A Loving Monster
Percy knew what they said about him, he knew what they said behind his back about him being sorted into the wrong house, how he should of been sorted into the Slytherin house because of his ambitious character. He was not oblivious to the dirty looks he got from his classmates and as the years progressed his co-workers.
'If I knew being hard working and ambitious would get me into this sort of situation I would of never have tried to make a better life for my family' Percy thought as he looked down at the paperwork in front of him with tears in his eyes 'If I had known that I was going to find myself married off to this monster I would of never of tried.'
"Come now love, do not be like that," the sinister voice cooed from behind Percy as arms wrapped around the Gryffindor preventing his escape, "You want to be with me forever do you not? You want to spend the rest of your long life with me don't you?"
As his once lover's words floated into his ears Percy bit his lip in an attempt to prevent the shudder from the man's words. The man holding him...he had once thought the world of him and would of done anything for him, he had cut off all ties with his family and even quiet the job that he had worked so hard to get. Now his whole world was centred around his prison and guard.
"Yes Elphistone," Percy replied making sure to keep any tone that Elphistone would not approve of out of his voice, he did not think he could cope with another round of violent beatings that Elphistone liked to call rough love making, "I am just going through the paperwork is all, I want to spend all of my life with you Elphistone, I do not want to have any loop holes that can tear us apart."
Percy bit his lip, hard, as he lied to Elphistone, he desperately hoped the man did not call his bluff or spot the loop hole Percy had found in the contract he had drawn up about abusing ones spouse. A sudden kiss full of insane praise was placed on top of his head followed by a tender nuzzle to the neck.
"My smart Percy, you are so smart," Elphistone cooed softly making Percy half force half relax himself into Elphistone's hold, it seemed that the aged male had not spotted the little loop hole, "I'm alive when I am with you, I feel so much better when we are together, I cannot believe that stupid woman decided to go and marry another man instead of me! But do not worry pet, we are together, we will not let anyone come in between us."
'Professor McGonagall made a smart choice, I wonder if I can send her a letter for help with the wedding party invitations without Elphistone knowing. She did offer her help...and Elphistone is her ex-boyfriend' Percy thought as he allowed Elphistone to cuddle him 'I have to get out of here, Elphistone is insane, he is a loving monster.'
"Percy," Elphistone said in a sing song tone causing a wave of fear to wash over Percy, "Why have you not picked the quill up and signing the document for?"
"Because I am savouring being in your loving hold," Percy replied quickly without giving Elphistone any time to jump to conclusions, "You know I enjoy being in your arms, feeling the safety that they bring."
"Someone is trying to weasel their way into my good graces," Elphistone cooed softly, much to Percy's relief he sounded pleased, "And it is working, it seems you are a perfect house wife after all."
"Thank you Elphistone," Percy replied as he felt the arms around him loosen slightly to allow him to move and sign the wedding contract, "Is the quill a self inking one?"
"Yes my beloved," Elphistone replied as he licked Percy's earlobe making the red haired male draw on all of his Gryffindor bravery not to shudder and run, "Everything is ready, all that is needed is for you to place your signature next to mine."
'Thank Merlin that Elphistone is far too gone in the head to double check for any loopholes, especially ones about spouses abusing their other spouse. I am glad that the alert spell on this document have not been removed' Percy thought in silent relief as he picked up the self inking quill, much to Elphistone pleasure if the low hum was anything to go by 'As soon as I sign this my hell will be over, the correct people will be notified and will be here in a blink of an eye.'
Percy was never so thankful that he had pushed the law to place a spell on all contracts that would alert the needed people at the Ministry of Magic if a contract was being signed against the signers will. He had also got the Minister to agree to get special spell creators to make sure the spell could not be removed from the contracts.
Feeling the hand on his upper right arm tighten ever so slightly in a silent warming Percy took a deep breath and placed the quill down on the paper only for the hand to loosen ever so slightly.
"Come now my love, what is all this for?" Elphistone asked as he nuzzled Percy's neck, "Do you not want to marry me? Do you want to be homeless without a single knut to your name? Do you not want me to give you the world and more? Do you not love me anymore?"
"I am just savouring the moment Elphistone," Percy replied stiffly as he did his best to keep his body from giving Elphistone any warning signs.
"Oh do not worry, we will be having a nice long honeymoon for us to enjoy that will last several months as soon as you sign that piece of paper," Elphistone said, buying Percy's lie, "So hurry up love and sign so we can be an officially married couple!"
Nodding his head in reply Percy allowed his hand to flow across the line as he signed the contact and lifted the quill. A second later the paper in front of him glowed a soft red light instead of a golden glow making Percy let out a silent sigh of relief.
The spell had worked, help was on the way.
End.
