I want to make up for not updating sooner so here's another chapter. Two chapters in one day =) Hope you guys like it!

Chapter 25
Annabeth and Sean were lost in each other's eyes when suddenly the door opens revealing Thalia and Silena. They were both startled. Thalia and Silena raised their eyebrows at the two. "Are we interrupting something?" Thalia asked. "No!" Annabeth shrieked. Sean just smiled at them. Thalia noticed that they were holding hands. She gave Annabeth a questioning look. Annabeth suddenly realized what Thalia was asking. She immediately let go of Sean's hands.
"How are you Sean?" Silena asked breaking the silence. "Recovering I guess." He replied. "Gods you look awful!" Thalia teased. "Thank you very much." He said sarcastically. Thalia just chuckled. "Seriously it's good to see you awake." He just smirked.
"So how's your head. Did the hit on your head knock some sense on you?" Thalia teased. "Thalia!" Annabeth scolded. "Ha ha very funny Thalia." He mocked. Thalia just laughed at him. She made her way to the couch and turn on the TV.
"You scared all of us last night, you know." Silena confessed. "Charles was so afraid." Sean looked far away. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean any of this to happen." He said. "We know that. Do you know those guys who did this to you?" He pursed his lips into thin line and shook his head. "I'm trying hard to remember but nothing." Annabeth placed her hands on his and squeezed it. "We will deal with it later but right now you need to get better." Sean nodded. "Thank you by the way for stopping by." "Don't mention it." Silena said.
They were just talking about random things when suddenly Thalia stand up and walked towards them. "I'm bored and hungry. I'm going to go and get something to eat. Who wants to come with me?" She asked. "Me." Annabeth and Silena said at the same time. "Okay, so let's go." She said. "We'll be back." Silena said to Sean. Annabeth was about to stand up when Sean stops her. "Can you please stay?"
The three girls looked at each other. Thalia grinned at Silena. Annabeth blushed furiously. "Of course she will. We'll get you something, anything in particular?" Thalia asked smiling. "Um..whatever you guys will have." Annabeth said. Silena nodded and nudged Thalia to go. The two look each other and grinned. Annabeth just rolled her eyes at them.
They watch them walked out the door. "Thank you for staying." He said timidly. She just smiled at him. "I just don't want to be left alone." He said. "God I hate it here. Can I go home now?" Annabeth shot her a look that practically says Are you serious? He desperately wanted to tell her that being in the hospital reminds him of the past which he was running from.
"You know that you can't go home. You still need to stay here and recover besides the doctor needs to check up on you." She explained. "I'm feeling better now. Mom and Charles can take care of me." He said. "Unless the doctor says that you can go home you are stuck in here." Annabeth made her point. Sean just groaned.
"Look at my body, I look like a Dalmatian." He joked. Annabeth just rolled her eyes. "That's not funny." She scolded. "What?" He chuckled. "Or a map." "Stop it!" Annabeth snarled. "Come on. It's funny." He teased. "It is not."
Charles POV
I just came from the police station. What I have learned worried me much. I needed to talk to Sean and mom. As I was heading to Sean's room I saw Thalia and Silena. "Hey!" Silena called when she saw me. I smiled at them and kissed Silena on the cheek. "What have you got there?" I asked. "Lunch." She simply replied. "Have you eaten already?" She asked. I just nodded.
"Been here long?" I asked. "Nuh, about an hour ago. Thalia woke up late." Silena answered. "Not my fault. What happened last night freaked me out you know. I'm just recharging." She excused. "Whatever." SIlena teased. I just smiled at them.
When we opened the door, Annabeth and Sean was bickering. "Don't be stubborn Sean!" Annabeth scolded him. "I am full." He said. "What's going on?" I asked. "Your little brother here is too stubborn to eat." Annabeth complained. "I already ate." He said. "Yeah about 3 tablespoon, it doesn't count. You need to eat more if you want to recover fast." She said. I shot Sean a disapproving look. "You need to eat Sean." I said. "Oh gods you are worst than mom." He complained. "Deal with it. You need to drink your medicine so you need to eat." Annabeth demanded.
"You two are adorable. You're fighting like a married couple." Silena squealed. Annabeth just rolled her eyes. "Lunch is here so come on Annabeth let's eat." Thalia said. "Go and eat." Sean demanded. "I'm not going to eat unless you finished your food." "Annabeth." He complained. Sean looked at me for help.
I chuckled. "Go ahead and eat Annabeth I'll take care of him." Annabeth look at me and think for a moment. She let out a deep sigh and handed me the bowl. "Make sure he will eat." She instructed. I salute her and laugh. "Boys." She muttered and head towards the table.
"Okay brother you need to eat or else Annabeth will kill me." I teased. He groaned. "I am not hungry." He said stubbornly. I laugh at him. "Don't be such a baby." I mocked. He glared at me. "What did you found out?" He asked. I looked at the girls and they were busy eating. I leaned in closer to him placing the bowl on the side table.
"Do you remember the time when you first met mom." I asked quietly. He nodded. "Do you remember the 2 guys who tried to rob the store?" He thought for a moment. After a few seconds his eyes got wide. "Are they…?" He trailed off. I nodded before he even finished his question.
He closed his eyes trying to remember. Then realization hit him. He opens his eyes and for a while it turned dark. "Now I remembered them. So that's why they are telling me that they just want to get even." I nodded. "One of them confessed." I said. "Did mom already know?" He asked. I shook my head. "I haven't seen her since this morning. I'll tell her once I saw her."
He became quiet for a while. "Do they…" He stammered. "Do they want me dead?" I squeezed his shoulder. "I don't know yet. The police was further investigating." I explained. "Mom is going to freak out." He said. "Yeah. It's quite a lot to process. "
Annabeth's POV
I turned to look over my shoulder and saw Sean and Charles deep in conversation. I can't hear what they are talking about. They're whispering. "What are they talking about?" I asked to Silena and Thalia. They look at them. "No idea. We are here with you." Thalia said sarcastically. I glared at her and she just laugh. Silena studied the two brothers. "I can tell it was serious basing from their reaction."
I turned to look at them again. I saw that Charles was not feeding Sean. I got up from my seat and head towards them. "I thought you said you're going to feed him." I said pertaining to Charles. They were both in deep conversation and failed to notice me. They were both startled. Charles gave me an apologetic look. Sean just smirked at me. "What are you guys talking about anyway?"
"Nothing." They said in unison. I gave them a questioning look. "Come on give me the bowl." I said to Charles. I sat down at the other chair. "Come on, eat." I demanded to Sean. He looks amuse. I raised my eyebrow at him. He chuckled and opens his mouth. "Good boy." Charles teased and got up from his chair and seat beside Silena on the table.
He was halfway finishing his food when someone knocks at the door. We all turned to look. Clarisse peak her head inside and smiled. "Hi everyone." She greeted. She opens the door revealing the others. Clarisse, Chris, Travis, Connor and Katie entered the room. I thought I saw Sean scowled. They approached Sean and asked him how he was doing.
When they are all settled in the room, I turned back to feeding Sean. Now he was being stubborn again. "What now?" I asked when he doesn't want to eat anymore. He turned to look at where Chris is. I scrunched my eyebrows. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I 'm full." He lied. Before I can even start to lecture him he called Charles.
Charles approached him. "Yeah?" He asked. "I need to go to the bathroom." Sean said. Charles nodded. He helped Sean got to his feet and guide him towards the bathroom. I noticed the eerie atmosphere of the room. I turned to look at Thalia and Silena. They just smiled at me. Silena gestured to where the others are. I saw Chris mouthing sorry. I just smiled at him. They all know what just happened.
Minutes later, Charles and Sean came out of the bathroom. Charles was slowly guiding Sean. When they were halfway across the room, the door swings open revealing Leo. Before anyone can react he run towards Sean and hugs him tightly. Sean let out a cry. Leo suddenly let go. I rushed to where Sean is. Katie smacked Leo on his head. "Oh gods, I'm so sorry Sean." He tried to apologize.
"Watch it Leo!" Charles scolded. Sean is clutching at his wound. "Are you okay?" I asked him. He slowly lifts his hand and sure is his wound is bleeding. I smacked Leo on his arm. "Look what you did!" I snarled at him. "Oh gods are you okay?" I asked again. He shook his head. "Bed." He weakly says. Charles slowly guides him back. He lay in his bed with his eyes closed. "Call a doctor or a nurse!" Charles demanded. Leo hurriedly went outside.
"Sean." Charles called. He slowly opens his eyes. "I'm fine. Don't worry." He said. "I'm sorry man." Leo said. Sean just smiled at him. "It's okay." He replied. The others were standing around his bed when the nurse came in. "What happened?" She asked. "This idiot hurt him." Thalia said. "I'm sorry okay. I didn't know." He apologized. The others just shook their head and gave the nurse a room. They went back to the couch.
She unwraps the gauze from Sean's body and examines the wound. "It will be fine. I just need to clean it and change his gauze. The pressure causes the wound to bleed. So it will be nice if you guys refrain from hugging him." She teased. Leo suddenly felt embarrassed. "I am just happy to see him okay." He mumbled. Charles ruffled his hair.
"Haven't you eaten yet?" She asked Sean. "I already did." He replied weakly. She raised her eyebrow. "I don't think so. You need to eat Sean." She said. He shook his head. "I am not hungry." I rolled my eyes. He's being too stubborn again. "You want me to feed you?" She said flirtatiously. That caught my attention. She grabs the bowl and sat next to Sean's bed.
Before I can even stop myself, I reached out my hand and gestured her to hand me the bowl. "I'll take it from here." I said to her firmly. She raised her eyebrow at me and smirked. "Let me know when you need something." She told to Sean and winked at him.
I glared at her. She turns back and head towards the door. Charles thanked her. When she reached the door Connor blocked it. "Can I take you to lunch?" He flirted. She rolled her eyes on him. "Not interested." And walks out the door. He pouted and slumped to the couch. Katie instantly smacked him on the head. "What the hell!" He cursed. "Serve's you right flirt!" Katie teased. "Whatever!" He snarled. The others laugh at him. "Losing your touch brother?" Travis teased. He just glared at him. "Look who's talking." Connor mocked. Travis just laughed at him.
Smiling I turned my gaze back to Sean who is looking at me amusedly. I raise my eyebrow at him. "What?" I asked. He just smiled at me. "So now are you eating?" I asked. He just nodded. He gestured me to stop when he can't eat anymore. "No more. I'm going to throw up if you insist." He said. I just nodded. I gave him the medicine and he took it. He lay back again and closed his eyes. I knew he needed to rest so I got up from my seat.
"Someone's jealous." Thalia teased. "Whatever." I said and continued to eat my food. I look back at Sean and he is now sleeping peacefully. I noticed the others looking at me. I just rolled my eyes at them. They just laugh and continued to do whatever they are doing.
We spend the rest of the day hanging out at the hospital. Hestia then came back. In the afternoon we said goodbye when Sean was awake. Charles accompanies us outside. "Guys I want to talk to you about something." He said. We looked at him curiously then he starts to explain things.
