words, but the tone was full of hate, but then she leaned in and said something that wasn't just hate, it was hurt. She sounded hurt and betrayed, but why? She never goes off unless she has a reason, but—

You Promised!

Oh no. No. No. No!

"Blair!" I yelled shooting straight up. My vision was swimming and I couldn't see shapes just swirls of whatever was around me. "Blair!" I yelled again. Something grabbed at me, but I couldn't see it and I shoved it away and scrambled to get to my feet. I started to run from whatever was after me, but I didn't even get a step in before I crumbled back down to the ground. Everything hurt. I felt stabbing pain when I breathed. I tried to get up again, but something pinned me to the ground.

"Get off!" I yelled struggling to get free, "Get off me!"

"Zak, calm down!" someone ordered above. They didn't sound threatening. They sounded worried.

"We're not gonna hurt you, baby." Another said. I stopped struggling recognizing the voices.

"Mom? Dad?" I asked. My voice came out rather horse, which wasn't what I was expecting. I tried to blink the blurriness from my vision, and it kinda worked. I could see my parents, but they're outlines were still a bit fuzzy. They looked worried. Mom looked like she was about to cry.

"Zak are you okay?" Dad asked.

"Define okay." I moaned looking around. I saw Doyle standing off the side; he kept glancing at the building we were standing outside of as if he were on edge. I scanned the area again, but my parents and Doyle were the only ones around. No Blair.

"What happened?" I asked slowly sitting up. My parents tried to stop me, but I brushed them off and sat up.

"Well—"my mom paused as if she wasn't sure how to proceed.

"You were launched off a porch." Doyle said stepping up.

"By Blair?" I asked. Doyle nodded yes. "I guess I deserved that."

"No you didn't." Drew said. I glanced at her noticing the hits of anger starting to surface, "I don't care what she thinks you did to her, there was no reason for her to do that."

"Doyle how mad was she?" I asked ignoring my mom, "Be honest."

"She took Ackerson somewhere and I wouldn't be surprised if he's dead. One look would stop you in your tracks. If you had the bravado to go against her when she was that inraged, you probably had a suicide wish in the first place." I moaned and flopped back down onto the ground. I immediately regretted that as a shot of pain rang through my body.

"She's never going to talk to me again."I moaned

"Zak, she hurt you." My mom reminded, "Why would you want to talk to her again? She's dangerous."

"No, she's not." I snapped, "Well, yes, she is, but that's only if you're on her bad side. Mom I screwed up."

"You didn't do anything wrong." My mom assured, "You were forced by Blair—"

"Shut up!" I snapped, "You don't get it. I wanted Kur back. Every time I got another fragment it felt like a piece of me that had been missing came back. I wanted it back. Blair wasn't forcing me to do anything, she was helping me. If anything I forced her to help me because we were both scared of what you and dad would do if you found is. That's why we didn't come to you. Blair was scared for her life and I was scared to tell you. " My mom sat back and wouldn't meet my eyes. She looked like she was about to cry again.

"So you do hate us then." She stated.

"What? No! Where did you get that from? I don't hate you. How could I hate you? Sure you're over protective sometimes, and yes you drive me crazy, but you're my parents. I didn't come to you because I was scared I would disappoint you." My mom's eyes instantly brightened and she pulled me into a hug.

"I love you, Zak, and that will never change whether you have your powers or not."

"I love you to mom." I said returning the hug. She eventually let me go and I once again looked around.

"Do you know what happened to Blair?" I asked, "I screwed up big time and I doubt she'll forgive me but I want to apologize."

"What did you do?" Dad asked

"I used my power on her. I don't have all of it back, but it was enough. I swore I wouldn't use it on her ever again, and then I just turned around and broke it. She's gonna hate me."

"It's not as bad as you think it is Zak." My eyes focused in on Francis. He was standing up on the porch. I guess he's just come from inside the building.

"You know where Blair is, right?" I asked.

"She left" he said simply. "What do you remember?"

"Nothing." I admitted, "I remember Blair getting mad at me, I don't remember her tossing me off the porch, and I can't remember much of anything from after I first arrived here. It's all just a haze. There are bits and pieces, but I can't make heads or tails of them."

"Blair said that would probably happen." He said, "She doesn't remember much from when you were controlling her either."

"She hates me, doesn't she?"

"Hate is such a strong word. She's cooled down a bit, and she's mad at you, but I don't think she hates you."

"What happened to Ackerson?" Doyle asked, "Did Blair—"

"He's at the Saturday's house. That's what she told me. She tried to get some info out of him, but he wouldn't say anything so she handed him over to the scientists who were apparently gathered at your house."

"But Blair's okay, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's fine."

"What about the stone?"

"The stone?" my mom asked.

"Blair took it with her." Francis said, "She also said that's how Ackerson was controlling you, Zak."

"No, I don't care about Ackerson anymore." I said shoving it aside, "Blair took the stone with her?"

"I did just say that, right?"

"Yeah, you did, I'm just double checking." A smile spread across my face and I found myself laughing.

"What's so funny?" Dad asked. I realized everyone was probably giving me a weird look; everyone except for Francis. I bet she'd explained everything to him.

"She took the stone with her." I said. "It's not funny, it's relieving. She took it with her!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, you're delusional. We're taking you back to the air ship." My mom said, "Doc help me carry him." Both my parents helped me up. It hurt like crazy and I probably had a few broken bones, but I didn't care. This entire disaster was over, and Blair took the stone with her. That was surefire promise that we would see each other again.

I was back in Paris. I don't know what it was about this place, but I loved it. Maybe it was the crowds that I could easily hide in, or maybe it was the whole sense of foreignness, but I liked Paris. I hadn't stashed the file Francis gave me in Paris, but I had come here to read it. It had been a week since Jeb Ackerson's downfall; It had been a week since I dropped off the grid; It had been a week since I said goodbye to my parents for who knows how long via letter; and it had been a week since I last saw Zak. My first grand adventure was over, but I'm pretty sure this file was the start of another.

I was sitting on a bench in one of the parks I had happened upon during my wondering and I was reading the file, but I couldn't make much sense out of it. There wasn't anything in here about Hanger 910 and there wasn't much on me, but there was plenty of other stuff. You'd think that that Francis would give me info about me. I was trying to figure out my past; figure out how I became what I am; so how is a file on some kid named Tyler Stroder going to help me? There wasn't a picture or anything just a lot of info about him.

"Excuse me?" I ignored whoever that was assuming that it was meant for someone else. Who would know me here anyways?

"Um…Excuse me." Someone poked my shoulder. I looked up and found a boy standing over me. He was Zak's height or maybe a little taller with eyes nearly identical to mine and short hair that was Auburn colored like mine, but more red than brown. "Are you Blair Allison?" he asked me almost nervously. I stood up immediately ready to run, but there was nothing about this boy that seemed threatening. Honestly there was something about him that was familiar.

"I know you." I said immediately.

"And I know you." He said. He held up a folder identical to mine, "I also have your file."

"Oh my gosh." I gasped, "Are you Tyler Stroder?"

"Yeah, I take it you're Blair Allison?"

"I have you're file." I told him holding up my own folder.

"Oh, that's nice."

"You look like me." I noted, "Like way to much like me."

"I was going to say the same." He returned.

"I swear I know you from somewhere." I said, "I just—I can't remember."

"Yeah I know the feeling."

"Okay, this is really weird, but first things first. How did you find me, and why do you have a file about me?"

"I don't really know. He just gave it to me and they gave me the coordinates and said I'd find the girl in the file if I went there."

"Who gave you the file?"

"Dunno. He didn't give me a name."

"What did he look like?"

"Kinda pale, I guess. He wore glasses and his eyes were green. I think he dyes his hair green. He looked my age." I dead panned.

"I know who you're talking about." I said, "His names Francis, he's a friend of mine. He's the one who gave me your file."

"Why?"

"Because he thinks it's important that we meet up. I'm trying to uncover my past, if I were to guess I'd say you're somehow part of it."

"If your past is as messed up as mine then I wouldn't blame you for wanting to find answers." Tyler mumbled. He laughed slightly then stopped when he noticed me watching him weirdly.

"You're not French are you?" I asked

"No and neither are you."

"I lived in Washington, what about you?"

"I lived in Georgia for a while then moved out to Arizona."

"Okay, so you're from the states. How'd you get to France?"

"Well how'd you get here?" he returned. We both just stood there watching each other for a while.

"You wanna get lunch?" I asked.

"That sounds like a good idea. I think we have a lot to talk about." He said, "Lead the way."

Believe it or not this is the final chapter. I really hope you all enjoyed the story. It was a lot of fun to write. I've always loved the secret Saturdays and i suppose you do two since you're reading this.
