Disclaimer: I do not own The Vampire Diaries in any way, shape, or form! I do own Victoria Addler and Sidney Weaver!
Author's Note: HEHEHEHE I AM EVIL.
Your guys responses to the Didney scene has literally been the BEST thing I have ever seen! But I should say this: They really are just friends. Sid was drunk and high off of human blood, Damon was drunk and high off of human blood, IT MEANT NOTHING. It was literally just for fun. And I was planning on making it a running joke, so like, when Damon sleeps with someone, Sid will be like "Oh, who would want to sleep with you?" And then Damon would be like, "Well, you did." LOL. So yeah, still just friends.
P.S. WriteToEscapeReality1309 has made me a new poster for this story! I love it so much and I'm so happy with it! Thank you so much! This chapter is dedicated to you! :)
Enjoy!
Sidney's POV...
Ohh, my head...
I woke up with a pounding headache. I carefully open my eyes, and when I do, I realize that I'm not in the guest room. I scrunch my eyebrows. This room looks a little familiar. I look down, and see that I'm not wearing any clothes. I internally gasp. What did I do last night? I felt hungover. Maybe I picked someone up at the bar. I carefully look over to the other side of the bed to see who the person was, and almost screamed when I saw Damon Salvatore, who wasn't wearing any clothes either.
Flashes of last night come to me altogether. Damon and me sharing a bottle of whiskey, Damon taking me human hunting, us drinking again, Damon and I dancing together, more drinking, Damon and I making out...
Oh dear Lord, someone keep me away from alcohol for the rest of my life.
He was still asleep, so I have to pray that he doesn't hear me. As carefully and quietly as vampirely possible, I pull the sheets off of me. There's an abandoned towel on the ground, so I pick it up and wrap it around my naked body. I turn to the door, and I almost screamed when I saw Damon at the door, still not wearing any clothes.
"Well, good morning to you too," Damon teases.
I cover my eyes. "Please put on some clothes," I say.
"Really? Well, that's odd. You were so eager to get them off last night," Damon teases, walking towards me.
When I open my eyes, I see that he had the decency to put on some pants. Well, that is probably all I'm going to get. "Okay, I need to go home," I say, and dive to the ground for my clothes.
"Oh, but you can't," Damon says, sitting on the bed.
"And why not?" I say, moving to the door, but like before, Damon was standing in front of it again. "A couple things. First, is that your clothes are covered in blood. You wouldn't make it one block away from here before people start asking questions or they start insisting on calling you an ambulance."
He makes a good point, but I roll my eyes at his arrogance anyways. "And your second point?" I ask.
Damon grabs my hand, and lifts it up. Then he lifts up his own. "What is on my hand that yours lacks?" He asks.
My heart sinks all the way to my stomach as I stare at the ring on Damon's finger. "A Daylight ring," I whisper to myself.
"Yeah," he says, dropping my hand. "You wouldn't make it off of the porch before, well, you know, 'ashes to ashes'," He smirks.
I roll my eyes again and move to sit on the bed. "So, what do I do?"
"Well, you have two options," He says. "Option number one, we can go back to what we started last night..."
I give him a look and say, "Next option."
"...Or, you can take a shower, and I can cook us up a yummy breakfast," Damon says with mock enthusiasm.
"I don't have clothes, though," I say.
Damon walks over to his closet, pulls out a blue shirt, and tosses it to me. "There. Blue's a good colour on you. You're lucky your jeans are a dark colour, you can't see the blood," He points over to a corner of his room. "Bathroom's over there."
I don't say anything, and just move over to the bathroom. "What, no 'thank you'?" He asks. I ignore him, and go into the bathroom. I go over to the shower, and turn it on. "Of all the stupid things you've done, Sidney Forbes, this is the worst," I say to myself as I slipped into the bath. I take a quick shower, put on my pants and Damon's shirt, then quickly run a brush through my hair. As I was walking out of Damon's room, I run into my personal nightmare: Stefan Salvatore.
He looks from me, to Damon's room, then back to me. "What were you doing in Damon's room?" He asks.
Oh crap! "Um, I was looking for q-tips."
Luckily, Stefan seems to have bought it. "Oh. Well, I have a lot in my bathroom. Go there next time. I don't want you around Damon as much as you don't want him to be around you."
"Right," I say, then Stefan's eyes travel to my shirt. "Why are you wearing Damon's shirt?"
Damn it, Stefan! Stop being observant! "Damon spilled bourbon on my shirt last night and ruined it. So, I stole one of his. I'm planning on ruining it later," I say the last bit in a whisper.
"Okay, well, I'm off to school. Hey, I'm sorry that you have to stay in the house all day. I know how much you hate being cooped up in here. But the good news is, I think you're ready to be around Tori again," He says.
I break out into a smile. "Oh, thank you, Stefan!" I say, then grab him in a hug.
He hugs me back. "You're welcome, Sid," Then he pulls away. "I gotta get going. I'll see you soon."
I stay upstairs until I hear the front door shut. After I do, I carefully walk downstairs to the kitchen. Damon turns around, and holds up two blood bags. "Breakfast for two," He says.
My face changes, and I run for it, but when I get there, Damon keeps it out of reach. "What? No good morning kiss?"
I let my face change back, rolling my eyes as I did so. "Give me the blood bag, Damon," I say.
"Hmm, not without a kiss," He says, trying to ridicule me. I roll my eyes, but give him a quick kiss. "That's better," He says, handing me the bag.
I walk over to the living room, and I sink into the couch. I take a sip from the bag, and sigh happily. Then I take out my phone, and see that I had over 20 voicemails. All from Tori.
I roll my eyes, and quickly dial her number. "Oh my God, Sidney! How are you? I've been calling and texting you since last night."
Yeah, I was probably busy with Damon. "Yeah, sorry about that. I've had a headache since last night," I tell her.
"Okay, I forgive you. How are you doing?"
"Okay I guess. It's getting really tiring staying in a house all day long."
"I'm sorry," She says. "I'll ask Stefan later about something we can do. How's it going with Damon?" she asks.
"Don't, bring it up," I say slowly, taking another sip.
"Yikes. That bad, huh?" She asks.
I look over to Damon in the kitchen, who gives me a smirk, obviously eavesdropping on my conversation. "Oh, you have no idea."
Tori's POV...
I parked my car into the school parking lot. Jeez, I wish that Stefan didn't pick today to come back to school. I still feel a little shaky after my dance with Damon and after my stupid dream of Damon. I pull into a spot, and as soon as I do, Stefan's red car came into view, and he parked next to me.
"Oh, God," I murmured to myself. I compose myself, giving Stefan a sweet smile as I get out of my car. "Look who's being bold," I say, gesturing to his car.
"Thought it was a waste to leave it in the garage," He says, and leans over to kiss me. I feel the same rush of excitement that I do whenever Stefan kisses me. I'm smiling when he pulls back. Why was I worried about Damon again? "You should have told me that you were coming back to school today. I would have brought the welcome back cake that I baked the other day."
"I think it's a good thing that you didn't. According to Elena, you can't cook," He said.
I gasp, and smack him on the arm. "Hey! My twin is evil, don't listen to her," I say. "So why are you back?"
"Well, I woke up this morning, I was feeling great and I figured it was time for me to get back into things," He said.
"So, are you finally okay?" I ask. "The cravings are okay?"
I only asked to see his reaction. "Yeah, I mean the worst part is over so…"
The lying bastard.
"Now all I want to do is just spend as much time with you as possible."
I just give him a weak smile. He leans down to kiss me, but with the knowledge that he just lied to me, right to my damn face, doesn't really put me into the mood.
"We're gonna be late," I say quickly, before his lips have a chance to capture mine.
Stefan just smiles ruefully, and pulls back. "Okay, uh, you know what? I'll catch up with you, I'm gonna grab my stuff. I'll be right behind you."
I nod. "Yeah, sure, fine," I say, and quickly start walking towards the school. I look behind me, and see Stefan go to his trunk. Looking both ways to make sure no one was watching, I ran for the bunch of trees on my left side. I walk along them, making sure I was kept hidden the entire time. I quickly dove behind the cars in the parking lot, and creeped up behind the row of them. I must have looked like a total weirdo to the few people that were still in the lot.
Stefan reaches into his trunk, closes it, then starts walking towards the school. Once I'm sure he's far away enough, I dash for his car. I quickly check the doors, but he's locked them. Then I go to the trunk, and just stare at it, hoping the idea will pop out at me.
My bangs fall in front of my face. I hastily brush it back, and re-adjust my hairpin so that it stayed.
My hairpin! That's it!
Thanks to my cousin being a sort of crook (long story) he taught me how to pick locks, in case I needed the information. I always used to think 'When am I ever going to need it?'. Today, I thank you, cousin Michael.
I quickly pick the lock, and the trunk pops open. I grin in triumph, but the grin falls when I see what I was thinking I would.
Maybe over 50 empty blood bags from the Mystic Falls hospital.
"That little rat!" I say to myself. I grab one of the empty bags, and stick it into my backpack. I close the trunk, and pull out my phone as I run towards the school so I wouldn't be too late.
"World's Boredest Vampire, how may I help you?" Sidney says when she answers her phone.
"Is Damon there?" I ask as I walk towards the front doors.
"No. He said he had some sort of errand to run and took off. Why?"
"Because I need to ask you to do something, and I'm not sure I want him to know," I answer.
"What?"
"When Stefan's at home, keep an eye on him," I say.
"Why? What's wrong with him?" She asks.
"He's still on human blood. And he lied to my face about it," I say, and frown at the memory. "Listen, I'm gonna be late, come over later and we'll talk more, okay?"
"Okay..." She says, and we both hang up as I walk into Ric's classroom.
I open the door so quietly, and Ric's back is facing me, so I quickly tip toe to my seat when I hear him say, "Ah, Tori! So nice of you to join us. I presume you were studying about our great town of Mystic Falls?"
Studying? I knew more than I should. Well, up to halfway of season 2. "Of course I was, Mr. Saltzman! Our town's history is more important to me than missing your lesson, I'm so sorry," I say, causing a few students to laugh.
"Have a seat, Tori," Ric says, giving me a look.
"Okay," I say, and scramble to my seat. When I sit down, I immediately start looking for Bonnie, and when I find her, I smile hugely and wave. She smiles and waves back, but when her eyes travel behind to where Stefan sits, her smile turned cold, and she turned back to face Alaric at the front.
My phone buzzes, but Ric's too busy to notice. I slide my phone out of my pocket, and see a text from Stefan. Where were you? It read.
I look over my shoulder at Stefan, and mouth, "I'll tell you later," Before pointing towards Ric. He nods, and I turn my head back to the front to listen about the town's history as the empty blood bag burns a whole through my bag to my leg.
Sidney's POV...
I was just laying down on the couch, minding my own business when the door suddenly opens. I sit up, ready to fight, but it was just Damon, and some light skinned woman with red hair. I prepared myself to blush in embarrasment, when I remembered that my blood didn't pump anymore. I would never blush again. Well, at least one good thing came out of it.
"Pretty Kitty, meet Ashley. Ashley, this is Pretty Kitty," He said, pointing from me, back to the woman-or Ashley-, back to me.
"It's Sidney," I automatically say.
"Nice to meet you," She says, extending her hand.
I just stare at her hand before turning to Damon. "What's going on?"
"Manners, Pretty Kitty," Damon said. "Ashley is a witchy friend of mine. We met a while ago. I did her a favour, and now she owes me one."
I step back slightly as my face contorts. "If this is your freaky way of suggesting a threesome, then you're way more twisted than I thought."
"Relax, Sid," He said. "Ashley is gonna make you a Daylight ring."
My eyes light up. "Really?"
She nods. "Really. Do you have anything? A ring, necklace, bracelet?"
I look down, and realize that I'm not wearing any jewelry. "No, I don't."
"Wait!" Damon said, and reaching into his pocket. He pulls out a ring, and passes it to Ashley. "Here you go."
She smiles at him and takes it out of his hands. "Okay, it'll take a couple minutes."
As she starts the spell I ask Damon, "Where the hell did you get that?"
He shrugs. "From your house, where else?"
"But how did you-" I start, about to ask where he came in. The realization dawned on me, and I clenched my hand shut. "I am going to kill Caroline." I point a finger in his direction threateningly. "NEVER, go in my room again, understand?"
He puts his hands up in surrender. "Fine, fine. But I do have to say, you have a nice variety of underwear," He says, cocking his eyebrow.
Ugh, how did I sleep with this guy?
Ashley's finished by the time Damon and I are done talking, and she hands the ring to me. "Here you go."
I take it, and put it on my right ring finger. "Does it work?"
"Only one way to find out," Damon said, and grabbed my arm, leading me towards the front door. I follow, and he swings the door open. I brace myself for the burning pain, but there was nothing except a mild irritation on my eyes. I opened them, and tried blinking the sun out of my face.
"It worked! It worked!" I say happily. "No more shut up in a house, no more sitting in a dark room, I'm free!" I say, and run outside. I swirled around over and over again, just because I could. I fall back on the grass, and laugh in contentment. Ashley's passing by me on the way to her car as I stand up. "Thank you so much," I tell her.
"No problem," She says. "Damon did save my life. Of course, he was trying to sleep with me, but my boyfriend didn't really like that idea."
We both laugh, and she gets into her car before driving off. I look back towards the front door, and see Damon standing at the doorway. I'm about to start walking back inside the house, when I realized I didn't have to be here anymore. "Bye bye, Damon! See you around!" I say, and run into the forest. I take my dear sweet time walking, letting my hands fall against the trees. I swing around them, and even climb a few. I finally have this vampire strength that I can use to do fun things.
It felt good to be free.
Tori's POV...
After class, I ran right for Bonnie. She was already out the door by the time I got out of my chair, and I had to call her name to get her attention in the swarm of kids. "Bonnie! Bonnie!" I shout.
She turns around the second time I call her name. She gives me a weak smile. "Hey."
"Hey, I tried to get to you after class but you already gone," I say, and my voice goes gentle. "How have you been? How's your family?"
"We're dealing," She answers. "It's been hard."
"I'd imagine so," I say. I remember how upset I was when my grandfather, who was my best friend, passed away. "We all really missed you here."
"Yeah, I just had so much to deal with after Grams' funeral and, honestly after you told me the tomb spell failed I just didn't want to come back," Bonnie explains.
I smile gently. "I hope you understand why I called. Elena and I thought that it would probably be best for you to know before you came home."
"I understand why. I just… shouldn't know," Bonnie says.
"Look, I know it must be really hard…" I start, but I get cut off by Caroline running over.
"Bonnie! Bonnie! Thank god you're home!" She says, hugging Bonnie tightly. "I know we talked everyday but I missed you."
Ugh, really? She wouldn't answer mine or Elena's, but she would answer Caroline's?
"How are you doing?" Care asks Bonnie.
"Better. Better. You know, glad to be back and trying to keep myself busy," Bonnie says.
"Well, I can help with that," Care says brightly. "Major wardrobe problem. You need to help me pick up the perfect dress for the Founder's court."
"The Founder's court?" A new voice says, and I turn my head to see Elena beside me. She looked from me to Caroline. "Did we miss something?"
"The Founder's court!" Caroline says again. "You know, Miss Mystic Falls. They announced it today and you, Tori, I are all on it."
"Oh my god! We signed up for that so long ago…" Elena says.
I nod. "Yeah, I completely forgot." I was in Miss Mystic Falls? Well, this was great.
"So, are you dropping out then?" Caroline asks.
Elena immediately shakes her head. "We can't," She pauses before looking back over at me. "Well, at least I can't."
"If you won't, then neither will I," I decide.
"No?" Caroline asks.
"Their mom is the one who wanted them to enter," Bonnie says.
"Well technically, Tori didn't want to do it, but Mom managed to convince her," Elena says.
More info to go on! "Well, she sure made it sound fun," I say.
Sidney's POV...
I eventually went back to the boarding house, because Tori had asked me to keep an eye on Stefan.
When I walked back into the house, Damon comes to the door. "What are you doing back? You're technically not on house arrest anymore."
"Well, it's still school hours and I don't want my mom to know that I've been cutting the last few days," I swiftly lie.
"Hmm," Damon says, and just as he does, the front door opens again, and Stefan walks in.
"How was school?" Damon asked him.
"Fine," Stefan answered.
I felt a buzz in my pocket, and I fished my phone out. It was a text from Tori. It was a picture of a blood bag, and the message said, From Stefan's car. With another fifty. Don't trust him if he says he's okay.
I look back up at Stefan, my eyebrows furrowed. Saint Stefan was really drinking human blood again and lying about it?
"Yeah? Same old, same old? Nothing new? No stories to bring home?" Damon asks.
"You're making small talk, why?" Stefan retorted.
"You seem awfully chipper lately, less doom and gloom, a little more pep in your step," Damon teases.
"And you think it's because I drank human blood again," Stefan says.
"I don't want to brag but I would definitely take responsibility for this new and improved you," Damon said, and I can't help but swat at his arm.
"Well, I hate to burst your bubble but I'm clean," Stefan says, and I sort of narrow my eyes at him.
"Yeah, not possible," Damon said.
"Not only isn't it possible but it is quite true," Stefan swiftly lies. Hmm. I might have to go digging into his car later.
"Stefan, just be serious for a second. You spent the last century and a half being a poster child for Prozac and now you expect me to believe that this new you has nothing to do with human blood. Nothing," Damon said.
"I'm clean," Stefan insists.
"You're lying!" Damon exclaimed.
"Believe what you want," Stefan said, before he walked out of the room.
Damon and I both looked after Stefan, before at each other. "What are we going to do? He's obviously lying."
"I know," Damon said, rubbing his eyes. "We're gonna have to do something. The town's secret council is on to him. He's stealing from the local hospital's blood bank."
"I'm sure we'll figure something out," I say. "Listen, I have to go home, but I'll talk to you later. Call me if anything happens," I tell him.
He nods. "Yeah, sure."
"Bye," I say, before moving towards the door. I stop before turning around. "Do you feel awkward at all?" I asked him.
He shrugs. "No."
I sigh in relief. "Good," I say, before opening the door and walking out.
Tori's POV...
Elena's making sandwiches for us as I talk to Stefan on the phone. "I'm sorry it's such short notice. I didn't even know that the contest was coming up much less that I would be in it," I say, and that whole part was really true. Truth was, I was inviting Stefan partially because I wanted him to be my date, but it was also to keep my eye on him.
"I will be happy to escort you anyway," Stefan said.
I stop beside Elena, who was cutting a sandwich in half. "My mom was really into this Founder's day stuff. She was even Miss Mystic in her day. I kind of want to do it for her. Also, Elena doesn't think I can beat her," I say, turning my head to give my sister a glare.
"Because she can't," Elena said, and went back to the food.
Stefan chuckles on the other end. "It'll be great, we'll have fun."
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow. I love you," I say.
"I love you too," Stefan says, and we both hang up. Elena slides a plate to me, and I take it. "I'm gonna be upstairs if you need me," I say.
She nods. "Okay."
I grab a water bottle from the fridge, and then go up to my room. I put my plate on my side table, and reached beside to get my bag that had my laptop in it. When I reached in to pull it out, my hand came in contact with something plastic and squishy, and when I pulled that out, it was the blood bag that I had stolen from Stefan's car.
I stared at it, and huffed. I mean, he lied to Elena about it in the show, but I was so pissed that he had lied to me. I couldn't bring myself to throw the bag away in case I needed it, so I went over to my desk and dropped it into the first drawer.
When I looked up, my eyes fell on the rose that Damon had given me during the last Founders event. After staring at it for a bit, the memories of our dance came floating back to me. My cheeks started heating up when I remembered my dream, and I lunged for my phone. I quickly dialed Sidney's number.
"Hey," She says.
"Can you come over?" I ask quickly.
"Yeah, sure, is something wrong?" She asks, obviously detecting the urgency in my voice.
"Just get over here as soon as you can," I say, and I hang up. Ten seconds after I do, there's a knock on my window. I yelp, turning to where the noise was. And it was Sidney.
I went over to the window, pulling it open. "Why didn't you just use the front door?"
"That didn't really occur to me," She says as she climbs in. Sidney perches herself on my bed. "So what's the emergency?"
"Okay, so it's about Damon," I say, sitting on my bed next to her.
Her eyes widen for about two seconds before they go back to normal. "What about Damon?"
"So you know how we danced together?" I asked, and she nodded. "Well, that night, I actually dreamed about it."
"What do you mean? Did you dream about your dance, or Damon?" She asks.
"Well, both," I say. "First, it was Stefan and I dancing, but when Stefan spun me out, and then back in, it was Damon. And I didn't pull myself away from him. I kept dancing. And then when he tried to kiss me, I didn't do anything to stop him. But I did wake up before he could," I finish in one breath. "The dance...it felt good. It felt, I don't know, sort of right?" I say the last part as a question, since I didn't even know the answer myself.
Sidney's face is absolutely priceless. She looked like she was still trying to process it. "Okay, then all you have to do is never dance with Damon again."
"Never dance with him again? Is that really all the advice that you have?" I asked her in disbelief.
"Well I could have said never speak to him again, but you'll end up in contact with Damon no matter what you do. So just never dance again, and you'll never feel like that again. At least with Damon."
Her plan would have totally been a good one, until I remembered one crucial detail. "Miss Mystic!" I exclaim.
"Ugh, I never want to hear those two words again! Caroline won't stop talking about it. What about it?" I ask.
"In the episode, Stefan is off draining one of the contestants, and Damon has to escort Elena instead. And that's when they dance again. Stefan is my escort, so if he still goes off with the Amber chick, I'll have to dance with Damon again!" I exclaim. I grab Sidney's arms. "You have to watch Stefan! Make sure he doesn't go anywhere."
"Okay, okay!" She says, and I let go of her. "Damn, you're strong for a little thing."
TBC...
Trouble in paradise for Tori, eh? With a boyfriend who is back on human blood and lying about it (which she knows about) and not being able to get her boyfriend's brother off of her mind, what is she going to do?
So now Sidney is a woman on a VERY important mission. What could possibly go wrong?
Yeah, SO SORRY FOR THE SHORTNESS. This episode has been taking a lot out of me for some reason, maybe it's all the extra stuff I've been adding, but I felt bad for not updating, and I felt even worse that I left it at a cliffhanger lol. Hopefully the second part will follow up shortly.
I also have something to ask.
I made a poll, about how Sidney's love life should go. Yeah I know, I said Elijah, but someone mentioned Klaus, and then it got me thinking of Klaus and Sid, and how hilarious they would be. Like, Sid would be all like "I'm not impressed with your stupid accent." And then Klaus could be like "Oh, of course you're not, love."
And then a friend of mine suggested Matt, and BOOM! Love triangle had been created. But that's not the ONLY love triangle to vote for!
But I am biased, I kinda REALLY want Matt/Sidney/Klaus love triangle, but I have decided to let you guys choose, because I have already chosen Tori's endgame. And if it's a love triangle, I will put up another poll letting people choose the guy.
So it's Originals against a human! Go and vote please! It's really important to Sid's story line that I can figure everything out by season 2 so I know what plot lines to make.
Tori's and Sidney's outfits are on Polyvore, and ONE OF THESE DAYS I SHALL CATCH UP TO THEM.
