This is a story I came up with based on the movie Dirty Dancing

Chapter 25 Perfect start of the Summer

After about three days of staying in the hospital Baby is glda she could go home. This time together with her baby bot and Johnny who stayed with her all the time. Max had given permission to stay with Baby until she would be back home. So this meant that Johnny needs to go back to work again.

Johnny held his son in his arms and paced a little bit while looking at junior with a smile. Baby is packing her bag, she is still tired a lot but she doesn't want to lay down the whole time.

When she finished with packing she looks up at Johnny and junior and smiles. How she would love to have this on a picture. Then it came to her mind that her father left the polaroid behind, just in case he said to her.

She looks in her bag and found the camera, when she lifts it up to make a picture, Johnny just turns around to look at her and smiled when Baby made a picture.

"Well that will be a weird picture." He said and Baby chuckled a bit while laying down the picture on the bed. She packed the camera again.

"Wait. Let's ask the nurse to make one of us three, I would love to have a picture of our sweet family." Johnny said as he walks to Baby to give her a kiss and hand her junior. The baby moved a little bit and made some sucking noises. Baby smilled at him as she waggled him a little bit.

The nurse came into the room to check if everything is alright. "You need help with anything?" She asks with a smile, Baby turns to her and smiles back. "We're good and ready to go." Baby said.

"There's one thing you can do." Johnny said as he picked up the camera. "Do you want to make a picture of the family?" He asks as he handed the camera to the nurse. "Of course." The nurse said with a smile as she take the camera.

The nurse made two pictures so Baby and Johnny had each a picture. "Thank you so much." Baby said as Johnny packed the camera. When they both were ready, the nurse walked with them to the entrance of the hospital. They said their goodbyes and Baby walked with Johnny to his car.

"What time do you need to be back at Kellerman's?" Baby asked as they departed from the parking. "I can't stay too long, Max had called yesterday and he doesn't want to let me stay with you for much longer. The guests who have arrived at the weekend are desperate for lessons." Johnny said. "At least that is what he said." Johnny added after a second.

"Then please stay for dinner before you go." Baby said as she looks at Johnny with puppy eyes. Johnny chuckled a little bit while shaking his head. "Fine, but after dinner I need to go." He said and Baby smiled happily at him. Baby checked on junior, who is fast asleep.

After a few hours they arrived at Baby's parents' house. Baby stepped out and took junior out of the car as well. Johnny took Baby's bags out of the trunk and they walk to the front door where Lisa has opened the door for them already.

"Welcome back home." She said with her high pitched voice. Baby smiled at her, Lisa looks at the baby. "You want to hold him?" Baby asks. "Oh may I?" Lisa asks and Baby nodded and handed junior over.

"Shall I bring your bags to your room?" Johnny asks. "Thank you darling." Baby said and gave him a soft kiss on her lips. He walks up the stairs with the bags. "Are mom and dad gone?" Baby asks as she enters the house behind Lisa.

"Mom is in the garden, hanging up the laundry. Dad is at work, think he will be home in a bit." Lisa answered. "How are you feeling Baby?" Lisa asks. "I'm still tired but I'm alright, feeling much better now." Baby said with a smile. Lisa handed junior back.

"Anything to drink?" She asks. "That would be nice." Baby said and wondered why Lisa was acting all so happily and helpful. "Is there anything you want to tell me?" Baby asks curiosly as Lisa came back with a glass of water.

"No, not really. I'm just happy to see you back again." Lisa said, but in the meantime she blushed a little bit. "I can see you are not telling me anything. You never really were that happy to see me back at home." baby said.

Lisa sits down and smiled brightly now, like she wanted to lit up the world. "I met someone." Lisa said. "Oh tell me more." Baby said even more curiosly. "His name is Lewis, he goes to Harvard and studies Law." Lisa said. "Where did you meet him?" Baby asks, but looks at junior because he moved a bit.

"Met him at the mall, he asked for directions and I helped him out since I know the way in the mall out of my head." Lisa said. "Of course you do." Baby said with a bit sarcasm. "Baby! Anyway, he asked me out and we had two dates so far." Lisa said while giggling a bit.

"Is there a chance I'm going to meet him?" Baby asks. "It's actually a coincidence, but he is going to Kellerman's for holiday as well." Lisa said. "So I will see him our whole holiday and he probably will be at the wedding too." Lisa said.

"Lovely, I hope he will make you happy Lisa. That is all I want." Baby said when Johnny came to the kitchen. "Did I miss something?" He asked as he sat down. "Lisa has a boyfriend and we will meet him at Kellerman's." Baby answered him as Johnny gave her a kiss.

"That's great! I'm happy for you Lisa." Johnny said with a smile. "Thank you." Lisa said as she stood up and went to the stairs. On the same moment Marge came into the kitchen. "Oh you're here already. Didn't expect you two for an hour." Marge said but smiled brightly as she greeted both Baby and Johnny.

"Hey hello." Marge softly said when looking at junior. Baby handed him over and Marge smiled happily. "It's a miracle. He has grown so much already in these few days." Marge said. "When is dad coming home?" Baby asks.

"He will be here in a minute. He has ordered Thai food, because he is later than normal and he guessed that Johnny would stay for dinner before going back to Kellerman's." Marge explained and the front door opened. "Ther eyou shall have him." Marge said and handed junior to Johnny and went to help Jake.

"Hello." Jake said with a smile when he entered the kitchen. He greeted everyone and looked with a soft smile at junior. "There is my little boy." Jake said and Johnny handed the baby over. Junior made happy noises and grabbed one of Jake's finger when he could do so. "He seems to love being with his grandfather." Johnny said with a smile.

"Let's eat. Johnny needs to get back to Kellerman's soon and I don't want Max hanging on the phone." Jake said and smiled at Johnny. Baby took junior over to feed him while eating herself as well. Johnny smiled happily while looking at Baby and his son who is happily drinking his bottle while looking at his mother with a very thoughtful look.

After dinner, Johnny stood up and took the sleeping junior on his arms to cuddle a little bit. Baby was still eating a bit while looking at Johnny with a smile.

"You're looking forward to the holiday Baby?" Jake asked. "Yeah, finally some rest as far as that is possible. I the wedding wil be soon too." Baby said. "Oh that reminds me, I must look for a dress." Baby said.

"I know a nice shop, we can go tomorrow if you want." Marge said. "Thanks mom. I would love too." Baby said. Marge smiled as she cleaned the table.

"I must go now." Johnny said after he kissed his son and then handed him over to Baby. "Can't wait to see you again and be with you every day." Baby said with a smile and gave Johnny a kiss.

"Let me take him Baby. So you two can say goodbye." Jake said with a smile, Baby handed him the baby and Jake smiled as he went to sit down on his relaxing chair while talking to junior about his day.

Baby and Johnny went outside. "I see you in a week. Call me if something happens okay?" Johnny said as he took baby in his arms. "I will. I miss you already." Baby said and Johnny kissed her. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you too." Baby whispered.

Johnny stepped in his car and drove away, Baby waved at him. She gave a little sigh as she misses him already. She went back inside the house and sat down on the couch, looking at her father and her son and smiled.

She was so tired that she fell asleep on the couch, Marge laid her down and laid a blanket over her. "She must be exhausted." Marge said. "She will be fine eventually." Jake said. "I'm going to lay junior down in his crib." He added as he stood up.
