about this chapter: Kassidy Vs. Black Konna

... Enjoy this chap!

ps. I loosely based Kassidy off of Harley Quinn from Batman... long story. and Azula... can't get any crazier than these two.

and Konna loosely off of Flutter-Shy and Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. and yes, i watch MLP:FIM. And you gotta deal with it! and a little off of Rose/Huntsgirl from American Dragon: Jake Long. and Zuko...

Ch, 25. According to you, according to him

Noahtok knew why his father hated Avatar Aang, but he never really understood why. He now knew. He saw it with his own eyes. Aang took a man's bending. A vile man that was harming people, but still. He also saw people abusing their bending as well. He began to think: if I could take people's bending, would their fighting end? He decided to perfect his blood-bending.

One day, it occurred to him that he needed people to back him up in his efforts. He tried to recruit Kya, but she shot him down. He was older now, a man, but she still rejected him. He wasn't a boy anymore. He didn't understand.

Heartbroken, he returned to the Northern Water Tribe. And found Konna.

Kassidy had found herself, and Avatar and company, at the Palace. She couldn't hear what they were talking about due to a humongous table and room.

Konna had left a few moments ago. Kassidy took this opportunity to get closer. Somehow, Konna always knew when Kassidy was around. Konna was back, showing everyone her scar.

'this is perfect, they're going to hate her now because she has to tell them how she got it and who gave it to her.' Kassidy smiled in the shadows.

The Avatar and company gasped.

"he was the one that kidnapped me all those years ago, thought me blood-bending, and scared me for life." Konna explained.

"wait." Korra scratched the back of her head. "isn't he…?"

"supposed to be… dead?" Asami finished.

Konna nodded. "I thought so too." She cringed. "until Kassidy showed up, but even then I thought she was lying. She almost always lies." She then started to shiver. "and then I saw him, at the fashion show. He was the one attacking."

"I thought that man looked familiar." Korra seem surprised.

Kassidy smiled vilely. It seemed they didn't even know she was there.

Konna looked over at where Kassidy was hiding. She dodged deeper into the shadows. Konna rolled her eyes.

"Is someone there?" Iroh stood up.

Konna rolled her eyes again. "we know you're there Kassidy." She called out.

Found out; Kassidy put on a fake smile and glided into the light. "you always know when I'm watching don't you?"

Again, Konna rolled her eyes. "ya, how could I miss you? You're always there. Just like the other night when I was on my date…"

"with the earth-bender boy!" Kassidy smiled wide.

"ya." Konna looked back over to Korra. "what do you want Kassidy?" she then looked over to the rest of the people at the breakfast table. "and don't give me that 'oh it's not what I want' crap." She looked back at Kassidy. "because I know exactly what you want."

"how clever." Kassidy gave a small bow and a vile smile. "alright, if you must know, your little earth-bender boyfriend is dead."

Konna rolled her eyes. "lie! Asami just talked to him. He's alive."

Mako stood up. "He's stronger than you think. He's not gonna let some assassins do him in like that."

Asami seemed shocked. "you said something nice about your brother!"

Mako rolled his eyes. "ya, he's my brother."

Kassidy smiled wide. "I see, so the boy and his brother are half breeds." She began to giggle. "Konna, why is a pure blood like you messing around with a half breed like him?"

Konna's eyes narrowed.

"who are you calling Half Breed?!" Mako walked over to Kassidy.

She smiled wickedly. "did I strike a nerve? Half breed?"

"that's it!" He readied a fire-fist.

"Mako!" Konna called out. He looked over at her as she pulled a ribbon out of a pocket in her skirt. "I've got this." She tied her hair up in a ponytail.

Kassidy seemed shocked and scared, but was soon smiling again. "Well, well, well, Black Konna has graced us with her presence. I'm so honored."

"Black Konna?" Korra, Asami, Mako, Iroh, and The Fire-lord gasped.

The sun was setting as Bolin looked over his shoulder as he walked down the street. Lin let him borrow a police uniform for extra protection. It was lighter than it looked. He liked it. He was even given the option of going to the academy to become an officer. He told her he'd think about it.

Tarrlok had called the station and wanted to meet Bolin outside the pro-bending stadium. Lin thought it was a trap and sent some men with Bolin, but they were undercover.

He saw Tarrlok leaning on a post. He looked hurt.

"are you alright?" he asked the former council member.

Tarrlok looked up at him and smiled softly. "I've been worse."

"so you wanted to talk to me?"

"ya, I had to warn you."

"about the assassins? I already fought off a few."

"no, that's not what I need to warn you about."

"then what? And why don't we take you to the hospital and get you a healer."

"no, if Noahtok finds out I'm gone, he'll do worse things to me. I'm already on thin ice with him. No, I need to warn you about Kassidy. She's going to kill Konna and blame it on you. Then my brother will really want you dead."

"how do you know this?"

"it's amazing what someone overhears. I heard her tell the assassins."

"oh."

Tarrlok glanced up and looked in his eyes. "you've gotten taller since the last time I saw you."

"thanks." Bolin became confused.

"by the way, I would like to know something."

"what is it?" Bolin asked curiously.

"how do you know The Blue Spirit?" Tarrlok breathed.

"The Blue Spirit?" Bolin seemed confused.

"ya, I usually get the Blue Spirit when I use the hand radio. But, I got you instead."

Bolin thought back to when he found the radio. It was hidden in a secret compartment in a wardrobe in Konna's room on Air Temple Island. He asked himself, 'could Konna be the Blue Spirit… I think she is.' he shook it off. "sorry Tarrlok, I don't know the Blue Spirit." He lied.

"oh, ok." Tarrlok stood up. "I have to go back now."

Bolin grabbed his arm. "no, I'm taking you to a hospital."

Tarrlok waved his arm and broke free from Bolin. "I'll be fine." He lied.

"Fine." Bolin gave up.

"Besides, you have to protect Konna." Tarrlok waved goodbye.

"she'll be fine." Bolin mumbled to himself.

Kassidy smiled as she readied herself for combat.

Black Konna growled. "this ends today." She almost shouted.

Korra, Mako, Asami, Iroh, and the Fire Lord were confused.

Konna bended the water out of the glasses on the table. She formed the water into ice spikes and sent them flying toward Kassidy. Whom quickly dodged.

"is that the best you got Black Konna?" Kassidy teased.

A smug smile found itself on Black Konna's face. "I'm just warming up."

Kassidy's smile faded as she blocked a fire ball from Black Konna.

"please take this fight outside." The Fire-lord spoke.

"alright." Black Konna started walking toward the door. "let's go."

Korra ran up to her. "what… who in the world is Black Konna?"

Konna looked up at her sister. Her eyes were narrow, hair up, and seemed to be a completely different person. Her warm kindness seemed to be gone, in its place was cold disposition that could chill anything. "Black Konna… I, am a defense mechanism that comes out to 'play' whenever the good Konna needs me to. I guess you could say I'm a reflex. I'm cold, bitter, sarcastic, and everything that goody-two-shoes Konna is not. I'm also more powerful."

"oh." Korra nodded.

Bolin found himself back in Konna's room. 'do you know the Blue Spirit?' He looked around again, this time he knew what he was looking for. He opened the wardrobe and lifted the board. The radio was still there, but it was laying on black fabric. He lifted the fabric and found the blue mask. "she is." He spoke to himself. He put everything back the way he found it. "I can't tell anyone." He walked out. "I won't tell anyone."

Outside, Konna and Kassidy were on opposite sides of a courtyard. Korra, Asami, Mako, Iroh, and the Fire-lord watched in horror.

The Fire-lord looked over at Korra for a moment. "This is where my father and Master Katara fought Azula for the Fire Nation."

Asami looked at Iroh. "it appears history is repeating itself."

Kassidy noticed the water flowing from a vent. She decided to trap Konna in ice, but Konna broke free. She used the water as a distraction and trapped Kassidy in a mound of earth. She walked over to her and smiled.

"you are now rendered helpless." Konna crossed her arms.

"get me outa here!" Kassidy struggled to get out.

"let me try something first." Konna put her hands on Kassidy's forehead and shoulder. She closed her eyes, but they soon flung open and shined a crimson red. She was soon back to normal and let the dirt go back into the ground.

Kassidy smiled. "you fool!" she tried to bend the water, but failed. "what did you do to me?!"

Konna took the ribbon out of her hair and returned to normal. "I took away your bending… the right way."

Korra, Asami, Mako, Iroh, and the Fire-lord gasped.

Konna smiled sweetly. "if you want it back, you're gonna have to be supper nice to my big sister. Because she can restore bending."

"it's not fair!" Kassidy fell to the ground and started crying.

Korra walked over to them. "did you really take her bending?"

Konna smiled softly. "yep, I watched you restore people's bending, as well as read Aang's account of how he defeated Fire-lord Ozai. So I put my knowledge together and figured out how to do it properly, instead of using blood-bending."

Korra pulled her into a hug. "ok." she began to cry.

Konna embraced her sister for a moment as a tear ran down her face, then let her go. "We have to get back to Republic City."

"Why?" Asami jumped down from where she was sitting.

Konna looked over the horizon. "I just got a really bad feeling that something big is about to go down. And that we need to be there."

Korra Nodded. "and that is why Tenzin lent us Oogi." She smiled as the bison in question appeared out of nowhere.

Konna smiled as she ran up to the beast.

Bolin watched the sun set from the top of a business building. He and Lin had traced Tarrlok's call and we able to get ahold of Noahtok. He had challenged him to a dual. Loser would leave the winner alone for the rest of their lives. Noahtok accepted the challenge but not the conditions.

Noahtok thought he could kill the boy himself and get it over with. Bolin wasn't sure if he'd win, but either way, he had a plan.

"Are you crazy?!" Lin almost yelled.

Bolin looked back at her as he was leaving her office. "maybe, but it's this or I die and he uses Konna like a puppet." He paused. "I'm doing this for her." He smiled softly at her. "if I don't make it, please make sure he doesn't get his hands on her."

She sighed and sat back in her chair. "I will."

"thank you." He smiled wide.

"meet you there?" she looked back up at him.

"ya." He nodded. "Thanks… Mom." He blushed.

She smiled, nodded, and blushed as well.

He stared out at the setting sun.

"am I early?" a man's voice came from behind him.
