Chapter 25: The New Enemy
Kushina looked at Reiji from across the field as Kankuro stood in between them. "Alright this is the final round. Congratulation to you two for making it this far. Now Kushina are you ready?"
"Yes." said Kushina
"Reiji are you ready?" asked Kankuro
"Yes." said Reiji
"Alright begin." said Kankuro as Kushina disappeared in a flash of light. She appeared just behind Reiji with a kunai in hand. Reiji spun around and grabbed Kushina's arm and threw her over his shoulder. When Kushina was flying through the air Mai launched her attack, fire danced around Mai's entire body as she tried to hit Reiji however she could never get close to him as a gust of wind would fling him back.
"A pretty good idea." Thought Sasuke as Kushina and Mia kept up her constant assault on Reiji as three clones tried to punch Reiji's lights out. While anther two clones tried to hit Reiji with kunais at a distance. "However you can't keep it up forever."
Finally one of Kushina's clone's fists impacted Reiji's face sending him flying backwards into the wall. "Alright now!" yelled one of the clones as all five clones gathered together before charging at Reiji who had just appeared out of the hole. Reiji dodged Kushina's attack.
"All right I grow tired of this." said Reiji as he punched one of the Kushina. Kushina's face bent under the impact as the four other clones disappeared.
"How did you know I was the real one." asked Kushina as a small amount of blood ran down her chin.
"Please I always knew which was the real you." said Reiji "Well I think it's time for me to go on the assault." With that Reiji ran through hand signs as the sky above turned into a dark cloud. "Ice Rain jutsu!" Kushina's eyes widened as dark shapes formed inside the cloud. Suddenly spears of ice came shooting out of the cloud toward Kushina who rolled across the sand to avoid those Ice spears hitting just behind her.
"Mai, Now!" yelled Kushina as again a dome of demon fire surrounded Reiji. Kushina stood back up as the cloud above her head disappeared.
"We got him trapped now. No one can stand against this type of demon fire" Said Mai as she appeared next to Kushina. However suddenly the fire roared even hotter as suddenly a figure appeared through the flames. "It can't be!"
"Yes it can." said Reiji as he walked through the flames without a mark on him.
"Well if you can't burn looks like I will just have to beat you senseless." Said Kushina as she disappeared in a flash of light before reappeared just above him her foot coming down.
"Please." Said Reiji as he went to block Kushina's foot only suddenly a curved blade shot out of the bottom of Kushina's boot. There was no time to reactive the blade found its mark. It went deep into Reiji's lower arm. The instant it went in Kushina twisted her body so that she could place her hands on the sand, her other foot released another blade that went in on the other side of Reiji's badly twisted arm. Using her hands she spun her body again this time forcing Reiji into the air. Then she focused some chakra into the release machines for her hidden blades in her boats that ripped both blades out of Reiji's arm. However it wasn't the end the force that Reiji had from being in the air sent him flying into the wall once again. When that was done Kushina jumped back to her feet.
"We don't have much chakra left." Said Inner Kushina
"I know, I may have the ability for one more Rasengan but after that I am done." said Kushina as Reiji once again appeared, blood ran down his arm and a large chunk was missing.
"You are better then I though, Kushina Namikaze." Said Reiji as he looked at Mai and Kushina
"You shouldn't underestimate people." said Kushina
"You are right but I believe it is time for me to finish my mission." Said Reiji as he took some of his blood from the wound
"What mission?" asked Kushina as Reiji smiled.
"You will see. Summoning Jutsu!" said Reiji as he ran through hand signs. Suddenly a large round black hole appeared next to Reiji. With that everyone watched as a black spinning hole appeared next to him.
"What type of summon is that?" asked Sakura
"I have no idea." Said Naruto just before a figured walked out of the hole. It made, all the Namikazes eyes widened because there stood an all black fox with glowing red eyes and a single black tail swished back and forth.
"So this is Mai, daughter of weakling nine tailed Kyuubi." said the fox
"I don't know who you are but you better respect my dad." said Mai as the fox grinned showing off its shinny teeth.
"My lord is far above your father and his council." said the fox "See I am Saita son of Lord Sakito."
"I know all the lords on the council and your father isn't on it." said Mai with a grin. Suddenly Saita started laughing.
"I wouldn't believe you know him because he is the great grandson of Satomi the 10 tailed Quantum fox." said Saito as Naruto looked to his side to look at the Kyuubi to see if it was true. The Kyuubi didn't have to say a word the look said it all. Kyuubi had a look of pure terror; he wasn't moving just looking at the black fox.
"There is no such thing as a ten tailed fox." said Kushina
"Shut up foolish human. I will let the foolish Kyuubi fill you on the details." said Saito before he looked up at the Kyuubi. "I give you notice we are free. As such we will start again in four years time. Do you understand Kyuubi?"
"Yes, I do." said Kyuubi back down
"Good, until then Kyuubi." With that Saito turned to leave through the hole.
"Wait aren't you going to help me, win this fight?" asked Reiji his answer came in the form of the fox's tail whipping around cutting Reiji's arm almost off. Kankuro and several medics ran in to save his life as the fox spook up again.
"No, foolish human" said Saito "You have served your purpose."
"Stop!" yelled Kyuubi as he appeared in a ball of flames in front of Saito
"What do you want?"
"I want to know, how are you free? After all this time, How?" asked Kyuubi as Saito grinned.
"You should thank those foolish humans from the Ice village, they uncover the seal allowing us to return." said Saito before looking up at the Ice Kage. "Oh by the way human, I wouldn't bother returning to your home, it is already destroyed."
"What, we had a deal. We free you and we would rule the human world you the demon world!" yelled the Ice Kage
"Why rule one when we can so easy have them both." said Saito as he looked up at the Ice Kage his eyes flashed black as a second black hole opened below the Kage. He had no time to reacted he was pulled down into nothingness. The moment he fell the opening closed. "Well I must be going now, until we meet again." With that he walked into the opening and disappeared.
"Dad, what is happening?" asked Mai as she looked her dad.
"Mai stay with your mother, there are things I need to do." said Kyuubi as he disappeared in a ball of flames.
"Sakura what is happening?" asked Naruto as Sakura the 8 tailed demon fox of wind snapped out of a blank stare she had been doing as she sat next to Sakura.
"Kyuubi went to inform the demon council that the Quantum foxes have returned." Said Sakura
"Who are the Quantum foxes?" asked Sakura as Sakura looked up at her.
"They are the most powerful demon type ever too be. They control space and time itself and are far above Kyuubi or any other foxes." said Sakura
"What happened to them?" asked Naruto as Sakura lowered her head
"There was a war. The last great demon war." said Sakura "Kyuubi-kun's great grandfather and the rest of the council at the time waged a war against the Quantum foxes."
"So you guys won." said Naruto as Sakura shook her fox head.
"NO, we lost." said Sakura as Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"If you lost then why are still alive?" asked Sakura
"Maybe lost
wasn't the right world. All hope was lost we were up against the
ropes as
you humans put it. Then a bold plan was put into effect
it would either work and defeat the quantum foxes or kill every demon
fox." said Sakura
"What?" asked Naruto
"It is
actually something you will find filmier, Naruto. Kyuubi's great
grandfather used a seal to trap all the quantum foxes in their own
world apart from all others at the cost of his own life. The seal was
lost through the ages apparent somehow it has been opened.

they have fulfilled their part according to the old code."

Sakura
"What did they do?" asked Gaara "And why did Kyuubi have to inform this demon council so fast."
"He went to inform the council that we have only four years to prepare." answered Sakura
"Prepare for what?"
"War, Naruto." said Sakura as Naruto's eyes widened along with everyone else in ear shot
"War?" asked Sakura making sure she heard right. Fox Sakura nodded her head.
"Yes, A Demon Fox War. The likes that haven't been seen in over 32 million years." said Sakura.
"So four years from now a war will begin." Asked Gaara
"Yes, but you humans can't fight." Said Sakura
"You heard him they want to rule this world. Suna will bow to no one." Said Gaara
"You can fight but it will be of no use, a demon is immortal and impervious to all your attacks." Said Sakura
"I can't believe I am going to say this, how about sealing them, like my dad sealed the Kyuubi in me." asked Naruto as Sakura shook her head again.
"No, the only reason why that worked in the first place was because Kyuubi-kun was mental affected by my death. Any normal demon fox would have seen the building up of chakra and had placed his own seal protecting himself." Said Sakura
"So there is nothing we can do?" asked Sakura
"There is one thing." said fox Sakura
"What"
"Pray that we win, because if we lose the human world will be destroyed along with ours." said Sakura
Well I am sorry for the delay but my editor and me had tests. Also now my editor has problems and is no longer able to keep going. So for a bit I am going to do self editing so please forgive me if something is wrong. Well back to the story. I hope you liked it and please review.
