It was barely just week when Lisanna had arrived at Magnolia with her husband Laxus.

Natsu was just sleeping right next to Lucy on her bed when suddenly the door burst open and his childhood friend who was three months pregnant was at the door with the look of sadness and betrayal. The rosy-haired college student was horrified when the pregnant woman took her shoe off and threw it right at his face.

He fell off the bed in record time, squealing like a girl when she took off her other shoe to throw it at him once more. But luckily, Laxus came before anything turned bloody.

"Lisanna, you need to calm down!"

"I—I can't! Lucy is—Lucy is..." Lisanna sniffled, her arm slowly falling to her side as she looked at her blonde best friend on the bed sleepily peacefully. Tears fell from her eyes as she threw the shoe right at Natsu who wasn't expecting it at all, yelping in pain as the white-haired woman threw herself on the hospital bed.

"Lucy! Wake up, Lucy! It's not funny anymore! I'm here, no need to play around anymore!" Lisanna cried out, grabbing the side of her face to laugh and cry at the same time. She sniffled and stared at the face of Lucy, waiting for her to respond but when she didn't, she started to wail real loudly.

Both the males cringed at the sound of the cries, Laxus quickly coming to his wife's side to comfort her.

"Lisanna, crying won't wake her up."

"Maybe it will! Like in the Disney movies?! Like how Rapunzle cried on Flynn Rider's face and the—and the glow! He came back alive! Lucy is alive! Maybe she'll wake up! Cry with me, guys!"

"Lis, it's not the time for you stupid Disney movie assumptions. This is real life—crying on Lucy won't wake her up." Natsu sighed, running his hand through his messy hair. "I tried," He mumbled under his breath, the two barely catching it. Lisanna gasped as tears brimmed in her eyes, watching Natsu look absolutely worn out to the sleeping beauty that was on the bed. She leaned forward and clamped her hands down on her childhood's shoulder before she started to wail, making him cringe slightly.

"Natsu, I'm so sorry! I'm sososo sorry!"

"What are you sorry about?"

"About Lucy! I know it's tough but we're all in this together so don't feel lonely! Okay? I'm sure she would be very sad to see you like this," Lisanna sobbed, grabbing onto the hands of the troublemaker. Natsu just nodded as she sniffled and looked over at Lucy once more, whining about how she missed her so much.

Natsu could only sigh, looking at Laxus who only gave him a small encouraging smile. "It'll be alright, we'll be here with you during the whole time."

"Thanks guys I really appreciate it—wait, the whole time?"

"Yeah, uh, we'll be living in Lisanna's old apartment till Lucy wakes up... that's what she said." Laxus said a bit sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. Natsu stared at Laxus till he opened his mouth to speak, being silenced almost immediately. "Please just go with it. She's pregnant and emotional and I couldn't even let her down without her throwing a tantrum!"

"Laxus, what the hell?! How am I supposed to deal with her and Lucy?! She'll cry and visit every day and I can't have that right now!"

"I can't do anything about it—she's made up her mind and it'll be that way till she thinks of some other crazy idea."

"Lis, you can't stay here till she wakes up! You'll never know when she'll wake up! You're three months pregnant, school is going to start in couple months, and we just don't need another person coming to visit crying daily! You need to take care of yourself!" Natsu shouted as he looked at the woman who stared at him blankly. The two were completely silent, Laxus giving him wide eyes as he silently telling him to run while he can. Natsu dismissed the fool behind Lisanna before looking back at her.

He raised a brow at her still figure, jumping half a mile when she lunged at him. "Are you telling me what to do?!"

"Lisanna! Calm down!" Natsu shouted as the woman slapped him in the arms. "I can do what I want to do! Lucy isn't just yours, she's mine! Forget you, she'll marry me! I'll be the one to stand and object to your stupid wedding! She doesn't deserve you!"

"Lisanna, what the fuck, calm down!"

"Babe, calm down, you're stressing yourself! Think about the baby!"

"I don't care! I want Lucy awake!" Lisanna cried out as she started to wail, leaving Natsu to stand there and watch with a horrified expression. Laxus frowned and embraced the woman as he rubbed her back soothingly, trying to comfort his crying wife. "It's okay, baby. She'll wake up eventually."

"If pregnant woman are this violent and scary, Lucy is never going to get a child."

"I mean—it's not that bad." Laxus shrugged, trying to think positive. Natsu gave him a look of disgust before walking on over to Lisanna who still continued to cry. He placed his hands on her shoulder and leaned down, looking at her teary face.

"Hey Lis... don't cry. You're ruining your beautiful face,"

"That doesn't work on me anymore, Natsu... that was so high school." Lisanna said as she playfully punched his chest. Natsu only chuckled, brushing the tears away from her pale face. "Lis, I know it's hard. It's hard on everyone to have such a beautiful creature sleep 24/7 and when she wakes up, I'll never let her sleep again. I love her, she's my life and without her, I'm nothing but an empty corpse. I'm waiting for the day where her eyes open and I can gaze into her beautiful brown eyes and where I can feel her warmth and her arms around me. I'm waiting for the day where I can hear her laughter and voice again—the only source I have is her stupid voicemail which I call everyday just to hear." He laughed softly, watching as Lisanna started to tear up again.

"So since I'm not giving up or anything, you'll have to not give up. Stop crying and take care of yourself because you're fat—"Natsu started to say but stopped as the white-haired woman gave him a glare. "I mean, pregnant. You want a baby that's healthy so don't stress yourself over Lucy too much, that's my job. So, stop crying, okay?"

"Geez Natsu, you big old sap." Lisanna laughed softly, rubbing her eyes. "I didn't know you can be this sweet and romantic."

"What are you talking about?! I was so sweet and romantic back in high school!"

"The only romantic thing I got from you was probably your stupid lizard that you named after me!"

"Hey, she was beautiful." Natsu pointed out, poking the forehead of Lisanna. "And you are too so shut your trap. You talk too much,"

"I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW, I CAN GET MY HUSBAND TO KICK YOUR ASS RIGHT HERE."

"Bring it on, buttercup!"

"Well, well, well, isn't this place lively as ever."

The three all turned to see the whole group by the door, Erza and Jellal, Gray and Juvia, and lastly Gajeel and Levy who seemed a bit too overwhelmed. Natsu's face shifted into confusion as Lisanna happily greeted everyone with a huge smile on her face. "What are you guys doing here? The room is already packed enough," Natsu huffed in annoyance as everyone entered.

It seemed a bit too crowded with the extra people in and Natsu suddenly felt claustrophobic. He went on over towards the door as it suddenly got loud, wanting to close the door before people started to complain. But as he was halfway there, a hand slammed against the side, startling Natsu to the fullest.

In came Loke Celestial with a big worried look on his face—the male looking as if he was just about to go do something but ended up in the hospital.

"Loke?!"

"Where is she?! Where is she?! Lucy?!"

"Oh shit, who invited playboy over here?" Gajeel asked as the orange-haired frantically pushed through people, making his way towards the bed where Lucy slept. He became still as he witness the blonde woman on the bed, sleeping peacefully. His eyes became watery before he ran on over to her bed, grabbing her head to lean down and kiss her lips.

The whole room became quiet awkward and the atmosphere changed into something very murderous. Juvia and Levy both moved out the way as they felt the deadly aura coming from the pink-haired male, sending chills down their back.

Natsu sprinted across the room before he grabbed Loke and gripped his shirt tightly, pulling him away from Lucy and to look him straight in the eyes. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!"

"I'm trying to wake her up! Because she's my princess and I'm her prince!"

"That's a load of bullshit! She won't wake up because you fucking kissed her! Why would you kiss my Lucy?! I'll fucking kill you!"

"Whoa, whoa, calm down guys!" Gray shouted as he pulled the two away from each other. "I'm sure it was a big misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding?! He fucking kissed Lucy! She's mine!" Natsu shouted as he lunged towards Loke again but stopped as Erza grabbed his scarf, choking him slightly. He jerked his scarf away from her hands and pulled on it, shooting a look at Erza before looking back at Loke. "What are you doing here? You're not welcome here."

"Now Natsu, he has a right to see Lucy." Lisanna scolded as she came between the boys. "But you don't have a right to kiss Lucy. She is property of Natsu Dragneel, you hear that?"

"I—I just wanted her awake... I—why is she asleep..?"

"That's what we're all trying to find out," Gray sighed, running his hand through his hair. The whole room became silent once more; the only thing that was heard was the heart monitor that went in a steady tempo.

Natsu wrenched himself between the two as he leaned down and gently whipped her pale pink lips, kissing them again to get rid of the bad taste Loke must have left. He sighed and put his hand against her head, looking directly at her beautiful face. "Lucy must be very stressed with this many people here and talking—if you guys don't have anything to say or do, just leave already." He murmured slightly.

Levy looked a bit broken but understood, walking on over to Lucy's bed and smile weakly. "Hey Lu-Chan, I got this cool new book recently and it's amazing. When you wake up, you can read it, okay? I'll just leave it right here and when you wake up, we can talk about it!" Levy said as her voice started to tremble, tears threatening to fall.

Gajeel sighed and went on over to his girlfriend's side, pulling her along. "Hurry up and wake up, bunny-girl. You're making everyone feel like shit,"

"Gajeel!" Levy scolded as they left the room, Erza being the one next to come up next to the blonde. She softly caressed the side of her face before leaning down to kiss her forehead. Natsu was shocked to see the red-haired warrior so gentle and heart-warming to another human being.

"Hey Lucy, when you wake up, I'll take you down to my favorite bakery and we can eat as many strawberry cakes! So... wake up soon, okay?"

Suddenly from the back, Lisanna started to wail, making everyone jump. Laxus frowned and pulled her out of the silent room as his wife started to cry once more, Erza following after with Jellal who only smiled sadly.

Next came Juvia who was crying from the start, Gray and her coming to the opposite side of Natsu who held onto his fiancé's hand tightly. Gray scowled and grabbed her other hand, noticing it was a bit colder than usual. Juvia whipped her tears away from her dark blue eyes as she couldn't get the courage to say anything. Gray didn't seem like he wanted to speak either so they only gave Natsu a look before exiting the room, leaving the couple as they were, with Loke by the side.

"I—I... we have to tell her father..."

"No!" Natsu shouted, startling the ginger. "You're just going to make everything worse! Just leave!"

"Natsu—I have to... her father and—"

"No, just shut up and leave! You have no say in this, just—just go already..."Natsu said as he didn't even give him a glance. Loke pressed his lips in a tight line before turning around and walking away. He gave the couple one last look before leaving the room, the room being only occupied by the lovely couple.

"Isn't he stupid, Luce?" Natsu said as he kissed her left hand where the engagement ring was. He was responded with a silence, pretending that he heard her agree with him. "Geez... kissing you and bringing up your lousy father... I would have beaten him up for you if that stupid icy bastard didn't get in the way!" He growled slightly, clicking his tongue in disapproval.

When he was greeted with the silence again, he started to break down slowly, sobbing into her pale cold hands.

"Lucy... hurry up and wake up, you weirdo..."

Natsu furrowed his brow as he looked at Lisanna who stood in front of him, holding a pink notebook in her hands.

"What?"

"Natsu Dragneel, I want you to write your feelings down in here."

"Do you think I'm gay or something—?"

"Natsu! Owning a diary and writing down your feelings inside it does not mean you're gay!" Lisanna scolded making him shrug nonchalantly. "I mean, most girls do it and I'm not really up for it. Why is it pink, anyways? Why couldn't you buy one where a unicorn was fucking jumping over a rainbow—"

"Alright, alright you little judgmental prick!" Lisanna scowled as she stuffed the notebook back into her bag. Natsu shrugged as the white-haired woman sat next to him on the loveseat, the two friends being silent as they stared at the blonde on the hospital bed.

"Natsu?"

"Hm?"

"How long as it been since you've gone out?"

"A week."

"Just go home, already."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Lucy doesn't like being alone."

Lisanna frowned and looked up at Natsu who continued to stare right at his fiancé, the silver-haired beauty reaching for his hand to grasp. She held the rough large hands of her childhood friend whom held her hand back, the doors opening once more to have Laxus step inside.

He had a couple of drinks in his hand and set them down against the bento box Lisanna brought in for him. Lisanna stood up as he came inside, walking on over to the neatly made and wrapped bento box, holding it out for Natsu who only stared at the couple. "Look, I brought your favorites Natsu! I made it look like Happy because he was right next to me while I was making this... he misses you."

"I miss him too," Natsu said as he stood up, walking on over to her. "Are you treating him well?"

"Of course! He's still the healthy cat he always was—but he seems a little scared of Laxus." Lisanna whispered towards Natsu who nodded slowly. He grabbed one of the boxes and a drink before walking on over to the couch, eating it slowly.

A small smile came on his lips when he tasted the familiar food. "Man... I haven't eaten your cooking since high school."

"Well, being the wonderful person I am, I always brought you food, didn't I?" Lisanna smirked in triumph, giving her husband a bento box as well. He gladly took one as he sat down on the chair, watching as his wife started to talk to her friend.

"I mean, your food wasn't that good in the beginning because you didn't know how to cook but I guess it progressed." Natsu shrugged as Lisanna looked a bit hurt. "My cooking was the best! Mira-Nee and Elf-Nii said so too!"

"They were just trying to help." Natsu snickered as he threw the top of the box at him. He dodged swiftly as he looked at the woman who only scowled in anger. "You are such a pig, Natsu!"

"Laxus, how do you deal with her?"

"I guess you just get used to it."

"Hey! I can hear you guys!"

X

"When are you leaving, exactly?"

"When I want to."

Natsu groaned as he lied against the couch in agony, staring at the ceiling as Lisanna knit something like a hat while Laxus was looking through a magazine. He felt absolutely dreadful hanging with Lisanna for the full day just because she was started to be so needy—giving him things, telling him what to do, and asking for things which he simply didn't want.

Laxus couldn't do a thing about it either since Lisanna was the one who obviously wore the pants in the relationship and having a pregnant woman angry wasn't the ideal prize for him.

And so, there she was, happily knitting something and humming some tune for the whole entire day.

"Lis, don't you think you'll need to go home?"

"Nah, I'm fine."

"It's almost eight."

"Why? Are you hungry? We can go out and eat if you like,"

"For the last time, I'm not leaving!"

"That's fine with me too."

Natsu groaned loudly as he just wanted to bang his head against the wall.

That was true; he never won an argument with Lisanna in the first place. He would always just end up agreeing or making her upset back in high-school and it's the same with Lucy now. Maybe he did pick his woman like the next—Lisanna and Lucy were almost alike in personality wise. Maybe that was why he was attached to Lucy in the beginning—she reminding him of his first love, his high school sweetheart.

But now that he was with Lucy, she remained his sweetheart forever.

"Hey Natsu, can we watch a movie in here?"

"Lisanna, just go home already!"
